I really like these. Very good sound. Only 2 minor complaints. 1) The open ear setting isn't really open ear, I have to have the volume way down to hear things around me. 2) Every so often, even if I am right near my phone or it's even in my pocket there will be a weird hiccup in the sound. It's hard to describe almost like the earbuds are switch to in the ear and then back to open ear setting.

Best of both worlds, AND incredible sound!
These are amazing! This is my 3rd set of soundcore buds, and they didnt let me down! Im loyal to this brand bc theyre the absolute, all around best in my experience.
These buds in particular do EXACTLY what I needed. They are big coming from a strictly compact earbud kinda guy, but considering the idea of this product, they are incredibly ergonomic, and very, very light. Sound is incredible as always bass is knockin!!, active noise canceling isnt perfect, but considering the product as a whole, the anc works spectacularly!!!
If you are the type of person that loves wearing buds for most of your day, everyday, but also need to be able to hear as well as without buds.....freakin buy these!!!!! Soundcore knocked it out the damn ballpark with these!

Great fit. Just what I needed.
Perfect for out of ear and in ear for noise canceling. I have Liberty 4 NC and regardless of the ear piece size I change it to, it works itself out. The Liberty's loosen greatly when I move my jaw talking or chewing, but the AeroFit 2 pro's absolutely do not. I wish the case gave an on case battery percentage.
Overall cost is a little pricey I feel, but they do what I need them to.

Practical and useful earpieces. Try them out!
The sound quality is 9/10 out the box (10/10 with personalization in app)
The bass is well defined highly impactful at higher volumes( I would recommend doing the sound test, it creates an accurate profile that helps immersion)
The comfort is very high while doing active activities, capable for any weather really.
The AeroFit 2 is super discrete aswell, barely noticeable as well as light.
When relaxing I advise against laying on them while in open ear mode, they are rounded and as a result will apply pressure to the ear, however ANC mode is perfectly fine.
They are smaller than they appear within the pictures.
The feel of the buttons is high quality along with the material of the headphone itself.
When at work I can tune out the noise seamlessly and tune back in when the moment calls for it all from within a beanie too!
A super versatile piece of equipment overall.

Edit:
It has been awhile since my purchase was made and I have to be honest the battery life and sound quality has been fluctuating between a great like new to a lesser level especially when both headphones are on.
There is a 2 star review by Fernando Santiago who thoroughly addresses these concepts. The headphone IS great and discrete while giving amazing awareness to the environment however maintaining realistic expectations is key to appreciating this pair of headphones.
4 STARS (4.5 honestly)

I've been hearing great things about these headphones and have had some great time utilizing and using it especially with the software app which is very useful. I do do field work and had the time to utilize it during some extreme heat temperatures out here which it has been able to withstand but notice it recently that it has been a bit buggy... the right earphone seems to be initiating the button press without me physically touching it so sometimes when I am on a phone call it will hang up a call which my friends have noted and confirmed. I've also noticed that sometimes when I leave the headphone still connected especially just one headphone which is still the right one I've been having issues with it will pause and play my music. As for the special awareness, it is a great bonus to the headphones but I've noticed the automatic system keeps constantly Messing with the equalizer and I would constantly notice a drop in quality and sound as time goes on while utilizing it for music or calls. I don't know if this is a software issue via the app or the headphone itself but I need headphones I can count on to use without issue throughout the day as I constantly use headphones orchestrate my team and handle customers on the field.

