Best Sony speaker

I’m seriously impressed with this speaker. The sound quality is amazing—super clear, powerful, and with just the right amount of bass. Whether I’m playing music, watching something, or just setting the mood at home, it delivers every single time.

What I love most is how it fills the entire space with rich, crisp sound without losing quality, even at higher volumes. It’s the kind of speaker that makes you enjoy every song even more. Honestly, such a great find… totally worth it.

It connects instantly, and the sound quality is very good.

It is compatible with both iPhone and Android via Bluetooth, and—what I liked most—I can connect it to my TV. You can also mount it on the wall very easily.

Excellent Sound Quality for the Price

This soundbar is amazing quality, especially for the price. We connected it to our projector via Bluetooth and the sound is clear and full. When you sit in front of it, it almost feels like surround sound, which is exactly what we were looking for in a budget home setup.

There is a slight audio lag when connected to our projector over Bluetooth, but we expect that using an HDMI cable will fix the sync completely. We’ve also connected this soundbar to a different projector and had no issues at all with audio and video syncing, so this seems to depend on the device.

The bass is solid and the treble is crisp, and it doesn’t sound hollow or echoing like our projector’s built-in speakers. For a budget setup, this soundbar is perfect. It actually outperforms a $250 soundbar from a major brand that we tried, especially since that one didn’t even have Bluetooth and this one does. I’m very impressed with this purchase.

Great value at a great price point

I bought the Sony S100F 2.0 Channel Soundbar looking for a simple audio upgrade without having to commit to a full surround-sound system — and overall, it delivers exactly what it promises. The setup process was quick and intuitive. It connected to my TV via HDMI ARC immediately, and the Bluetooth pairing with my phone took seconds.

The sound quality is clear and balanced for its size. Dialogue sounds crisp, and it definitely enhances everyday TV watching or streaming. The bass reflex speaker gives a nice low-end presence, though it’s not meant to shake the room — more of a warm undertone than a deep rumble. Music playback is smooth, and the integrated tweeter keeps vocals clean even at higher volumes.

Physically, the soundbar feels sturdy and has a sleek, minimalist look that fits well under most TVs. It’s not overly long or bulky, which makes it ideal for apartments or smaller living spaces. The remote is straightforward and responsive, though I wish the display provided a little more feedback when adjusting settings.

If you’re expecting cinematic surround effects, you’ll want to invest in a larger system. But if you just need a compact, reliable upgrade from tinny built-in speakers, the S100F hits the mark. It’s a good balance of price, quality, and ease of use — very “plug and play.”

Defective product

Item stopped working after 2 months. It does not stay on. The power light comes on when you power it up the it flashes and just cuts off. Now I’m stuck with it. That’s no good. Sony has a good reputation so this product must have already been defective even before I bought it.

It’s loud! The best setting to have it on is the cinema one. It gives it that movie theater sound.

Worth it!

Great product, especially for the price! I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and he was super excited. It’s easy to set up/use and is the perfect size. Sound quality is great, too (works great with our LG TV). If you’re debating between a couple sound bars, I’d say go for this one!

Love This Speaker!

Overall, great speaker! It was affordable, and the sound quality is impeccable. It also has super easy set up. We have a 4K fire stick and I could easily connect the speaker to its Bluetooth. Has definitely improved our movie watching experience!

Absolute Trash

Takes forever to connect to any source, after multiple attempts of unplugging. Intermittently disconnect from the source while in use; sound is mediocre at best!!!

Great Quality for the Price

This soundbar is a great quality soundbar for the price.

If your like me, and have kids, animals, and other environmental noises, your TV's audio is lacking (like my TCL TV), or your simply hard of hearing (i have all 3 issues!).. this soundbar is perfect!

It has several different sound modes, so you can switch between various modes depending upon if you want a "home cinema" feel for loud action movies, want the sound of the voices to stand out during long dialogs that would usually be hard to hear due to background sounds/music in the show/movie, or want to have a better gaming/music experience.. this soundbar has a mode for your needs.

It's simple to set up (plug and play), simple to pair to for Bluetooth, and has a clean/sleek design for mounting and/or placing in your entertainment center.

Overall, it's a solid 5 star for me based on price vs quality

Bought this speaker on sale and let me tell you I’m very impressed and it’s well worth it. It’s loud and perfect for movies and watching live games. I will say the bass isn’t that strong which is why I give it 4 stars.

It was a little tricky to set up at first, but my favorite feature is being able to connect my phone via Bluetooth without having to turn it on with the remote. Good for gaming as well 🎮

Such a small price for a huge sound upgrade over budget and smaller TVs

This is a perfect package for under $400 for the TV AND soundbar. I recommend it for smaller rooms, exercise videos, a portable or spare TV, a large kitchen, and a portable deck/patio TV.

