So initially I thought this was a battery operated light, but it does need to be plugged in. Thankfully the cable it comes with is super long and so it makes it easy to place pretty much anywhere you want it. For me, that's my toddler's bedroom. They love watching the light gently change through it's patterns and colors. The light is super bright, so I don't leave it on as a nightlight but it's a nice way to wake up or wind down the day with a little bit of colorful fun. Trying the various sound modes didn't really impress me all that much but I really don't know that I care that much since it's normal patterns and movements are plenty for me.

Party time in a small package
I have a 6-year-old daughter who loves this. This is such a small compact light that really lights up a room in the middle of the day. I am so impressed with how well this lights up the room and the colors moving. It is very impressive for such a small machine. We had another one that was four times the size and did not produce as much light and colors and patterns.
The remote is convenient as well as easy to figure out for my daughter. The base is easy to rotate and point in a direction. The only downfall to this item would be that you have to have your own USB adapter to plug it into the wall. But I feel like everything is moving in that direction.
Overall for $10. This is such a great deal and a great gift for someone's birthday. I would highly recommend this fun light.

Small Gadget, Big Nightclub Energy
The moment I plugged in this RGBP disco ball, my living room forgot it was a living room and immediately tried to become a nightclub. The lights shot around the walls like they had somewhere important to be, and the sound activation mode reacts to everything. I coughed once and it acted like the DJ just dropped the bass.
For something this small, it has confidence of a full stage setup. It’s bright, chaotic, and honestly way too exciting for its own good, which is exactly why it’s perfect. Family karaoke night instantly turned into a full production, complete with questionable dance moves and one relative who took the flashing lights as a personal invitation to relive their “glory days.”
If you want a tiny gadget that brings a lot of energy, this little disco ball will absolutely deliver. Just be prepared for your pets to look at you like you’ve lost control of the household.

Best light for the dollar
Unbelievable brightness. These moving heads punch way above their price point and easily fill a room with clean, powerful beams. Colors are vibrant, movement is smooth, and they add instant energy to events. Setup was straightforward and they’ve been reliable through multiple uses. For DJs, events, or stage lighting, this is a no brainer upgrade. Excellent value for the money.
