I loved then while they lasted; horrible life span/price worth
It's a dissapointment how bad the life span/price of this headphones were in comparison of the good things I have heard from this company headphones, recently I couldn't hear from the right side, which I felt really disappointed about, since it has been only 8 months since I bought them. All this time I have been pretty happy with the quality (aside from structural problems of the headphones, which lead to it breaking a bit, but since it was only anesthetically I didn't didn't cared that much) and of this product content, which it was much more than I thought, but it was really a downer to know they got ruined in such a short time, really really disappointing.

Cheap plastic breaks in months form normal use
I've had these for about 8 months and the left side hinge broke a few days ago out of nowhere. They had never been dropped or abused in any way. I probably haven't used them even 50 hours. They are just using really cheap plastic. They sound pretty good but they are trash now that I can't wear them. For comparison I've had my my Logitech G935 headphones for almost 10 years and nothing is broken on them.

Really good headset for gaming etc
I got these recommended by my bf and they are great, the audio, sound, and mic is really good as well. The appearance is also great I love the pink I would say it’s compatible with mostly anything I use a steamdeck and it works good and it’s very comfortable too and lastly battery wise I wouldn’t say I’m too sure but based on what I’ve heard it does last a while

Great starter headset, works really well overall
I bought these with pretty high expectations because it’s Razer, and I’ve always heard good things about the brand. I thought the sound quality was going to be amazing right out of the box, especially for gaming and streaming.
After using them for a while, I’d say they do their job, but they’re not as impressive as I expected. The sound is decent and clear enough for everyday use, but if you’re looking for something with really strong bass or super detailed audio, this might feel a bit underwhelming.
That being said, they’re actually pretty comfortable, which I really appreciate. I can wear them for long periods without them bothering me, and the battery life has been great so far. I also like that I can easily switch between devices, which is useful when I’m going from my setup to my phone.
I’ve been using them for streaming and general use, and honestly, they’ve been reliable. I wouldn’t say they’re top-tier, but they’re a solid option if you’re just starting out and don’t want to spend too much.
Overall, I think these are good as a beginner headset. Not the most powerful in terms of sound, but still practical and worth it for the price.

Great but. . .
Bought this because of its minimal design, doesn't scream gaming headset like typical ones so u can actually wear it outside.
Pros: clear sound, plug and play via 2.4ghz, Bluetooth or even wired. Yes it does comes dongle and wire jack. Simple design and comfortable to wear.
Cons: the volume is not that great I wish it has more! If u wear this outside don't expect any notice cancelling and the ear pads materials if u have sensitive skin, it might cause some itchiness and can absorb sweat, and others can hear what ur listening to..
But then again for the price you really can't complain much.

One pair broke after a year, the other took 18 months
You get what you pay for, but get something else- there are better products at this price range. For reference I bought these in 2023 for around $40.
Overall a solid pair of headphones for the price, other than the disastrous build quality and a few other issues. Connectivity is extremely janky if your dongle and any of your Bluetooth devices are on the same continent (no issues w/o Bluetooth devices paired) and they sometimes power off with no warning at low battery- even when actively charging.
Razer also allows you to purchase THX spatial audio software on their website- in my experience all it did was worsen functionality, make music sound worse, and make games very slightly more immersive. It's a waste of $15
My brother and I both had these (I had the regular X's he had the pros). Within a year one pair had broken and the other failed after 18mo. Both left ear cup brackets cracked then shattered a few weeks later- I assume a manufacturing defect or razer trying to get away with a cheap plastic.

Comfortable and Versatile Headset
I’ve been really happy with this headset so far. The fit is perfect—not too tight around my head, and it sits comfortably over my ears instead of pressing on them like some other models. I also really like the detachable mic, especially when I just want to use the headset for listening.
One of the best features is the versatility. You can easily switch between the wireless dongle, Bluetooth, or a wired connection depending on what you’re using it for. It’s super convenient whether I’m gaming, working, or just listening to music.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort and multi-device flexibility

Worth it!
I game a lot and always need good quality headphones because I play a lot of games based on spatial awareness and hearing (FPS and more). I also like having my mic combined with my headset. This gives the option for both. I love the wired or wireless option. Good quality Bluetooth. The razer hype was worth it.

