Reliable 4G Outdoor Camera

I've been using this camera for the past seven months and have been very satisfied overall. It delivers sharp 5MP images, optical zoom without losing image quality, excellent solar-powered battery life (no battery issues so far), an easy-to-use mobile app, and reasonably priced cellular data plans.

The only drawback I've noticed is that the autofocus occasionally shifts unexpectedly, possibly because of nearby trees in my setup.

Overall, I recommend this camera to anyone looking for a reliable outdoor security camera with 4G cellular connectivity.

Works anywhere

This camera works perfectly, very well built , easy to use and set up .

Excellent 4G LTE Camera perfect for reading number plates

I own several Soliom cameras (both Wi-Fi and 4G) across my properties, and they’ve proven to be durable, low-maintenance options for spots without power. This specific model has my preferred setup where the solar panel integrates directly into the top of the unit—no extra drilling or messy cables required.

Key Performance Notes:

Seamless Setup: Using the Soliom Pro app was incredibly easy. It automatically detects the camera in setup mode, so you can skip the hassle of scanning barcodes or manual Bluetooth syncing.

Charging: Provided there is direct sunlight, it hits a full charge daily.

Connectivity: I installed this in a rural area with only 2 bars of cellular service. While there is a slight lag when using data-heavy features like zooming, it still reliably captures vehicles entering and exiting the property.

Image Quality & Zoom: The resolution is impressive. By placing a vehicle in the field of view to help the autofocus find its mark, I was able to get a crystal-clear shot of the vehicle's license plate.

Tip: If you are in a city with strong LTE, this will be lightning-fast. In rural areas, it still works well, but expect a small delay during live zooming.

Overall, it’s a well-made, rugged camera that does exactly what it promises.

Nice Updated with AI Auto Tracking.

This is an updated camera with AI auto tracking. Can't wait to install in my front yard. It does take clear and crispy video and pictures. More update review later. Adding a picture.

Good camera for dead spot

A good outdoor camera for your dead spot at home. I have the same 4g camera that installed outside my house and it works great without WiFi. This one is way better because it offers 5mp camera resolution with Pan and tilt function. It comes with own solar panel so you’ll never run out of power 24/7. It’s a value for money considering its feature as compared to other camera on the same price range. Setup is easy, the only thing you need is to install the solium apps and you’re good to go. iOS compatible and gives notification through your iphone and iwatch. I’ll update my review once I installed the camera outside my house though I tried and tested it indoor.

Great camera

Bought 6 of them. Love it! Very clear video during the night! Human sensor detect as far as cross the street.

Remote Surveillance Champion: Unbeatable Zoom and True Off-Grid Power

This cellular security camera system is an absolute game-changer for monitoring remote properties, construction sites, or any area where running power and Wi-Fi is impossible. This unit delivers on its promise of truly independent operation.

The setup was surprisingly simple; once the 4G SIM card (compatible with major US carriers) was activated, the camera was online immediately. The combination of a built-in battery and the solar panel means you can deploy it in a field or at the back of a large property and forget about charging it. I’ve had continuous, reliable power even through cloudy stretches.

The standout feature is, without a doubt, the 10X optical zoom. Unlike digital zoom, which just pixelates the image, this optical lens allows me to zoom in from hundreds of feet away and still clearly read details, like a license plate or specific features on a face. The 5MP resolution makes the daytime footage crisp, and the spotlight color night vision is fantastic, providing full-color detail when motion is detected after dark.

The Human Detection and Auto-Tracking features are also very accurate. It successfully filters out alerts from animals or moving branches, only notifying me when a person enters the area, and then automatically panning and tilting to follow them. This prevents false alarms and saves on cellular data consumption.

If you need a truly robust, wire-free surveillance system with the ability to clearly inspect distant objects, this camera is a premium investment that delivers professional-grade performance and peace of mind.

Amazingly clear photo day or night! Great zoom and with the crystal clear video I am able to capture license plates as vehicles come and go.
