Melted motor

Motor started melting and stopped working. We could smell the stench throughout the house. I would not recommend to buy as the product could start an electrical fire.

It's quiet!

I love this fan. It's the thrd REIGA ceiling fan i've purchased; one for the den, one in the living room, and one in a bedroom. It is sleek, elegant, and very very quiet. I've never had to use it beyond the 2 setting and that moves the air confortably. The quality is apparent in its design and the fact it has a DC motor. The remote is simple and easy to use. The veins are of a durable plastic which makes the fan light. And speaking of light, you have a choice of three modes. All in all I recommend this fan to anyone looking for an attractive, contemporary and reliable fan.

Terrible/non-existent customer service

Terrible/non-existent customer service. Website has a contact page but will not submit your request. Gives you an error message. End user pushed between two companies with no solution. Simple ask for replacement part but no help in getting it done. Wouldn’t recommend this company, just another proxy not set up to troubleshoot customer service. We have not had an operating fan for over a year now and cannot find a good replacement unless we cut quick connectors and hardwire into another receiver module which homeowners should not have to do.

Great-looking design and function; bargain price from a trustworthy seller

I purchase a home in 2024 that had one of these fans already installed. I liked it fine, so bought a couple of additional ones to replace other fixtures. These are attractive, quiet, move air well, and have good illumination with the range of color grades anyone would naturally want. We have them installed in two bedrooms and an open-concept kitchen. They are a good size for any typical bedroom or medium-sized kitchen.

We installed these onto existing mounts and not being particularly handy, struggled at first, but after we made an amateur mistake, the installation went smoothly and was not challenging. The mounting process also went well after we made some minor adjustments to the existing hardware. I'm not sure if anyone else struggled with the flexible mounting pad to help seat the top cap against the ceiling, but that was the only thing we had any problem with -- again, likely because of the way our existing hardware was installed. We worked around it by cutting into the surface some and then adhering the lip to the outside of the cup at the end of the installation process.

After about a year of these fans working great, the one in the kitchen stopped working -- it appears the remote receiver got fried somehow, possibly through a power surge but tbh we aren't sure. When I could not find an after-market replacement, the seller/manufacturer was INCREDIBLY HELPFUL in emailing me back after I reached out, agreeing with my diagnosis, and shipping a replacement receiver and remote at no cost.

Excellent quality and excellent customer service!!

What can I say the company that makes this stands behind the product? I ordered the fan and when it came, I had a handyman install it. There was a problem. The fan could not be installed on the vaulted ceiling I have. I contacted the manufacturer and after sending several variations of the parts that were needed I might add three times we got it to work. I was so impressed with Hong that gave 1000% customer service. He was so patient and very kind. I absolutely love my fan. I use Alexa to turn off and on control the speeds through Alexa and also the light through Alexa. I absolutely love it and will be buying more for my bedrooms. I do recommend if you have vaulted ceiling to contact the company first it would’ve saved me a lot of time if I had.

Defective fan and no response from seller

We bought two of these ceiling fans on June 20. Unfortunately for us, although we found one of them working perfectly, the other one shakes noticeably and at higher speeds becomes so wobbly it feels unsafe to be near. Sometimes it even jerks and briefly stops mid-rotation, which is very concerning.

Our contractor confirmed the issue is with the fan itself, after we dismounted it and reinstalled it. We immediately emailed the seller through their website, but have still received no response.

We are now stuck with a defective fan and no support. I’m leaving this review in the hope that the seller will respond and offer a replacement or a solution. A video is attached showing how unstable the fan is if it is defective. If the seller resolves this issue, I will gladly update this review. Until then, I cannot recommend this product due to both the defect and the lack of customer service.

edit: Reiga got back to us and was super kind and helpful. They sent out a replacement fan right away, and everything went smoothly. Really appreciate how quickly they took care of it!

The best fan ever!

An excellent fan! It has six speeds and different lighting options. It's very energy-efficient. Ideal for those with solar panel systems. I love this product! I like it so much that I bought it in three colors: brown, black, and natural wood.

