Not the biggest fan of these headphones. Hard to open with one hand, as the lid is kind of awkward to flip open with the thumb and also closes easily by itself. Putting the head ones back into the case can be clumsy and awkward as well, let alone taking them out. I could imagine it being incredibly difficult to take out when it's cold. The sound is decent, sure, but the user experience of pulling the buds out and putting them back in is a cumbersome, clumsy experience.

Disappointing sound profile and extremely flimsy case hinge
I wanted to like these, but both the audio performance and build quality fall short.
The sound signature feels noticeably unbalanced. The midrange lacks clarity, leaving vocals and instruments sounding somewhat buried. At higher volumes, the bass becomes grainy making the overall audio output feel muddy and congested.
The biggest issue, however, is the charging case. The plastic feels cheap and lightweight, more like a generic pair under $30 than a quality product. Worse, the lid hinge has almost no resistance; the lid struggles to stay open on its own and snaps shut if you tilt the case even slightly forward or brush against it. I'm not sure if I just received a defective unit or if this weak hinge is a design flaw across all of them, but getting the earbuds in and out without fighting the lid is a constant frustration.

Wireless earbuds
These fit so strange in my ears and cause them to rub raw. They also are hard to the touch. Like it won’t let me change the volume or answer calls for some reason. I’m definitely tapping in the right spot. The sound quality isn’t really the best either. It’s pretty low. And the battery dies very vey fast.

Sennheiser Quality
I’ve been using the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open earbuds for a couple of weeks now and I love them.
They’re super lightweight and the open design feels way more comfortable than in-ear buds. Sound quality is crisp and balanced with good punch in the bass.
Battery life is impressive and pairing with my phone and laptop was quick, and Bluetooth 5. They’re perfect for walks or working out since I can still hear what’s going on around me.
Overall, these are my new go-to earbuds for everyday use—comfortable, reliable, and sound great!

Surprisingly comfortable, less dynamic sound than I was expecting
These are surprisingly comfortable to wear for extended periods. I normally wear closed style earbuds with silicone tips that sit firmly in my ears because I have small ears and haven't had much success with open style earbuds in the past. Usually, they fall out of my ears. Amazingly, these Sennheiser ACCENTUM earbuds fit my ears and haven't fallen out once while doing normal activities like walking or cleaning. I'm currently recovering from surgery, so I haven't tested them while doing high intensity exercise, but I can tilt my head sideways and do gentle yoga style movements and they stay in.
I own a pair of wired, over the ears Sennheiser headphones which I love and had high expectation for these earbuds. While the sound quality of these is good, I don't think I would have known these were Sennheiser if I were blindly testing them. With these, the sound is clear and bright, but the bass is lacking in my opinion. The sound quality is miles above your average set of earbuds, but not as dynamic sounding as my Soundcore closed ear ones.
One big thing I like about these is that they let me hear what's going around me. That's a huge safety advantage while out walking in my neighborhood and allows me to stay connected to the world around me. These will pause your music if you take one earbud out, which is convenient for having a quick conversation. You can also restart the music and listen with one earbud.
I had zero issues connecting these to my phone, but haven't been able to get them to connect to my laptop (that's probably a computer issue but the usual solutions of updating drivers, restarting etc. haven't fixed it yet). These are supposed to be able to connect simultaneously to multiple devices (and I assume they do), but unfortunately, I haven't been able to test that since I can't get them to connect to my computer.
I didn't know if I would like the bone color, but it's growing on me. It's darker than the seller's pics and reminds me of the color of old school desktop computers from the early 90s. It's giving a retro vibe.
The case is small, easy to carry and has a magnet close top. The earbuds also magnetically connect to the inside of the case, so that even if the case gets opened and turned upside down, the earbuds won't fall out. It's a functional design.
Overall, these are high quality earbuds just like you'd expect from Sennheiser and you can't go wrong with them, especially for fit and comfort. Although I wish the sound was more robust, they are the best sounding open design earbuds that I’ve tried and I would reorder them.

Fantastic sound, but lacking a bit in comfort
The Sennheiser brand always comes with great sound quality, build quality, etc., and these don't disappoint! The case is fine and fits the buds nicely, and the buds are really well built. They're easy to connect and operate, and the taps on the side for different functions work better than other name brand earbuds I've used.
Battery life is phenomenal, and I love the open sound when I wear them. I prefer to have a bit of a connection to the outside world! My only complaint is the comfort. They're one size fits all, and in my experience they left my ears a bit sore. I tried changing the angle, etc., but the hard plastic against the ear doesn't feel great for me. There definitely are people who will feel great wearing them, but I'm not one of them. However, it's not significant enough for me to not enjoy the earbuds because the sound is so nice!

