Raffi Wheels on the Bus Children’s Picture Book

Wheels on the bus

We did a storybook party for our little one and needed more board books for our fireplace decor. This was a childhood favorite of mine. This book was perfect, exactly as described, arrived quickly in perfect condition.

Not something I want my children reading

There is a bratty little girl who sticks her tongue out rudely to people and is depicted throwing a fit on multiple pages. I was so disappointed because my daughters love The 5 Little Ducks and Baby Beluga. Too late to return now, so it’s going in the donation bin.

My son dropped the book ok the floor and it ripped.

Great book for toddlers

I loved this book as a kid and now my 2 year old son loves it too. He likes to hear us sing the song but he also is fascinated by the beautiful detailed illustrations. The board book is nice and sturdy and still looks new after hundreds of readings.

Other reviewers must not have noticed that this version takes place in an old French village, so that’s why there aren’t any people of color!!

Great book

Exactly what I wanted great board book. My toddler loves to sing along. Great illustrations.

This Raffi "Songs to Read" book is my toddlers favorite book, hands down

This Raffi "Songs to Read" book is my toddlers favorite book, hands down. We originally borrowed a copy from our local library and he became attached to the book (we had to read it over and over and over again), so we purchased our own copy.

At first he simply loved that my husband and I sang the book to him. But as we read it more and more he learned what verses go where and started to do hand motions or sounds for them on his own. Reading the book is now a totally interactive activity. We ask him what comes next, and he responds. So we have a lot of fun family time with this book. And I highly recommend adding this book to your library.

Plus, I think overall it is a fun change of pace to sing a book to a child rather than just reading it.