UGH I wanted to love these
They’re so cute and they fit well. I work in a call center so I really liked the design and the detachable mic etc… BUT they keep being very crackly on calls. I have been told a lot lately that the sound is breaking up and it’s become regular at this point. I’ve only had them for a few weeks. I also don’t think they go up super loud and I’ve gotten complaints that it echos when I have it up all the way.

Perfect for me
For gaming: Sound 10/10 - Sound with mic attached 0/10
Tried it with Valheim, a game in which you get many sounds from different things at the same time: the sea (we have a base by the coast), the wind, rain, specific sounds from the monsters, trolls and skeletons that try to kill you, and animals that are close by. It caught ALL the sounds even when things weren't close to me. And I could actually tell the direction they were coming from. I kind of have become the person in charge of letting my boyfriend know if something is approaching our base just because I can actually hear all these sounds with my headset.
To keep in mind: When connecting the physical mic and trying to use it (with Bluetooth), the mic quality is also great BUT the audio quality becomes distorted and bad. I'm still trying to figure out what to do about this, but it's fine for me since I didn't want a physical mic anyways (I always use my laptop's mic).
Noise cancellation: 10/10
As someone who gets flustered by all the outside noises, I can tell you this headset does a very decent job at not allowing me to hear the rain, the sound of the fan and whatever other noises there are out there while gaming/listening to music. Helps a lot with my concentration.
Sound quality: 10/10
Sounds great for both music and voice calls. The 7.1. Surround Sound thingy is easy to install and actually makes a difference.
If you are looking for a good headset but don't care about the mic, this could be a good one for you!

Way better than reviews make it out to be. No need to look elsewhere. Crazy good microphone.
I was looking for essentially the best bluetooth mic I could get for work. A boom mic would be the minimum requirement for me, because you need the mic physically close to your mouth, so it had to be some sort of gaming headset. After that, I looked for mic sound tests and all that.
So, you'll watch reviews and hear soundtests for the mic, and you'll think it sounds kinda bad on bluetooth. Even using the USB C dongle, other headsets like the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro or the Hyperspeed are significantly better.
Well, take this from an audiophile: I tried these first hand and they are great. From the build quality, the mic quality and ability to not pick up background noise, all the way to the sound quality on bluetooth. I was under the impression that I was going to settle for a mediocre mic, and thankfully that's not the case at all. This mic is up there with a desktop boom mic, and sounds better than my $150 Logi Pro X. Your voice comes across clear and crisp without background noise, even if you speak at a low volume.
The default EQ preset is garbage, but download the EQ app and set the preset to music or do your own custom preset, and it definitely surpassed my expectations. They also feel super solid though I'll have to break them in for a bit. So far, I love them. I'm glad I didn't go for the more expensive BlackShark hyperspeed. If these ever break on me, I'm more likely to buy them again than not. Sound clarity / definition is definitely good, comparable to quality open-backs like Sennheiser's. Sadly Razer uses a trash EQ by default, but nothing that can't be fixed by the user.
These can get "bust-your-eardrums" loud, if necessary. The thing itself is not uncomfortable and does not put a ton of pressure on your skull, but with time and use it gets gradually more comfortable.
I love how well-built they are. They are lightweight, but not in a cheap way. Razer is slowly earning me as a loyal customer, this is my third device from them and it's a hit like the others. First two being the Kiyo Pro webcam and the Siren V2 X mic.
One tip for Discord regardless of device or headset: Disable echo cancellation, It only causes problems.
The auto call switching feature is a nice add-on, and the USB-C dongle works on your phone if you want, even with a case on, as long as it's not a very thick case.
10/10, I hope Razer doesn't abandon this product line (at this price) and they continue to make newer / better iterations years down the line.
EDIT: I ended up downloading Wavelet on my phone and using an AutoEQ profile specific to the 2022 Barracuda X. I couldn't be happier, sound clarity and quality improved a lot. (If you wanna do this and previously used the Razer app to set an EQ preset, go back to that app, connect the headset, and change it back to default. Otherwise the AutoEQ won't work properly).