Great for Safety & Awareness, but Requires the Right Fit
Pros:
Excellent volume for an open-ear design; overcomes outdoor noise well.
Superior situational awareness (safe for scooters, walking, outdoors).
Adjustable pivot system allows for customization once you find the sweet spot.
Supports LDAC and Hi-Res Audio for clear, studio-quality sound.
Good battery life is good.
Cons:
Fit Issues: The "cylinder" end can cause ear fatigue/pain after extended wear.
Volume Quirk: "Closed Ear/ANC" mode appears to cut volume in half; requires specific pivot adjustment to avoid.
Bass Limitations: As expected with open-ear buds, deep bass is limited.
Learning Curve: You have to dial in the pivot angle to get the best experience.
For an open-ear design, these sound surprisingly good. They are loud enough to overcome significant outside noise, which is rare for this form factor. The 11.8mm drivers deliver clear audio, and if you enable LDAC, the Hi-Res support really shines. However, don't expect deep, thumping bass. These are open-air, so the sound profile is different from sealed earbuds. If you are a bass head, you may find the low-end lacking, but for music, YouTube, and audiobooks, the clarity is excellent.
The "Closed Mode" Volume Issue & Pivot Adjustment:
I experienced a frustrating issue where the volume would suddenly drop to half, and the buds seemed to think they were in "Closed Ear" mode. After troubleshooting, I realized this is all about the adjustable pivot system.
The Fix: If the pivot is set to a certain angle, the buds trigger a mode switch that reduces volume and makes the audio too quiet. By adjusting the pivot slightly before the mode switches, you can bypass this issue.
The Quirk: Even when in "Closed Ear" mode, the volume is reduced compared to Open-Ear mode and I am not a fan. If you prefer the closed mode, this might be a dealbreaker, but I find adjusting the angle to keep them in Open-Ear mode but close to your ear canal works best.
The large cylinder end that helps the buds perform better can hurt my ears after a while. It creates pressure that becomes uncomfortable during long sessions. If you have sensitive ears or a specific ear shape, you may experience fatigue. They are somewhat comfortable initially, but the "pressure-free" claim doesn't fully hold up for me over long periods.
Best Use Cases:
These are my go-to for safety and outdoor activity. Because they are open-ear, I can hear traffic and surroundings clearly. I wear these when riding my electric scooter, walking, or working outdoors where awareness is critical. It's the perfect balance of listening to your favorite content without compromising your safety.
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro is a solid design that prioritizes safety without sacrificing too much audio quality. They are excellent for commuters, scooter riders, and anyone who needs to stay aware of their environment. However, the fit can be painful for some, and you must take the time to adjust the pivot system correctly to avoid volume drops and mode-switching glitches.
I would buy these if you value safety and outdoor awareness over deep bass and all-day comfort. Just be prepared to spend 10 minutes tweaking the pivot angles to get the best sound and avoid the volume cut-out issue.

Comfortable and convenient, but not perfect
I’ve been using these for a bit now and I have mixed feelings, but mostly positive.
First thing, the open-ear design is actually really nice. I don’t like things stuck inside my ears for long periods, so this feels way more comfortable, especially for long days or when I’m at work or commuting. I can still hear what’s going on around me, which is good for safety too.
Sound quality is pretty good for open-ear headphones, but don’t expect super deep bass like regular earbuds. It’s clear and good enough for calls, music, and podcasts. The ANC mode does help reduce background noise a bit, but since they’re open-ear, don't expect too much from it
Battery life is solid and the quick charge is actually useful when you forget.
Call quality is also decent. People can hear me clearly most of the time, even when I’m outside.
Now the not-so-great parts…
The controls are a bit confusing at first. I thought they were touch controls but they’re actually buttons, so you have to press them. Once you figure it out it’s fine, but not super intuitive. Also sometimes switching between devices or using it on different devices (like laptop vs phone) can feel a little inconsistent.
Another thing is look. I don't know it kind of looks like a hearing aid not earbuds.

THE BEST
I’m absolutely obsessed with these and reach for these over my AirPods. They connect easily to Bluetooth, hold a great charge and have so many features!!! The case itself is the most beautiful matte pearlescent white. I love the noise cancelling feature the most! Sometimes I don’t even play music, I just put them in to help quiet the world around me. It’s so cool that you can switch from a noise cancelling headphone, to bone conducting which is super important to me as I have kids and still want to enjoy my music, while being able to hear if they’re ok in the background. The sound and noise cancelling level is completely customizable through the soundcore app too which is super fun to play with! I also have small ears that are sensitive to most headphones and the fact that you can adjust the fit is amazing.
Overall, these are absolutely worth the money and by far the best headphones I have ever owned.

