I have an old 1940s Zenith radio/phonograph console but wanted to put an updated record player into it. Using the old components is dangerous. This record player fit beautifully into the cabinet and the speakers are hidden in the hollow inner part. I have no issues with the playback or sound quality (just note that you’re not going to get some kind of Bose experience from this player) and it’s perfect for what I was specifically looking for. We’ve hidden the components in our old cabinet, but the player and speakers themselves are very nice looking if you plan on sitting them on a credenza or side table. It took 2 minutes to set everything up and we were playing records right away.

Perfect for the office!
I needed a turntable for casual record play in my office. I have a nice component stereo system that I built in the 1970s and 1980s but it’s in the den for my high fidelity listening pleasure. I wanted something inexpensive but that sounded good in order to play albums in my office while I am working. This fit the bill nicely! It was actually the third item I tried. The other two just didn’t sound good. This one is absolutely perfect for what I wanted and it was quite economical. One very tiny quibble, plugging in the auxiliary cable disables the turntable entirely so I can’t leave a CD player plugged in while listening to albums. It’s a very small issue. It’s also supports Bluetooth input and I can see myself using the feature at some point.

This little record player is really nice. It's very basic, but for the price it is a good little spinner. Great sound as well. The only problem i had was that the needle it came with was VERY sensetive to any scratches on my older records, like incredibly sensitive, we're talking about barely noticeable
scratches, that my old player did not pick up, however it was a quick easy fix, i just replaced the needle and all was well, no more skipping. If you're looking for a good sounding, basic record player at a good price, this one is a very good option. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this player.

Ordered this to replace our Victrola. Yes. Our Victrola is huge and not covered and the felt collects dust like you wouldn't believe, no matter how often I dust. I was constantly cleaning it. It was also big and bulky and the sound was not smooth.
Ordered this, which was about $30 more than our old one. Was nervous about the quality and sound but was pleasantly surprised at how much nicer it is. It takes up a lot less space and it super light. It was easy to set up and I love that the speakers can go vertically or horizontally. I also absolutely love that it is covered!
The sound it much smoother than our V, though not as loud. Bonus points it's Bluetooth as well. We've yet to try that out but it's a nice option to have. We use our record player a lot. Our birds like classical musical and swing so we play a lot of records for them as well. While the sound is not base filled or super loud, I feel it's much smoother and less irritable? It still gives off that recors aound and vibe yet eases the heavy crackling, If that makes sense.
While I feel the price is slightly high, given its all plastic, I do love this player much more than our old one. And it goes with the decor as well.

THE GOOD: I neglected to mention in the video that there IS a volume control as well.
It comes with a protective cover over the fragile needle. You slide the cover towards the end of the arm it is mounted on, and the cover slides right off.
The instructions are excellent and SHOULD BE FOLLOWED when putting the turntable and its speakers away or packing them for transport.
THE BAD: this is a delicate piece of equipment. They ALL were back in the days of record layers.
There is s 7 day, 6 month and (useless) 12 month warranty. By 12 months, you are paying to get the thing fixed, so where’s the warranty in THAT?!
Obviously, I don’t know how this was put This turntable is belt driven (not gear driven). How long before the belt snaps ? That is anyone’s guess and it depends on how much it is used and whether you have stuck the record player in an attic or cold or dampish basement or not—lol.
With luck, you’ll be able to play all of the records in your collection and transfer your music to your computer and burn CD’s long before the belt wears out. It might be possible to purchase a generic replacement belt but the ndtruction manual doesn’t offer ti sell replacements. A person would have to contact them.
A good question is whether one can buy a replacement needle. They are NOT a universal fit, or at least haven’t been in the past. The instructions say to replace the cartridge (which contains the needle) after 250 hours of use and replace the belt every year.
I feel that the compact size, included speakers, Bluetooth capability, ability to play ALL record speeds, and a radio cable jack port (no radio jack cable included) make this a good buy for the price.