HONEST REVIEW | Order for PC | Reasons for return after ONE DAY
This product seemed amazing for it's reviews until I received it. It's packaged nicely, comes with many great features where you can answer phone calls through the headset, determine the quality of the sound through the app if you're watching a movie, listening to music, playing the game, etc. Although that was pleasing, I've had the headset for ONLY ONE DAY and found features I couldn't use. ROBLOX for example, when I wanted to use my mic, I couldn't hear the background of the game, nor the players, or my music playing a Youtube. The Players in game could hear me, but I couldn't hear them. I tried this with my HyperX Cloud headphones and everything I wanted to hear was there! So I will be returning.
P.S. the sound quality was horrific! I tried to convince myself it was good, but in reality I hated it. Never spending this much on a headset again until I do more research.

Surprisingly good for $100
Pros: The sound is really nice and feels very immersive to me. The bass isn't too cloudy and the treble isn't piercing.
I have a smallish head so the base length fits well enough, but I always go a size up just in case. Because they're so lightweight, the earcups don't come off my ears too easily. Though it feels a bit cheap and plasticy (because it's plastic I think), it holds quite well. I've even managed to fall asleep on them with no damage, though still try to avoid it. Compared to the space q45 headphones from Soundcore, these are way better for the price, given the amount of connection options.
The battery is... uh, I think they enchanted this battery. Out of the box, it was at like 80%, and nowadays it remains at a stable 50% throughout the day if I don't charge it. It's crazy how long it actually lasts. The latency is almost unnoticeable, but I'm not sure how much can be said when it comes to the mic.
Cons: The switching between bluetooth and hyperspeed wireless is finicky. When it's connected via USB but in Bluetooth mode, any sound from that source overrides the Bluetooth by actively pausing the sound, if possible. Sometimes, when you're in hyperspeed wireless mode and you switch back to Bluetooth, the sound gets weird and stuttery, which is fixable by unplugging the wireless adapter and rebooting the headphones. The connection does produce faint clicky sounds when it's not playing anything on Bluetooth, but it's easy to get used to.
The microphone is alright, though I do wish that there was an option to disable whatever noise-cancellation it does itself, and an option to use it as headphones without a mic when it's not plugged in. Maybe develop an attachment on top of the headphones that stores the mic; I'd gladly buy something like that.
Keep in mind that there's no active noise cancellation, but I think it's somewhat passive. The volume knob is separate from the actual device volume, which is a good touch for any fine-tuning.
If you're not keen on spending too much for a gaming headset, this is a nice option.

Great tech but way to loose
love the quality of it, blue tooth, wireless, and headphone jack and detacheble mic and stuff is great. but it would be way better if it wasn’t so loose. easily falls off whenever i look down. or move my head. and only sounds good when i press on it to squeeze it. so id say get a different headphone if you are going to use this a lot.

great quality/price ratio
The product arrived in great condition. It seems to be made from durable materials. Contrary to other headsets I had before that had pillows made from fake leather, the ones in this set are made from fabric that won't fall into pieces and is breathable. I must say that I was expecting a lot more from the microphone. I had a much cheaper JBL headset that fell into pieces after two years of use, but its microphone worked a lot better.
For those like me who are not familiar with the use of wireless headsets, I must say that the experience could be better, but not only for this brand; I think that it is a generalized problem. If you are in a virtual meeting connected via Bluetooth or via 2.4 GHz and you receive a phone call, the headset automatically takes the call without asking, and you stop hearing your meeting or being able to talk. This shouldn't happen. It is good that the headset can be able to connect to two devices simultaneously, but you should approve a request to change the source, like a waiting call request or something.

Light and comfortable
Barracuda X Wireless: Great headset, really enjoy how light it is. In fact it's lighter than my old wired headset, seriously impressive considering how good the battery is. I use it for maybe 6 hours a day, and it will last at least half a week. The sound quality is pretty good, the sound stage isn't super wide but its a good experience. The mic is the weakest point, its not terrible sounds very "gamer" if that makes sense. Also don't expect for it to to do noise cancellation or any of the other fancy features, don't even bother installing the razer app. One other complaint is that its too loose on the head, can't really lean your head upside down or lean over to grab something or it will fall off (at least on my head).
I've attached what the mix sounds like, it does work well with discord noise suppression and doesn't pick up my keyboard or anything.

