Love it. Works amazing. Had a wired headset works good but really wanted a wireless so got this. Definitely happy. Battery last long seems hasn't died yet I believe the 70 hours now, sounds great, has a app you can download on the Xbox also to set up a equalizer even. Works great for gameplay and for party chat. There is a dual on the left side to control overall volume, on the right side a dial for game chat/ voice chat mixture to adjust between the two to hear both. I got a big head and it adjustable way past what I need for my head so no problem for any big head players like myself lol. You can connect it thru the Xbox with dongle or Bluetooth to anything else pretty much it seems. I looked at their reviews on a bunch of headsets and this seemed like the best one for under $100 and I'm pretty sure that that is true now. Love it.

Sound quality is very good and it is comfortable for your ears, I really enjoyed it

All around great headset. Easy to use and connect. Compatible with many different systems. Bluetooth connection is solid with no lag. good sound quality with no distortion. comfortable to wear even for multiple hours. The mic seems to be working well also. headset is adjustable. Solid construction, and feels durable in your hands. Will update if anything changes.

They can handle the harshest frequencies and maintain clearer sound, thanks to the EQ even with the worst headphones they can sound great, don’t get the wrong idea, I manage to suppress static noises up to a 95% in my custom pre set EQ, Ive only wish they had more pre set to customize and switch at will, very light and comfortable, easy Bluetooth connection, no lag, Loud enough efficient ohm, I’ve tested other headphones and it was difficult to maintain heavy bass and vocals at the same time separated in clear volume, surprisingly very good, I haven’t tested the mic yet.

The positives
The headset has 4 connectivity options and is fully wireless with the ability to be used via wire with a PC when the battery dies. The Bluetooth can be connected to a phone and the dongle connected to a PC/console simultaneously and the headset can toggle back and forth between the connections. Having the dedicated connection to Xbox interface is also a massive win for the price point. This is the best connectivity feature in the headset. The white and green color scheme really pops giving a high end look and calls back to the Xbox 360 era.
The negatives
The fit of the headset is ok for a $77 price tag. The ears can adjust up and down, but that is it. The ear cups are comfortable, but with variations in head size and the lack of adjustment for the headset it may or may not fit or feel comfortable at all when using it for long durations. The headset fitting is really based on how close the head strap is to the top of your head; that is really the only thing holding it there as the retention of the ear pieces isn't much.
The sound is not the best. I'm not a sound expert or enthusiast by any means, but when going back and forth between basic audio such as a TV and then the headset it is noticeable how terrible the sound quality is. For a basic headset this is on par, but still not the best. The surround sound is a nice feature, but the headset sounds like it is being forced into overdrive with the surround sound on and it isn't great; playing with the settings can improve it, but stock should sound the best for most cases and it is terrible. For some use cases, it might work, but voices are heavily distorted and the sound isn't as good as other headsets I've used. With the wireless Bluetooth option in the headset, spending a bit more money and a better sound quality earbud headset can be bought and not have any of the negatives this headset has, but still have most of the benefits. I can definitely say it has decent bass, but that could also just be the sound of the overdrive kicking in and distorting the sound. The mic pics up ok, but it ends up needing to be right next to your mouth to have consistent pickup.
Overall
The presentation and ability to work with the Xbox platform are this headset's best feature as the packaging feels high quality and it presented very well. That said, I think going a bit cheaper on the packaging to lower the price a bit more would be the smarter choice. Given the sound quality and comfort aspects, this is more of a $50 headset, but given that the extra feature of working with an Xbox with their proprietary communication, the price being just over $70 isn't terrible. Just keep in mind, this isn't a headset that shines at much other than working with the Xbox platform and having a premium appearance. While I won't be replacing my current high-end headset with this one, it serves as a decent backup while searching for better replacement.
For the "average" gamer, this headset will do the trick, but anyone looking for a high sound quality experience will need to continue searching.