Not the best instructions for a DIY'er

Decent product for the price anyhow. Installation wasn't as easy as it could have been if the wiring instructions were better displayed. We all have various wiring and even what is in the book isn't very helpful. It's import to note thst you cannot reach them directly with questions. If you have wires like these, this is the proper way to wire and the red one is to be capped off. Also not mentioned anywhere is the black rubber pad and where it goes. It's kinda obvious, but I followed step by step and that wasn't a step or even on the product list. Also note you will need a tiny flathead to unscrew those 3 spots to slide your wires in. The one thing I had to also learn (and nothing to do with the fan or instructions), is my new bracket didn't fit on the Ceiling junction box, I had to Google a fix and there are adapters which I had to go purchase and install.

Second Reiga Fan Purchased with complete satisfaction

Reiga fans are the quietest fans I have installed. This is my second Reiga fan. Adding one in my office because the fan in my bedroom moves a lot of air, is easy to install, and QUIET! The remotes do it all even change directions without having to climb up and flip a switch. I contacted customer service for a replacement of a broken light cover. They responded quickly and with a few simple pics they are sending me the replacement at no charge. Highly recommend Reiga fans

Happy With This Purchase! Quiet and Effective Fan!

The things I like most about this fan are 1) It is super quiet running 2) It can move a lot of air if you want it to and 3) The light color and brightness options.

I replaced an older fan that made annoying noise as it ran, this one is totally silent. There is one thing that is a minor negative, when you turn it on it makes and audible "click" from the fan. But that is really being nit-picky.

I had no trouble with the installation. I especially like the way the power and ground wires have screw in connections instead of wire nuts.

The fan looks really modern and cool, and I have received many complements on it. I am very pleased with this purchase and would buy it again for sure!

Completely silent; gold color is luxurious

I received this fan as a gift and I'm impressed. It makes no sound at all when the fan is on, outside of a small knocking sound when it first starts up. The gold color is luxurious looking, not cheap. Installation was a bit tricky, but it could be because we'd never installed a fan before. The light has 3 temperature settings and can be dimmed which is great for a bedroom.

A Great Fan with One Quirky Exception

I recently installed this ceiling fan and overall, I'm very pleased with its performance. The fan is easy to install, and the bright light with a dim feature is a great bonus. The air speed is good, and it circulates the air effectively.

However, there's one peculiar issue - when I turn it on, it makes a weird noise. At first, I thought it was a defect, but according to the manufacturer, this is by design! I find it hard to believe, as I've never come across a fan that makes a sound like that when turned on. Despite this initial noise, the fan works fine once it's running.

If you're looking for a great fan with good airflow and lighting, this might be the one for you. Just be aware of the unusual startup noise. I'm hoping the manufacturer will address this in future designs.

Pros: Easy installation, bright light with dim feature, good air speed

Cons: Weird noise when turned on (though it works fine afterwards)

Uploading a short video of the noise for your reference.

Sleek and Functional

This REIGA low profile ceiling fan has excellent features. Love having the remote control, and this fan also hugs the ceiling which is great for our second level bedroom. This fan has wonderful air flow and it quiet. My husband had a little challenge to install it, but nothing horrible. I love that it is dimmable, and the style is fresh and modern, but won't look dated in a few years. This fan has both form and function and it's lovely. Extra kudos that it has 6 speeds rather than just 3!

Great fan that is exactly as advertised

The Reiga fan I received and installed is very handsome and contemporary. It is quiet even at top speed and has a timer that allows an automatic shutoff in 3 to 8 hours so you don't have to run it all the time. It also has memory so if the power is off (a wall switch perhaps) and turned on it has the same settings. The remote is automatically paired so no problem there. Light is as advertised with various levels of brightness and color. The installation is more difficult than I anticipated and could be simplified but it is manageable for a handyman. All the parts do fit together easily once identified.

Best fan

The 3 52” white fans which we purchased were just installed last week. They are so clean looking, great lines and bright white. We are very pleased with the light choices, including dimming. The fan’s six settings give a wide range of options from slow to super fast. For those of us who don’t care for a fan blowing directly on us but appreciate air movement in the room, it’s easy to reverse the fan to pull air up and across the room. The main reason we replaced our previous fans is because they had pull chains and sometimes one was broken after a visit from the grandchildren. We’ll have to tell them to wait a moment or two after the fan or light is turned on before they see the light come on or the fan turn. The delay is strange but I guess it’s worth it to have such quiet fans. We mounted the remote on the wall, in hopes of not losing it. It’s very easy to use from the mounted position.

