I’ve been really impressed with the Soundcore C30i. The open-ear design is extremely comfortable, especially when wearing them for several hours, and I like being able to hear what’s going on around me without having to remove my earbuds.
The sound quality is surprisingly good for this style of earbud. Music comes through clear with a nice amount of bass, and voices sound crisp when listening to podcasts or taking calls. The Bluetooth connection has also been reliable with no noticeable connection issues.
Battery life has been great, and the charging case is compact and easy to carry. They also stay in place well without putting uncomfortable pressure inside my ears.
Overall, these are a great option if you want comfortable open-ear headphones with good sound, solid battery life, and a secure fit. Definitely happy with the purchase and would recommend them.
Update:
After almost to years my right bud has given out on me. I still would recommend.

I received these today and really wanted to like them. The hybrid open-ear clip-on design is a genuinely great idea, especially for safety when you need to hear what's going on around you, and I own a lot of earbuds and headphones so I had high hopes.
The problem is fit. The arm of the "C" shape that holds the speaker housing seems too short to bring the driver close enough to my ear. The result is low volume and a thin, tinny sound. I was honestly perplexed reading reviews praising the sound quality and saying the bass is decent, because that isn't what I'm hearing. With open-ear designs, proximity is everything, and this one just doesn't close the gap on my ears.
The charging case is another letdown. It feels cheap and a bit flimsy. If I tossed it in a bag, I'd worry about it popping open and the earbuds falling out, or the lid and hinge getting broken.
On the positive side, they're mostly comfortable, and I love the look. The transparent plastic is a nice throwback to the early 2000s when clear tech was everywhere.
Bottom line: comfortable, great-looking, smart concept, but the speaker doesn't sit close enough to the ear for these to sound good. If your ears happen to work with the geometry, your mileage may vary. Mine don't.

Problema con el táctil al contestar una llamada o el viento hace que el táctil se ponga loco y reproduzca la música solo, la verdad no lo recomiendo, material muy duro lástima la oreja

I ordered renewed to save money.
When it arrived, one piece was missing.
So I ordered replacement.
When replacement arrived, they wouldn't even pair, In my phone they didn't show up.
I tried everything to try but didn't work.
So I am going to return them.
I just put them on to get the comfort feeling, but for me they were not comfortable.
The buds are rigid plastic, and I am super sensitive to pressure around my ear. So I can't wear them long even if they worked.
Giving one star because they say "renewed" but consistently two pairs were bad.
Cheap copy of Bose ultra

The left earbud is defective and will not charge most of the time. I’ve tried jiggling it around in the case to make sure it’s connected to the prongs and I’ve also tried cleaning the contacts with alcohol but it’s seems to only work randomly for me. Otherwise they’re very good earbuds!

Item arrived next day. Box looked a little used, has sticker residue but charging case and ear buds are in great shape. Look brand new and work as new. So far no issues with a refurbished item.

Love these earbuds. They are so comfortable and sound great. I had bose clip on ear buds but everyone complained that it sounded like I was in a tunnel. The C30i have great sound for phone calls. Wish I would of got these before the Bose earbuds. Also these fit my ear perfectly unlike the bose that would come off my ear (I have small ears). Also the price for these makes these earbuds a winner in my book. Only difference between the two is C30i is missing the bass but not such a big deal to me. I wanted a good set that could let me listen to music and videos but could handle a good phone conversation too.

