Do Not Buy!!!

I just wrote a long review and it didn’t post it but basically this bowl is worthless if you plan to hunt with it if you want something to practice shooting techniques and your draw techniques OK that will work, but that will also work with any possible bow you can buy I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on upgrades had this thing tuned maxed it out of draw can shoot very accurately and I’m telling you this thing is worthless for hunting. It does not pack enough punch even maxed out. It comes out at like 59.44 pounds draw weight not the 70 as advertised. Sorry if this isn’t spelled right I’m doing talk to text but I’m doing this because I wish I would’ve seen her review like this before I purchased the item. It would be worth it just to buy a better more reliable bow and practice shooting with that the same thing that you were going to Hunt With I honestly feel like this thing was a waste of money as well as all of the upgrades I bought for it and the time I’ve spent at archery shops having it tuned unless you can get a shot at about three or 4 yards on a buck and even then get lucky it’s not gonna have enough power to penetrate deep enough to hit vital organs even maxed out and. This is the first time I’ve ever given a negative review on an item. Do not buy this. Don’t even waste your time.

Great for price

Very good bow, smooth draw cycle, high quality material, and shoots very fast and quiet for 50 lbs. only thing I would say is replace the sight, rest, stabilizer, and arrows.

Worthless garbage

Just shot the 1st time and the thing broke, string snapped. Haven't touched the damn thing since I bought it and return window just closed. Wish I didn't buy to be honest.

Awesome bow

Wow!!!

This bow is incredible! It is incredibly quiet.

It is easy to adjust and the arrows are surprisingly durable(I’ve personally bumped them of trees multiple times and they still work.

The release is comfortable and smooth.

I definitely recommend taking it to a bow store to adjust the peep and sight it In 😃

Decent bow, poor packaging leads to damaged arrows

Bow is alright, but they just throw the arrows in underneath everything and all the wings bent. You'll certainly need to upgrade arrows because of this...unfortunate

Awesome bow for the $

Ive had the bow a couple days, and initial impressions are great. You just cant beat this package for the price. I adjusted the bow to 31 inch,(max pull capacity,) adjusted limbs fully- and bow scale reads 68.8 lbs vs 70. (Within acceptable range). Im super happy with bow for the price. I fully upgraded the sight, rest, and arrows, and man- its accurate. I robin hooded an arrow during 1st practice session with upgrades.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASIC BOW!

Only reason I'm giving this bow 4 stars is because I've almost replaced everything that came with it. The 4 star is not anything to do with the bow itself the bow is 5 stars! I've owned this bow for 3 years now and am rewriting my review to give it the justice it deserves. Ive shot this bow everday at 29 inch draw and set to 70 pounds 100 arrows a day with absolutely zero problems. I wished they would sell the bow itself and let you customize it how you want. First I got rid of the arrow rest that came with it. ITS JUNK! Second I made my own hand sling out of black paracord custom to my hand size. Third I bought self adhesive camo wrap to wrap my handle with to provide some comfort and better grip on the bow handle and to give a little bit of warmth to a metal handle for hunting. It also reduced some of the vibration of the bow. Added some of the wrap to my arrow rest to reduce noise and camo it a little better. It makes no noise now when drawn and is a very smooth draw cycle. Forth I got rid of the horrible blue and black fletched arrows that came with it. There too flexible and light to be shot at 70 pounds and everyone of the nocks broke at 70 pound. They are not a good match for the bow because of the weight and flexibility. The energy that should be going into the arrow does not and instead is going into the bow itself VERY BAD FOR BOW! I now shoot carbon express terminator hunters 55-70 arrows found at Walmart for $9.97 a arrow and cut them down to the length I need with a hack saw and a little sand paper to flatten it out level. I take a small hand torch and heat the end of the arrow to loosen the glue and remove the insert to glue into my cut arrow and glue with 1,000 pound crazy glue. I kept the original sight that came with the bow I see no need to replace it, it works well I can shoot dime size dots on my arrow stop. The one that comes with it has no weights in it and is more a dampener than stabilizer. I've kept the arrow quiver that came with it works great. I did buy a new release just because i wanted a better quality release but the one that came with it never misfired on me and I shot 1,000's of arrows with it. You will have to build your bow yourself and learn how to properly tune it for accuracy. There are many videos on youtube to teach you how to do it. The reason I love this bow so much is because you don't need to give your money to a con bow shop to work on it. The strings that came with it I've had since I've bought the bow 3 years old and all I do is wax them every 4-5 shooting sessions. If you replace the strings you will have to learn how to properly tie in a peep sight NOT HARD and how to tie a d-loop NOT HARD plenty of videos on youtube to walk you through the process. Check your screws on the bow every 4-5 shooting sessions just for peace of mind and to insure no bow damage. Never have had them back out but its just a preventive so you never need a bow shop. I absolutely do not regret any of the money I've spent on the bow and accessories I've bought for it. This bow is fantastic it's one of my favorite purchases yet. If your on the fence about buying it don't be but you will have to do some learning youtube has helped me every step of the way. I went from never having shot a compound bow to being in love with archery and a fantastic shot now that I've learned what I needed to from youtube. This bow if taken care of properly will last and work flawlessly for you. I'm finally confident enough in my shooting abilities and gear to go bow hunting now. This bow is not a cheaply made bow and has plenty of power it will give you a accurate shot that will pass cleanly threw a deer. Hope this helps any future buyers in the right direction of what to replace and what you can expect from this bow. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOW AND WILL BUY AGAIN IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO MINE! All the photos your seeing of exploded bows are from the geniuses that dry fired or did not properly nock a arrow in the bow or they are using the arrows provided in the kit. Do not use the arrows that come with the bow your basically dry firing the bow with the wrong arrows. They did it to themselves but wont admit it because they want there money back from there mistake. NEVER EVER DRY FIRE YOUR BOW FOR ANY REASON IF AN ARROW FALLS AWAY LET THE BOW BACK DOWN DO NOT FIRE! Good luck future hunters/archers!

