The set up is very easy. We had the older model for many years and the transmitter ran on a 9V battery. I like that the new transmitter runs on two AA batteries. Very reliable. We live in a remote area and there is only one way in or out. Its really nice to know when someone is driving in whether deliveries, service providers, guests or others.
