I’m thrilled with this purchase. Having found myself now in TWO “once every 100 years catastrophic event”s inside a year (northern Michigan/devastating ice storms).
Aside from it being 40 degrees inside my house, worrying about have no way to call for help was a major stressor.
This device has five—5–🖐🏼— ways to charge the phone. And a whole bunch of other, very cool bonus features.
I charged one of my phones with it, right out of the box with maybe 75-100 cranks (though I probably didn’t need the cranks). Easy peasy.
The radio has a really nice sound (see video). The weather band ACTUALLY picks up weather updates (that feature has never once worked on any device I’ve had over the years).
I love the two lighting options. They seem to have thought of everything. (Even a super loud SOS siren.)
My only complaint is that right out of the box, the silicone /rubber “flap” that’s used to keep the charge ports clean will NOT stay in place (see pics). It was already stretched out and loose. I have added a bit of black electrical tape to keep it where it’s supposed to be. Not pretty but effective. But, really: it should just fit. It should just work the way it’s supposed to.
Easy to use. Great value for the money, peace of mind: priceless.

I’m really impressed with this portable/emergency radio, this is by far the best one I have seen at this price point. The build quality is so far ahead of others in this pricing range. They use a high quality plastic that is not brittle or flimsy. The antenna feels sturdy and is easily deployed. Most impressive is how well the radio receives my local radio stations. The solar panel is good quality too and I like the fact that it is adjustable. I got the green one, it looks great! Decent would quality but I am only using for AM talk/news channels so that’s not important to me. Definitely worth the price if you are in the market for something like this.

This is a solid emergency radio, just holding it feels like holding something that was made with care and attention to detail. It has heft and feels like it could take on some rugged terrain. It looks like something you might see in a soldier's rucksack. It has great reception even without using the antennae, it tunes into more stations than any radio I have ever used, the sound is mono and a bit tinny but it is an emergency radio after all. This radio has a handy flashlight with a reading lamp under the solar panel. There is also two phone charging ports, one USB-A and one USB-C (5v1a shared, I'm sure) along with the USB-C input charging port. In addition to the solar panel and charging dynamo, this radio can also be powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included). The only downside I can see is the handle on the charging dynamo could possibly be snapped by someone over zealously cranking it.

I got this because we live in (coastal) SoCal and I am building an emergency “go bag.” Between the threats of wildfires, earthquakes and tsunami, having an emergency weather radio is a must. I love that there are five sources of power - rechargeable lithium ion battery, A/C (it come with a USB -A/C charging cable, but you have to provide your own brick), AAA batteries, hand crank, and solar - so no matter the situation you’re in you’ll always have power to get pertinent information.
It was so easy to find our local weather band; you just go through the channels until you hear a voice, otherwise you’ll only hear static. The AM/FM channels come in clearly, but are not as clear as satellite radio, fyi.
This radio, easy to use, lightweight, and has everything you need for an emergency or to take on an outdoor adventure: multiple weather bands and power sources; an AM/FM radio with an antenna; a flashlight and reading light with two brightness settings; the ability to charge devices via two USB-C and one USB-A port plus a headphone jack. This is a must-have for all households. It’s also a good teaching device for everyone who is unfamiliar with terrestrial radio dials.

Must-Have for Camping and Emergency Kits!
I’m so excited to add this to both my camping gear and my car emergency kit! The large side solar panel is a great feature, and I love the versatility of charging options. Whether it’s plugged into power or cranked by hand, knowing I can recharge it anytime is a huge bonus. It feels like one of those “just in case” items that you’ll be really glad to have when you need it. Highly recommend for anyone who camps, travels, or likes to be prepared!

This is a well designed emergency weather radio. The flexible power options are just what I want for an emergency radio. It has an internal 12000mAh battery which can be charged by USB-C, solar panel or hand crank. The radio will also take 3 AAA batteries. Besides a radio, it is a light, SOS beacon and even a power supply for your cell phone or GPS. It is good to be prepared with this radio and take it on camping trips to keep it charged and tested.

For years we’ve relied on a simple, battery-operated AM/FM radio and battery-powered flashlights for when weather takes a bad turn. I’ve always wanted a NOAA radio that can be charged up before a storm and powered/charged in various ways. This is key in Florida where hurricanes can knock out utilities for days to weeks.
This unit has good heft and is easy to hold and use. The instructions are minimal, but everything is simple to figure out. A single switch lets you cycle to AM, FM, or WB (Weather Band). A flashlight button offers two brightnesses. A hidden light is beneath the swiveling solar panel.
The radio came with a pre-charge, so I was able to use it right away. It has decent reception and ample volume. However, the battery takes a long time to charge via the included USB cable — I can charge this at home with an adapter or in the car. It can also be powered by AC, though no corded adapter is included. I like that I can also power it with 3 AA batteries. Solar charging was a must for me, even though it would take days for the sun to fully charge the battery. I’ll rely on solar more so to keep the battery as topped up as possible during electricity outages.
The hand crank is easy to turn, but it would require tons of work to charge things up. Hopefully I’ll never need to use the crank. I pray I’ll never need to use the SOS feature either.
The internal, rechargeable battery accounts for most of the unit’s weight. To maximize its life, I’ll store this about half charged and check it monthly and then keep it about 80% charge during hurricane season. (We’ll need to ballpark the charge level because there is no true percentage charge indicator.) Of course, if under a hurricane watch, it will be kept fully charged. I can’t tell if the battery could be replaced. I also can’t be certain how weatherproof the unit is as there are no seals around any panels.
For the price, this is a great addition to our preparedness kit. It won’t replace the other devices we already have but rather move them to being backups.
NOTE: My five-star rating indicates that this unit packs a real punch for its price range. There are more robust units out there, but they cost significantly more. Thus, this radio is a good value for the features and durability.

