Deep, Accurate, Home Theater Bass That You Can Feel

I had twin REL HT/1003 subwoofers, which together cost less than the Predator, even when I got the Predator on sale, but if the name “Predator” sounds ominous…well, this thing…at even the lowest volumes brings a deeply (pun intended) satisfying audio extension to anything your home theater or music system performs. Watching the original Jack Reacher movies…I FELT the gunshots from the high caliber weapons and the explosions were even more intense, but what I found myself appreciating even more was the musicality of the sound score. The slowly building, ominous and foreboding sounds…barely audible at first, but the bass was there…the deepest yet delicate rumbling…building up to room pressurizing crescendo! I’m using it in a 5.1 system in a 16 x 19 master bedroom for the moment but will be using it to anchor the main system in the living area as soon as I get the rest of the components. At $1,799, on sale, this was well worth the spend…and when asked why I spent that much, I never answer. I let the Predator do the talking…and everyone understands the moment the hear and FEEL it! The look…love the Baby Grand black lacquer finish on top as well as the satin black cabinet with rounded corners, the sound quality, the power and subtlety on demand…recommend 10/10! I can’t speak to reliability yet, but if it’s anything like my HT/1003s I’ve had them for a year with no issues. I expect the same with this one, and will report back if reliability issues arise.

PS… You may want to pad or dampen anything that can resonate or rattle that you don’t want to hear from…I had to open some doors a half inch so the latches wouldn’t rattle. 😂

Blown away!

I had a SVS SB-3000 which I think is a great subwoofer but I could never get the bass I wanted.

I have Klipsch Cornwall IV speakers and because the CWs are so dang efficient, the SVS just could not keep up. Maybe it was me or my room. Don’t know and I don’t blame the SVS. I saw a video on YT about this REL 1510 and how it was a great match for Klipsch Cornwalls speakers.

Now I am finally getting that deep tight bass in the bottom octaves. It took me maybe 10 minutes to setup. I am stoked! My CWs never sounded so good!

I want another one now!