My first Reiga Ceiling Fan Installation

The assembly of the Reiga Ceiling Fan was pretty much straight forward. The installation part was also straight forward. Pairing the remote was easy and downloading the app for the phone and connecting it threw WiFi was easy as well. The breeze from the fan is excellent. Even at the lowest speed the breeze is strong. Anyone can install this beautiful ceiling fan even with a little knowledge of electrical works and your a handy person you got this..

Eric Mars

Let fashion to be more simple!!! Heck yeah!!!!

So, let’s just admit they saved money by using Google Translate for the installation manual & packaging instead of hiring a native English speaker to translate. Fortunately, there are videos on You Tube to decipher the installation instructions. What we must give credit to Reiga for, is bringing these DC Motor (30% of the juice of AC fans) fans, with great designs, and fantastic build quality to market at half the price of Minka Aire. I have installed about a zillion ceiling fans in my 60 years. Including a 50 lb antique Emerson from the 1920’s. Installing a ceiling fan has basically been unchanged since the 1920’s. But Reiga has rethought the process from the ground up, and it works. For example, instead of giving you a grab bag of screws and a chart to figure out where they go, these fans have the screws in place. You simply take them out and put them back in. Brilliant! So, I bought the black/gold because I wanted the App & Alexa compatibility. And you need to know: Smart Home stuff is NOT for dumb home people. But pairing it with the Smart Life App was pretty easy, but you have to translate “blinks” to “beeps”. And then adding the Alexa Smart Life skill was breathtakingly easy. Long story short, forgive the Chinglish. These fans are well built, aesthetically pleasing (the gold is NOT tacky, it’s muted, somewhere between shiny brass and gold. And you could paint it over if you want.) My only hitch: I had it all hooked up, the light was working but not the fan. I re-paired the remote with the fan (instructions said hold down 6hr button, but I only had 8 hr button, so did that) and it came to life. Proud of these kids, truly the next generation in energy efficient cooling.

Helpful Hints:

Light Kit Finish: I bought a 3rd one for the bathroom. Gold wasn’t the right finish, but for now, they only sell the black and gold version with Smart Life and Alexa features. Solution was fine grain sandpaper (800 or higher) to remove the gold finish from the light kit, and chrome polish for shine. The metal is good quality. You can see my hacked “black and silver” version in the 2nd pic. Also, to remove the Reiga label you just need to cut the double sided tape. Then use WD40 to rid of the tape & glue residue.

Pairing the Remote: On my first fan, the remote would control the light, but not the fan motor. Following the instructions to pair the remote fixed this. The other 2 fans did not have this problem, the remotes worked perfectly out of the box.

Adding to Smart LIfe: I can see why they are starting with just model. This can be finicky. I am a smart home addict so I powered thru it, here are my hints. #1 Once you get it added to Smart Life you are home free. The integration with Alexa is flawless. That said… Fan #1 I just followed the steps and it all worked. Fan #2 I tried over an over and no luck. So I turned off the 5ghz radio on my wireless. Still did not work. After that, I cut power to the fan (in my case, they aren’t switched so this meant keeping the ladder up and removing one of the power lines from the harness and then putting it back.) After that, paired immediately. Fan #3, did not pair initially either. So, turned off 5ghz, reset power to fan, and then started “add” process in app and it worked. I am not sure if turning off 5ghz in the router was the solution (which might be a bit advanced for some folks) or if starting the paring process right after connection to power is the fix. Someone should try just resetting the power and advise. One other thing to note - the Smart Life app will ask if the accessory you are adding is “blinking slow” or “blinking fast”. In fact, the fan does not blink, it beeps. And it beeps fast, so pick that one.

Great Product!!!

Amazing fan! Great speed and air-flow. Highly recommend it if you are looking to get a fan in a home without A/C for the summer months! Hooking it up was a little challenging but totally worth it. At the highest speed the motor gets louder compared to the other 5-speeds but it’s barely noticeable. Totally worth it!!