The Soundcore C30i earbuds are a stylish and budget-friendly they offer a secure fit and decent sound quality for the price, they fall short in two critical areas: sound privacy and ergonomic ease of use.
1. Significant Noise Leakage
The biggest drawback of the C30i is how much sound escapes the "directional" drivers. Because these sit clipped to the side of your ear rather than inside the canal, they act like tiny speakers.
Public Use: If you are in a quiet office or on a bus, people sitting next to you will likely hear your music or podcast once you pass 50% volume.
The Trade-off: While the open design is great for staying aware of your surroundings (like traffic or gym announcements), the lack of privacy makes them less versatile for commuting or shared workspaces.
2. Difficult to Put On & Comfort Issues
The clip-on mechanism, while secure once it's actually in place, has a steep learning curve.
The "Clip" Struggle: Unlike traditional buds that you just pop in, the C30i requires two hands and a bit of "fiddling" to slide onto the ear cartilage correctly. It isn't a seamless process, which can be frustrating when you’re on the move.
Long-Term Comfort: The rigid plastic design lacks the flexibility found in higher-end open-ear models. After about an hour of wear, the pressure on the outer ear (the helix) becomes noticeable and eventually uncomfortable, leading to "ear fatigue."
Final Verdict
The Soundcore C30i is a solid choice if you prioritize stability during workouts and don't mind others hearing a bit of your audio. However, if you are looking for something that is easy to put on quickly or provides a truly "weightless" feel for all-day wear, you might find these a bit cumbersome. Overall they look cool and the sound quality is good for open earbuds. They are lightweight and have a long battery life. The case is a good size. If you are looking for inexpensive open earbuds and don't mind sliding the rigid plastic over your ear then get these. Call quality I had no issues with the other party hearing me. Granted the times I've tried it was not in loud surroundings.

I am seriously overjoyed at finding these! They are truly the only design on the market that keeps my ear free enough for my purposes. They are perfect for using in the office. I only wear the left one, since everyone else’s desks are to my right, and changed the audio settings in my phone to mono so I don’t miss any parts of the music.
I work as inside sales support for a small electrical distribution firm so I have to be ready to answer the phone and be able to hear my coworkers in the small office too. I can pick up the phone and hold it to my left ear easily even with this on. I just pause the music first. I wanted something that wouldn’t need to be removed every time I had to hold the phone to my ear and this is it. I can also leave the music playing and hold the receiver to my right ear and hear the call perfectly.
I used the app to change the touch commands. I have the “Hold for 2s” setting for the Play/Pause and it’s perfect. It’s easy to trigger by just holding the earbud with your thumb on the back. No fumbling around trying to find the sensor or needing to try multiple times to make it work. I did notice that it’s much more easily/accidentally triggered if you don’t use the plastic ear grips. I use the smallest one and it completely solved the problem of accidentally triggering the Play/Pause with my hood. I don’t necessarily need to use the ear grips for making the earbud fit, it fit fine without it, but adding the smallest one did not make them too tight at all. It’s super comfortable and I wear it for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, and there is no soreness. I forget it’s on my ear. I’ve tested how well it will stay put by shaking my head and moving around in all sorts of dramatic way which I would never do in daily life and it doesn’t budge.
The main reason I needed these is because I work in an office with 4 other people and they listen to the same god-awful music on a Bluetooth speaker every day. I was being driven insane by having to hear stuff like Limp Bizkit, Creed, Britney Spears, and 90s dance hits every day. I’m a music snob with some obscure, niche tastes and I didn’t want to make everyone else in the office unhappy by requesting to take over the speaker a few times a week. Even with just wearing the left earbud it drowns out their music and I can’t tell what they’re listening to. There is truly no sound bleed from these either. I don’t have it super loud, but loud enough to enjoy my music. I tested it and can’t even hear anything coming from the earbud if I have it in my hand or on my desk. I have long hair that hides my ears and I doubt anyone in the office even knows I have the earbud on. They definitely can’t tell I’m listening to my own music to drown out their nightmare office music.
The sound quality is just fine for the average person. My husband is an audio engineer and I’m sure he would have some complaints about sound quality, but he lives and breathes audio so he’s very hard to please. For the purposes of passively listening to music while actively busy working, these are perfect. I first bought some of those bone conduction things with the strap around the back since the speakers sit on the temples and not on the ears at all, but I hated them and had to keep repositioning them because the strap would get bumped by my hair or hood. Plus it’s way more obvious that you have them on.
The charge is impressive and I could probably go 3 or 4 days without charging, listening to music 8 hours a day. I love that the case holds a charge and I don’t even have to plug it in during the week and it recharges the earbud. I only plug it in on the weekend to charge it up for the week. You can find the battery levels for both earbuds and the case itself in the app.
Lastly, I love how it looks. It really doesn’t matter compared to everything else, but I think it looks cool with the clearish outside and the components visible. It’s just a nerdy bonus for me. I truly LOVE this product!

