Great video quality and voice. I had to run that wire from the 110v outlet to the camera along the wall, drill through the wall and use some grommets, but it was simple, and the 3 wires were easy to connect to the camera. Before mounting, I used the phone app to set up the camera to the router, once it was verified to be working, I finished the install to my wall.
It is a great camera, I plan on adding one or two more, but I will be going with the solar version as I do not have any more outlets to plug them into.
App works great, when you open it, the video comes up almost instantly, and you can pan the camera around from your phone. I plan on using a memory card plugged into the camera for recording, but that is another $100-150 expense to be able to record. I got the camera on prime day for $169, if you want to record, you're looking at 300+, camera and memory card.

If you want to see your videos quickly on your micro sd, good luck. It’s a toss up.
If you want to see your videos on your micro sd, good luck. I bought this one to replace a different version that I couldn’t angle far enough down on my front patio. I was getting way too much of the road and neighbor’s
house across the street so I thought this would help fix that. I was only forced to keep the other one because I missed the return window.
I don’t want anything that I have to have a subscription monthly to see my videos. That’s why I picked Reolink. I put a 512 GB microSD card in, it’s been up a day and a half and for the last 30 minutes, no matter how much I refresh the app and close it out and open it etc it won’t pull up any of my motion clips. It’s a huge pain. The older version would do that too, but as long as you close the app out fully and reopened it, you could then view your stuff. A pain and annoying but…. It worked. Not now. You have to constantly fully close the app just to refresh it to see live too sometimes. Then it will basically auto recalibrated itself. Which just takes up time when I’m trying to see live video… this is annoying camera. My app and the software are up to date and I have a less than - year old new smart phone. Nothing should be this difficult to see my stuff, I eventually was able to load stuff halfway into the next day.
Edit before even published - it didn’t save 5 hours worth of motion today. I went to the store and had notifications for multiple things between these hours and clips and yet…. Nothing saved. This is ridiculous. I was going to keep and hope the bugs worked out for other things but this is unacceptable to have so many issues with seeing my footage.

Near ideal security and nature cam
Makes for a great nature cam. I've had Reolink cameras for many years now and I'm glad they give the option to keep your information private by default. There's a lot of features to like for a residential-grade camera. My only complaint it how difficult it can be to initialize. Don't use your computer to supply power, use a power brick and keep your VPN off to make the initial setup easier. Once it's setup and on Wi-Fi, the VPN isn't a problem.

Nice Upgrade
I recently bought the Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight 4K to replace an older Eufy Floodlight Pro camera and I must say that I’m quite impressed. The dual lens with 4K capability and simultaneous hybrid zoom works really well. There’s significantly more settings in the RL than the Eufy, but it does allow for more customization of the installation. I’m also glad for the dual band WiFi capability (both 2.4 and 5GHZ). My camera is mounted on the front of my home facing the street and the motion detection is very sensitive but perhaps a little too sensitive. I’ve turned down the motion sensitivity and setup a “non-detection” zone, but I still receive a lot of motion detection alerts from this zone. It’s a minor annoyance but overall, the RL is a huge upgrade from the Eufy and I’m quite pleased with my purchase.

Best Reolink camera out there!
I have almost 2 dozen models of different Reolink cameras, and I can say this is one is my favorite. I was blown away with Reolink's innovative approach of including 270 degrees of passive IR (PIR) sensors along with a motion tracking Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera. With the PIR sensors it gave Reolink the ability to detect motion even when it is outside the field of view, and then rotate the camera to track the motion. All of my other Reolink cameras that have PTZ are dependent on the motion being within it's field of view which can be a limiting factor at times. This was the perfect blend of features for my use case as I installed the camera on the corner of my garage and now I can focus the camera on the driveway, but if there is motion on the sides it will automatically rotate.
The overall video quality of this camera is also top notch. With dual 4K lenses it allows the camera to keep a wide angle view and zoom in with the other lens giving you higher clarity of each motion event. I included pictures from day, night, and night with flood lights on so you can tell for yourself. Along with the higher resolution, this camera also moves very smoothly and quickly. There is no choppiness to the movement and everything is very fluid.
Since this camera is a wifi camera it makes it very easy to replace an existing hard-wired flood light, however you still need to make sure the wifi access point is within range. For my installation I already had an access point in my garage so there was no problem with wifi connectivity.
The floodlight on this camera is also very bright, and I like that I can easily change the color spectrum of the lights. My previous hard-wired floodlight was a little brighter, but it had very large high powered LED bulbs in it. After having this light installed for a few months I do not even notice the lower light level and there is plenty of light for me.
Overall I cannot say enough good things about this camera. I was a little concerned this camera would look funny hanging from my soffit, however I think it blends in fairly well and any cosmetic concerns went out the window when I experienced the clarity, features, and overall benefits of this camera.