The TV sound is what you'd expect from almost any TV. It wouldn't have noticed if the display wasn't so good. Enter the Sony Soundbar. It provides a simulated theater experience and strong sound for outdoor. This soundbar provides everything you'd want for small to medium TVs. I found an open box in excellent condition for $60. If you want a larger theater experience, you'll want a more premium system with at least a subwoofer. I love this bar, and it's fit for this purpose. It's the best upgrade to complete your viewing experience.

The Omni TV was one of the best finds and values. I wanted a lightweight TV for a rolling stand to use as a guest TV and a football TV on the deck. When this popped up as a Prime sale for $270, I couldn't resist. As a nerd, I compared options under $500 before narrowing it to this size and model. Many reviews say the 55" version is a better viewing experience. If so, I can't imagine how good it must be. This is on par with our older Sony TVs for picture quality in a smaller size. It does not have the higher natural refresh rate you might want for gaming. It's bright enough to watch in full daylight, but reflections degrade the image. Initially, I thought about buying a larger size for the deck. The size, weight, and quality of this one make it a perfect mobile TV, and I won't upsize it.

Very impressive

I bought this because the built-in TV speakers got lost in this room. TV sounded like it was coming through a pipe. I wanted some small but powerful enough to make a difference. I was truly impressed with the result. The sound is now strong, clear and everything I wanted. Setup was a no-brainer. I highly recommend this.

Arrived greasy

Sent a new in box, greasy item. Took alcohol pads but wouldnt come off. Didnt look used, but it definitely was- or loaded at factory grimy trash fingers.

Bar also wouldn’t work with lgc3 tv with TV+sound out. It would work sound out only; but deal breaker. Sound was worse than Hisense hs214 that is randomly going max volume every 10 mins…

Price is decent, hope this works for others.

If You Think It's Broken, It Ain't!

My old soundbar failed. Ordered this one. Hooked it up. Nothing. This sent me down a rather angry spiral thinking the TV optical out had actually failed. But I decided to test it with another TV. Same results! BOTH TVs couldn't possibly be broken. I happened to notice a flashing blue light on the soundbar whenever it was turned on. Instructions suggested doing a reset. Hold "Power," the plus sign, and the menu button (I think it's the menu button - the arrow pointing into a circle) for at least 5 seconds. The blue light stopped flashing, and just the single white light stayed on. Hooked it up to the TV I'd originally bought it for, and SUCCESS. SOUND. Great sound, in fact. So if your blue light keeps flashing, do the reset procedure and that should work. So glad I have a great soundbar again!

Easy setup and it sounds great! Ive never been a fan of soundbars but this one is awesome. Fills the whole room with sound, I would buy for all my tvs

Impressive sound

Our tv volume wasn’t that great so we bought this sound bar! It works great and we only ever turn it up a couple of clicks. The sound is crisp and clear. We have not had any issues with it pairing to the tv either.

Nice sound

Very long and the sound is amazing got a button that let it automatically adjust it self to the type of show or movie to really get you in tune with whatever your watching or game system your playing and defiently worth the price

Didn’t come with mounting equipment

Didn’t make sense that they didn’t include mounting hardware. Such an inconvenience. Didn’t go to the hardware store because we didn’t want the stress or the headache of looking for what to mount this thing with as we are busy. Used command strips all over the back side. Command strips still holding sturdy over two months now so 🤷🏾‍♀️. Would not recommend anyone purchase this speaker unless you just don’t care and don’t want to spend more or research more. Sounds nice for the price but cannot be played in unison with your tv sound as it will produce a terrible double/echo sound.

Really great product for what I bought it for

Let me start by saying the only reason I gave the product four stars is because as a consumer I don't read 1 star reviews or 5 star reviews out of fear that they aren't what they seem... I bought this for my newly remodeled office and I couldn't be happier. As a younger man I was a bit of an audiophile. Stereo racks, eqs, (intentionally dating myself) liquid cooled speakers, I loved it all. Now as I am approaching 50 I just want rich sound and this unit does exactly that. I read a review about how someone thought it doesn't supply enough "low-end". I'm not sure what they expected from a unit this size... but I was pleasantly surprised. I wanted something with bluetooth that I could attach to my alexa for music, sports and some news and I love it's versatility. Hooked it up in less than a minute AND when I move it to the back yard it performs well.

Very pleased, I would gladly purchase it again.

Its Sony you know it has to be above standard..right.

Sounds good built in sub does the job well for average use . If trying to have a rave look into a sub as well as sound bar . Easy to link to phone for Bluetooth and sounds clear and has that bass that's nice . Remote is ok cant see volume just look for light in center once u got that understood it gets easier. To shorten this up for the money its a great product looks nice sounds great sony did it right . If you are on fence like I was just buy the insurance for that peace of mind .
