My son loves this series of books. He always cracks up at all the things the old lady eats. This one was no disappointment in our household. We have a scarecrow that goes up with our fall display, so my son kept talking about how the old lady made a scarecrow.

At the beginning of November quite a few fall books went down on the price. This one was $1.57 and I ordered it, and it just came today January 25. But that is OK because I absolutely love this book. There is so many different versions of this type of book. I would honestly order them all! It is in very good shape and a full size paper back book.

This book is pretty unique. When I first got it I thought it might scare my baby because of how it is drawn but he likes it! I pretty much guessed the ending but he was so intrigued by the story and pictures and curious of what she swallowed so many things. I got this in the Halloween section but honestly you can read it any time of the year because it's not really a Halloween book it's more of a fall book. There are lots of pages and it's beautifully illustrated. I will purchase more from this author. I also love how there's lots of different animals and senory in the book as well. Kids from any age of zero to maybe 5 or 6 years old will love it. I know mine did.