It's not built like it's brother track mix Wi-Fi
This is a downgrade from the track mix Wi-Fi this one does not come in as good as the track mix Wi-Fi I have five of the track mix Wi-Fi and two track Flex floodlight Wi-Fi and it's a huge difference between the two I don't know what happened but first off this one is made out of plastic where the Wi-Fi track mix is made out of metal and the cameras look more Stout than the track Flex flood light cameras when viewing the track Flex cameras on the optical zoom it's not as good as the optical zoom on the track mix Wi-Fi and they both have the exact same cameras and I don't understand why this is happening unless they are using a cheaper camera because it's a world of difference so I'm setting up the return it's unfortunate but the track mix Wi-Fi is built like a tank where thr track Flex is built like a plastic bag 🎒 also I have it connected to the home hub Pro and that's a mistake a home hub Pro don't work very good at all so I'll be returning that as well

Really nice camera.. Has it's quirks, but would definitely recommend..
This camera had a few quirks when I set it up, but to be fair, I was mostly interested in getting it working with Home Assistant AND Ubiquity Protect. I did get both running, and doing great now, but just be aware that you can't do any streaming via web while it's plugged in with the USB for temporary power/setup. In fact, you can't log into the web server with USB power, so just get it configured for your WiFi, then install it, and it'll be fine. I am attaching a live screenshot from my Home Assistant / Frigate config, where it does expose all of it's motion and AI features to me so I can trigger automations in Home Assistant. I am also including 2 quick video captures from it, once from night, when we caught a little visitor (Possum) so you can see how good the lights work at night, and then another video from later that morning when it found, and followed a neighbor's cat as they walked through my yard. It would only let me upload one video, so I concatenated them into one MP4 file. These videos were both captured internally to the camera without anything added. I downloaded them from the SD card using the Reolink Windows app. I was also able to get the camera recognized into Ubiquity Protect, although in Protect, I dont have any of the "AI recognitions", but that's a Ubiquity limitation, not the fault of the camera. So far, I am so happy with the camera I have ordered 2 more.

Amazing camera!
I use several different cameras around my property and I added this one to an area behind the barn where we've had predator issues. The AI animal tracking and programmable guard position are very useful for this. I added a high endurance 64gb microSD card and set the camera to always record. The video playback is easily searchable with motion indicated. Each 5 minute video segment made can be scanned using the scroll bar on the camera screen. As a "don't read the manual and figure it out" sort of guy, this was pretty easy to stumble upon. Viewing the feed from the Reolink app is quite easy and the stream connects very quickly, audio as well.
I mounted the camera to a frequented gate and wired it to a weatherproof box. It is behind the barn to ensure less direct sunlight in the lens. The light works great and is very bright at night. When I make my rounds, it lights the back area well enough for me to get around the barn to the next light.
For Home Assistant users, the Reolink HA integration offers more features than I've seen using my other cameras. Everything from PTZ movements to adjusting the motion sensitivity by type (animal, person, vehicle) can be done from the integration. This allows you to create a custom dashboard for viewing and control very quickly.