Do not buy these, save yourself the trouble. The audio is great and the mic did work for a week then it just stopped recognizing the mic. I contacted razer support they warrantied mines and sent new ones and it is the same issue. I let them know that the same problem was happening and they continued to deny that the issue is on their part. Both of my other headphones one wired and one wireless both work on my console fine no issues. Only my new razor headphones microphone won't work on my Xbox. Razer will not do anything to help and I cannot return them so now they are useless. Something with their software compatibility with Xbox I believe. I found a lot of people are experiencing this with razer with no help.

this headset may be fine for gaming (i don't game), but not for everyday use in a loud environment. phone calls sound great but people instantly complain about not hearing me or my voice just sounds bad. i have removed the microphone and just use them at work to listen to music. they are light and comfortable to wear all day, but long term I'll need to find a headset that performs well in loud environments because I'm tired of losing earbuds at work.

The Razer brand has been around for ages and is known for making quality, long lasting peripherals and gaming accessories. I already had a wired headset from another brand that worked fine, but I figured it was time to cut the cord and try something more modern that could work across multiple devices.
This headset does exactly that. I don’t game on consoles, but it works great on my Windows PC and also on my MacBook when I’m listening to music or streaming something. It paired with my iPhone 14 Pro Max without any issues too, which was nice.
There are Razer apps you can install, but that’s just not really my thing. I didn’t use them, so I can’t speak on that. Everything worked fine without installing anything extra anyway.
Sound quality is pretty comparable to a wired headset, at least to my ears. I had no trouble connecting with Bluetooth or the USB-C dongle. I do like that the mic is removable, gives it a bit more flexibility. I don’t really use voice chat, so I can’t say much about mic quality.
The sound itself is clear and balanced. The bass has a bit of punch but doesn’t feel overdone or cheap. I usually don’t mess with equalizer settings much, I prefer how it sounds right out of the box.
I also like the look of it. The white color stands out and makes it easy to find, especially when I leave it somewhere in a dark room after gaming.
Overall this is a solid headset. There are definitely other options out there with more features or better sound depending on who you ask, but for everyday use and going wireless, this one works well for me and I’d recommend it. Plus, it comes with some really neat stickers!

Happy as always, only used for 10min, so hope no issues come up, but perfect so far. Very lightweight and comfortable. Good packaging, I could see it had rough travels because of the outside box, but perfect inside. Also smells very clean, new, fresh, like it's straight from the factory. And lastly 10/10 audio quality. Very happy. Highly recommend for gamer looking for quality on a budget.

Sounds really good, the battery is long enough for my gaming session. Very comfortable. Connect flawless with PC, phones and Xbox.

Awesome gaming headset. Great sound and the mic picks up really well with no distortion on the receiving end. The speakers provide quality sound with no distortion. The value is good for a quality headset.

📦 Packaging: Comes in a neatly organized box with the headset, dongle, and detachable mic.
🏗️ Quality: Looks well made, with plush earcups and a lightweight build that stays comfortable for long sessions.
⚙️ Functionality: This headset is excellent for competitive play where positional audio matters. The soundstage makes it easier to place footsteps and directional cues, and the detachable cardioid mic delivers clear voice chat while reducing background noise. Connectivity is flexible, you can use the low-latency 2.4 GHz dongle for gaming and Bluetooth for mobile, with quick switching between sources. Battery life has been strong in regular use. The big practical point is platform compatibility. The Xbox version is the safest pick if you want broader console coverage, since Xbox support typically requires the correct version, while the other editions may not work on Xbox. A minor limitation is that the lightweight, mostly plastic build means it is comfortable but should be handled with a bit more care than heavier, metal-framed headsets.
💲 Value for Money: At around $80 at the time of review, it is priced competitively for a wireless esports-style headset with a clear mic and strong spatial audio.
👍 Recommendation: Yes
🎯 Best For: Xbox players who want low-latency wireless audio and clear comms, plus anyone who values lightweight comfort for long FPS sessions.

I play XBOX on the actual console and on PC. I have to compete with my kids for the console and big TV setup, but every now and then I get my shot. I was looking for a set of headphones that could handle either scenario, and these fit the bill. I had no problems getting them to work with either the console or my computer, so that was a huge win. Do they provide audiophile sound? No, but I wasn't looking for audiophile sound at this price point. The microphone works well, and I've even used it for work calls with Microsoft Teams, and my work mates tell me the sound is nice and clear.
The build quality on these feels a bit flimsy, so I don't think they'd withstand the abuse my kids dole out to headphones, but they're fine for me. They're over the ear, which I appreciate because I can't stand headphones compressing my cartilage! I found these to be moderately comfortable, but the headband part feels a bit large. I wore them for about an hour and a half without any problems.
All in all, if you're looking for a truly wireless headphone option that works with the XBOX console, these would fit the bill. They're a decent set of mid-range headphones. Time will tell about overall durability, but I'm pretty happy with them!