Nice Fan

It looks good and puts out a lot of air. It’s very quiet once we adjusted the top canopy.

Remote works well with the wall switch. Company is very attentive to any issues. Hoping it works for the long haul.

Amazing fan! Color “Maple” a little off.

Pros:

• Air Circulation. This fan packs a punch!!! Even the lowest setting cools us plenty and noise level is low in comparison to the speed and airflow.

• Remote. Works perfectly and is pretty easy to read. It comes with a wall attachment, which is great if you are one to lose remotes like we do. It slides in and out of the holder easily. Several options for the light including a timer.

• Style. The design is awesome! Sleek and modern and gets lots of complements!

• Price. EXCELLENT! I did a lot of research on this style fan and could not find anything comparable in this price range.

Definitely worth purchasing.

Cons:

• Color MAPLE. I bought the color “maple”and it doesn't look much like the photo. It looks an unnatural orange/yellow. I’m planning on wiping on a light layer of dark stain. From doing a little research, it should dry and hold. I will update this post after applied.

• Installation. My husband said this fan was the most time consuming he has ever installed and he has installed many. That said, he successfully installed it and was able to follow the directions. So if you are a little patient, you should have no trouble. ;-)

Absolutely Blown Away by this Smart Fan!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Blown Away by this Smart Fan!

I recently purchased the Reiga 52'' Bright White Ceiling Fan for my living room, and I am absolutely thrilled with it! This fan truly exceeds expectations in every way, earning a solid 5 stars from me.

First off, the modern style and bright white finish are exactly what I was looking for. It blends seamlessly with my decor and adds a touch of sleek sophistication to the room. The combination of metal, ABS, and acrylic materials feels very high-quality and durable.

Installation was surprisingly easy to install. The included 6 and 10-inch downrods gave me options for my ceiling height, and the quick connect ports really streamlined the process. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making it a hassle-free setup.

What truly sets this fan apart are its smart features. Being able to control it via remote, voice (Alexa integration is fantastic!), or the app is incredibly convenient. I love being able to adjust the settings without having to get up, and the voice commands are responsive and accurate.

The dimmable LED light is another huge win. With three color temperatures (3000K-5700K) and 1%-100% brightness control, I can create the perfect ambiance for any occasion. The light memory function is a thoughtful touch – it remembers my last setting, which is super handy.

Finally, the reversible DC motor is fantastic. It's incredibly quiet, which is a major plus, especially in a living room where you want to relax. The ability to reverse the rotation with the remote for year-round comfort is brilliant, helping to distribute air efficiently whether I need cooling or just better air circulation. The high airflow is noticeable and effective.

The fact that it's an indoor and patio ceiling fan (ETL Certified & IP44) also speaks to its versatility and quality, even though I'm currently using it indoors.

Overall, if you're looking for a modern, smart, and highly functional ceiling fan, look no further. The Reiga 52'' Bright White fan is an absolute winner. Highly recommended!

Very unique with nice features

The wood look (Maple?) I chose to try to blend into ceiling as most fans are not really for looks. The colors remind me of 50’s style furniture but I like how it blends into our ceiling. It also looks a bit like aircraft props and since the hubs is a pilot, that works for us. It is very quiet! Only sound you’ll hear is the wind if you have it on high. This went into new construction so we already had an electrician out for everything. He did comment that this was the most difficult fan to install because of screws being on top and bottom.

But what I really don’t like AT ALL is the permanent brand label affixed to it. So tacky! They must be pretty darn proud of their product but if I saw their “advertisement” in someone else’s home, I’d be sure NOT to buy it for this reason. However, it is hung and the features are nice so I guess I’ll live with their tag.

Looks great, awful installation process

Overall I think the looks and function of this fan is great!

However be warned that the instructions can be lacking.

I managed to install mine on a sloped ceiling, but that came with its own challenges. Since the base cover is not designed for sloped ceiling. You will need to use a metal plier of some sort to trim the edge so it can sit flush to the ceiling.

One tip as it wasn't clearly stated instructions, make sure you don't run your wires through the middle hole of the base plate but rather go around it. This is to allow as much space as possible for your big receiver to be wedged in between the base plate.

