Cheap piece of junk

This is a piece of junk. We bought for my Dad. It works for about 30 seconds then stops. If you turn it off and on it will start, but then turns off again. Feels cheap. No help from troubleshooting tips.

This prodect takes out all the background noise! It has changed our life!!!

Speaker for TV

I am a heart of hearing this speaker works great for me. Easy to hook up in order to create a lot of problems.

Excellent for the hard of hearing!

This speaker has really helped my 91 year old mother hear the TV better. She has difficulty hearing and understanding what the actors are saying in shows and movies (especially when there is background music or noise). This speaker brings out the dialog and speech, somehow lessens the background noise, and makes the dialog clearer. The fact that you can take the speaker off its base and move it is a plus too! I highly recommend this speaker!

Great product!

Bought this unit for my parents and it immediately helped with my mom's hearing. Installation was super easy and it's basically plug and play ready. Easy to use and lightweight so easy to carry around. Highly recommended product!

Sound stopped working

Have had about a month. Suddenly no sound. It is fully charged. Would not recommend.

It worked great for 2 months and then crapped out, and couldn’t even get a full refund. 👎

I'm at the 8 month mark...

At around 6 months we started noticing that every word that has an "S" in it sounds like exaggerated static. Also, the volume dial at roughly the "10:00" to the "11:00" position has a volume gap resulting in a skip from "a little too low to hear" to "a little too loud". I guess the area of the connection in the volume dial that we tend to dial to (sweet spot) is worn down. Seems like it should withstand more than 8 months of use for this price point. 🤔

listen to your movie, news or favorite talk show without blasting the sound in a room. We just turn down the volumn on the tv, and if I am cooking, cleaning or sitting on the porch (within range of the base/charger that is connected to the back of the TV we can turn it up and it is loud enough. You can turn up volumn

when some on screen is whispering. I sit it on a tv tray, or small table by me. You can find it easier than looking for the TV control. WE LOVE IT. I am sending one to my 82 year old friend for Christmas.

Not that loud

Not that loud. Took me forever to figure out settings on a samsung tv. Maybe if I turn back the dolby audio, maybe it will be louder. Speaker a lone is not.

placement when you carrying it around

We love our Sereonic Portable TV speaker. Our TV is in a large living room with terrible tv speakers - so hearing it good enough mean echo and tinny noises coming from living room for sound as - we watch TV from kitchen island - With our sereonic, we can FINALLY we enjoy hearing the TV again. The sound is good - we found it best to set the sereonic on a counter behind us so we (the kitchen island) are in between TV speaker in living room and creating a surround sound effect . We hooked our Sony up to fiber-optical cord and then set MENU on Sony remote to receive - works great!!!!

Not bad!

I like the fact that I don't have to turn up the volume on my TV and can set it wherever I'm sitting.