I’ve been using these for quite a while. Got these because I want a pair of buds that are open to the surroundings for random walk or gym use. They are quite comfortable and easy to wear for 5+ hours. Sound quality is decent for an open setup. Though I have to say during the first month I do experience some charging issue. Not sure whether it’s because the pins in the case or what. But now this issue just gone by itself. Overall solid and good value for money at this price range.

Pros (What I Liked)
Dual connection lets me stay paired to my phone and PC at once
Soundcore app gives great control over EQ and touch functions
Comfortable once broken in — I often forget they’re even in
Ambient sound feature is excellent for awareness while listening
Reliable Bluetooth connection and solid battery life
🔹 Cons (What Could Be Improved)
Mic struggles in noisy environments
No active noise cancellation (ANC)
Bass response isn’t ideal — not surprising for open-ear design
Not great for immersive viewing on a plane
🔹 Fit & Comfort
Felt a bit unusual at first, but after a few sessions they became second nature. I often fall asleep watching TV with them in and wake up still wearing them comfortably.
🔹 Sound Quality
Balanced and clear with smooth mids and highs. The open-ear design naturally limits deep bass, but it’s a fair trade-off for the comfort and situational awareness they provide.
🔹 Ambient Awareness
Being able to hear what’s happening around me while listening to music or podcasts is a huge plus. Ideal for home, walks, or light travel.
🔹 Connectivity & Controls
Dual Bluetooth connections work flawlessly between my phone and PC. The Soundcore app makes adjusting EQ, touch settings, and other features simple and responsive.
🔹 Value for Money
✅ Great Value
Strong comfort, smart features, and solid performance at an affordable price point.
🔹 Final Verdict
A reliable, everyday pair of open-ear earbuds built for comfort and awareness. Not made for heavy bass lovers or noisy travel, but perfect for work, walks, and relaxed listening.

I bought these as I was fedup of my airpods falling out in the gym and it was a good choice. They're comfortable and do not fall off at all. I wear glasses and they're no problem with these. These earbuds have good sound quality for the price, especially once the soundcore app is used and your perfect settings are selected.
However, after using it for just 2 weeks, only in the gym so about 1-2 hours a day, the right side battery does not last. I charged them fully in the night and 5 minutes after putting them on, the app says the battery is less than 50% while the case and left side are still at 100%. After about 40 minutes of usage I get a notification that it is less than 10%. Since it is only one side it seems to be a product issue and not reflective of the battery capabilities.
UPDATE: Customer service responded almost immediately and replaced the product. Due to a shipping issue they had to do a 2nd replacement as the 1st replacement never arrived. Throughout the entire process customer service was quick and helpful.
The replacement works much better and does not have any of the problems with charging that the 1st pair had. I still love the comfort and form factor, it never falls out of my ears and was still comfortable after 10+ hours of flying and layovers.
Definitely recommend especially for the cost.

The right ear bud was cracked in the middle skinny part and on the verge of snapping in half. The paint on the case was chipped in some places.

This is my third soundcore device, and once again I'm happy with the quality at the price sold. I love these, open air earbuds are now my new favorite. I love that i don't have any buds in my ear. With these I feel nothing on me. If I don't have anything playing I forget they are on me. The sound quality is also great. I work in a loud armored truck and I have no problem listening to what I want to listen to while also being able to hear my surroundings.
Update: They have stopped working. I used them damn near everyday and enjoyed them, I have to lower my rating because I couldn't get a year out of them. I will still purchase products from company with no issue.

Best affordable headphones. Good quality Calls that are same as my samsung headphones but for a great price.
Battery is long lasting, ive talked for 4 hours and batt went down 70% only.
Its really nice because it doesnt slip or fall off and its secure on your ear while doing different activities.