My son has wanted these Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless headphones for a while now. They are designed for Xbox but they connect with Windows and is customizable to virtually any PC
The coolest thing is these headphones work with the Razer Synapse App. The app pops up automatically when you plug your headphones into your PC. This app allows you to customize the audio of your games and transmit it to your headphones so you don’t have to keep adjusting the volumes on your headset each time. It remembers them.
For Xbox the sound is very clear. They have 7.1 surround sound. And the microphone is crisp and super clear.
The fit is nice. The pillows just right. They are very comfortable. The headset itself is lightweight.
Overall, the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Headset is the best headset we’ve ever had. It ranks superior in our books to all others in this price range. It’s definitely worth the investment. They won’t disappoint.
K
I tested these on PC, they still work really well. The option to have them wireless is extremely useful so it eliminates another factor of chords in the way which is nice. And extremely useful when on console so you dont have to use the controller's mic which has poor sound quality and causes feedback audio loops so these are going to be useful for everyone. The mic is super clear and the spacial audio is a huge plus as well as I tested it out in Arc Raiders.
I recommend this headset for both PC and Xbox users.
F&S
I received the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset from Razer primarily for use on Windows and XBox. As is typical from Razer, the device came nicely packaged and included well thought out extras such as extension and charging cables to make things easier regardless of your setup. The earphones are adjustable in all the right places and the mic boom can easily be attached and removed when needed. The comfort was middling but becomes less comfortable after 2-3 hours of play time. The head rest is soft and help to hold the unit securely in place. Overall I was disappointed in the sound quality. The mid and high’s are clear and accurate but the lows feel lacking and leave sounds like explosions or deep bass feeling less dramatic. This was a bit surprising given the size of the drivers. The Earphones can work wired, Bluetooth or on hyper speed (2.4GHz). Hyperspeed is nice but likely would not be noticeable to only the most experienced players and pros. The best feature on these earphones for gamers however mixer dial that allows you to balance the sound between the game and chat software. This is really a wonderful feature for any casual or professional gamer that likes to chat while playing. Ultimately this is a good value for gamers but there are better sounding headsets in the price range if you do not need the game features.
Consumer
The headphones were easy to connect to my PC, laptop, gaming device and my phone. There are several options to connect, including simple Bluetooth connections. It includes a USB Type C Razer HyperSpeed Wireless Dongle, a USB Type A to Type C cable, and a Type A to Type C adapter cable. The wireless dongle has a switch to select whether it’s going to be plugged into the XBOX or a different device. I think the dongle is the best option because it reduces latency even further.
These are excellent for games where being able to tell the direction a sound comes from is important. The directional qualities are outstanding. More than once, I started to turn to see if someone was in the room with me before realizing it was the game. They are lightweight, comfortable, and the controls are on the left side. L and R is also in big letters inside the headphones for those of us who constantly forget things like the controls are on the left.
Unfortunately, at the time of review, the accompanying software hasn’t updated to support the V3 of the BlackShark HyperSpeed headphones, which means I can’t evaluate how it interacts with that. While it has proven great for gaming, I prefer a different pair of headphones for music quality. It’s okay for music, but I felt it didn’t have a rich enough bass. I like that the microphone can be completely removed, allowing for use of a dedicated microphone.

Really good gaming headset for gaming or workcalls. The hardware is fantastic, the USB connector chords are extremely sturdy and ensure clear audio and mic usage. The mic can be turned on and off with a button, and it has an easily adjustable mic arm. The 2.4Hz Bluetooth adapter to connect with your PC does a decent job, but the audio isn't as clear as when I use the direct USB chord. The colors and design style look sleek and fun.

I got this for a friend of mine who is an Xbox gamer. He says it works very well and the included dongle makes it handy to connect to the Xbox. That is the main difference in this model and the others - there is some included dongle that is made specifically for the Xbox. If you don't need that, then one of other models would likely be more appropritae.