there plenty of room for improvement. but it still pretty OK
UPDATE 2: Well that was fast. moved my stars to 4 stars. not sure if it was my suggestion or if it was in the works all along but Reolink has made the presets available in Home Assistant which is a game changer in controlling the PTZ based on time or whatever you desire. IF only Ubiquiti would do this. Now once Reolink do something with the Privacy Mask and Non Detection zone once the out of view detection or preset view changes this camera will be hard to beat. I will try to figure something out with Line crossing and HA so I can turn off the privacy and non detection zone and use the preset through HA once triggered so I'm not feeling like I'm spying on my neighbor.
UPDATE: Reolink responded to my feedback and stated that this camera is only recommended to be installed. 6' to 10' high. So basically at porch light height and not floodlight height and not for anyone with existing floodlights on a 2 story house. Even though one of the pictures in the listing shows the camera up high. Now sure you can use it at porch light height but at 6' this will be easy for someone to take or manipulate since they use basic phillips head screws and NO security screws or locks to mount. So 3 stars are warranted. I included images of what happens with privacy mask and non detect zones when out of view detection is activated and you use those features. Also camera does rotate 90° now.
I installed it under my eaves 20' in the air on a ladder and contrary to some of the other reviews it was pretty for me. I use wagos and not the weird terminal they have in the mounting bracket. The wires on the camera are too short but using wagos made it a non issue. the setup was easy in the app. I haven't notices in lag in unifi protect outside the normal unifi issues. The video quality is not the best 4k image but it is a good picture. I found tracking to be smoother by changing it to PTZ tracking first and that made it 90%+ accurate with people tracking. I don't track animals or cars. Camera was added to unifi protect using an AI port but it did not show up without it. be that could be just my setup. Now here are my issue and suggestions that would make this a 5 star rating if they were fixed but the reason for the 3 and a half stars. I also sent this to Reolink
A functional limitation with the TrackFlex WiFi Floodlight that appears to stem from how several features interact in the firmware.
The issue involves the interaction between:
• Out of View Detection
• Privacy Mask
• Non-Detection Zones
• PTZ movement
Currently, Privacy Masks and Non-Detection Zones move with the PTZ position. While this behavior makes sense for a static camera, it creates a conflict for PTZ operation. When Out of View Detection triggers and the camera rotates, the masks and detection zones rotate with the image. This can result in important areas being blocked or excluded from detection after the camera moves.
In practice, this makes Out of View Detection difficult to use because areas that should be monitored may end up inside a privacy mask or non-detection zone after the camera pans.
Possible solutions that would significantly improve functionality:
Privacy Masks and Non-Detection Zones remain fixed relative to the home position coordinate system, not the PTZ view.
Alternatively, automatically disable masks and non-detection zones when the camera leaves the home position and re-enable them when the camera returns.
I also noticed that Out of View Detection appears to rotate the camera only about 45° from center when the left or right PIR sensor is triggered. Ideally, the camera should rotate closer to 90° toward the triggered PIR zone so the viewing direction aligns with the detected motion or the configured Auto Tracking limits, which would give users control over how far the camera can rotate.
Feature request:
An ideal implementation would be preset-based configuration, allowing Privacy Masks and Non-Detection Zones to be defined independently for each PTZ preset.
It would also be very useful if PTZ presets were exposed through the Home Assistant integration, allowing users to automate preset positions with schedules (for example, facing one direction during the day and another direction at night).
Finally, my camera is mounted approximately 20 feet above ground, and the PIR sensors cannot be angled downward. Adjustable PIR sensor angles would greatly improve detection performance for elevated installations and may be worth considering for a future hardware revision.
The camera has great potential, but these firmware and feature limitations reduce the effectiveness of the PTZ and Out of View Detection functionality. Addressing these interactions would make this an excellent product.

Hardwired dual camera floodlight security system with bright lights and no subscription
This floodlight security camera system from Reolink is a reliable and high quality option for home security with strong performance and convenient features. The dual cameras produce clear, high resolution footage and perform well in both daytime and nighttime conditions. The floodlights are very bright and do a great job illuminating the surrounding area when triggered. Since it’s hardwired, you don’t have to worry about charging or replacing batteries, and the app is easy to use without requiring any subscription. Connectivity also remains stable even when accessing it from farther away, which makes monitoring more dependable.
Because it is hardwired, installation may take more effort compared to battery powered options, especially if you’re replacing an older fixture. This makes it better suited for permanent setups rather than temporary or quick installations.
I’d recommend it if you want a dependable floodlight camera system with excellent image quality and no subscription fees.