Remote control is great, it has 5 fan settings (first 2 settings are silent, more noise starting with 3 but is expected). You can change the light color by turning it off and on multiple times, which is counterintuitive but works fine.

Dual fans for Texas weather/patio

We love the style of this fan. For three blades, we were iffy on the strength. But it was pretty strong! Even better with two. We have a vaulted patio roof (12x20) and we used the 10" downrod and it was still plenty of head space (~10').

All major parts, besides the body motor, is made of plastic material and the design is an easily scratchable paint. We were careful needless to say. The fan overall was light weight considering its heavier motor body. If the blades end up scratched or discolored down the road, we might paint it another color.

The remote is fun but we wish there was a dimmer setting to each of the three light settings. The 3 light settings with different hues are still bright, more so with 2 installed fans. We dont hate it, but wow, its bright. Dimmer would be nice. Since our fans aren't operable by switches, the remote came in handy. A pretty big downside is that we cant figure out how to program both fans to one remote. It's not your typical fan remote with the switches in the reciever and remote.

Another downside: since we do have vaulted ceilings, the hanger bracket and receiver is a bit tight for vaulted. And I wish the covering/canopy for the bracket and wires was cut wide enough to angle it so the downrod has enough room. See pictures.

If installed correctly, the fans are not loud, but you can hear the wind it produces on high.if installed incorrectly, you'll hear squeaks and rubs, which I need to fix on one them.

Great product. Looks amazing.

Great Fan

This was my first ceiling fan to install and it wasn't difficult at all. When I opened up the box and noticed the blades are plastic, that threw me off a little bit and I thought this was going to be a horrible fan. I was wrong. It's quiet and pushes a tremendous amount of air around and is extremely quiet. I keep it on one or two (out of six) since it does a great job, even with using the shorter of the two downrods it comes with. I'm impressed. Not sure if it's worth the money I spent on it but I don't know that much about fans and this one was the only one I could find that looked really nice in my home office.

The light kit it comes with, as others have mentioned, is pretty lowsy. It has three settings as mentioned in the description but none of them are very bright, at least not for me, especially since my old fan had four lights on it. However, I rarely use the light as the large window provides the majority of my luminescence during the day.

I have to add, the customer service was pretty good, too. The first fan I received was the wrong color and they shipped out another one immediately and it got here two days later.

Excellent fan I recommend it!

It is an excellent looking and working fan with light! The light is bright and whisper quiet fan that went into our toddlers bedroom. It makes a beep when on ( nothing annoying, just to let you know it got a commons) it’s airflow ( and that’s really the most important part of the fan is something like 5 1/2 thousand per minute ( cfu I believe) it’s not too modern and not too retro looking. Very happy! 😃

Good fan with room for improvements

The ceiling fan looks good on the ceiling and overall was not too difficult to install.

I have 9' ceilings, so I used the 6" down rod. One issue with when using the 6" down rod is that the height of the canopy, canopy lock, and coupling cover is about 6", so that when installing, it too difficult to make the wire connections with the down rod hanging in the hanger bracket. I used a 6' ladder with three five gallon buckets nested in each other to support the fan with out the down rod in the hanger bracket. I was able to make the connects and then slide the down rod into the hanger bracket. IF you have 10' ceilings, use the 10" down rod, and you will have plenty of space when the down rod is in the hanger bracket yo make the connections.

Another big issue for me is that the light turns on whenever power is supplied to the fan after the power has been off for a few seconds. So, if you have a wall switch that switches the power on and off, and you turn off the fan, no matter what setting your light was previously, it will turn on when you turn on the power. This also means that when you put your kid to bed, and have a brief power outage, the light will turn on during the night, probably waking your kid.

Another issue is the light kit. This light puts out 2,200 lm ( a typical bulb/can light will put out between 600-900 lm). So this thing is bright. Furthermore, the light is appears to be composed of 3000k, 4000k and 6000k LEDs, making the combined light very daylight-like (~5000k). I've disconnected the light kits while i look for a light kit of around 3000k.

Install tip: Since i read in one of the comments someone was having trouble shoving the remote control receiver into the canopy, it is better and easier to store it in the hanger bracket as shown in the last image.