Recommend Soundcore products
Based on our (my husband and I) P30i user experience, I was excited to try the AeroFit 2 pro.
First of all, I love my Soundcore P30i so much that I bought one for each family member, a total of 5. We all have AirPods. My kids still like their AirPods, but I love my Soundcore.
The AeroFit 2 Pro battery does not last as long as the P30i. I can use my P30i for 4+ hrs before I start to notice choppy audio (hint: time to charge the earbuds). So far, we have used the Fit 2 Pro for maybe 2+ hrs.
AeroFit 2 Pro connectivity is much faster than P30i. P30i takes about 3-5 seconds to connect to my iPhone or my S6 (Samsung). Yes, I have Bluetooth to both at the same time. I would be listening to my S6’s movie, and when the hub called me, the movie would stop, and I would hear the phone ring. AeroFit 2 Pro would be an instant connection.
My husband prefers the AeroFit 2 Pro fit to the P30i. I have no issues with either, but the P30i doesn’t fit his ear (same with my boy’s ear). I can use either to do yoga, especially downward dog, and neither falls out of my ear.
As for controls on the earbuds. To be honest, I never have any luck remembering what each mode on the earbuds is for, so I prefer using my phone or Android for volume, fast-forward, or rewind controls.
The biggest difference between the 2 Soundcore for me is how to control the Noise Cancellation mode. The noise cancellation is awesome. I take my kids to the UT Austin natatorium (Yes, Longhorn swimming facility) for swim practice every day. I can hear my movie with noise cancellation, unlike the AirPods (which are more expensive, fall out of my ears, and don't have a noise cancellation mode).
My husband is currently using the AeroFit 2. He prefers it to P30i, and I’m indifferent between them. I do perfect the P30i’s small case. The AeroFit 2 Pro case is 2x the size.
Overall, I recommend Soundcore products. If the AeroFit 2 Pro price is too high for you, I recommend trying the P30i first.

Innovative Wireless Headset with Open Ear or ANC Modes
This is a review of the Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro headphones.
I use Bluetooth headsets with my phone all the time for calls, listening to podcasts, or for any other audio. I can be picky when it comes to functionality and even more picky when it comes to comfort. For the most part, I prefer the feel of something that hooks over my ear instead of relying on just an earbud. I also like open ear designs, so I can stay aware of my surroundings. There are times, such as when on an airplane, where I just need headphones to reduce outside noise by blocking noise to my ear physically and, ideally, with some noise cancellation.
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro headphones are very unique in design. I had never tried anything like them before. I am able to wear them as open ear headphones that hook over my ears. When I need to block out external noise, I just twist them toward my ear canal until the ear buds go into the opening. This is when active noise canceling turns on automatically. For me, it has worked perfectly, and the fit was perfect as well. I was surprised how easy it was. It just worked.
I have been using these as my primary headset for over a month now to really try them out. Usually, I have them set to open ear mode. I have used them for calls, and those have sounded great. Podcasts and audiobooks sound clear. I have also watched movies, and the sound is great. The Soundcore app offers a lot of flexibility. I am able to adjust sound levels to my liking, change the functionality of button presses to whatever defaults I want, and utilize a number of other adjustments and features. I tried enabling dual Bluetooth mode, and I connected the headset to my portable gaming device. The connection set itself to the device where sound was playing, and I was able to switch back and forth between the gaming device and my phone with no problem.
When traveling, I twisted the headphones down, so the earbuds were in my ears. Active noise canceling turned on almost immediately. The sound was still clear, and it blocked out external noise, allowing me to listen on the airplane. The battery of the headphones themselves lasts for at least several hours. After wearing them for a full day with intermittent use, I typically find they are maybe at half battery. At any time, I can put them into their case where magnets help them to snap into correct position. The case itself charges the headphones back up very quickly. I expect the headphones would last for days simply charging from the case battery.
These are premium headphones. At the time of this review, the price puts the value on par with other wireless headphones of this design. Where these really shine is in the innovation of offering both open ear and in-ear, noise-cancelling configurations. Since I started using these, I haven't changed them out to use my old headset at all. If you are in the market for a nice headset and you want the flexibility of changing between noise-cancelling and open-ear configurations, these are a great option.

