Excellent Off-Grid Security Camera for Places Without Wi-Fi!
This 4G LTE security camera has been excellent so far. Motion detection is very responsive, alerts come through quickly, and the 2K image quality is clear enough to actually see useful detail instead of just a blurry figure.
One important thing to understand before buying is that this is a cellular camera only. It does not support Wi-Fi. It includes a SIM card with 360 days of free unlimited data, which makes it especially useful for cabins, barns, job sites, or other remote locations where Wi-Fi is not available. The built-in 10,000 mAh battery and solar panel also allow it to operate completely off-grid.
It also offers color night vision with a built-in spotlight, two-way audio, PIR motion detection, and support for local microSD storage up to 128GB. The IP66 weather-resistant housing has held up very well for me through rain and other rough weather.
Overall, this is a very capable security camera for remote areas. Clear video, fast alerts, solid weather resistance, and no Wi-Fi required.

Scare your hogs away!!!
Just to let you know, these cameras are pretty awesome. I am 71 years old, and the camera was easy to set up following the instructions. I am impressed with the quality of the ease of use. The motion detection works great especially with the Night vision. Battery life is staying steady with the included Solar Panel. The cameras are working perfectly and appear to be very durable.
A funny side note to you Deer hunters overrun with pigs. The microphone is a great tool. Whether you're in the stand or at home and the hogs are around your feeder press the microphone button and yell at them and watch them scatter. Right now, it's very entertaining to me!
Have a Blessed Day!

Very reliable addition to the Soliom product family
As long as you are able to accept the usual security concerns that you must use a proprietary APP with a registration process and your device will be routinely communicating with a far remote server, this is an excellent solar powered camera for a home or business. The included SIM card gives you enough data to run it in regular mode for about 3 to 4 weeks to get a real feel for how the cellular coverage works and the camera's capability. If you have weak coverage with the supplied card, you can try an unlocked SIM from another carrier. However, the supplied card worked in a lot of rural areas for me, so it has a good working footprint. Once you are satisfied, you can then buy more data at reasonable rates, based on how often you plan to look in on the camera. You can get plenty of playback features using your own supplied micro SD card, or you can apply to SOLIOM for cloud service. Often, you can get a short term free trial of cloud service. Cloud service gives you some extra AI processing options for more detailed alerts. The camera has good life if it gets about 3 to 4 hours of sun each day. The battery pack can carry it for a few days to a week depending on the number of triggers and log-ins. The solar panel attaches to the top of the camera bracket, so you need to put the camera where you can get a direct line of sight to the sun. It comes with all the parts you need to set it up and spare weather plugs in case you drop one. The SOLIOM+ APP is very stable in my experience and simple to bind a camera to it, but I do suggest binding the camera to the APP during bench testing as you need to get your mobile device and the camera lens in pretty close proximity during the binding process. The PTZ mechanism is easy to operate and you can program many features for night vision, sensitivity, duration of triggering recording, and other features. The live camera feed loads in a few seconds once you have the APP running and you get plenty of data on signal strength, battery strength, SD card memory status and the like. Playback from internal memory is prompt and intuitive. There are features in the APP during playback that allow you to directly make a copy of an alarm video from the camera to the mobile device video storage so you can archive it or play it back separate from the camera. You can also make snap shots that go to your mobile device image gallery. The downside of using local memory is that if a bad actor can get to the camera, they could damage or steal it and along with it all of the recorded video. The cloud option moves the recordings from harm's way. This is a great option for construction sites or along a trail in your yard that gets some sun as well as trespassers. For live video, you can opt for standard or high definition with the usual cavet that HD video will burn more data on your data plan than regular definition (which does not matter if you buy an unlimited data plan, but does matter if you buy a metered plan). The printed instructions are better written than most in this class, but you can still tell there is a little bit "lost in translation." However, I did have a customer support question and used their submit a question system and got a prompt reply that seemed human to me and was particularly responsive to my question, so I was happy for the support. This is my 8th SOLIOM camera, and all of them work well in one instance of the SOLIOM+ APP on my Android phone.

complete set up great price
Haven't had much time with this set up yet but out of the box this is an impressive camera with a complete set up. Sim card is included, and the instruction booklet is an easy read and visual. I think the price is very fair for what you are getting. Any issues down the road and I will update my review but I am excited by the value and quality.

Great solution to needing a camera but not having electricity at that spot
This is a great camera that solved my problem of needing to install a camera over my back yard but not having any source of electricity. I wound up mounting the camera on the house under an eave and it worked perfectly.
The video quality is exceptional. The app works well and is easy to use. The ability to pan and tilt makes it really adjustable so I can cover the entire back yard without issue. If you need a solar camera than you can't go wrong with this camera. 5-stars!

