Three stars because my fault for checking too late 😒
Bought back in July
If I’ve learned anything it is open everything even if it’s a gift ASAP because if you don’t by the time you do might be too late …
Since only have a month to return items
So buying Xmas gifts on sale in May or September or even October isn’t wise or for a birthday but not for two to three months after the great deal don’t do it
Cause you’ll just end up with useless paperweights and expensive trash in the end!!
As I did with this purchase when I opened it this month only to discover it broken the so called solar panel isn’t connected it fell out the box separately from the unit and doesn’t just stick back on or anything so clearly I’m stuck with it regardless and takes a lot to wind it so just set it up on the shelf to stare at and remind me of the error of my ways 🤦♀️
That’s why I gave it three stars instead of less because partially my own damn fault for not opening sooner 🙄

Ideal size, easy to use
This emergency radio is pretty decent. It has a handle for carrying, a good long antenna, a radio, a crank for power, a flashlight, and even a reading light that pops out and shines downward so you don’t have to use the flashlight for smaller light tasks. The flashlight gives a nice wide-angle light, but also has a really bright center light that’s more focused. The only complaint we had with this was that when you crank the crank, it doesn’t lock at the angle you’re in, so as you rotate it quicker, the crank arm changes angles and you’re constantly fighting that as you rotate. Compensating for that was making my son’s hand cramp as he used it. Not a huge issue, but worth mentioning I think. It’s a nice looking radio, too, and just the right size for throwing in a duffel for camping. I could even fit this in many purse if I wanted to.

Could be better.
The light cover cracked before I had a chance to use the product. The materials used could be better.

Power outage radio
Small but useful. Radio is good so far. The weather band channel is not as clear, but with antenna up I got a station I could hear. I got a few stations on the FM channel. The flash light and reading light is great. I am still looking for the SOS siren. My favorite feature is that it can be charged cranking or whining the handle, and it has a USB to charge cell phones.

Has several charging options
As far as emergency equipment goes, this radio is a must. It has so many features that can be useful in an emergency. There's a flashlight, reading lamp, charge and discharge function, band switch, tuner dial, and volume dial. It can be powered by three separate methods. It's rechargeable, and has a solar panel. It also has a hand crank that effectively powers it up when other sources are unavailable. It even has an SOS alarm. If you're going on any sort of trip or hike, this would be an ideal piece of equipment to bring along with you. I actually keep mine in my vehicle, so that I always have it with me.

As pictured. Works as advertised.
This item arrived in good condition and looks just as pictured. It is always good to have this type of radio in case of emergency. It works as expected. I will update this review if I find any issues after usage.

Love it....
A radio that is perfect for emergency situations. This radio provides weather alerts keeping you updated on the area you live in conditions. Included is USB cord, a hand crank, or a solar panel for charging. They all work, with the USB charging the quickest. Furthermore, you have a flashlight and an adjustable reading light that provide plenty of light. Considering this isn't a big radio it really has provides considerable sound. Very impressed with the volume of sound. The AM/FM tuner picks up a ton of stations where I live. The sound quality is great. Overall, this radio is perfect for outages and checking on the weather, however, it has such a great tuner you can use it for a portable radio to listen to a game or tunes! Very happy with the quality of this emergency radio!

Sweet!
The ability to keep the battery charged in different ways and situations is probably the most helpful. That ability keeps the radio available when you need it. Doesn't require shelf space in a closet you can keep this radio out and use it daily, stay on top of the weather, use the light sources, enjoy your favorite music stations. Do not plan on charging your phone or other devices. The internal power bank 74,000 mWh sounds like a lot but it is not it's almost a joke. It can power your phone for emergency use only. I was able to get about 10% power to my phone over 30 or 40 minutes. I tested it for another 3% but it got slower and slower. If you leave it plugged in you may cause problems for your phone or radio. This radio is not a power bank. Also the warranty states 18 months online and 12 months in the paper information. Happy listening.
Just an afterthought, the reading light makes an excellent light source if you're making a video and need a little extra light.
Update: still listening to this radio, I love it. But here is a little something that I learned. This radio has such a smooth sound that you can turn the volume down very very low and you still get a smooth sound, no noise. Also, you do generally need the antenna up for FM stations. This radio can (it may depend on your location) pick up FM stations without being extended. Now, when I listen to FM I leave the antenna horizontal. The sound is actually better and you can always pull the antenna up if you need to.

Great idea, but my unit is defective and will not work on battery.
My unit is defective and will not work on battery power at all, even when it shows fully charged.
Whomever designed this was really thinking ahead. This unit has everything you need for a crisis without power. I was prepared to give this a glowing review. However, the unit I have would not power up at all without being plugged in. I charged this up using the included USB cable and tested it while it was charging. Everything worked fine.
When the unit showed that it was fully charged (all four blue lights lit and red light solid non-blinking), I unplugged the unit to test it on battery. Nothing worked! There was no power to the flashlights, the radio, or anything. The panel would not light up when turned on. My only interpretation is that my particular unit is defective and will not work on battery power at all.
UPDATE: I decided to take this unit apart, as it did not work anyway. Upon removing the six small screws and opening up the case, I noticed that the battery was unplugged from the main control circuit board. I then plugged it back together and assembled the unit. After that all the functions of this unit worked as expected on battery power. Problem solved. However, the fact that I had to take this apart to fix it speaks to an issue with quality control during assembly. I would not recommend that anyone without a level of expertise take something like this with a battery apart, as I did here.

PERFECT for a portable emergency radio
Today we were predicted to have massive snow fall and winter is touch and go when it comes to power outages.
I was more than pleased to have this in my possession even if I don't end up using it for an emergency.
It's small and super functional. Radio for AM, FM, SW, WB. Tuning is smooth. Flashlight on one side, USB and charging ports on the other. Solar charging panel on the top, and my favorite part, the hand crank for charging on the back.
It's so perfect for when you need it, if you need it. Or just to use as a fun little portable radio.
For the price you'd think it'd be much for the size, but don't worry it is mighty for being a small radio. I personally think it's worth the price to have this little life saver on hand.

Rechargeable in different ways
I like how this radio is rechargeable in different ways. You can charge via a USB cord, solar or crank. The reception is very good and sound quality is very good too. The two different lights would certainly come in useful as well as the different radio bands it will accept.

Great for emergency back up situations
Thus is a modern version of the tried and true hand crank emergency radio. There are 2 lights on it, one on the front and one under the solar panel. The radio signal is clear and easy to use. There are 2 charging ports. One is type c for charging the unit and the other is USB for charging devices with the unit. There is also a charging indicator for the solar battery. Good addition to the emergency kit.

This is perfect. They thought of everything.
This emergency radio with NOAA weather alert is even better than the one I had since it has all 4 of the useful radio bands: AM, FM, SW (shortwave), and WB (the NOAA weather band).
There is one USB-A output port that can be used to provide emergency power to a cell phone. Combined with the hand crank, you can make an emergency phone call even if your household power goes completely out and your phone is near dead. There are 4 blue lights that indicate the level of power remaining in the battery. The battery is potentially capable of running: radio for 35 hours, reading light for 50 hours and recharges in a few hours.
This is a small but mighty little radio/light/charger with dimensions of 6.7 x 3.5 x 3.1 inches and weight of 1.7 lbs. This IPX3 weatherproof emergency radio is your friend when you hear the sirens blasting and telling you to seek shelter. Just remember to charge it up every couple of months.