Manageable and functions decently well.
I often have trouble with earbuds staying in my ears, and I'm always on the hunt for a pair that can become my daily driver. Thankfully I was able to grab a pair of the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open Wireless Earbuds, which comes with the buds, rechargeable case, manual and USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Connectivity was quick, and setup required little effort. I've been using these in the garden and I'm happy to report, they do in fact just fit. Although they can have a tendency to slip a little bit over time, they have stayed put surprisingly well, even when I shake my head around. The sound is clear, bass is not tinny, but well rounded and overall is pretty decent. The case is surprisingly light, almost feels like a demo, and has a magnetic closure, but does flip open so I'm hoping I'll be able to find a case for this to help keep the buds more secure. As far as phone calls goes, audio is pretty clear, but I do find I need to turn my volume up on occasion. Overall, the controls are basic, manageable and it functions decently well for the price.

Comfortable to wear and great soft quality
The Accentum Open earbuds are lightweight and comfortable to wear. My daughter is very picky on the fit of general earbuds but she hasn’t complained about this one yet.
These have an open-ear design which is what I prefer because it is important to hear the surroundings when I walk or run.
The sound quality is great. It is overall smooth and clear. It can be easily connected to other devices using Bluetooth.
The case is a little weak and flimsy so I am not sure about the durability in the long run.
The earbuds are not supported by any of the Sennheiser APPS as of right now.

Lightweight - clear sound!
First of all, they have a great design and are incredibly lightweight, once they’re in your ears, you barely feel them! The color is lovely, a soft, neutral beige that looks clean and modern.
The battery life is very good, lasting a long time, and the charging is quick. The sound quality is excellent, super clear with strong volume and solid bass. Even though you can still hear some outside noise (due to the open design), the listening experience is still very enjoyable and immersive.
One personal note: after wearing them for a long period, my ears start to feel a bit sensitive. But to be fair, this happens to me with many earbuds, so it might just be how my ears are. I’m still on the hunt for something that’s more comfortable for extended use.
So far, I’ve only used them with one device. I tried to connect them to a second one, but it didn’t work right away… I’m still figuring that part out. But aside from that, they’ve worked very well and I’m happy with the overall performance.

Open Design Earbuds with Frustrating Touch Controls - Not Your Typical Sennheiser Experience
I had high expectations for the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open Wireless Earbuds, but my experience has been mixed at best. While they deliver on their promise of environmental awareness through their open design, several technical issues and the overall quality fall short of what I typically expect from the Sennheiser name.
Core Performance & Features: The open design is the defining feature here - these earbuds sit outside your ear canal, allowing full awareness of your surroundings. This makes them suitable for outdoor activities or office environments where you need to hear ambient sounds. The sound quality is adequate with a noticeable bass emphasis, though it lacks the clarity and balance I associate with premium audio products. Battery life is a bright spot, delivering the promised 28 hours with the charging case. The IPX4 rating provides basic splash protection for light rain or sweat.
Pros / Key Advantages:
• Exceptional Comfort: The lightweight open design eliminates ear fatigue - you barely feel them during extended wear
• Situational Awareness: Perfect for runners, cyclists, or anyone who needs to hear their environment
• Long Battery Life: 28-hour total playtime means less frequent charging
• Simple Connectivity: Bluetooth 5.3 provides stable connections without app dependencies
• Single Earbud Mode: Flexibility to use just one earbud when needed
Cons / Areas for Improvement:
• Erratic Touch Controls: The most frustrating issue - earbuds randomly pause playback without being touched, disrupting the listening experience
• No App Support: Cannot connect to Sennheiser Smart Control App for EQ adjustments or customization
• Bass-Heavy Default Tuning: Sound profile needs EQ correction but no built-in way to adjust it
• Cheap Case Construction: Thin plastic lid with weak hinges that won't stay open - disappointing at this price point
• Signal Interruption: Covering ears causes temporary audio disconnection, though it reconnects quickly
• Brand Confusion: These are from Sennheiser-Hearing (Sonova), not the traditional Sennheiser pro audio division
Value and Conclusion: At their premium price point, these earbuds struggle to justify the cost. The random pausing issue alone significantly impacts usability, and the lack of app support means you're stuck with the bass-heavy default sound signature. While the open design serves its niche purpose well and comfort is excellent, the technical shortcomings and build quality issues make these hard to recommend over competitors. They're best suited for users who specifically need the open design for safety reasons and can tolerate the quirks. If you're seeking the traditional Sennheiser audio excellence or need reliable touch controls, you'll likely be disappointed. Consider alternatives unless the open design is your primary requirement.