This weather radio is an excellent piece of equipment for extreme weather events as well as for regular use. The am/fm feature works well as well as the weather band radio for alerts. The radio can be powered via batteries, solar panel, cable charged, or hand crank. The radio also has a very functional flash/signal light. This radio will definitely be part of my next hunt or camping trip..

Item is good quality, all the features work as intended. Simple to use right out of the box. I live in a place where my power goes out frequently, so having a solar powered/crank operated battery available gives me peace of mind.
Pros:
-The reading light looks super handy, for when a flashlight isn't quite what I need.
-We were under a tornado watch when the radio was delivered, so I can confirm the weather station works!
-Solar charging works, I was able to charge a phone, a tablet, and earbuds with the battery (not all at the same time)
Cons:
-(this is why I knocked a star off) For the price, similar models have an LCD screen and power meters. It's frustrating to have no status available other than a "low power" light. Even my cheap travel batteries I keep in my purse have a couple of LED lights that let me know if my battery is full, middle, or low charge.
-The item was slightly smaller than I envisioned for some reason, so I'm including a picture with it sitting next to a bottle of water for size expectations.
-Not advertised as weather proof. There is a rubber cover for the charging ports, but the aaa battery spot doesn't have a seal, so I wouldn't trust it in any damp environments.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase, will definitely be keeping it. Look forward to having it for no power situations like power outages or camping!

Weather has been crazy in my area this year. It's made me consider what I should keep on-hand in case of power or internet outages. This emergency radio by Roxicosly is designed for situations such as those.
With a 12000 mAh rechargeable battery it has enough juice to charge my phone and other devices. It has both USB and USB-C ports for that purpose. With the built-in solar panel and the hand crank generator I can keep the radio itself and those devices charged if my home's electric service is out. The hand crank is tucked into the bottom of the radio. The manual states that rotating it 2 revolutions per second generates 650mA of electricity. The solar panel folds flat on the back of the radio and makes 350mA in direct sunlight. Both the crank handle and solar panel look and feel good quality.
I didn't consider the flashlight or reading light when I ordered this but they are both great! The flashlight beam is very bright and the reading light illuminates a huge area.
The radio sounds good! I don't understand how the NOAA band works but it does! There is a separate knob with 7 positions. Number 4 instantly brought in the NOAA channel for my city.
I'm keeping this one for sure but these would also be great gifts for my peeps!

This is a solid all on one emergency radio. The longer I use it, the more I like it.
POSITIVES:
The flashlight is BRIGHT. You can see several hundred feet. It has a very defined beam and throws a lot of light. There is an area light on the bottom of the solar panel that works great as a reading light, for illuminating an area for a project/repair etc. The weather radio reception and clarity is excellent. The battery took 12,000mah to charge after running until depleated. Great capacity.
NEGATIVES:
It takes ~14 hours to charge from dead to fully charged the charge rate never reached 1 amp.
The USB output ports to charge another device barely handle a 1 amp load, this goes for both usb a&c outputs.
The am/fm tuner is analog and very difficult to hone in on a station. I have another radio with a digital tuner and it is much easier to lock on to a station and tune the antenna properly when you are sure the frequency is spot on.
Charging via hand crank or solar panel is impractical given the battery capacity. You aren't gonna crank this thing for two weeks or leave it out in the weather for multiple days (especially as it isnt weatherproof). But I guess it doesn't hurt to have it.

Multiple ways to charge: charging cord(included), solar, hand crank or use 3 AAA batteries(not included). As someone who has lived through the aftermath of a hurricane, this would have been helpful, as we were without power for weeks. The radio has good reception. Flashlight has 2 levels. The SOS signal is very loud. Great that you can charge electronics off it in a power outage. A little searching to find weather band, but gave clear information. Good size, nice that it has a carry handle. Great multipurpose radio. Nice to feel prepared for future weather events. I would definitely recommend.

Love this emergency radio. It even has a solar panel. It has a place on the side to charge it or you can use AAA batteries. It also has a place on the side to stick your phone to charge it. It is AM/FM and weather band. It also has a very strong light and an SOS mode. I think everybody should have one of these in case of an emergency or just to use every day to listen to the radio because the sound is crystal clear. It’s a great price and it comes in very good packaging. Would make a wonderful gift