Great Comfort and Versatility with Solid Sound—But ANC Needs Improvement
I’ve been using these earbuds for a bit now, and overall I’d give them a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
The standout feature is definitely the comfort. The open-ear design with the soft silicone makes them really easy to wear for long periods without any pressure or fatigue. I can keep them on for hours—whether I’m working, walking, or commuting—and almost forget they’re there. The dual-mode design is also a big plus. Being able to switch between open-ear awareness and noise canceling depending on the situation is super convenient.
Sound quality is surprisingly good for this style of earbuds. Audio comes through clear and detailed, even in busier environments, and the spatial audio adds a nice immersive touch. Battery life has also been reliable—I’m easily getting several hours per charge, and the quick charge feature is genuinely useful when I’m in a rush.
That said, the noise cancellation is a bit hit or miss. It works in some situations, but it’s not as strong or consistent as I expected. There were times when it didn’t seem to engage properly, which can be frustrating if you’re relying on it to block out noise.
Overall, these are a great option if comfort and versatility are your priorities. They’re perfect for everyday use, workouts, and staying aware of your surroundings, but just don’t expect top-tier ANC performance.

Great set of headphones!
I wanted to use these a little bit before I left my review.
I use headphones all day long working from home and listening to audiobooks or music. I also run so I wanted to give them a good go!
Overall, neat concept for the ANX and openear. While to wm they feel like they will fall off easily for open ear, it’s a nice concept!
Easy to connect and nice to have the app to personalize to your liking! I have other Soundcore headphones so it’s nice to have them all on one app!
Battery life is great! I have even left these in my car a few days after running and still have a great charge the next time I go out!
My only concern is when I am running outside (never happens indoors on the treadmill or while working) they seem to have glitches and sound go in and out while running! I run with my phone so it shouldn’t be the connection, but wondering if something else outdoors is interfering with them!?
Overall great value and I will continue to use them on a daily basis!

good battery, solid sound, easy to use, but not very portable
I got this "Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro by Anker, Open-Ear with Semi-in-Ear Active Noise Cancellation, Dual-Form Earbuds, Adjustable Ear Hooks, Hi-Res, LDAC, 4-Mic AI Clear Calls, IP55 Water-Proof, Wireless Charging" for myself and so far I'm quite happy with it.
The open ear design makes the earbuds quite comfortable to wear. The noise-cancelling works fine and can be turn on and off with a single touch. The downside is that the level of noise-cancelling is not adjustable.
The battery life is really good. I only charged it once so far, and it still has 30% battery left. Sound quality is one of the best for the earbuds I've used.
In terms of the price, it is not very competitive. Other than that, these are solid earbuds with high quality.

Comfortable open-ear option with solid features and good sound
These earbuds are well built with a high-quality feel, and come from a well-known brand that shows in the overall design and performance. One of the standout features is the adjustable fit levels, allowing you to go from more open-ear to a semi-in-ear style depending on preference.
A key thing to note is that active noise cancellation (ANC) only activates in the higher fit levels (Level 4 or 5), with Level 3 maintaining whatever ANC setting was previously engaged. The ANC itself is decent, but as expected, it doesn’t match the isolation of fully in-ear earbuds. That said, this design is much more comfortable for longer wear, with less ear pressure and irritation, making it a great compromise.
Sound quality is good overall, and the magnetic charging case has a sleek, premium feel. The companion app is also a nice bonus — the Soundcore app includes features like customization and even basic real-time translation, which is a unique addition.
Price-wise, it’s in line with similar products, though still on the expensive side. Overall, these are a great choice if you want comfort and flexibility over maximum noise isolation, offering solid performance and thoughtful features.

Impressive sound
Buttons hard to press/find
App will not run on my tablet
I am not a super audiophile, but I have been through my share of earbuds, headphones and sound systems.
First impression: These have really impressive sound. Both bass and treble are strong. Voices clear with good midrange. They will blow out your eardrums if you are not careful. Combination of in-the-ear and bone conduction.
The Souncore app installed seamlessly on my Galaxy S phone. This is what I call a full featured app. Selections for sound types, custom qualizer, etc. It can share and switch seamlessly between tablet and phone.
Phone holds charge well.
Three minor things. The app will only function if it is connected to the earbuds. Sometimes I just want to wander through app feature menus on my tablet while playing music from my phone. Second, battery charge is only visible on the app. No % charge meter on case. Finally, the selection button on each earbud can be difficult to find and operate. These are really minor compared to sound quality and app features. Five solid stars.