No WiFi at the Ranch? No Problem
We needed a security camera for the main entrance to our ranch, and there's one little problem out there that makes most cameras useless: no WiFi. Thankfully, this 4G LTE camera doesn't care.
The cellular connection gives us coverage where a traditional WiFi camera simply wouldn't work. The viewing area is impressive, and the zoom lets me get a much better look at what's happening around the entrance instead of just seeing that something moved way off in the distance.
Setup was pretty straightforward, and I like being able to check on the ranch entrance remotely without having to run internet service all the way out there. There are cellular data and cloud storage costs to consider, so I included pictures of the available plans to give other buyers a better idea of what to expect beyond the initial camera purchase.
The image quality, zoom, and overall coverage have been great for what we needed. It's nice being able to keep an eye on who's coming and going even when I'm nowhere near the property.
Bottom Line: If you need security somewhere WiFi fears to tread, this is a great solution. Good coverage, useful zoom, and 4G LTE connectivity make it a really nice fit for ranch entrances, remote property, or anywhere else your router simply can't reach.

ONLY supports 4G.. not WiFi
I ordered this SOLIUM 4G LTE solar powered camera to be used on a part out property that we can’t see with our other security cameras—at least not well. Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I wouldn’t be able to use it because we have 5G on our phones and fiber optic for the WiFi.. neither are supported by this particular camera.. this is my fault 😶— I acknowledge that when I see the word ‘wireless’ I think WiFi— since I don’t really use much data from our phones I didn’t pay attention to the 4G aspect which is how I made this error -sigh-.
The camera sends well made the lights are very bright on it ( plugging it into the solar panel they came on I just couldn’t connect at all) it comes with everything needed to install.. although the kit is supposed to include a pre-loaded 32GB SD card in the camera.. mine did not have one, I checked in the box etc as well nope not there!! It also included a SIM card good for 30 days upon activation and then you either reload it or get another from a carrier. It also comes with extra plug covers for the charge port and the on/off switch which are on the solar panel— I guess because they’re not attached they get lost more easily. The solar panel is good sized and heavy ( that surprised me I just thought it would be lighter). The user manual is pretty straight forward and there is pdf download option as well. I really can’t say how well it works but overall seems like a good quality solar camera.. I’m very sad now I have to start looking again😞

