Ear buds for Running

I bought these in order to have music while I was jogging. The ear clip style was a really great improvement to stay secure, but occasionally would take some adjustments to be the heard well over traffic. The touch controls need to be pretty intentional, but also meant they don't get accidentally triggered. With running they do take some extra care to keep clean. They certainly sound good when I'm out running.

I had issues with one pair because they were not charging in the case. When I reached out to customer service, they were very quick to respond and helpful in directions for cleaning. When that didn't work, they sent me a replacement.

Overall, I would give the ear buds 3.5/5. They are great for the price, but sometimes take some fiddling with. I'd give Soundpeats customer service 5/5.

Awesome - - but stopped connecting after 4 months...

12/30/2025 UPDATE:

After my initial review, I was contacted by the seller and offered a refund. Because I had been so impressed with the original purchase, and with the seller's diligence in standing behind the product, I used the refund to purchase the same product. After one week, im just as delighted by the sound quality, comfort, and longevity of battery life. I love being able to walk around my house doing all kinds of chores without any problems of them moving or falling off. So... overall, the review went back up to five stars. I will update again if needed in the future!

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

There are two parts to this review. I got these as a gift from my husband for my birthday last July. I loved how comfortable they were in my ears (I HATE the feel of earbuds). The sound worked great. 5 Stars for these features. I never got the hang of the taps and how to answer calls, so, 4 stars for that- because it was likely user error.

However, four months later, the earbuds just stopped connecting to any of my devices. It shows up on my list of available bluetooth devices, but then fails to connect. It's fully charged, but has just stopped connecting. I am going to reach out to the company to see if there is something that they can fix or if this is an anomaly. I hope it is. I've never liked a set of earbuds as much as I like these. If this is a typical function of the earbuds, then 1 star. But if not - - and it's just something with this particular set - I'll update and give it five stars.

Stay tuned...

Need a magnifying glass to read instructions.

These work great. But…you will need to make sure you have a magnifying glass to read the instructions. The print in the instructions is extremely tiny.

The future

Earcuff headphones are the future. In ten years only weirdos will be jamming pods in their ears. Make a set in shiny fake gold and I’ll give you triple what I paid for these 😎.

Well worth the price

Didn't know I needed these. They sound surprisingly good. Great for any time you don't need noise canceling. I can keep on listening to music while carrying on a conversation or walk around the city or neighborhood where I want to hear my surroundings as well.

Perfect light earbuds you wont regret!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:

I read so many reviews, and kept coming back to these. I am so happy i went with them. The sound is amazing they fit on your ear and you cant feel them. The touch buttons are simple to use . I wear these to the gym when i workout and they dont slide around, not even when running . The ear buds are not as big as i thought they would be. The charging case is also small. I feel these are better then my JBL earbuds. Would recommend!

Comfortable, good audio

This will be my 2nd soundpeats product. My first was the Capsule 3 pro plus earbuds which are better than even the Bose earbuds that I paid over $100 for. But this review is for the pearl clip pro earbuds. Unlike the capsule 3 pro plus these don't support ANC or High resolution audio. However even though they are clip on over the air earbuds they still sound really good. I will definitely purchase more from this company in the future.

Electronics Product Enjoyer!

Louder - healthier - safer

I tried two different models of open ear clip style ear buds before landing on these.

IMO these are amazing value - half the price of the other ones I tried. The reason these are better is because of the size - the longer middle section allows the speaker to get much closer to the edge of your ear canal - making them much louder.

The open ear design is perfect for safety when you're outside and still want to hear dangers like traffic etc or when you're in the home or work environment when you still need to hear if someone is trying to talk to you - IE not noise cancelling.

I literally forget I'm wearing them - that's how light they are - they don't squeeze your ear at all.

The app is not bad - I tweak the touch settings to just volume up/down and play/pause, and sound profile to max volume.

I much prefer to use one in bed at night to listen to podcasts than the airpod style I was using before, mainly because the airpod style headphones plug your ear canal trapping shower water and ear wax.

Highly reccomended - I even got a silicone protective case for mine - that's how much I like them.

Quality Earbuds that are Comfortable

Nice design earbuds that are Comfortable to wear. Iich prefer these "clip-on" earbuds to the bone conduction earbuds. These are more affordable than the latter and the listening is better and you are not sacrificing the listening experience. The only con with these earbuds design is that you will hear the wind if you are moving at great speeds like on a bicycle. They are also light and comfortable.

