Impressively Versatile for the Price

If you are looking for a pair of speakers that punch significantly above their weight class without requiring a degree in audio engineering to set up, these Saiyin bookshelf units are a compelling "sleeper" choice. As for economically priced bookshelf speakers for a record player, they are impressively versatile.

Very satisfied and would recommend.

I was a bit hesitant due to it being an unknown brand and a handful of reviews mentioning QC issue. But I still took a chance since I am using the speaker to connect to a cheap TV to enhance the sound quality in the small gym room in my house to play bass heavy music and show/movie for treadmill or background noise. I've tried with BT and it worked flawlessly but I've decided to use 3.5mm to 2 RCA cable to hook up to the TV. All the cables included are pretty short so I purchased a longer one for different speaker placement than shown in the picture.

My TV is FireTV and there is a setting to use the TV remote to control the speaker power and volume. So once you set it up, you don't really need the speaker remote unless to change the input source. I am no way an audiophile. I have some older BOSE 2.1 speaker, 5.1.2 home theater soundbar and several high-end ANC headphone/earbuds to compare and I am very satisfied. I enjoy bass heavy music and EDM and it had plenty of bass and gets very loud. It also sounded nice playing movies like Dune.

For the purpose I purchased for, I am very satisfied and if I ever needed to replace my computer speakers, I would get another one as a replacement.

Sound Best When Used With An Equalizer

I bought these to use as a powered system for my laptop's extensive music library and their performance is quite lackluster when just plugged straight in to the system, they do come alive when I use some sort of equalizer. Let's face it, they're not top shelf units so either seeking deep bass or clear highs is not within the realm of reason yet when I employ a program such as Music Bee or Viper4Windows and used their 15 band EQ's. Note I didn't have to adjust the controls very much to wake the woofer and tweeters up either because anything from Bach to Leadbelly to Glen Miller to Van Halen sounds pretty decent. Without the EQ adjustments? Not so good. The speakers sound sort of muffled like really CHEAP speakers should, Thus I urge you to use some sort of equalizing program or head unit where you have access to at the very least a parametric EQ to help you dial in the desired sound quality and not just accept the line level unless you plan on just listening to vocal podcasts only.

Don't waste ur time

Don't waste ur money

they sound good when I listen to movies and stuff but when I start playing games I get this bad static that's almost as loud as the volume, I'm going to keep them for the tv only, still gonna get a set, thinking about a Klipsch set, don't want to make a mistake again.

Not bad speakers

I bought these to improve the sound quality of my turn tables built in speakers and wow are these good they sound amazing and pack a punch for little speakers. The built in Bluetooth is nice as well I like being able to play all of my media from one location.

Sounds Bad

I’ve tried a few different models by this manufacturer. All of them sound muffled. I sent them all back. I don’t know what it is about Chinese speakers; you can make a simple little portable Bluetooth speaker that sounds better then these.

They lack clarity, treble, not a fan of the red and orange lights, and the base isn’t that great.

They are amazing, bass is amazing

Oh my god these are great. They allow you to connect so much stuff to them, I am able to connect my cd player, record player, phone, and computer to them and they all sound amazing. My only very small issue that doesn't even really matter is that when using the aux mode the have a slight buzzing/ hissing noise. It can only be here when close to the or turned down really low. They bass is outstanding for the prices and well worth the money. I have no regrets.

New Speakers

Thesr speakers are pretty impressive for their size. The hookup was simplicity itself. I didn need to use the instructions manual, and I liked the prepared speaker wire . I’d recommend this product to someone else who’s thinking about getting a.speaker system.

Very good sound quality

The sound quality is much better than from my TV speakers. The speakers were easy to install with the included patch cords. I did have to ad my own HDMI cord. They are attractive and well finished. One of them had the pins that hold the speaker cover on broken in shipment. I will glue them back together. They were packed very well for shipping in double boxes with foam cushioning. The speakers have 3 sound modes but I cant tell the difference in them. I would prefer an adjustable bass and treble. These are priced comparable to similar speakers. I recommend them as an add on to a TV.

Color me impressed

I consider myself a budget audiophile and own a plethora of budget (and middle of the road) audio gear. We live in a day and age where really good sound can be had on the cheap and if anyone tells you different, don't listen. These speakers are a testament to that. Using these in a near field application as PC speakers connected via optical. They sound good flat, but add a little equalization and these speakers really come to life. Bass is quite impressive, highs are crisp and airy. Front porting on any speaker is a plus for me since I'm limited on space in my man cave. Fit and finish are perfect, no flaws anywhere. I'm a rustic kind of guy so the wood finish appeals to my taste. Center imaging is great, they pretty much disappear into my monitor and instrument separation is excellent. Subwoofer out availability is a great plus but I haven't felt the need to add a subwoofer for my application. These speakers would almost be perfect if they had bass and treble controls on the speaker. The controls that are available though on the top of the speaker work well and are responsive. The remote works well and is one of the nicer remotes that have come with many budget powered speakers that I own. For 80 bux? Well worth the price point. Highly recommended.

Love everything about these speakers!

These are just gorgeous and also work amazing.

Bluetooth and you can even connect them to your TV. I love the style of these and it’s an old school classy vibe.

Easy to hook up and these are just really fun and nice quality.
