Awesome!
This thing is awesome, I love it! I use it for smoking Old Fashioned's, but have also smoked cheese and deviled eggs in it. Some have complained that smoke leaks out, but that's to be expected, and adds to the overall effect.

I do like this smoker and I intend on using it a lot. With that said, it falls short in two areas.
First of all, the timing. The instructions give you recommended smoking times for various items and frankly, you need to double or triple them. I smoked some uncured chorizo and it took a while to get any flavor in it (used the included hickory). The instructions need to be adjusted a bit.
Next - even though the design is great - nice magnetic base that holds the cube tightly - smoke leaks out pretty badly, mostly through the door at the hinge.
As for durability - aside from the fact that I dropped and shattered a vial of woodchips, it's well-built and will hold up to normal wear-and-tear. It's also very versatile, you can add a lot of things to it.
The smoke from the blower unit - it does a nice job keeping the smoke down here. If you look at the design and the hose end, it probably could be used for more than just working with edible items...and wood chips.
A few annoyances that don't take away from the value of this: First, you need to bring your own lighter/torch. Next, the wood, like any decent smoking chips, weeps and it kind of catches in the cup, but it's best if you wipe it down after each use to avoid gunk building up. Finally, the box is acrylic. If you've ever used smoke around acrylic, you'll know that after 1-2 uses the smell is permanent. If it was glass, the smell could be "wiped" away without issue. This may make storage a little tricky if you want to avoid smelling it later.

This cocktail smoker is a really cool piece of kit. It produces a surprising amount of smoke from just a tiny pinch of wood chips, which makes it both efficient and fun to use. It is super-quiet too (though that doesn't matter too much because you'll most likely want to use it either outside or under an already noisy vent hood in the kitchen).
It’s honestly just enjoyable to play around with and watch in action. Beyond the novelty, it does a great job adding a smoky flavor to drinks—and even works well with things like cheeses if you want to experiment a bit.
The included variety of wood chips is a nice touch and gives you plenty of options to try different flavor profiles. Build quality across all the components feels solid, and the included serving tray is a great addition that ties everything together nicely.
Overall, this is a fun, well-made gadget that actually delivers on both experience and results.

This smoker is fantastic—great appearance, nice quality material, and it feels solid and durable right out of the box. The magnetic base and cover are a great touch, making it easy to handle and use without worrying about parts shifting around. Everything about it just feels well made and thoughtfully designed.
The smoke production works great, and you can easily control how much you use depending on your setup. It has a good, reliable pump and performs consistently. I’ve been using it to smoke cheeses and meats for party boards, and it adds a perfect touch of flavor. I used a regular lighter, but I’d recommend a long-reach lighter or mini torch for even easier use. Overall, a high-quality, versatile tool that really elevates your presentation.

Coolest thing I've ever. I love living in the 21st century 😂♥️ Easy to use and great quality. I was going to treat myself and maybe show off a little when guests are over…but now I am considering getting another as a gift for my dad (the hardest one to shop for, lol.) Since it’s easy to use and great quality, even my older parents can use this with no problem. The flavor it gives off is so much better than something pre-bottled or packaged from the store, and you smoke whatever you want, lol!
this is such a great item to have for a next-level, at-home bar setup or keep it in your arsenal for when you don’t know what to get someone! Overall, great quality and presentation.

I strongly suspect that when we've been treated to this bit of showmanship in restaurants, they were also adding liquid smoke to the cocktails themselves, because after doing this, the smokiness simply doesn't linger long enough of penetrate beyond the surface area of the liquor. You'll get a better whiff if you have a snifter-shaped glass rather than a standard DOF glass, but it will still fade long before you finish your drink. The cherry wood was very nice while it lasted at least! Also while it came with a few replacement filters, the screen feels like it'll get worn out quite quickly so it probably should've come with a lot more. Clean-up was quite fast, and storage is made convenient by everything fitting inside the cube itself when not in use.
As others have mentioned, our main issue was smoke leakage while in use. It comes out of everywhere, so it could really use better sealing. I feel like the best time of year for smoked cocktails is winter, but I'm sure not everyone wants to sit outdoors in the cold to use this. We used a fan to help dissipate it after, and thankfully it didn't set off the smoke alarm.
The construction feels ok, with thick acrylic and strong magnets for the base, but the sealing needs work. Since you can get smoking guns that are probably just as in/effective for 1/4 the cost, I'm not sure the materials used justify the exorbitant price tag.
We did have fun with this, but all-in-all, it is an expensive party trick/conversation starter.

