Very good... but

If you are using these speakers for home theater - they will do the job incredibly well and sound great with no distortion even at high volume!

Using them in a stereo Hi Fi system - they will sound very good BUT you will need a dedicated subwoofer. The 'punchy bass' people speak of just that... punchy mid-bass. They lack low end bass extension that brings life to your music. Nothing against them, they were never designed to be a full range speaker.

I added a simple Edifier T5s slim 8" subwoofer and it complimented them very well. I powered them with an Ampapa D1 amp and the combo sound pretty amazing.

Buy them when they are on sale and plan on purchasing a subwoofer if you want great sound for music, or buy them for your home theater - they will perform EXTREMELY well.

Keep them about 15 cm from the walls

Nice sound for smaller speakers

I got these speakers specifically for the front left and right for my 5.1 surround sound setup. They replaced some smaller speakers and right away I really noticed the punch from these. They sound great and have a richer spectrum compared to what they replaced. Great sound from a smaller size!