Ok headphones
For $130, I would expect headphones to include noise cancelling or to be waterproof, and these offer neither, so I question the value for the money. The sound quality is good, as I would expect from Sennheiser. The fit is fine and I don't have any issues with them falling out like I do with silicone-tipped earphone pods, however a secure fit with these feels much different than the afforementioned style - when they're locked in snugly, they still feel light and breezy, so if you're used to a really tight fit this might be disconcerting. Again, I haven't had any trouble with them slipping, though! As another reviewer mentioned, the lid to the case is a bit loose, but it does snap closed with what seems to be a magnet and that stays shut well enough. Set up was so.ple and I had them connected within 30 seconds of opening the box. Battery life I haven't had a chance to delete, which is awesome, but I noticed that a sticker had been added changing the reported battery life, which is perplexing to me so I figured I'd note that (see pic). I'm pleased with these overall, but I do think that for $130, your headphones budget is probably better spent elsewhere, unless you can't stand bone conducting styles, which achieve a similar hear-through effect.

Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open Wireless Earbuds – A Niche Design for Specific Preferences
I recently received the Sennheiser ACCENTUM Open Wireless Earbuds, and I am somewhat happy with them. Having used my Galaxy Buds for some time, these Sennheiser earbuds present a different listening experience, primarily due to their open design.
Unlike my Galaxy Buds, these Sennheiser earbuds don't really offer noise canceling; you can still hear your surroundings quite clearly. While my Galaxy Buds also feature a function that recognizes when someone is trying to talk to me and then temporarily cancels noise cancellation so I can hear them, the Sennheiser's design inherently provides that environmental awareness without needing a specific feature.
Therefore, I believe these Sennheiser ACCENTUM earbuds are specifically marketing to a certain group of users who prefer the "open wireless" version of earbuds – those who prioritize situational awareness or simply dislike the sealed-off feeling of traditional noise-canceling earbuds. If you fall into that niche and are looking for dynamic sound with the convenience of an open design, these could be a good fit. However, if noise cancellation is a priority, these may not be the ideal choice.

Comfortable open ear earbuds (Update: Some issues with WebEx on Windows 10, solved?)
I was very excited to try these Sennheiser open ear earbuds because I rarely wear earbuds due to how uncomfortable I find them, so I typically resort to the most comfortable pair of cans I've ever owned, the Sennheiser Momentum 4s. Unfortunately, cans aren't always practical, and I have longed for an earbud I didn't hate to wear. I own the original Google Pixel Buds, as well as the wired version of the Pixel Buds, so most of my experience with earbuds is with those, although long ago I also owned a pair of Raycons that I didn't hate. I don't hate the Pixel Buds, either, I think they're very convenient and well designed, I just hate the way they feel, and I'm aware that's largely a me problem.
These Accentum earbuds paired to the first device, my Macbook Pro, very quickly and easily, but when I wanted to pair to my phone, a Pixel 8, as well, I could not figure out how to do it until I dug out the wordless instruction pamphlet. To pair with additional devices, you must put the earbuds in your ears and touch both simultaneously for three seconds. I struggled with this because my hair kept getting in the way and preventing the sensors from realizing I was touching both of them at the same time. After getting my messy hair under control, they showed up in my Bluetooth pairing menu and worked without issue.
I primarily used them for audible background notifications throughout the day, which they handled well. I later listened to some music for the purposes of this review and I have no complaints about the sound quality, but I am not an audiophile, so I don't really know what one would complain about outside of the obvious tinny/echoey/generally ugly sounding problems, which these do not suffer from. It is quite easy to pause and unpause them, as it only takes a single tap on either side to do so, but I didn't understand that the diagram instructing me how to turn the volume up and down was saying to long press the right earbud for volume up and long press the left earbud for volume down. I kept swiping both of them and just ended up pausing and unpausing my music over and over again.
They do work one at a time if you like to keep an ear free, and I did do a livestream with my wife where we each took one earbud.. There were some issues getting Streamlabs to pick up both of our mics at the same time, but I think that's more a Mac issue than a Sennheiser issue. Audio mixing for streaming on Macs is way more complicated than it should be.
These also do not feel uncomfortable in my ears the way many earbuds do. It's very obviously an open ear design, and I can hear people around me easily unless I have the volume cranked up quite high. I was able to carry on conversations with my wife with one of these earbuds in each of my ears with no issue until I was listening to music fairly loudly. Even so, I could tell that she was talking to me, I just couldn't make out what she was saying, so I was able to pause my music and respond to her. No discomfort whatsoever.
I will say I don't like the Air Pod-like aesthetic with the little stems that come out of the ears. Besides being an Android stan, the primary reason I wanted the Pixel Buids as opposed to Air Pods is that I think Air Pods look really stupid. I feel like these aren't as aggressively dumb looking as Apple's version, but I still prefer Google's stemless design, which I know pics up mic audio with no issue. I'm convinced Apple only put in the stems to make it obvious you were wearing their earbuds so it could be more of a status symbol, and I don't super appreciate copycats of the design. I'm willing to forgive these for the most part because of how comfortable they are, though.
Update: Tested the on a work call through WebEx and initially the mic quality was terrible. After updating audio drivers and changing some settings (on Windows 10: Start Menu > Control Panel > Sound > Set the Accenum HEADSET on both the playback and recording tabs as both the default device and default communications device) it seems to have improved based on my own testing. Will have to see how it goes in my next meeting.