Update: customer support reached out to me after my review and went the extra mile to help me out. I just wanted to add that their customer service is top notch!
pros: comfortable, holds on well and allows for ambient sound
cons: sound is just okay and mic picks up too much ambient noise
i was skeptical of the design but wanted an something that held on better than traditional earbuds, especially for exercising. i was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable these are; they're not so heavy as to weight down my ears, and they grip well enough to withstand a light workout without risk of falling out.
i'd rate the audio quality at a 3.5/5 as they any real lack low end depth. the highs are clear and mids are also acceptable. for me, the biggest downfall for these were the mic. in a quiet environment like a car or bedroom, they're fine. in a gym or outside with a light breeze, it was awful for anyone on the other end of a conversation. they complained about the level of background noise overpowering my own speech.
all in all, if you have a need for an "open" headphone experience which allows you to be aware of your surroundings and don't need to use these for phone conversations, the soundcore c30i earbuds by anker are definitely worth checking out. if you're looking for high fidelity audio and/or use the built in mic for a lot of phone conversations or have a use for background noise rejection, look elsewhere.

Yeah I mean these buds are the future. I can still hear stuff around me when I go walking or running which is cool and they're also good for inside cuz I'm always listening out for deliveries and stuff. They stay on my ears all day. You will have to EQ them cuz they don't have much bass. Took a picture of my EQ settings. I use the soundcore app to do it so I don't have to change the EQ on my music player which would be bad when I switch to speakers. This EQ I call the Big Dipper lol. It cuts out some of the shoutiness and boosts the bass a bit. You can go more extreme with it of course if you want a lot of bass but I found doing a V-shaped EQ made these buds too shouty. They're cool though and my "renewed" ones were brand new in the box lol.
J
Update: great customer service was able to choose between replacement (with newest version which has apparently fixed the issues that i brought up) or refund which i chose since i recently got a new set from family as a gift
I've used them almost daily for 8 months now (replacing the soundcore life dot2 for work but i still use the soundcore life q30for home so im familiar with soundcore and love thier products and price point): they are very comfortable and stay in place, battery lasts long, sounds great for open ear style (unless in a loud environment),
Cons: if the sun or bright light is behind you and a shadow passes across the touch sensor it will think its a touch and pause or play.
If the case's battery is low it won't know you put ear phones in the case so you'll need to manually disconnect the Bluetooth.
Worst con is after a month the charging pads on the earphones themselves started to get worn out just from putting them in the charging case after 8 months its getting harder and harder to find the perfect position so they will charge in the case.
If i didnt have to turn off most of the touch commands and the charging issue id give these a 5
Jessi G
UPDATE: After 2 months, the earbuds started to glitch. While wearing and listening, the buds will randomly activate the tap controls, skipping or pausing media. Also, sometimes after securing the buds in their case, they won't disconnect from Bluetooth. So I have to manually turn off my phone's Bluetooth.
Original review:
The sound is loud and pretty clear, even though they don’t sit inside your ear canal, and they’re silent to people around you. They don’t block out all outside noise, so you can still hear what’s going on around you.
They’re comfy and stay in place without hurting your ears, even after long use. You can tweak the sound profile in the Soundcore app. I did notice some echo with the default settings (like Soundcore Signature and 3D Surround Sound), especially for podcasts or anything speech-heavy, but switching to the Bass preset helped a lot. You can also set up your own custom sound profile buy adjusting the equalizer settings.
The controls are easy to use—double tap, triple tap, or hold for two seconds—and you can assign different actions to each earbud (like play/pause, skip tracks, adjust volume, etc.). I think they're a good pick for the price.
I wish they had a preset sound profile for podcasts. I have no idea how to configure a profile to enhance speech quality.

I use the Bose Open Ear religiously, but the battery life doesn’t last my work shift so I looked around for similar earbuds to last me the day and settled on these.
Not gonna lie these sounded like 💩 right out of the box and with their in-app EQ presets, but after messing around with a custom EQ, I found something that makes them bearable.
Obviously they’re not gonna compare to the Bose, but with the EQ I posted they sound better for general use.
I was honestly very close to returning them until I messed with the EQ.

