Well worth it if you don’t have Bluetooth

Works like a charm. Currently in a 2018 Mack dump truck blue tooth button on head unit doesn’t work. Got this been decades since I used an fm transmitter. Easy set up. Just use the lower frequency channels and you’ll have no interference.

Works well to stream music from my phone to the older car stock audio

Works well to stream music from my phone to the car’s audio using the stock FM radio on my 1999 Camaro SS.

As of phone call, the car is quite loud so regardless of device it doesn’t work that good, but that’s the car’s fault more than anything

handy dandy

This thing is awesome! Gives an old car with a stock stereo the ability to connect with new tech. I’m happy I can listen to music from my phone through my car speakers now. 🤘🏼

Welp.....

This is the first time I ever used a transmitter before and I bought this wondering how well would it work and... it's not good. The unit I compared it to was the Nulaxy transmitter and it good.

First off I have use Scosche branded stuff for a while so I'm biased on this brand but for this its a miss. The look and quality of the unit is good. The huge dial and center button makes it easy to use out the gate. Especially location of where there unit is. The dial is easy to use the display if perfect for it's size

It has 2 Charge ports on being and A-USB and a Type-C USB. I haven't tried the A port, but I used the C port and this is where the Nulaxy takes points away from the Scosche, because the Scosche only Fast Charges to where the Nulaxy Super Fast Charges if you have a android. That a hit or a miss depending on the person.

And this is the biggest disappointment. The call quality to playing music is just terrible you hear static the whole time unless you want to hear music or whoever is calling at a whisper.

For how much it is at base price above it competition you would think this would be the Cadillac/Bimmer/Benz/or Bentley of the bunch but it's not. My overall unfortunately is a 2 out of 5. This is like a good looking person with a bad manners. The money isn't worth it. Try the Nulaxy

Looks & Works Perfectly!

Even though the driver dropped it off at the wrong location, I managed to go hunt it down. This Bluetooth Transmitter by Scosche does the job perfectly with no static, fast BT connection every time, looks very sleek and minimal, easy to set up and looks perfect in my RD1 CRV. No more listening to static.

Pleasantly Surprised!

If I’m being completely honest, my expectations were pretty low - and I have to say I am quite surprised how well this works. Setup is easy and the clarity exceeded my expectations. Vehicle used is a 2002 Acura RSX with the stock head unit (CD/Cassette combo) and stock speakers. I would recommend this item for those looking for a simple plug and play Bluetooth solution for older vehicles.

The underdog packing a punch!

Bought this item as a last hope that it would have decent quality and connectivity, But it actually ended up packing a punch with great quality audio and best part, very very clear Bluetooth calls where the person onnthe receiving phone end could hear me without background noise over taking my calls. I highly recommend this product.

Fm transmitter by Scosche!

I give this thing a five star review. It took one minute to set up. It was very easy. I turned on the Bluetooth on my phone. I plugged in the transmitter into the socket, I searched for the device on my phone. I then paired it with my phone, I chose an empty station on the FM radio 89.9, After pairing the device with my phone, I press the channel button on the side of the transmitter, And tune it to the station I needed, which was 89.9 so it would match my FM radio, Once it connected, the static went away, And I could now use Bluetooth to play music or make a phone call!

Great Sound, Minimal Design - Very Big, Not Great for Shallow Sockets

Overall this is a pretty good BlueTooth/FM/Charger adapter - the sound quality is great, adequate charging power for a portable dash cam & MagSafe charger, and the style is nice and minimal. I'd like to give it 5 stars, because it does work well, but I do have two complaints:

1) The feel of the dial face and build overall is kind of cheap - very light, no real responsiveness when turning. It's not terrible and isn't much to complain about when this is under $20. At worst I'd drop to 4.5 stars on this.

2) However, it is *VERY* large in my opinion. See attached picture in comparison with my roughly 7 year old FM transmitter, which had dual USB charging ports as well. It is also very deep with regards to the socket spring contacts, and as a result does not fully latch inside the socket of my 2007 Volvo. The older one on left has the spring contacts much further forward on the body, and can fully catch inside the rim of the socket, requiring effort to pull back out. The Scosche has them *much* further back, and does not have them fully go into the socket. I'm sure this depth varies between car manufacturers, but this is enough of an issue that I'm dropping my review all the way to three stars - if the body springs were further forward, this would still be fine for deeper sockets, but it's very unreliable for even light contact, let alone when turning the dial.

I have this is a place where I shouldn't regularly need to touch it or need to worry about contact jostling it loose, but it's still a pretty significant issue. I'm very likely to go back to just using the older one, had only gotten a new one so I'd have a USB C port for direct connecting my MagSafe charger, but can get away with using an adapter to stick with older USB A ports.
