Very happy with these keypads

Local company wanted $960 to replace two keypads that went out in the freeze early Jan - I bought two of these and sat out at my apartment's magnetic door lock system trying this wire to this one then that wire to the next one etc... took me three hours but I figured out the right set of wires, connected it all in and they've been working great ever since.

Nice CHEAP keypad

Beware if you are looking to use this keypad as a PIN entry for an access control wiegand input it does not work. I have 2 of these units and it seems that WG26 only gets sent if I use a wirelesss credential. Does not work if I only enter a PIN code. As a local enter a pin, release the relay it works fine.

Case lock Very thin, easily pried off. Once pried off keypad is useless, as it won't stay on the surface.

UPDATE: picture is of keypad after only 8 months of use.

UPDATE: Supplier replaced the keypad under warranty without any hesitation. The issues are as stated but I changed from 2 stars to 4 because of excellent support.

A very good deal for the price

Very easy to install. The best deal for the price

Works well, and backlight buttons are better than similar unit.

Works as expected. The only thing I don't love is its made primarily as a standalone unit. It has no LED control line, so it you use it as a wiegand reader with external controller, the led and buzzer make it appear as if the swipe is rejected because the card is not learned into the internal DB.

It doesn't ruin it, but I was there was a way to disable that function. ( although there are plenty of similar units that do not share the built in controller, )