This is a great set of gaming headphones. There is zero audio lag on my PC and pairing is super fast. The included 7.1 surround sound is basic and the built in Windows Sonic does a better job. The sound quality is solid and a huge upgrade from my $50 headphones.
These headphones are comfortable and the ear pads are replaceable. They do get a little hot, but overall are very easy to wear for several hours.
The durability of these headphones is disappointing. They fell off my desk (3 foot drop to concrete) and broke at one of the hinges. Now they are no longer usable. They should have used metal for that part. I’ve dropped my $10 headset dozens of times over the year and it never broke.
If you have a carpeted floor then don’t worry about it.

Works great!
I recently got a similiar headset for my PC and decided to get another for his Xbox as a result.
He was able to easily pair this again to his phone and of course his Xbox so no more wire hanging out of his controller. This headset is very light weight so that is also a plus when gaming for a while.
We have not tried it out on the Nintendo switch 2 and will update the review once we have. Definitely well worth its price!
Pros:
Low latency
Comfortable design
Great Audio Quality
Good price point
Cons:
Setup took a little bit of time between getting it to connect to both sources
Does not have active noise cancellation and sometimes picks up my ceiling fan on the mic as well
Mil
It has good quality and a reliable range. The sound is soft with effective noise canceling. Since it works with USB-C, it’s easy to connect to a PC, phone, or other compatible devices. Both the microphone and speaker quality are good, but the only drawback is that the speaker’s range isn’t very flexible. Overall, it still offers good quality.
Rin's Reviews
Im not sure why people said v3 mic is worse, but for mine experience it sounds better with v2 with voice echo in headset (adjustable).
When I try v2 mic, people can't hear me with too much back ground noice pick up, but with v3, seems like there weren't issues at all.
Pros:
-high speed USB type c connectivity
-Plut and play
-other mode to connect like bluetooth
-7.1 surround sound
-Long duration of battery life, I was able to use for 2 days gaming and still have battery
-Detachable mic
-great comfort with the head pad cushion
Cons:
-wish the headset is easier to adjust the headband, its stuff and hard to adjust, but it's not a deal breaker
-I like v2 volume adjust button compare with the wheel because it's very sensitive when I press the mute button from the wheel by accident
Overall, the price point is perfect for its quality and use case, I totally recommend for any platform gamer.

Audio quality is pretty good. Coming from a nice pair of open backs the sound isolation and bass are good.
Surround sound is decent.
Mic quality is really good.
Mic has voice passthrough which is okay but can be annoying, not sure if there is a way to disable it.
Headset is light but still gets hot on your head.
Bluetooth pairing was easy. 2.4 GHz worked instantly, switching between the 2 with a single push of the power button.
Did not get a chance to check the Razer Synapse software. So not sure what kind of tweaks can be made there

Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox: 50mm Drivers - Cardioid Mic - 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, USB - Works with PC, Mac, PS5, Nintendo Switch - Long Battery Life - Black
Just for notes, I have all the Blackshark line from::

Blackshark Non-Pro v2
Blackshark Pro v2
Blackshark Non-Pro v3 (this one)
That gives me a unique insight to these headsets and I can say Razer has made great iterative improvements to these headsets over the years. One of the biggest changes is audio and spatial audio. These are some of the best headsets for tracking spatial audio out there for things like FPS - short of really high quality IEMs. Going from the v1 to the v3's of these you can drastically tell how they improved in the audio perspective. But what I can't get over is the downgrade in the microphone quality. Honestly Razer was picked on a bit for the v1's as they didn't have the greatest microphone but they were functional. The v2's came out with a tremendous microphone that I specifically bought them for while I was teaching and moving around the room. Now come the v3's and my students are asking me if I am talking to them through a tin can. They just severely downgraded this microphone. Now you can repair some of it through Synapse but every time I log into Synapse, it defaults back to the basics and I'm right back where I started (that is the software problem not the headset).
The ear cups, bands and speakers are all overall generational improvements for these headphones. They are super comfy even for long sessions - though they do tend to get quite warm for extended play sessions.
But again, I cannot get over the downgrade in the microphone. I did test putting the v2 microphone on the v3 and magically it sounds so much better - that being said it does not stay completely attached so there is that.
Final verdict - if you don't have a set of 'gaming' headphones - the v3's for the XBOX are a solid pick up and if you know how to tweak things in Synapse - you'll get a great product out of them. If you have already a high quality pair of IEM's or maybe the v2's - maybe skip this generation. For the quality, usually these cannot be beat but this time they were beat by their previous iteration.
Also between the non-Pro's and the Pro's - JUST GET THE NON-PRO'S - they are a great value for the money and you will enjoy them.