As someone who loves food and drinks with a mild smoky flavor, I’ve spent a lot of time cold-smoking large batches of cheese and salmon. While those setups are great for bulk, The Smoking Cube is the perfect specialized tool for when I want to scale things down and impress a small group of guests.
Versatility for Entertaining:
This box is sized perfectly for a dinner party setting. What I love most is the versatility—you can smoke a round of bourbon cocktails, and then immediately turn around and prep a small charcuterie tray. Giving the meats and cheeses a quick shot of smoke right before serving really enhances the entire culinary experience.
The "Dramatic Reveal":
The standout feature for me is the magnetically removable display board. It makes the transition from the kitchen to the dining room seamless. You can transport the contents directly to the table under the acrylic box, and then perform a dramatic reveal by lifting the cube. It’s pure table-side theater that guests absolutely love.
Performance:
Since I’m used to more industrial smoking, I was curious about how this would perform. The smoke density is excellent for shorter infusions, and the wood chips included provide a great starting point for that classic bourbon pairing.
Pros:
Perfect Size: Not too bulky, but large enough for several glasses or a small tray.
Magnetic Base: Brilliant design for transporting and revealing the food/drink.
Multi-purpose: Works just as well for snacks/charcuterie as it does for spirits.
Build Quality: The acrylic and wood components feel premium and sturdy.
Cons:
Best suited for small groups (might need multiple rounds for larger parties).
Final Verdict:
If you enjoy the ritual of a good smoked cocktail or want to elevate your hosting game with some "smoked apps," this kit is a fantastic investment. It’s become a staple for my summer dinner parties.

This is a nice little smoking cube, but if you're looking for a fully sealed, keep-smoke-actually-inside, keep looking. None of these cubes and bells seem to have a good strong seal, and even though the bottom of this one is magnetic, the seams on the rest of the box just let everything out. The magnet on the box is strong and the plastic is firm and sturdy---just too many gaps that let the smoke out. I don't know if they know about the science of gases and effusion, but you need pressure to push those smoky particles into your drink--there needs to be some kind of force from the surrounding collection of gas to get that flavoring submerged into a surface that doesn't just accept smoke. Otherwise, you're just layering smoke on top of a drink, and then taking the top off, whereupon the smoke drifts away...tada, smoked!! Yeah, no. You get the aromatics but you're not getting smokiness into the beverage itself. You could try to use way more than a normal amount of chips and really exacerbate the smoke level, but that is thereafter off-putting in your environment, all for one drink and your guests are like, whoa that's a lot.
The highlight of this set is the smoker. It's chargeable by cord or you can use batteries, but the charge-ability is really great. It has a very strong fan, and a good wide chips bowl, which allows a lot more air to pass over the burning chips and produce more smoke...which you really need if you're not getting a good seal anyway. It's all very easy to use, but it's not super easy to clean, which is key. It's going to get a lot of smoke oil over time and the cleaning situation is quite an ordeal, with a lot of soaking and oil-cutting soap in bowls wide enough to handle your equipment...otherwise you'll get that funky orange-brown smell in your smoke trips. They give you a nice, though tiny, ash and grime wire brush for cleaning, which is very helpful.
I also like that the provided chips come in corked tubes. Let me tell you, this is the way to send these wood chips out. It is so so much easier and cleaner to tap-pour those chips into bowl rather than try to scoop them from those common round chips dishes that you see in sets. You can quickly drop the right amount in, dialing in the exact pile you need, without needing a lot of hardware, or carefully keeping some spoon from dropping flakes everywhere that you now have to clean up. The tube is the future of chip storage for me!
Overall, for functionality, it produces a high visual effect for your guests, which is really cool, but I'm not actually getting much smoke into the beverage so that it becomes part of the taste profile. Smoking was all the rage a few years back, and I'm the smoke king when it comes to preferred cocktails, but this one doesn't quite reach what I was looking for. Still, it will get some use from time to time, and the motor will definitely be my preferred method of delivery--just have to get the right box that keeps the smoke well contained and visual, while still infusing the beverage. At this remarkably high price point, this one is just a 3.5 for me, here rounded to a 4 for the quality of the motor and the chip tubes.

This smoking cube is a surprisingly elegant and effective way to make smoked cocktails at home. The acrylic cloche and magnetic bamboo base give it a clean, modern look, and the included smoking gun and wood chips make the whole setup feel complete. The design draws smoke into the chamber efficiently, and based on my experience, it burns the chips completely without ever having to relight the torch, giving you a strong, consistent infusion every time. So, this is much more efficient than the cheaper setup where you just set the cover with the wood chips on top of a single drink.
I like to leave the drinks inside for a few minutes with the door closed, and the flavor really settles in. What impressed me most is how long the smoky taste lasts—it's still noticeable even 15 minutes into drinking. The cube is also large enough to smoke multiple glasses at once, which is great when making drinks for guests. I have not done it, but you could also toss in some cheese or meat cubes with the drinks if desired.
The unit is very sturdy, as the acrylic is durable and bamboo is both lightweight and durable. Also, bamboo does not let moisture soak in like wood does, so spills can be easily wiped up with a paper towel or sponge.
One practical note: if you’re carrying the cube with full drinks inside, or heavy glass highball glasses like I have, hold it from the wooden bottom. The magnets are strong enough for normal light use (certainly to carry the unit around), but the full weight of liquid is more than they’re meant to support. Overall, it’s a stylish, efficient, and fun addition to cocktail nights, and it elevates the whole presentation in a way that feels special. Yes, it is expensive compared to the cheaper style where you set the cover on a drink, but it is built to last, so it will not degrade over time like the cheaper one would.