One of the brightest 4G camera performers out there. Just be aware of the caveat.
Warning Note: This is a relatively long review. I’ve broken it into sections for easier navigation. I think it’s easier to grasp this unit by examining its primary functions. Once this preliminary base is understood and the functions are accounted for, then the reader might be able to more easily assess if this is something for them.
Also note that this Soliom S600-4G 4G camera is a sophisticated and feature-rich device that really deserves a point-by-point video demonstrating its strongest attributes. This review touches on most key points. However, it is unfortunate that it will likely be unfair regarding the recorder’s extended capabilities. This forum’s limitations prevent a hyper-extended review. But note that this system performs very well.
What this is and how it works:
This installation is more or less a stand-alone security camera that leverages 4G mobile networks. Sophisticated AI logic dominates the surveillance methods, and this tech is embedded within the hardware. This camera is constantly monitoring but operates in variable power modes. When it detects movement, it wakes and snaps to attention, switching on spotlights if enabled, and streams the data to the onboard memory card and/or the optionally enabled cloud server.
Specs:
· One 7.5W solar panel recharges a massive 9000 mAh battery.
· The unit measures approximately 10” x 7” x 4.5” and weighs approximately 3.5 lbs. when fully assembled.
· The camera is capable of capturing HD 1080p modes and night vision.
· The unit possesses an onboard microphone, and the native software allows full-duplex audio communication.
· The entire apparatus is waterproof to the IPX65 standard.
· Base features Summary: solar recharging with a high-capacity battery; operates within the 4G wireless cellular security framework; 360° pan-tilt view with spotlight; 1080P night vision; 2-way talk; PIR motion sensor; WiFi is unnecessary; and black and white recording modes are available.
How this differs from CCTV recorders and WiFi installations:
4G security cameras connect via mobile networks using a SIM card, so they work anywhere where 4G abounds. Typical Wi-Fi cameras rely on the home’s or business’ network and need sufficient and stable Wi-Fi at the installation site. The other comparison is that 4G cameras are often paired with solar panels that provide off-grid power, making them super convenient. However, they generally require a monthly data plan. Wi-Fi cameras, on the other hand, avoid ongoing subscription fees, but the trade-off is that they need nearby routers and stable internet.
Accordingly, 4G can work in remote locations or temporary sites where Wi-Fi is weak or unavailable. And they also offer flexible, scalable, and portable installations since they don’t require running cables and can run on batteries or solar.
The principle downside is that you need an ongoing cellular data plan, and continuous video use can get expensive, fast! Note that the S600-4G isn’t an exception to the norm. It is compatible with the AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile networks, and the contracting data fees range from $19.90 per month to $169.90 USD per year.
Pros of this System and Advantages of 4G Cameras:
· Flexibility and Convenience: The system is scalable. Adding and removing cameras to and from the system’s mesh is relatively simple.
· No Wi-Fi Dependency: 4G cameras operate independently of home internet, making them ideal for remote locations or temporary sites.
· Easy Installation: 4G cameras are often easier to set up since there’s no need for routers or Ethernet connections. And in this case, it’s remarkably easy! The instructions are concise, and the software even has voice prompts.
· Portability: These cameras can be easily moved to different locations without reconfiguring networks.
· ***Remote Access—Anywhere you have service!***
· Real-Time Monitoring: Users can access live video feeds from their smartphones or tablets, providing peace of mind regardless of their location. Note: feeds can also be shared easily.
· Motion Alerts: 4G cameras can send notifications when motion is detected, allowing for immediate awareness of activity. The S600-4G harbors the ability to fine-tune these sensibility adjustments.
Cons of this system and disadvantages surrounding 4G cameras:
· Ongoing Subscription Costs
· ***A 4G Cellular Data Plan is Required: Users must subscribe to a cellular data plan. This requirement can lead to considerable recurring expenses. I researched extensively trying to finesse a path around this fact, and it doesn’t exist!
· High Resolution Contributes to High Data Usage: Continuous streaming often consumes significant amounts of data, potentially increasing costs.
· Coverage Limitations
· Signal Dependence: The performance of 4G cameras relies on mobile network signal strength, which can vary by location. Areas with weak signals may experience connectivity issues.
· Higher Initial Costs
· Equipment Price: 4G-enabled cameras may have a higher upfront cost compared to Wi-Fi models due to their technology and design.
· The application interface is persistent. Whenever your phone starts, so does the application. This might be a benefit and a negative for some.
· The serious and inherent hazards and cautions surrounding Lithium batteries.
Conclusion:
This system actually performs exceptionally, for what it is. It’s made well and is packed to the brim with features that normally wouldn’t present at this price point. And in fairness, you should know that I abhor the current subscription craze. I scoured this item’s description for network clarification. And I’m still grumbling over the SIM requirement and the subsequent data subscription.
What I was hoping for was a WiFi-based platform that could function independently on an internal INTRANET, tapping into 4G facets if needed. This apparatus, on the other hand, is a strong-performing 4G camera that does not deliver on the above fantasy. It renders unprecedented AI technological tools, top-quality images, clear audio, and a very intuitive mobile interface. It delivers exactly on its promise… Just make sure you understand the ins and outs.
I recommend this 4G camera if you’re in the market for one.
(4 – Stars)
**The system loses one star because of the considerable backend costs surrounding the 4G SIM subscription. This S600-4G camera system cannot operate on either WiFi or an Ethernet. If it were capable of tapping into intranet capabilities, it would be absolutely outstanding!

4th Purchase - Well Worth the Money!
This is my 4th purchase from Soliom and we absolutely love the cameras. Purchased this one for our cattle pasture on the farm for deer season due to trespassers. Battery life, recording and the picture itself is great! 4G subscription price is very reasonable. We purchased for the year so we didn’t have a monthly subscription.
Super easy to setup and it’s the Soliom+ app. We already have cameras on this app, so adding a new one was incredibly easy. Just had to scan the QR code and it was on!
We set low motion detection so our cows didn’t set it off every time, but the motion detection works great, even the human detection. We are down in a holler with a lot of trees, but we still get 3 bars of 4G connectivity. It works for exactly what we need it to!

The ease of setup and reliability
This is a top notch product I have several of these. I have one that has been up over 2 years and been through multiple hurricanes. all through the storms I was always able to watch what was happening at the site. I have even used to to communicate with 1st responders on the site remotely. The Solium app allows me to watch all of the locations I now have 4 on the app. The instructions are simple to follow and installing them is easy for anyone. Don't miss out on these they now even have a camo color which is awesome for watching hunting camps and such. You won't be disappointed.

Decent camera for the price
This camera works very well. I don’t have much activity where I’m at, so I don’t need the cloud service I just format the SD card from time to time. Very easy to set up. I haven’t had any issues yet. Going on three weeks. I use the camera daily to check on things. We’ll see how it holds up in the long run right now. It survived a few serious rainstorm.