Love how versatile they are!
I’ve been wanting open-ear headphones but also wanted the flexibility to switch to in-ear when needed, and these are perfect for that. I love that they’re so easy to adjust between open-ear and in-ear modes, and both options actually work really well—the sound is clear, and the fit is secure.
They also charge incredibly fast, which is a huge convenience when you’re on the go. The adjustable ear hooks keep them locked in place, and I haven’t had any issues with them slipping, even during longer runs. The IP55 rating gives me confidence they can handle sweat and light rain without any problems.
The sound quality is excellent, the active noise cancellation works surprisingly well for open-ear design, and the call clarity with the 4-mic AI setup is impressive. Overall, these are a great choice for runners or anyone who wants flexible, high-quality wireless headphones. I would absolutely recommend them.

Innovative Open Earbud with ANC
When the marketing for a product states it is not for everyone; you know you’re in for a polarizing product. This Anker AeroFit 2 Pro is the successor to the AeroFit Pro, but has two features that almost make it seem like a uniquely different product. First, an adjustable hinge that allows the buds to sit closer or further to your ear canals without a seal. Second, active noise cancellation on an open ear product.
These earbuds include a large case…like significantly larger than any other earbuds I’ve used before. This is mentioned in the marketing material, but it’s different when you’re seeing it in person. The reason for the large case is to accommodate the earbuds when they are set in any hinged position. Fit and finish is excellent, while build quality appears good so far. The case lid does feel a touch chintzy, but I’m only mentioning this due to the retail price. The adjustable arms/hinge feels robust. Bluetooth connectivity was straightforward and has been stable in my use.
These appear to be intended for active users (I.e. workouts, gym, etc), though it also worked well for use around the office. Fitment is stable in all positions, though not all of the positions are comfortable. Volume is sufficiently loud in varying environments. Swapping between ANC and open modes is simple, as all it requires is moving the earbud hinge to a different position. Controls are done through large physical buttons. The only issue here is that the pressure from pressing the buttons tended to irritate my ear. Noise cancellation can be surprisingly effective, but it is not without its issues. The AeroFit 2 had some strange noise cancellation syncing issues between left and right buds. It also would sometimes “lose” noise cancellation when a change in environmental noise. Many equalizer settings are present in the app (mimics Apple equalizer settings), but I didn’t really like any that were present. Custom equalizers generated via sound samples are also present. If this isn’t good enough, custom graphic equalizers for ANC and open modes are available on top of that.
Sound quality is very good, particularly once a set of custom equalizers is configured to your preferences. Compared to other open earbuds I’ve tried, this is significantly better sounded with a larger soundstage, more detail, and deeper bass. LDAC audio streaming is available once configured in the app and will require an additional update to add the functionality.
Overall, this is an innovative earbud that executes well on its unique features and design. It ended up being far better than I was anticipating, but it still shows signs of being a first generation product. The two things that would stop me from using this more often is the comfort and noise cancellation (probably will be improved via firmware updates though). If you’re looking for something a bit different for exercising, this may be a great option.