Great buy! Shoot accurate, with plenty of power

Great bow for the money, and easy to set up!

I upgraded the rest and sights. Still only in this bow setup at about $300. Using scheels vendetta arrows.

The arrows that came with the bow arent worth using unless you’re just shooting for fun.

Video is at 34 yards

Sanlida Dragon X8 Best bang for your buck!

Came packaged nicely. Easy to assemble, very simple to adjust draw length and draw weight. Ready to shoot after simple assembly. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star was the bow release failed and released while drawing back. You can get a better one for around $20. After about 100 shots I decided to upgrade the sight for a 3 pin truglo that was also about $25 bucks and a truglo arrow rest also about $25 bucks.

The arrow it came with are like 500 spline and ok if you leave it at 30lb deaw weight how it comes out of the box. I got 400 spline when shooting at 45lb draw weight. Then ended up with 350 spline to shoot with bow maxed out at 70lb draw weight.

It is a great value for 200 dollars. Can’t beat it.

Best bang for your buck! With a few minor upgrades and stiffer arrows when you turn up the draw weight, this bow can shoot alongside way more expensive bows. Buy it, tune it, enjoy it!!!

Silas Martinez-Hosford

Decent Bow not good arrows.

The arrows it comes with are too flimsy depending on the weight the bow is at. Definitely get better arrows to practice.

Amazing bow for a fraction of what it’s worth

I bought this bow 2 months ago, new to archery I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. After lots of searching and watching reviews I found this and ordered it. After I got the bow tuned at my local bow shop and I am 100% impressed. I just harvested my first whitetail with it this past Saturday. Now I’m saving up for the dragon 10!

Great grouping but needs work to do so.

I’ll start with the bad. The whisker biscuit is completely useless. The arrows are extremely bendy and don’t shoot great at all. And the peep sight I dislike completely. I reached out to the company about fixing the peep and I got a link to a video. The video explains you can put it in a bow press or wind the bow limbs all the way down. Not only do most people not have 300 for a proper bow press but winding it down to take the string off is dangerous. Because not everyone knows how to restring and restring a bow and could forget or mess up when removing the string. Now the good. The price is unbeatable. The cams are great for the price. They are made of metal and were perfect from factory. I’m impressed by the bows ability to shoot smoothly and accurately. Once you do the few changes I did it’s a nice bow. That being said I recommend taking to an archery shop getting a new whisker and having them tune it for you. I spend around 120 for everything I needed to get this bow to my liking. Overall would buy again.

Not sure what to think

Bought this as my first compound bow as we have bow season right around the corner. Was loving it and had everything set up and dialed in right where I needed it. Came outside to take about 10 practice shots and roughly 3 shots in I used the index release and while I’m not 100% sure what exactly happened, the string just completely removed itself from the top cam. It’s no longer shootable. Maybe I can get the string reattached but I worry about it happening again. At least the limbs didn’t crack/break I guess.

Good budget bow with some issues

The good:

The price is the biggest pro. It's lightweight and has a very smooth draw cycle. It comes with everything you need to get started in archery.

The bad:

I noticed that my actual draw weight was far away (60.4lbs) from the spec 68lbs @29" draw. I did add some twist to the cables to bring it up to the 68lbs but it dropped my ATA to 29.5".

The cam timing was also off and not able to be corrected with cable twists. Closest I can get it is 1/8-1/4" away for one cam. If I put a half twist in the cable to try to correct it the gap then goes to the other cam. I'll be adding a peep tuner to one cable to try to get it closer this weekend.

