Compact size makes these easy to carry in pocket or on belt.
Buttons are flush rubber covered for durability.
Easy to use out of box after a charge.
Compatible with 11 frequencies.
Range worked well at about 500 feet, did not try farther.
Fun and a safety item at same time.
Very good value for a set of these.

Easy to Use with Great Features for Camping and Emergencies
I was really impressed with how easy these walkie talkies are to learn and use, especially since I had never used walkie talkies before. The instruction booklet was helpful, although I think it could have been written a little better. Fortunately, the radios are fairly intuitive, and I was able to figure out most of the functions without relying heavily on the instructions. I especially appreciated the picture showing what each button does, which made it much easier to get started.
One feature I really like is that these are license-free and FCC-certified, so I don't have to worry about needing a license or accidentally violating regulations just by using them as intended.
They also have some excellent features for camping, hiking, travel, and emergency situations. I like that they come with a rechargeable lithium battery, but can also run on three AA batteries. That's a huge advantage if you're camping somewhere without access to electricity. You can recharge the lithium battery when you have power and keep AA batteries as a backup when you don't.
The NOAA weather and emergency notification button is another feature I really appreciate. Having quick access to weather information can be especially useful when you're outdoors and conditions can change quickly.
I also really like the built-in LED flashlight. It's easy to turn on with the press of a button and is a convenient feature to have when you're camping, walking around after dark, or dealing with an unexpected situation.
My favorite feature may be the VOX function. Being able to talk hands-free without having to constantly hold down the push-to-talk button is incredibly convenient, especially when you're working with your hands or carrying equipment. The vibration notification is another thoughtful addition. If you're somewhere noisy where you might not hear an incoming call, the vibration lets you know someone is trying to reach you.
The two-pack comes with some nice accessories as well, including belt clips, lanyards, and two USB-C charging cables for recharging the lithium batteries. I also like the size. Each radio fits comfortably in the palm of my hand without feeling too large or heavy. I haven't tested just how long range it is, but so far it has worked with me in the house and my husband out back on the golf course. The sound was also fairly clear.
At $34.99 for the two-pack, I think these are a really good value considering all of the features and accessories included. You get rechargeable batteries, the option to use standard AA batteries, NOAA weather alerts, a flashlight, VOX, vibration notifications, and everything you need to carry and charge them.
Overall, these are easy-to-use, compact walkie talkies with a great combination of everyday and emergency features. I think they're especially well suited for camping, hiking, family trips, outdoor activities, or keeping on hand for emergencies. For someone like me who had never used walkie talkies before, the learning curve was pleasantly easy.

Practical and Feature Packed Walkie Talkies
After having used these on a few hikes and while at work, I can say that these are effective and very functional. The audio quality is higher than other Walkie Talkies that I have used in the past and the range is quite far. I have no specific details for the range but it is at least over 1 mile in the wooded area that I tested in. I really appreciate the large colored screen and the powerful flashlight. I also like the rather long battery life, at least 4 hours of continuous use. Overall, I have been very happy with these so far.

Cool looking FRS radios with a lot of features but lacking in user interface
I'll start with the good, these radios look awesome, they're sleek, modern, and fun. They work well for local comms and sound great. Not a lot of FRS radios offer CTCSS tones on out of the box so that's nice if you're working with friends and want to make sure you only hear each other and filter out other traffic.
The flashlight built in is one of the brightest I've ever seen in a radio, I don't really understand why every cheap radio has a flashlight built in, but I guess it could come in handy.
USB-C charging, and the rechargeable battery is easily replaced with AA batteries in a pinch, which is a nice emergency feature to have.
Now for the bad...
One of my first "tests" when I get a new radio is to see how much I can do without reading the manual first, I personally believe that radios should be user friendly, and that at the very least a somewhat technical person familiar with radios should be able to do all the basic operations without having to memorize button presses or functions.
These radios unfortunately failed that test. The buttons on these are so unintuitive it's ridiculous, in order to just change the channel you have to hit a menu button first, but don't press it too many times or you'll get into the actual menu, of which its not easy to tell what setting you're actually changing unless you have the menu codes memorized.
Once you get the hang of it it works okay but it definitely could have a better user interface.
The other not so great thing is the belt clips, every radio I have has a belt clip with some sort of spring built in for easy clipping, these are just plastic, and very difficult to get on and off a belt. Maybe okay if you're putting on a backpack strap or somewhere it doesn't need to come off a lot, but for putting on your belt where you need to unclip every time you want to talk, it's a bit of a frustration.

Versatile for many uses!
The boys have been having so much fun with these walkie talkies. They were easy to get set up and the sound quality is clear. I really like that they are rechargeable with USB C, so I do not have to keep buying batteries, but I also like that they can use AA batteries in an emergency. The built in flashlight is a great bonus for camping, playing outside at night, or even during a power outage. They are lightweight, comfortable to hold, and have been a huge hit in our house. Great value for a fun and practical set.