Impressive balance of comfort, sound quality and features!
I was excited to have an opportunity to test the latest innovative design from Anker. These earbuds do not disappoint.
I have been a Soundcore fan for years, with my immediate family owning approximately 10 products from their lineup.
My favorite earbuds for sound quality remain the Liberty Pro 2 coaxial design. They do not have nearly the feature set of the AeroFit 2 Pro, but they excel at frequency response and separation with the dual drivers.
My recent daily set is the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3. They are an excellent combination of features, especially useful to me in transparency mode for hunting where I can use them to automatically silence the sound of shots while maintaining audio awareness.
On to the review...I have been using the AeroFit Pro 2 for about 3 days now. They offer 2 primary modes for in-ear with ANC, or open-ear without. My testing was completed using an Android 16 Samsung S25 Ultra phone and Dell Windows 11 laptop.
I generally prefer the in-ear with ANC disabled, as this seems to produce the best sound quality for music. I was easily able to enable LDAC for higher quality audio and have enjoyed listening to them with Roon Arc upscaling through multiple albums. LDAC requires changing the sound quality toggle in the Soundcore app under settings->sound mode->preferred audio quality->LDAC and installing a firmware update that automatically initiates at that time. Google search explains it if you have trouble. You may also have to toggle the LDAC switch in Bluetooth settings on the phone.
Call quality is excellent. Receivers noted that they could not tell I was speaking through headphones. The sound quality in open-ear mode is clear but lacks bass, which for me is great in an office environment or at home allowing me to hear the surroundings. I would say I prefer open ear for phone calls and meetings.
It is easy to click through the five possible mechanical angle increments between open ear and in-ear ANC.
I appreciate the dual connection setting which allows me to connect my laptop and my phone, and easily disable the laptop when I know I will only be using the phone to avoid unwanted notifications and other distractions from the laptop.
For music, I tried several of the preset EQs and also created my own in the Soundcore app, but decided that the flat setting was my preference along with a custom EQ that I created in Arc. Screenshots attached of both custom EQ's. I am impressed with the available bass and clarity once EQ'd. I will use these as my new daily headset for meetings and music.
Something that stands out that I have not previously experienced... long term comfort. I can wear these for hours at a time and almost not feel anything. Larger earbuds tend to cause fatigue eventually, and possibly some irritation or response from your ear canal that these do not exhibit. The in-ear mode is really just close to the ear canal, and not sealed like a standard earbud. This causes bass to leak out, but they do have pretty strong bass response regardless when set to in-ear mode. I think that I could probably sleep in these, which I cannot say for any of my other earbuds as they are all painful with pressure from laying on the side.
When you adjust the angle of the earbud, through the five click settings, you can tell that the audio processor adjusts loudness and bass response for the new fit. This is pretty impressive and works very well to tune the sound automatically.
With respect to retention, I can shake my head back and forth pretty violently (reminiscent of The Terminator fighting bikers) and they do not even come close to falling out.
The charging case is pretty massive. It has a cool Night Rider light bar in the front, a USB-C charging port in the rear, and supports wireless charging. The earbuds easily snap in place and are well marked with respect to left and right. Anker recommends and I agree to make sure to clean the surfaces before putting them back in the case, to avoid buildup or problems with the contacts and charging.
For reference I put my Galaxy Buds Pro 3 case next to the case in a picture for size.
I've grown accustomed to the volume controls by sliding the stem and the pinch clicking mechanism of the Galaxy Buds Pro 3. The AeroFit 2 Pro is a bit behind on tech here. They are using a single click button or multi-clicks that can be configured in the app. It's not the worst interface, but certainly not as good as the Samsung configuration.
ANC works pretty well, but since these do not seal into your ear canal, there's always some sound that leaks in. It's surprising how well they can do canceling out high frequency anyway. I would say if you're looking for something to block sound these would not cut it. They are a really cool bridge between multiple designs though, and I think for daily use in a moderately noisy office environment and for playing music they can offer versatility that other designs lack.
I think for the price, they are competitive considering the wealth of features and sound quality. I would likely rate these 4.5 stars, mostly because of the interface of the buttons.. the clicking versus touch sensitive controls is lacking. Since I cannot rate them 4.5 stars I will rate them five.

Perfect Hybrid—Clear Calls and Impressive ANC (Even on a Mower!)
This review of the Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro highlights its performance as a hybrid between situational awareness and immersive audio. These earbuds represent a unique shift in the "open-ear" category by successfully integrating Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) into a non-intrusive design.
🎧 Audio Performance & Customization
The sound quality on the AeroFit 2 Pro is remarkably full, avoiding the "thin" profile often found in bone-conduction or open-ear competitors. The bass response is punchy without being muddy, and the mids remain crisp.Equalization Options: The Soundcore app provides a massive library of EQ presets (from R&B to Classical).Stored Preferences: You can create and save custom EQ curves, which stay synced to the hardware, ensuring your preferred sound profile follows you regardless of which device you’re paired with.Hybrid Flexibility: The choice between Open-Ear mode (for hearing the world around you) and ANC is purely a matter of preference. Both modes maintain audio integrity, so you don't lose sound quality when you decide to tune out the world.
📱 Intuitive App & Controls
The companion app is one of the most stable and user-friendly on the market.Custom Button Mapping: You can completely remap the tap controls (Single, Double, Triple, and Long Press). This is essential for those who want to toggle between ANC and Normal mode or adjust volume without reaching for their phone.Seamless Connection: Pairing is instantaneous, and the interface for toggling "Wind Noise Reduction" or "Intelligent Noise Cancellation" is straightforward.
🚜 Real-World Testing: The "Scalping" Stress Test
ANC on open-ear buds is a difficult engineering feat, but these hold up in high-decibel environments. The Mower Test: During a heavy-duty session of scalping Bermudagrass, the ANC effectively neutralized the drone of the mower engine. While you aren't completely "sealed off" like in-ear buds, the reduction in low-frequency noise is impressive, allowing podcasts or music to remain perfectly audible over the machinery.
📞 Call Quality & Battery Life
For those who use their gear for work and play, the microphone array is top-tier.Clarity: In test calls, the feedback from the other end was excellent—callers reported clear, natural voice transmission with minimal background interference.Battery: The battery life is robust enough to handle a full day of yard work and phone calls without needing a mid-day top-off.
🏗️ Design & Portability
The build quality of the buds is premium, featuring a flexible ear-hook design that stays secure during vigorous movement.
Final Verdict
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro is a "no-compromise" option for anyone who dislikes the feeling of traditional earplugs but still needs high-end audio and effective noise reduction. Whether you are on a professional call or battling the lawn, they deliver.