Impressive Features and Build Quality So Far ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Even though I haven’t installed the REOLINK TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi camera yet, I’m very impressed so far. The unit feels solid and well-built right out of the box, with a premium design that inspires confidence in its durability. I do have other premium reolink products installed
The specs are outstanding — the 4K dual-lens camera, 360° PTZ movement, and 6X hybrid zoom promise excellent coverage and clarity. The 3000-lumen floodlight is bright and looks like it will provide great visibility and security once installed.
Setup looks straightforward, and the overall quality gives me high expectations for performance. Based on first impressions, this feels like a top-tier security camera and an easy 5-star purchase.

Great camera, just be ready to solve the power situation yourself
I have this mounted to cover my back porch and it does what a security camera is supposed to do. The 4K dual-lens setup is the main thing that sets this apart in its price range. Most cameras at this tier give you one lens and you choose between wide coverage and detail. This one runs both simultaneously so you get a full yard view and a zoomed close-up at the same time in the app. When the auto-tracking kicks in and follows movement across the frame it actually works, not the sluggish delayed tracking you see on cheaper PTZ cameras.
The 3000 lumens of floodlight is genuinely bright and having two color temperatures is a nice touch. The local AI video search is something I did not expect at this price point. Being able to search recorded footage by describing what you are looking for rather than scrubbing through hours of clips manually is a real practical feature, and because it is processed on the device there is no monthly subscription fee attached to it. Cameras several times the price in professional security tiers still push you toward cloud subscriptions for that kind of functionality.
The software interface is where this falls short. The app gets the basics done but the layout and feature organization need work. Some settings take too many taps to reach and the overall experience does not match the hardware quality. Not a dealbreaker but you notice it.
The bigger issue for my situation is the hardwired power requirement. There is no battery option and that limits where you can realistically mount it. I ended up having to tie it into my back porch light circuit which means my porch light has to stay on to keep the camera powered until I figure out a cleaner wiring solution. If you have an existing outdoor outlet or floodlight fixture nearby this is a non-issue. If you do not, plan the installation before you buy. Great camera overall and for the price the feature set is hard to beat. The power situation is just something to think through ahead of time.

Impressive Floodlight and Camera - Super easy to install and configure
This is a really impressive light, right from the way it is presented in the internal (Looks to be laser cut foam to protect and present well) packaging to the instructions, to all of the “extras” that make it easy to install and configure. I’ve not used any of the Reolink products in the past, nor had I even heard of the brand, but I will certainly be looking into their offerings as this one is first rate. Let me explain more…
This camera is designed to be hardwired for power but utilizes Wi-Fi for connectivity and transmitting the images. This is exactly what I needed as I’m using this on a workshop that is in a rural connection. I’ve power to the exterior of my building for floodlights already, and installing this was as simple as unscrewing the old floodlight, and wiring this in. I especially appreciated that Reolink thought ahead and provided a way via USB power to bench test and configure the light before the final installation on the outside wall where I needed to be up on a ladder 15’ in the air. This feature alone allowed me to really get to know the camera and make sure it was set up as I wanted.
Quickly I do need to mention that the floodlight capabilities of this unit are first rate as well. They light up the area. My only slight frustration is that I’m not sure if the flood lights can be activated by motion as I haven’t figured that out yet. It’s not the end of the world as I’m okay with the light activating based upon light level (dusk/dawn), but it might be nice to have the option of using motion instead. It seems like that should be simple since the camera triggers with motion. If Reolink reads this, I’d sure appreciate a note to let me know if this is possible.
Otherwise, I’m very impressed also with the video quality, the ability to pan/zoom, tilt and the tracking capabilities of the camera are cool since I’m wanting to monitor unauthorized access to my property. This camera certainly accomplishes that for me. Oh, the resolution is good as well and the wide field of view is perfect for what I’m trying to do.
The app itself is pretty darn good. Unfortunately, I’ve got several different brand cameras at the property so I’m bouncing between multiple apps, but this one is as good, or better than most. Someday I’ve got to figure out if I can incorporate all the cameras through a single pane of glass… That would be very cool.
Finally, I need to mention the build quality and my impression of how solid of a unit this is. Many of the cameras I’ve bought over the years are inexpensive and feel it. While this is on the higher end of what I would spend, it certainly feels like it is worth the price. The quality is head and shoulders above what most of my other cameras are.