These earbuds work for calls very well. I havent gotten a complaint on the mic quality. The app will guide you through connectivity and allow you to tune the listening experience you may want. The adaptive EW makes a difference in getting a better experience.

All in all, these SoundPeats are a good buy.

Better than my Apple AirPods gen 2

Very very comfortable, great sound quality, different sound balance options (bass boost is my favorite preset), easy to navigate the app and they look so cute! Such a great product for the price.

Premium sound at a budget price.

Pretty solid clip type earphones. I was looking for one and tried Shokz but was disappointed on the sound quality for its price. So I went and checked the old reliable Soundpeats line and dang, they sound almost the same for a fraction of the price.

This type of earbuds works well for me with my glasses and has enough juice to last my workout and then some. The longest I have tried it is almost 4 hours and it still has juice. It’s very easy to connect to multiple devices too since you only need to go to your Bluetooth settings and hit connect to a previously paired device.

Overall it’s a solid purchase. It proves you don’t need to spend a lot just to get decent sound quality and battery life for a clip type earphones (looking at you Bose and Shokz).

Worth it for the price

While I know that it's an unfair comparison, I bought these (Soundpeats pearlclip pro) and the Bose Ultra Open earbuds to compare the two. The short version is that the Soundpeats punch way above their class versus the Bose, and given the choice I would much rather buy the Soundpeats. Having said that, the sound for and feel are better on the Bose are better, but not by much.

Great sound,great seller

Well, I wanted to wait and use for a while before writing a review. It has been more than a month and sound quality is really awesome! I didn't expect so much, price is not so high at the end. Charging is easy and I am not using every day for hours so it goes for a long time. I have tried them while walking no problem at all. I have small ears and mostly earphones and earbuds fall off or hurt, but this is ok no hurting, not so heavy, only I feel a little uncomfortable after a few hours if I use like that and guess its normal. The greatest part is seller's communication. I had a problem with connection, sometimes one of earbuds didn't work,i had to reset or recharge to solve it,but it becomes annoying after a while and I didn't want to return because I really like it. Seller helped me a lot and they sent me another pair which is working normally right now. I hope this one goes without problem! Once again thanks for great communication with seller!

Unique design works well

Great sound and fit with near-ear cuff design, found comfortable fit fairly quickly, less trouble than finding correct fitting ear pieces

The BEST Open Earbuds I've Ever Had

I've had a couple of open-ear headphones before and I never liked them because they sounded very boxy or lacked base but these are completely the opposite. How soundpeats manages to pack this much sound and Bass into these proclip rolls is amazing.

The purpose for these was to wear them at work from 11:00 to 7:00 and you completely forget that you have them on. That's how light they are. The connectivity is very fast, they are built very durable and the app connection allows you to set the EQ to adaptive and I did the sound test and now they sound amazing for my hearing.

These are incredible value for money. The only negative I would give it is the microphones aren't great. Every conversation I've had on the phone with anyone they asked me if I'm wearing cheap headphones because I sound terrible. Other than that the actual sound music wise is great and you just can't beat these for the price.

Great battery life

The included multiple ear tips ensure you can find the perfect size for your ears, which adds to the overall comfort. Whether I’m at the gym or on a commute, they stay in place, which is a big plus for me.

The sound quality is where these earbuds truly shine. The PearlClip Pro delivers rich, balanced audio with a surprising level of detail. Call Quality:

The call quality on the PearlClip Pro is surprisingly good, thanks to its built-in microphones that do a great job of picking up your voice clearly while minimizing background noise. Whether you’re in a busy area or a quiet room, the person on the other end of the call will be able to hear you without issue.

No more painful ears.

These have great sound, and feel very comfortable I forget I'm wearing them all the time. Other earbuds have my ears so sore after an hour or two but these I barely even feel. So glad I decided to try these out!

Big sound in small package!

These earbuds are exceptional! The sound quality is superb for my podcasts and music, exceeding my expectations, especially considering their small size and open-ear design. However, if you prefer a bass-heavy sound, these Soundpeats earbuds may not be ideal. Their features—the Soundpeats brand reputation for quality, multi-point connectivity, app support, and equalizer—are very appealing. The open-ear design is a great concept, offering a secure fit while maintaining awareness of surroundings. They've become my everyday earbuds, and I highly recommend them. Battery life is decent and functionality for touch buttons need to get use to it. Overall very satisfaction.