Like The AeroFit 2s, But With Active Noise Cancellation And Refinements!
I currently have the Soundcore AeroFit 2, and the opportunity to try these new AeroFit 2 Pros by Anker came up and I’m glad to have used them as the updates are both familiar and at the same time noticeable.
To start, the packaging the earbuds come in is magnetic and in rugged cardboard similar to Apple’s iPhone packaging. It’s minimalistic with not much waste. Included are the earbuds in their case and a small usb c cable for charging the earbuds.
The nice feature in the case compared to the AeroFit 2s is the inclusion of wireless charging in the case, so no more having to plug it in! Unfortunately though despite the case being longer, battery life on the case and earbuds on the Pros is noticeably shorter. It’s also noticeably more heavier and bulkier to carry as a result compared to the square shaped case of the AeroFit 2s. Before they were rated at 10 hours, but these Pros are rated at 7 hours and that’s with ANC off; expect 5 hours max with it on. The new case itself is rated for 34 hours compared to 40 on the non-pro model.
The earbuds themselves are noticeably more shaped to direct into your ear canal for the ANC. You can toggle it on or off via the app, moving the hooks and positioning the ear tips inward or outward, and even manually doing so by holding the button on each earbud for 2 seconds until it makes a “ding” noise. The active noise cancellation works well and was able to muffle out road traffic noticeably and nearby conversations as well which surprised me with the open design that doesn’t directly go into the ear canal, but rather sits in front of it. The ANC works fantastically at drowning out the white noise in the gym. The automatic noise cancellation via the hooks is a bit of a gimmick I’d say as it doesn’t turn on or off consistently when I want it to, which results in me fumbling the earbuds until it does what I intend for it to do. Because of that, I turned it off in the app and just use the buttons and app to turn ANC on and off.
As for the sound, it’s about the same compared to the AeroFit 2s with some slight improvement though they definitely are not AirPod Pro 3s sound quality. Bass is a bit too boomy and not as “clean” for my liking and the mids and trebles were not as pronounced as I would like, but fortunately the Soundcore app provides an equalizer to configure the sound with both customized, pre-set, and even a tailored option via a test to hear which sound you prefer and creates the sound signature based on that. I stuck between “volume booster” and the tailored sound option for my use case. These earbuds for some reason don’t sound as loud for my ears at 70% volume compared to my AeroFit 2s which I’m unsure is caused by my device or perhaps a firmware issue, but they are still usable.
Unfortunately being a Apple user, I don’t get the benefits of Hi-Res Audio/LDAC, but I was able to test it on my Android I have on hand and I’d say there is improvement to sound quality as well as connection reliability with the Bluetooth 6.1 standard on these. I wish AptX was included as well into these earbuds as another codec for more compatibility with other Android devices, but these 2 suffice.
Besides all those pros and cons, these are indeed a logical step to take if you are specifically looking for active noise cancelling open-ear earbuds (these are the first in that technology). In terms of a upgrade form my AeroFit 2s, I could hold off myself despite the sound improvements and inclusion of ANC, but if I were buying new without the AeroFit 2s, these would make logical sense to purchase, especially for not that much more compared. They work perfectly as workout earbuds which they were designed to with their IP55 rating, so they can easily handle sweat and rain.
