They claim "110dB", but the MAX sound level that I could get, which only occurs briefly, is 82dB at regulation 1 m (actually 35 inches to give them all the benefit of any doubt). Just one room away it is inaudible when LISTENING for it. No way this is going to alert anyone who's not in the same room. Also, it hogs BOTH outlets, despite claims that it does not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm just trying to save people an unpleasant experience of being lied to for their hard earned money.

Unreliable and expensive piece of junk!
Southern California Edison shut my power off a few years ago and I lost several hundred dollars worth of saltwater aquarium fish. I've had it for a few months now and I thought it was working properly. As you see in the video it does not. The only way I found out was when Edison shut off my power for 18 hours because of the Southern California wildfires. please don't rely on this piece of junk. Waste of $25 plus tax.

Surprising Loud Alarm
I had planned on using this for a chest freezer in our basement however, I ran into a problem because I have the chest freezer and a dehumidifier plugged into thenelectrical outlet. Due to how the plugs are made, I could not use both outlets as this device blocked the one above it so I will need to find a different use for it or find another place to plug my dehumidifier in. This would also be beneficial for a sump pump. The alarm is very loud. I tested it by unplugging the device to mimic an electrical failure. The red light flashed and the alarm sounded. There is a button on the side where you can increase or decrease the volume as well as a cancel alert button.

It does what it's supposed to do
Has a somewhat decent loud alert with various sound options & volume control. It is very worth its price.

Simple power failure alarm, flexible sound settings
Very simple design - plug it in and it works.
You can adjust what the alarm sounds like and how loud the alarm is. I wish it could get a little louder just because I have it a long way from where we typically are.
I tested by turning off the breaker, sure enough, immediately sounded the alarm. Turning back on the power or pushing the silence button stops the alarm.

Great alert orotection for electrical power loss
We’ve all heard the stories, or even worse experienced having a fridge power interruption and lost valuable groceries. This simple device is perfect, especially for the refrigerator or freezer in the garage, to alert you should power somehow be lost. Excellent little product.

Easy to install and works great
I was able to install this easily with the help of an electric drill. The screws that come with the doorbell are trash and strips easily so be careful. I only installed 1 push button because I only needed 1 for the front of the house. If I needed to install both, I will need to find additional screws because one stripped so easily. The installation took like a minute, I just had to put to screws in and mount the push button. I like that the volume can be adjusted so easily and so many tones to pick from. I prefer the classic chimes but do enjoy a fun tune once a while. Definitely plug and play, no need to connect to anything. I love this kit minus the screws. Great deal at under $20.