Snug Sound, Sleek Style

I needed a quick, budget-friendly pair of earbuds for training for my first 8K. Found these, gave them a shot, and I’m hooked. Great sound, snug fit—I've logged 10 miles, and they stay put without me even noticing, except for the music. They let in just enough ambient noise, which is perfect for running in busy areas. At $40, you don’t get full noise canceling, but they still block a good amount. The wraparound design is sleek, and they even get some looks. Solid buy.

Quality of sound 👌

I wasn't expecting much, but wow! It totally blew me away. The audio is crystal clear! I could listen to this all day, seriously. The bass is punchy, but not overwhelming. And the treble is crisp and clean, no distortion at all.

Seriously impressed with the quality. Definitely recommend it. Exceeded my expectations!!!

Comfortable fit and good sound quality

I have been a long time user of soundpeats earbuds. This is my 6th set. I like the idea that these aren't shoved in your ear. That gets painful after awhile. These clip on your ear. The sound is clear and has nice base. I have not used them for a hard workout yet, so I don't know how they'll handle that. My ears are different sizes so I have a bit of an issue getting one to fit perfectly. But so far so good.

Paul

Easy to wear. They sound good. Stay on the ears all day.

These ear buds slide into the ear and kind of "clip" over the ear lobe to hold on. They are easy to wear. The sound quality is pretty good compared to other " open air " type of headphones or ear buds. You can hear the bass sound better and overall sound is louder. They have lasted a little over 8 hours of continuos use. They charge fully in about an hour in the case.

Long Charge

I really enjoy these headphones for listening to my audio books. The charge lasts forever! These also work if you get a phone call while using. I can hear the caller and the caller can hear me.

Good sound for this style and functions perfectly

I love this style of earbuds for the comfort. The sound has always been the weakest spot, but with these the sound is actually good. They aren't great for music, but they are passable. I use and love them for podcast or video watching, like YouTube. These are by far the best sounding earclip style buds I've tried. I have tried 6 other pair over the years, and these are the only ones that are passable with music.

These are the most comfortable buds and the only ones that I actually forget are on my ears. These also have dual connectivity, which works great as well. For this price, you can't do better. I've paid more for this style and gotten worse sound with less features. These are exceptional in every way.

Comfortable and Clear Sound

The SoundPEATS PearlClip open-ear headphones are surprisingly comfortable. They sit nicely around the ear, staying secure without pressing too hard. The sound quality is clear, and the volume is decent, making them great for casual listening or calls. They're easy to wear for hours without discomfort, and I appreciate not having anything blocking my ears. Perfect for outdoor activities, especially when you need to stay aware of your surroundings. Overall, a solid choice if you're looking for something comfortable and functional.

Satisfactory with Some Minor Annoyances

Overall: I like them. These are good if you want to leave the expensive headphones at home. The sound is fine for me. I don't have AirPods so I don't know what great ones sound like in terms of bass or treble. I mostly listen to YouTube videos and they are fine for that. The issues I had were that it took a few tries to get them to pair. At first the right one did not work, so I tried again and it worked. The right and left indicator are too small to read. The fit is okay but those with sensory issues might not like the feeling of having something on their ear. The most annoying part for me is actually the sets of taps you can do for volume or phone call, etc. I have so many gadgets and each has a separate set of instructions. I am not going to memorize how many taps equals what, but if you touch them while listening to something you will hear a **bink** sound which means you did something lol. I am sure I will figure it out because the screen will stop or rewind, etc. But despite these minor annoyances, these are satisfactory.

Edit: I have used these on walks and the sound is clear. They stay in well.

JHrunning

Wow

I have to admit the setup process wasn’t the easiest for me but once these were connected properly they function much better than I expected. I previously owned similar type but the sound quality wasn’t good and also didn’t stay on ears very well. However, these SoundPeats ones outperform all the same types. The sound quality is just as good as those in ear ones. The design is super sleek. Will take some time to learn the control but it is really not difficult. They also stay in ears very securely. As I’m having some ear discomfort recently, these out of ear earphones will come in handy. Since the sound quality is so great, I’ll use them even when my ears feel better. My new favorite earphones.