Works well. Good picture. ONVIF compatible & works with BlueIris. Bright floodlights.
Reolink is probably my overall favorite network security camera provider. Every camera I have purchased from them has worked great and this one carries on that tradition. I have been looking for a new PTZ camera to mount on my driveway for a while and this one is going to be perfect for my application, as it will allow me to replace a fixed outside light without any major rewiring or new holes needing to be drilled.
One good point is that they do include a USB-C port for powering the camera portion of the floodlight, which allows you to get everything set up on WiFi before you actually mount it to the wall. Once on wifi, you can use the Reolink PC app to make any configuration changes desired -- like enabling RTSP streams and ONVIF so that you can use it with other security applications besides their own (e.g. BlueIris). Unlike the cameras from many manufacturers these days which lock them to their own cloud, this one has no such issues and works great with third party programs. That being said, the Reolink PC app is actually pretty decent in its own right and is quite useful as a simple monitoring and recording NVR app. About the only thing I wish is that I didn't have to actually use the phone app and QR code to configure things initially. My own preference would still be to have the web interface enabled by default with a fixed password and to allow the user to change and disable it if desired, rather than being the other way around, though this is probably better for an inexperienced installer. I did have issues with logging in via the web interface, but as the app works well for configuration and I typically only use it long enough to get it configured for use with BlueIris, I'm not going to ding them on that.
While the USB-C port only allows configuring the wifi portion of the camera, and I do wish they had included a place to plug in an actual power cord, it didn't take me more than a couple of minutes to wire one up to be able to do more testing. Once the main power was connected, I was able to test out the floodlight function and was happy to see that it offers brightness adjustment, color temperature, IR operation for night camera mode, auto on based on light level, and timer based operation as well. The only thing that it does not appear to have is the ability to trigger the floodlight based on motion. As the SD record function includes motion detection already, I would have expected the ability to trigger the floodlights based on motion to be one of the options. It may be in the recording function somewhere, but so far I haven't found it. All things considered though, as I plan to have this on from dusk until dawn anyway, it doesn't really matter for my own usage all that much (though there are a few other places I would likely use one if it did have that functionality).
On a bit of a side note, the attention to detail for ease of installation on this is top notch. The mounting plate has a built-in screw down terminal block for connecting the wires, which means that you don't have to use the provided wire nuts in most instances. Additionally it has a conveniently mounted strap for hanging the camera onto the mount while you work on it during installation. It also has a built in level in the mounting plate, which is a another plus.
It is rare that you find a security product anymore that works well, has a good app with it for both phone and PC, has nice convenience features for actually installing it, and doesn't try locking you into their own cloud. This camera checks all those boxes and does it in a nice package at a reasonable price.
Highly recommended!

Great coverage floodlight camera
This REOLINK TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi is a powerful and intelligent outdoor security camera that blends advanced surveillance features with bright, effective lighting. Its dual-lens design delivers simultaneous wide and telephoto views in 4K, allowing you to get both broad coverage and detailed zoomed-in footage. The 360° PTZ functionality truly minimizes blind spots, and the AI-powered auto-tracking impressively follows motion as it occurs, helping you keep tabs on people or vehicles across your property.
One of the strongest aspects is the system’s self-contained recording options — local microSD or network storage means you aren’t locked into subscription fees for alerts or footage. The 3000-lumen floodlights not only improve night visibility but also act as a solid deterrent, especially when paired with customizable lighting tones and a loud built-in siren. Smart detection is reliable, filtering out irrelevant triggers and sending timely notifications to your phone.
In daily use, the Reolink app is responsive and accessing 24/7 footage feels straightforward. The overall build and performance give a sense of quality far above typical entry-level floodlight cameras. However, the TrackFlex sits at a higher price point than many competitors, and while its feature set justifies that for users who want cutting-edge capabilities, it might feel steep for more casual buyers. A few ecosystem limitations — like lack of Apple HomeKit support at launch — may also matter to some.
Overall, if you’re looking for a top-tier outdoor security camera with robust tracking, excellent video quality, and flexible recording without ongoing fees, the REOLINK TrackFlex is a standout choice — even if it’s a bit pricey.