Never Be Without Music Again!!
…well, I wouldn’t put these in when I was dying my hair or anything, though. XD
The earbuds and the care are a matte creamy white color. They are smaller than my A*rpod case. The USB C to A cable included is black for some reason.
>>Important: You have to charge (plug them into the cable with the cable in a USB A port) them for 15 seconds before the case will let you pair them to anything! I’m not sure if it matters if you use their cable. It charges fine on another cable, though.
They are a bit big for my ears, so it felt awkward at first, but my ears got used to them quickly. I don’t know how to describe ear hole size, so I’ll just tell you I’m 5’2”. After I got used to them, I didn’t notice them at all. They are light weight. They don’t hurt even if I have them in my ears for a long time. I don’t use earphones more than about an hour, though. They didn’t fall out when I did the dishes with them in. They haven’t made my ears sweaty even though it’s hot.
It’s not hard to connect to my iP*d Mini 7. I already had the Bluetooth screen open and it showed up as “ACCENTUM Open” immediately. So yeah, there were no connection issues for me :)
The sound is good :) It feels like H*zier is whispering in my ear! XD I didn’t notice a difference from my A*rpods or my M*nster ones. So said, I’m not an audiophile, but I can still tell these are a lot better than my no-name open ear earbuds.
If I pull one out while music is playing, it stops for a moment and the remaining bud will begin to play music. Then if I stick it in again. It will completely stop playing and I have to go back into iTunes to push “play” again or I can tap the earphone. You have to tap a little on the long side. Each time you tap, the “note” the earbuds play gets higher so you can keep track of how many taps you’ve done. I like the long press for changing the volume! Oh, and the instructions are just symbols and are easy to understand :)
I love these :) They’re awesome!

I’m VERY impressed!! WOW!
UPDATE: I ended up returning them. When I started you used them for longer periods at work they made my ears sore.
I got these to use at the office. I’ve tried so many open and semi-open earbuds, and most of the were duds. These are PERFECT!
Sound quality is amazing! They are VERY comfortable in both ears. They sound better than my AirPod 4! I like that there is no app because they sound great right out of the box! The touch controls work flawlessly, and you can easy control the volume, too!
I can’t comment on phone call quality because I buy earbuds for MUISC, not phone calls, so I will most likely never use them on a call.
I understand what I’ve read about the case lid being kind of flimsy, but it’s not really bothersome, upon further inspection, I don’t feel you have to worry about it breaking or anything like that.
The bone color looks lighter in images, but in person it’s definitely looks darker, again not a big deal.
I’m definitely very happy I took a chance and got them, and I definitely recommend them if you love good sound quality. Even the bass is perfect for me! 🎶🎶🎶🥰😍