I'm super happy to have these headphones, and definitely recommend them. I've wanted nice Bluetooth headphones for a while and have tried both generic and branded pairs. They've 'worked', but either haven't been comfortable or had good sound, and only just reinforced that I wanted *good* wireless headphones. These Razer BlackShark are definitely good headphones for me.
The fit is very comfortable and while they aren't noise cancelling, the memory foam padding provides a nice seal and cuts down on external noise significantly. I wear glasses and the ear cups are large enough to fit around them and not push them forward, which is what usually happens to me with over the ear headphones. My ears do get moderately warm after a couple of hours, but not more uncomfortable than other pairs I have. The headband is soft on the crown of my head, which is a big change from the MS pair I have that are about the same price as these.
The sound is a vast improvement for me as well, though I have hearing loss and so can't talk about fidelity, etc. - I just really like how they sound. That said, the range is really impressive and I've been enjoying both gaming and music a lot more with them. Ambient sounds in a game like Diablo 4 are much more balanced and noticeable, while big roars in something like World of Warships sound positively cinematic to me. The reduced external noise makes it much more enjoyable to listen to something like a soundtrack and really enjoy more of the performance.
Overall, these are the headphones I'd been looking for, and definitely upgraded my gaming and music experience.
Michael Black
The Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox is a great gaming headset that only weighs 270G which is an ultra-lightweight gaming headset. Along with the plush earcups it means you can game all day long in comfort. I play Baldur's Gate 3 and we game for several hours at a minimum and they feel great the whole time.
This headset is part of their Hyperspeed Wireless line which means low latency audio connections. I really like that it comes with their Triforce Titanium 50mm Gen-2 drivers, which means better base and overall frequency response. It will help you hear those footsteps and combines with the 7.1.4 surround sound you can unlock on the PC means you can tell where they are coming from. You also get upgraded audio when using them with an Xbox console.
Another of my favorite aspects is the tri-mode of connectivity. You can connect them wired (and not have to worry about battery life at all) or you can connect them via Bluetooth (for the longest battery life) or you can connect them via 2.4 Ghz Hyperspeed connection which will get you the low latency connection. I like having the chocies. It also comes with a removable 9.9MM microphone which has a unidirectional pickup pattern which means more voice and less noise. Being able to remove ther mic is an added bonus in case you want to use them as an audio headset to listen to music (trhe 50MM drivers really sound great listening to music).
Even though it states it is for Xbox, it will work on any console including a PC (desktop or laptop), a Mac, a PS5, a Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 or a smartphone. If you have any of these and are looking for a new gaming headset, I can highly recommend the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed Wireless Gaming Headset for Xbox!
Tips Trove
This easy-to-use headset delivers not only on comfort but also on sound and microphone quality.
Upon unboxing, pairing the headset with a device is quick and straightforward. It includes a USB-C dongle for a 2.4GHz wireless connection, but you can also use Bluetooth if preferred. Connecting it to my computer with the dongle was seamless, and the included cables are of good quality. The headset adjusts easily for a comfortable fit, and the memory foam cushions are exceptionally soft. Even after wearing it for several hours, I experienced no discomfort around my ears.
The sound quality is solid, but what really impressed me was the microphone. It produces clear, accurate voice reproduction, making it excellent for communication.
However, considering the Razer branding and the overall build and performance, the pricing feels justified. While the design sticks to Razer’s familiar style without breaking new ground, it delivers exactly what you’d expect from a premium headset.
Overall, whether it’s the audio, microphone, ear cups, or battery life, every aspect reflects the quality associated with this brand. This is a headset built to last for years to come.