Vine Review – REOLINK TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi Camera
What I liked:
The dual-lens design works well, providing a wide field of view while the tracking lens captures clearer close-ups when motion is detected. The 360° pan and tilt combined with auto-tracking does a good job following people and vehicles without losing focus. The 3000-lumen floodlight is very bright and effective for illuminating driveways and outdoor areas, and the night vision performs well in low-light conditions.
The camera supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), which helped maintain a stable connection. I also appreciate the 24/7 continuous recording option and the fact that there are no monthly subscription fees. Installation was straightforward with hardwired AC power, and the app setup was simple.
Things to consider:
This camera requires hardwired power, so it may not be ideal for locations without an existing junction box. A microSD card is not included, so additional storage needs to be purchased separately if you’re not using an NVR or NAS.
Overall:
This is a well-built and feature-rich floodlight camera suitable for homeowners looking for continuous recording, strong lighting, and smart tracking without ongoing subscription costs.

Great Company, Great Products.
Reolink is a great brand. 5 stars on that. This camera advertises 270 degree out of view motion detection, and has sensors for it, but my experience in 2 days of testing is that it generally only detects motion when in the field of view. Still working with the settings on the camera to see if I set the range incorrectly. This is my 7th Reolink camera, with the other 6 being for work. I also have an NVR at that location.

A Absolute Game-Changer for Home Security that Turns Night into Day
Replacing my old, "dumb" motion light with the REOLINK TrackFlex Floodlight WiFi was one of the most satisfying upgrades I have made to my home exterior in years. From the moment I unboxed it, the build quality felt substantial and premium, reassuring me that this device is built to survive the elements. Since this unit runs on 100~240V AC hardwired power, I didn't have to worry about climbing ladders to swap batteries or positioning solar panels; I simply wired it into the existing junction box where my old light used to be. The installation process was straightforward, and having a constant power source means the performance is consistently powerful without any "power-saving" lags that plague battery-operated alternatives.
The lighting capability alone is worth the price of admission. With 3000 lumens at my disposal, this floodlight doesn't just illuminate the driveway; it practically turns night into day. The brightness is adjustable, which is a fantastic feature, but when cranked up, the visibility is stunning. This massive amount of light works in perfect harmony with the dual-lens camera system. Instead of grainy, black-and-white night vision, I am getting full-color, crisp video footage even in the pitch dark. It provides a level of detail—like the color of a car or the specific clothing a person is wearing—that standard infrared cameras simply cannot match.
Where the TrackFlex really shows off its intelligence is in its PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) and auto-tracking capabilities. The 360-degree coverage eliminates virtually all blind spots, effectively doing the job of two or three stationary cameras. The way the auto-tracking locks onto a subject is genuinely impressive; it feels incredibly futuristic. When the smart detection identifies a person or a vehicle, the camera smoothly rotates and tilts to follow them across the yard, ensuring the subject stays in the frame the entire time. The dual-lens setup allows it to maintain a wide view while simultaneously capturing zoomed-in details, so I never lose the context of what is happening in the periphery.
Connectivity has been rock-solid thanks to the dual-band Wi-Fi. I often worry about wireless cameras dropping their signal due to the distance from my router, but this unit picked up the 5GHz band immediately and has maintained a high-speed connection for seamless 24/7 recording. The smart detection features are finely tuned right out of the box, distinguishing between pets, people, and vehicles with uncanny accuracy. I haven't been bombarded with false alarms from blowing leaves or shadows, which keeps my notifications relevant and actionable. This combination of powerful floodlighting, intelligent tracking, and reliable recording makes the Reolink TrackFlex an absolute powerhouse for perimeter security.