The arrows are complete trash if you have over 60lb draw. I also replaced the rest with a fall away rest since I saw a lot of rubbing on the fletching with all arrows. The wrist release feels extremely cheap and I would be afraid of a misfire while drawing back.

All in all it's not a perfect bow but for the price I'm still pretty happy with it. It will definitely kill deer!

Definitely worth the money

This bow came just like you’ve seen in the review videos. Everything was packaged well and nothing was missing or damaged. That being said, most of the accessories I replaced from a previous bow. I did keep the sight that came with it and after removing the small plastic disc in the battery compartment the light works great! I got the bow set up to my liking and within an hour and a half I was grouping super consistently and I’ve had no issues. The picture is of 40 yards. Not an extreme distance but about as far as I’ll need to shoot so I’m happy with it!

Great bow for the money - just upgrade accessories

This is hands down the best new 70 lb compound bow on the market for the money. The bare bow is the real value. You will need to upgrade the arrows and the rest at least. I also upgraded peep sight and stabilizer. Also get a good release.

Picture is the grouping at 65 yards.

1/12/24 update

Well upon unboxing upon purchasing I was impressed with the bow for the price. My grandson loved was elated to get a “real” bow for Christmas. He got to shoot it for two days less than 100 shots. You see the results in the pictures. I have reached out to email address that was in the box. Awaiting response and will update this as this process goes along. 1/12/24 update. Ordered another bow and return the original. Got the new bow inspected in very carefully everything seems to be where and as it should. Got it put together and let my grandson shoot the heck out of it. So far so good. One thing I will say the arrows that come with it are very nice for the price and durable he misses sometimes and hit the ply wood backer and none on them have broken they just take the abuse and keep going. Going to move the star rating up we will see how it holds up long term and I will update the review but so far so good.

I'm incredibly impressed with this bow

I had never tried archery and a friend of mine asked me to go shooting with him. I did not want to spend a lot of money since I was not sure if I would like the sport. Archery equipment is incredibly expensive, and every component is sold separately. This bow is absolutely great! It comes complete with everything, including arrows and carrying case. I would recommend getting extra arrows though, if you are a beginner. I got a few stuck on the wood :(. This bow shoots great. I LOVE IT!

jacob seace

nice

I like the bow the only downfall I have about it is the arrows that come with the bow they only last two shots then they fall apart or break but I love the bow other wise took ten minutes to set up I got mine set on 59lb and it's perfect it came with everything that showed I also don't like the release it came with very cheaply made but other then that I'm very happy and would like to test out more by them

Awesome quality for beginners

My son saved up his money from cutting grass this summer to purchase him a new compound. After watching about a dozen reviews on YouTube he decided this was the one for him. I have shot everything from a Bear whitetail hunter II from the 90’s to a Mathew’s Halon6 2017 and I think this bow has surprised me more than any other. The ability to adjust the draw length without having to purchase any additional items and no bow press needed is amazing. The range of poundage is almost unmatched. The fit and finish on the bow is fantastic. Anyone at just about any age looking to get into archery or bow hunting should stop and consider this company. From the camo pattern to design is spectacular. I can’t wait to see my son grow with this bow and learn archery and develop a love for it as I have. 10/10 recommend

Loranzo Shorty

Poor quality

Do not buy. The bow is very cheap..the fasteners strip and some wear to short to use. The bristles on the rest were so hard that the arrow got pull off the string when pulled due to it getting stuck at the rest. I expected cheap for a beginner bow but this is way worse then I expected. We had to return because we could not use without, fasteners will not tighten.

Must make sure BOTH CAMS ARE SYNCED/TIMED

For the MOST part the bow will shoot pretty accurate without being 100% in tune but regardless of groupings when you have a tight group and hitting pretty decent but go to paper test and take an hour doing adjustments but never achieving a bullet whole it's time to check the timing, my bottom cam hits the stop while my top cam has 3/4 an inch to go and I'm consistently get a tear in the paper (knock high, 0 horizontal rips)(always 2-4 inch knock high. Once you get the bow in a press and but levels on it you can get it perfect. I'd recommend getting it tuned out if the box and if you take it to a bow tech at shop make sure you are pulling it back and testing it after said adjustments. It needs to fit YOU not the bow tech. Upgrade the arrow holder to whisker buiscut or drop away. This is a must. Then I'd go for maybe a better wrist sling and stabilizer but out of the box you can kill a deer with this. My bow is set to 65lbs at 31 inch draw. Good luck and enjoy your bow. Learn it in and out and have fun with it. Don't rush learning the bow and you'll be alright

Here's a great compound bow that is a reasonable price! best buy for under $300.00!

Could have come with a better arrow rest. The one it comes with damages the arrow flights.
