First thing buy some heavy mil commercial grade garbage bags to put in the sandbag. I used two bags then either put sand, or at the same price range small river rock, it has a different feel and seems easier to pickup. I got 81.2lbs in the 75 bag no problems. After filling it up I put a not with the end of the garbage bag and used duct tape. It will definitely last longer, and from someone that served in DESERT STORM the sand will not eat up the material or seams because of the bags for a good while. I throw mine in the house.no sand dust particles at all. Hope you find this helpful! If you want a more difficult lift with the same weight and your using sand wet the sand the put it in the garage bag, it definitely gives a more resistant dead weight fill. I stumbled over that one because the play sand got wet. I’m adding the trash bag picture to be helpful.

Bag split open after light use
Loved the bag for the 3 months I used it. Today the zipper separated from the stitching unfortunately. Disappointed that this product didn’t hold up after only 3 months of use. Love the design but worried about the quality. Will it order again.

Poor Stitching
I’m sending this back. The inner bag that holds the sand is coming apart at the seams. Disappointing.

Used Rice for fill!
Just a quick reference...I purchased the 75# model. I filled it with rice. I was able to fill it with a 50# sack of long grain rice from a warehouse store (S@m's Cl*b). The 50# sack filled it 100% full. I would not have been able to add anymore. I've not used it yet but like the feel of the rice.
The bag seems well made and sturdy. Pricey but if it doesn't split open it will be worth it.

Arrived with giant hole and loose sand inside
This item arrived damaged. It was apparently already used and returned as it had a giant hole and loose sand inside.

WARNING: Filling with Rice = massive weight reduction
I live in apartment and was worried about sand dust coming from the bag, so I chose to use rice instead. I was hoping the 200lb bag would still be able to hold at least 150-170lbs of rice, but was disappointed to learn that the 200lb bag only fit 120lbs of rice, and the 150lb bag only fit 100lbs of rice 🥲
Not the bags fault, but definitely a life lesson. If I could do it over I would just go with sand. The internal bag seems to have a good enough seal to keep dust from escaping. Torn between 4-5 stars, but the error was my own and the quality of the product seems good, so I’m going with 5!

Did not last (update)
I’m pretty disappointed the stitching on the 100lb sandbag split wide open after only intermittent use for nine months.

Remember: it doesn't come with the sand
I gave a 3 star rating for a neutral rating. Its not bad, but its not great either. My ole man bought this for me thinking it would be awesome!!!! A sweet thought, but, to his surprise their was no sand included! 😅 read the fine print yall!!! Also, I stressed to him that I can go to sportsman's or big 5, even Walmart, and get a 75lb sand bag with the sand inside made from similar material for less cost...in my opinion, this is a purchase for people who just wanna throw money around and spend more than you actually need too.. kinda doesn't make sense to spend this much on an empty sac. HOWEVER, if you dont mind the separate purchase for the sand, the material is decent and looks as if it would last quite a while! No lie, Good quality material... this product is not bad physcially... the correlation between pricing and what you get just doesn't make sense to me. So, for me, it's not worth the buy. A small military duffle bag filled with 75lbs worth of crap would be just as good.

Was great until the seam ripped
I bought this in December, it is now August, I probably used this once a week. It is a great workout tool. However it could not hold up to the abuse as the seam ripped and it began to leak sand. It is now no longer usable.

Made in China.
I bought this because the questions section said it was made in SOCAL. It is not. Very disappointed. Bag looks like it is constructed ok but i would have paid an extra 10 dollars and got the Rogue made in America.

Great product
Bought to leave at my parents house for workouts while visiting. I’ve historically bought the rogue bags but found this a little less money and no shipping. Figured for an occasional use, I would try it out. I was pleasantly surprised at the exceptional quality and ease of filling (as good or better than the rogue bags). Definitely recommend!!

Feel like a beast, cry like a baby
Someone bought me this as a random present. I was blown away and devastated simultaneously, being humbled by the gift and shook by the expected workouts.
The material is solid, sturdy, and takes a hit well—much unlike my body. Sand was super easy to fill up, and that may be the last time you use the word "easy" when speaking of this bag. It will push your limits, and you will come out stronger from it.

Hole in the 150lb!!
Very disappointed. Ordered the 150lb sandbag and only a week has gone by and there is a hole! The sand is directly visible through this hole.
I ordered a replacement to give a second chance. I hope this doesn’t happen again. These bags should be durable to last long time. Hopefully I just got a rare faulty one.

If your looking for a awesome sandbag u found it.
These bags are awsome same high quality as other big brands. I have both the 100lb and the 150lb. I would honestly buy a 200lb and up bags if they made them too. These things take a beating ive thown then and abused them with no sign of wear. Highly recommend.

Time to LEVEL UP!!!
As my journey to continue developing my home gym continues I really wanted to add a strongman bag. I opted for the 150lb bag option from Shogun but was concerned for how long a bag like this would last versus an actual atlas stone. Please keep in mind these are used in similar ways but in retrospect this bag has so many more options from a functional use standpoint and also does not require additional equipment to use that a stone would need.
To my surprise the bag arrived and upon initial inspection you can clearly tell this was carefully designed and built to take a beating. The stitching, Velcro and zipper used are all really strong and after using a few different times there is no signs of the bag coming open or sand leaking out.
I filled this bag with a slightly heavier and more dense sand fill which when filled as seen in the picture weighs in at 160.8lbs. Even with this the bag still is holding strong.
As of today with a few uses and initial opinion about quality and design I find no flaws with this bag and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying it if you want to add such a strength implement into your workout options.

Thick material and very robust.
Great piece of equipment. I'm new to this, but the construction of this is great. It has double hook and loop closures plus a zipper. The material is very thick and robust. I only filled it to 100lbs, but that is a workout in itself. I lifted and tossed this over my shoulder and none of the sand I used as a filler came out.

Really Impressed!
Quality of the fabric and stitching is great. The inner bag makes filling easy and there are layers of velco and a zipper to secure it. Love it!