Good features, horrible built quality
I'll start to say that it built out of a cheap plastic that won't hold even if you just use it normally, just look at the pictures, I don't put it nowhere that isn't my head or my monitor when I'm not using them and they just broke, they are lightweight and confortable to wear, yes, but I would rather have something that isn't gonna break with normal use, feels good to hold and isn't made with such a cheap plastic. I was hoping it was better considering I heard the material wasn't the best but still worth the 100$ from yt reviews but seems those guys were bought.
I switched to these after my HS70 Bluetooth broke looking for a completely wireless headphones and while you can't use them simultaneously with your pc and BT connection you can switch quickly, when it works.
This headset is finicky when it comes to connection, a couple of examples:
1. If you switch to BT and it was connected to a device but that device is not available it will keep looking for it for a couple seconds and won't let you switch back to 3.5GHz at all. This is REALLY frustating to.
2. Setting: You have the dongle connected to a PC, you turn off PC, when you come back it may or may not want to connect (doesn't happen that often but it happens) and you will have to reseat the dongle which is annoying.
Now that you know the bad I will tell you what any other review will say. Things to expect:
1. Good but too bassy, if you know what good audio is or if you are an audiophile you will know that relying on either end of the spectrum isn't good, but we gamers like the bass don't we?
2. Range is actually good, I live in a 2 story house and have never had disconnection even moving to the backyard (which is close to my room that is in the second floor but still) but my friends say mic cuts out while going down the stairs.
3. Mic quality is expected from a wireless headset, you could record a couple of videos but invest in a 30$ mic
And that's it, that's all you will need to know about this headset. But I will also give you a tip, buy dedicated things or pay the price. I wanted a wireless headset that could do many things but I ended paying too much for a subpar headset in my opinion, I would say buy a headset that doesn't have too many features because it will be lacking in some areas or up the price you are willing to pay so you get something you cannot complain about.

Honest review after 6 months
Alright, here I am back after 6 months of using it. I have the Razer Barracuda X 2022 white.
Pros: The box and attachments are awesome ( Razer knows what they are doing), can't complain about the sound it has a solid bass, good middle and low sound, I am a musician and I can tell the difference between brands and models, this one overall is better than most of them, and it's less expensive too. It is very comfortable to use, the battery takes forever to go low and the headset tells you when to charge, like a real voice asks you to charge, it's nice (charges pretty fast). It looks great with, top-notch design (I have the white version). I can walk around the house and It works nicely, the 7.1 surround sound feature is great for gaming, I play CS GO, and if you guys know, 90% of this game is sound, If you can hear well, you win matches, I can hear perfectly and the 7.1 surround feature and it helps me identify directions. The option to de-attach the mic is also one of the reasons why I bought this specific model, I have another mic and wanted the headset mic out, it looks perfect.
Cons: The white cushion that goes over the ears is starting to fade and get dirty, not sure what I can do about it, if they sell separately, or if I have to clean it myself. The headset has a feature that turns it off, (to save battery), after a period of not being used (like 2-5 min). Great, right? yeah, but after a couple of months of use, it turns off after a couple of seconds when nothing is being played and the headset is just "idle", which is VERY UPSETTING because sometimes I am just switching games and it disconnects. I have to connect again. Sometimes the razer app 7.1 surround doesn't recognize the wireless bundle that connects to the back of my pc so I have to go to my PC case, disconnect and connect again, I never used to have this problem, but now it's literally almost every time. The main reason I bought this headset was that it's wireless; now being wireless is the leading cause of my issues.
Before the 6 months of use: A solid 9.5/10, can think about only a couple of things that could have been done to be a 10/10.
Today, 3/11/2023, I would give it a 7/10. It's a love/hate relationship, I love the headset when it works normally, but all those issues with the wireless connection piss me off. I literally have to keep something playing all the time so it doesn't disconnect by itself after a couple of seconds.
I am going to contact Razer customer service to see if something can be done to fix this issue. A replacement, a way to fix the issue, idk, something that can do to help me with this.
I understand that it is a 2022 model and things could have gone wrong, but it's very upsetting that I have to be trying to fix it all the time when all I just want to sit and play something.
Here's my honest review. Hope it helps.