So if you're like me, you use earbuds for a lot of your day and/or need something that allows you to be able to hear people for work or whatever without taking an earbud out. Are these the solution? Well...yes. I put these in my ear at 8am and dont take them out until 9pm and let me tell you, I like em. Theyre sturdy, they have good quality sound, they hold literally 11 hours (plus?) of charge, and if you make sure to put them on right, they dont hurt your ears. They are definetly grippy, they stick onto your ear better than some earbuds I bought specifically for jogging to hold onto my ear. Plus, youll get a lot of people noticing them and saying they look cool, like earings, and asking what they are. Youll start feeling like a soundcore sponsor eventually.
So what are the cons? Why not buy right now? Well....they're not for everyone. Im lucky they fit my ear, but they might not fit your ears. If your ears are sensitive they might hurt them. Theyre basically just a mini speaker attached to your ear, which doesnt hurt your ear or affect the audio quality, but that means if youre in a quiet room, other people can hear that you're listening to something. Not to mention, the price may seem a little steep for experimental style.
So, should you buy? Well, if you really want open ear earbuds that look cool and hold a lot of charge, sure. But even Ill admit, you might need to give it like a week to break into your ear (and that was me wearing it for like 10 hours a day). If not, just buy a regular soundcore earbud. They got good stufff.

My ear holes are garbage. They're both small and one is funny shaped, so I have a problem with most ear buds. All of the "true wireless" ones tend to be wildly uncomfortable, fall out, or make me want to rip them out.
I have been a huge fan of the LG Tone neckband style headphones for awhile, but the build quality on them is crap, the microphone stops working in short order, they stop charging, and ultimately they don't tend to hold up over time. After my last pair broke, I have been in a bit of a headphone rut. I really like the ability with the neck band headphones just to pull them out and let them retract into the band and sit on my shoulders not bothering me. The true wireless ones don't have an option to be at the ready, but not blocking your hearing- you can leave them in your ears or have to carry around the case and put them in. Once I slide these onto my ears, I often forget I'm wearing them until my wife asks me if I'm listening to something or just not paying attention.
I'm not an audio snob, so I can't really say how their performance is to other headphones, but I've definitely used worse headphones over the years and have been fairly happy with them quality wise. My primarily use of these are for podcasts/audiobooks/youtube with the occasional work call. I haven't had any issue with the sound and no one has complained about my mic.
My negatives- the controls are ok, but I would like some better tactile feedback and multiple buttons, tapping the side of my head repeatedly and hoping to get the right option is meh. I wish that they had the option to vibrate for notifications or phone calls. I also wish they had a higher waterproof rating so I could take them in the shower, because I forget they're on and have almost gotten in the shower with them a number of times.
Bottom line, if I had an unlimited supply of money, I'd stock up on those neckband LGs that I like because they're really convenient and definitely my preferred form factor. But since I work for a living and don't like pissing away money on headphones that last for less than a year, I'd buy these again in a heartbeat.
Benny
I bought these to give me more situational awareness while running as I wear glasses and didn’t want to have a bone conducting headphone sitting on top of them. These allow my ear canal to stay open, secure on my ear lobe and offer very good sound. Gf also struggles with ear infections and these are the only kind she can wear that don’t fit in the ear canal as she wears glasses too. So I will be purchasing the white for her. The negatives I can see so far is the touch controls aren’t the greatest, but hopefully I will get better at using them, and there is no volume control from the headphones have to use your device to adjust it. You can connect to multiple devices but people nearby can hear your music if it’s a quiet enough room and your playing it loud enough. But for running they fit the bill perfectly.
KORRY
I don't know if it's just me but music on these sounds good and other times it's ok. It depends on what song is playing but most of the time it's good
THEY DO NOT BLOCK OUT SOUND!
So you will hear literally everything which for me is a good thing.
I got these for cuss other earbuds kept falling out my ear and when they were in my ear i couldn't hear people talking to me
These fix that i don't have to take out my buds every time someone is talking i can be hands free
Everything like battery life, sound quality, comfort, are all good to me
I just wish they was a little louder even though they are pretty loud for open ear buds
Thats more of a personal thing of me
LC
I normally use either a pair of over the ears headphones or sound isolated earbuds. I use the over ears headphones at home and earbuds on my daily walk. The problem with those is that when someone needs to talk to me, they can't get my attention unless I can see them waving. So I started looking for ear buds that will let outside sound in (pass thru?), but the reviews I have read seem to be mixed.
Then I started looking for open ear headphones that supports multi-points connections (for my phone and computer/TV). The most common ones are the ones that loops over your ear. I can't wear those as I am wearing glasses. That left me with clip on ear ones like these. I have briefly considered the more expansive brand but those are just overkill for me for the price. So I picked the soundcore c30i.
I have these for about 1 week and I wore them everyday. I have big ears and I can't get them to point downward like the pictures shown. The picture I have shown is the ONLY way I could wear them on my ear. I have them on now and I don't feel them unless I think about them. After about 3 to 4 hours wearing them, my ears feels a little sore and have to take them out and put them after a while. I was hoping, in time, this may go away. I do wish they have a bigger size for bigger ears.
I listen to mostly audio books and YouTube video, so sound quality is not really that important. To start off, there is no bass even when you put the soundcore app on "bass" setting. I left it at 3D as I found it best for human voice (audiobooks). The feeling is really odd when I have it on as it is like someone standing next to me and reading me the audio book. I can still hear everything else around me. This is exactly what I needed.
The battery life is out of the world. I usually have it at around 50% to 70% and I have not seen the buds' battery level drop below half at the end of the day when I put them back into the case. I have to charge the case after about 4 days as the LED light turned red and app shows it is empty. I wish the case would show you the battery level so you don't have to look into the app to see it. Also the case battery level does not update the app until you put the buds back inside the case.
The capacity button is pretty useless. I practice and practice and still hit/miss rate is like 50/50. I don't even have any hair covering my ears. I can see if you have longer hair, this is going to be so bad if you need any kind of control over earbuds.
To make these work for me, I would need the clip to be longer so to not cause ear soreness, an actual button for control and case have 4 led lights for battery level. Unfortunately I have to return these as after a week wearing them, the ear soreness is not going away. And it is starting to cause me mild headaches too.

