These two-way radios are way better than I expected. The power and range are excellent. Programming is relatively intuitive but there are so many functions that I found it very helpful to use the manual. The sound quart is clear for a radio and the adjustable volume is audible even on the lowest setting. I like that it picks up the local weather almost instantly. The flashlight can be used with either the white light or red light which is perfect for camping. There is a charging base for each unit but you can also directly charge to the usb-c on the radios themselves. Excellent set.

Solid Build Quality & Performance
These two way GMRS radios are beefy in your hand, a nice rugged feel. I ordered these for ATV riding, not specifically used for water sports but the IP68 rating should ensure reliability with occasional moisture from water splash or rain while riding. Sound quality is very good. Type C charging is a big plus as they can be charged with standard usb port rather than carrying a base charger. Bright green color makes them highly visible. Battery life lasts through 10 hours of riding with occasional use. I haven't tested the SWR output yet but haven't had any problem communicating with other riders within a mile distance in rugged terrain. The key lock is a nice feature to protect against accidental setting changes. Overall I'm happy with the quality of these units and can recommend.

Floating Walkies are a Real Win!
We kept losing radios in the water when deck hands have to jump from the boat to tie it up. I got these two way radios because they are waterproof and designed to float. I can confirm they actually float and keep working even after falling into the water. The bright color makes them easy to spot and they also light up at the bottom with red and white lights when they hit the water (or get wet). This gives the staff time to fish them out.
A clear display screen lets you see exactly which station you are on. These radios go up to 30 stations which is a nice upgrade for us. Compared to our older walkies that only have up to 22 channels this provides more options for our crew. They are also a bit wider which makes for a secure grip. For anyone working on or near water these are a great choice.

Clear communications over long distances
I ordered this 2pc set of 2-Way Radios by Retevis to use as alternate communication devices during camping, hiking, and fishing excursions that my family often goes on. The radios appear to be well made of good quality materials. The design and shape of the radios make using them very intuitive and simplistic. We tested these outdoors at a distance of about 1 mile with no communication problems. The sound was nice and clear. I really like that these radios are IP68 water resistant and they also float, which makes them ideal for fishing and boating. Each radio comes with its own charge cradle and charging plug. Since these use standard USB-C charging cables, these can be easily charged in a car or boat, in addition to standard electrical receptacles. I also like the light green color of these radios, which would be more visible in they are ever misplaced or lost. These are great 2 way radios that provide clear 2-way communications across long distances. They also include great features such as an SOS function and Hands-Free communications. I highly recommend it.