The smoking Cube by Signal is more than I imagined. From the clean lines of the acrylic box to the bamboo tray that magnetically seals the cube... and everything in between, this is high quality! Exceptionally designed, this is a kit that works for more than just cocktails. It comes with different types of wood, and literally everything you need (except a torch and whatever it is you choose to smoke) to give your favorite craft cocktail, charcuterie or shot a smokey flavor to it. This is easy to use, adds flavor in a matter of seconds, and considering the visual quality alone, it's a bang for buck in terms of value for money.

I thought this would be neat to add a little smoke flavor to meats and cheeses and the occasional drink as change of pace and something different. The instructions say to let your cheese sit in the smoke for about 15 seconds for a lightly smoked taste and 45 seconds for stronger. I did the 45 seconds and I couldn't really taste the smoke in the cheese, but I could taste it in the air and everywhere in the house I went for the next couple of hours. This is not something I would ever do inside the house again. Seeing how it is winter, it will be a few months before I will attempt to try this again outside.
You can see in the video that the cube leaks the smoke out while it running, which I wasn't expecting, but I guess that makes sense for physics reasons (it would have been nice to have it say that somewhere in the instructions). Speaking of the instructions, they are fairly decent, but there are two paragraphs that say the same thing, which is the "guide to use the smoker is in another manual", well there isn't another manual and it just explains how to use it in the next step. Also the 'bamboo' board is covered in a laminate that looks like bamboo which is also odd, considering how much it keeps referencing the 'bamboo board'. I would guess it is so the board doesn't soak up all those delicious smokey smells? But I don't know for sure.

This cocktail smoker kit is both functional and visually impressive. The clear acrylic storage cube paired with the bamboo base looks very eye-catching on the counter and makes the whole set feel more like a display piece than just a tool. The smoker itself works well, and I really appreciate the flexibility of having a rechargeable unit with the option to fall back on AA batteries, so I never have to worry about it dying in the middle of use. One small issue was that the magnetic door tab on the cube came loose out of the box, but a quick drop of super glue fixed it permanently with no further problems. The included wood chips are a nice touch and get you started right away. Overall, it’s a well-designed, convenient, and attractive cocktail smoker kit that I’m very happy to have.

The included chips are:
Cherry
Hickory
Oak
The door latch fell off (I will glue it back on)
The torch is rechargeable
We decided to start with a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
It doesn't contain the smoke, which makes it usable only with the windows open or outside.
It did give a slight smoky smell to the Bourbon but didn't change the flavor after 1 minute
The lack of smoke containment is why it only has 2 stars

Let's be clear about what this is..and isn't.
You aren't going to be cooking any foods in this or truly smoking anything. The purpose of this neat gimmick is to allow you, the host, to dramatically present a small selection of whatever you like (crudites, charcuterie, cheeses or almost any tidbit) in a deep halo of smoke.
It's ridiculously simple but clever and I actually like the drama. Here is how it works.
You are provided with a bamboo serving tray and an acrylic dome which magnetically locks to the base. All of this is well made and feels and looks quite luxe. You arrange whatever you wish on the base and attach the acrylic dome. A small air blower (almost like a hookah) is filled with some of the included wood chips and set on fire with a (not included) torch, lighter or other flame. See if you can buy a small butane lighter which creates a bit of a jet. The unit does NOT have the ability to ignite the wood chips--you have to do it. Turn on the air blower and the smoke is sucked down into the machine and out a rubber tube which you plug into the acrylic dome with a little rubber port. The smoke fills the acrylic dome and scents the contents appropriately over the space of a few minutes. Remember , this isn't getting warm and it isn't cooking anything. You cannot smoke meat or fish with this. Smoke will be escaping from the air unit into whatever space you are doing this in so make sure you have the exhaust working or do it outside.
Now you can bring the dome to the table, open the side door of the dome with a flourish as fragrant smoke pours out and present your masterpiece. Voila! You can also do this with cocktails or shots if you prefer.
Cool? Yeah, it's pretty cool. Are you going to be likely to want to do this more than once or twice? Probably not.