I was intrigued with the new clip-style as in ear buds get uncomfortable for me after 6-8 hours. Now, I own the liberty 3 anc buds and they have been absolutely perfect, save the charging issue that I was able to resolve. Great for noise cancelling and ambient mics are top-notch. Sound quality is also great. Now for the c30i clips....The fit is great for my goofy ears. Sound quality isn't for audiophiles, as to be expected. Better than bone-mics but nowhere near as good as in-ear buds. I don't like the touch controls location. I'd prefer the button style that base has. Call quality is excellent.
I saw another reviewer say there isn't eq controls. That's wild as I had no problems making Sound adjustments with the app I already had from the liberty 3 anc buds. Lots of options in the app, including changing/customizing the touch controls. These are a 1/4 of the price of the bose clip-style. So of course the bose edges in Sound quality. But these are a great value for someone who buys headphones twice a year due to heavy use working outdoors. I'm satisfied and most of you will be too.

Update: Soundcore added an equalizer option with a firmware update. Now you can tailor the sound better. Still super happy with these.
I have tried a few open ears buds. They all are lacking in the sound area. These have good sound, lack bass. However, for the price and what's delivered. These are really good. I am going to primarily use these for biking and hiking. My girlfriend and I are going to use one bud each, and use them while hiking and biking. That way we are listening to each other and our playlists. Works great for that. My ears are not having the same issues as others. The buds don't have phantom touches registered. I like them for my purpose, which is what I bought them for.

I hoped these would be a cost effective alternative to the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds but it wasn’t meant to be. Compared to the Shokz Aeropex or the Open Rock Pros, the sound quality is about what one can expect from a pair of headphones that sit outside your ears. As mentioned in other reviews, they’d probably benefit from having an equalizer in the app but I don’t think it will make a drastic difference (I tried adjusting levels in Spotify and bass output was minimal at best). These still would’ve been exactly what I was looking for if not for the poor design choices. These were uncomfortably TIGHT no matter how I had them on my ears (I even watched Anker’s 30 second video on how to wear them). Worst of all, the shell is made of hard plastic that offers ZERO flexibility. What is offered for flexibility are two pairs of clip on ear grips for an even tighter fit that happens to be made of… more hard plastic. Circled in my photo is an actual indentation after having them clipped to my ears for about an hour. I really wanted these to work, I even tried to wear them throughout the week but they just turned out to be downright painful at times.
TLDR: For this type of design to work, it should offer adjustments for a tighter AND looser fit. As it stands, these will only fit ears of a certain size and shape. This means your decision to buy them (or return them in my case) may not be determined by how they sound but by whether or not you can even wear them.
