Cool, comfy grip for OG Switch
Super cool light up patterns with slow breathing so it's not overstimulating. The battery life seems really good. I just charge it about once a week just to be sure. Very comfortable, not very heavy at all. I can play on my switch for a long time without my hands falling asleep now like they did with joycons. It's a bit big so will need a different case but, again, surprisingly light weight for it's size. Vibration is very light, which I prefer. I did get it on sale but it seems like a good deal for the price!

It’s not bad it’s not a snug bit though so it’s still wiggles even if you lock it in place and I don’t like that it doesn’t charge the device at the same time like the other one from a different company I ordered you have to charge the device and the remote separate

Cheap Garbage
Three days after the return window ended, the controller started having random spontaneous inputs. It is so bad that Super Mario 64 pretty much plays itself, and several times it has nearly bought software from the eshop.

Ergonomic with great features!
I love this controller so much! When I'm playing in handheld it is so much more comfortable than just holding the Switch 2. It's very well balanced and holds the system in perfectly.
They also have a way of getting the Switch 2 system to wake up with this controller directly! The buttons feel nice and have good feedback; they aren't very loud either. The joysticks feel better than the Switch 2 sticks, and I'm so glad they're Hall effect sticks. I haven't had any stick drift on my system, but I would also like to make sure I do not have that happen at all, so this will make things last that much longer!
The RGB lighting is a nice effect! Sometimes I play with them on, sometimes off. Also, the back of the controller where you slide the system into is like... felt? It's some kind of fabric material, so no worries about the system getting damaged!

Awesome functionality (but a bit bulky)
This backbone is user friendly and works exactly as intended. The overall functionality is solid, and setup and pairing are simple. Connectivity has been stable with no issues during use.
The customizable buttons add a lot to gameplay, and because of that this is now the only way my son plays his Switch in handheld mode for single player games.
It does feel bulkier and heavier than Joy Cons or a Switch Lite, and the added weight can be noticeable during longer play sessions.
There is no noticeable lag, and the product feels sturdy. For the price, it offers good value for money, especially if customization or handheld play are priorities.
Overall, this is a great option if you want more control options, as long as you are okay with the extra size and weight (which we are!)

Great controller!
This is such a great product! It's great to be able to hold onto the controllers now and not be worried about wrist placement or my fingers locking up. Very easy instructions to follow to hook up to the Switch/Switch OLED. And it's easy to change the colors of the controller lightning display.

The controller after a month
The joys stick was perfect before but two months in out of no where the whole controller has stick drift and will randomly tap buttons in or out of games. This is ridiculous and I was loving having the little slots in the back of the controller. The game I was playing was bishock but it does that in and out of games. It was great before which is why I didn’t fully give it one star but now it’s completely useless to me…..how do I even fix this issue.

Honestly, I’m confused how this is decently rated unless the one I received is just faulty. The issues have been consistent.
I got this for my younger daughter to provide a little more structure in the hand grips, because she holds tight. But these controllers lag, the joysticks stick and continuously pull you in one direction, the charger falls out of the charging port, making it nearly impossible to recharge, and the battery is ALWAYS dead. And to top it all off, if she slides it in and out of the controller by herself to put her switch on the charging dock, I have to ensure the screen is in place because the controller will lift the actual switch screen and it is pulling off of her switch completely now. Our experience with this controller has been absolutely miserable.

This is my honest review of the product, yes it’s made to accommodate for all the Nintendo switch 1 and Oled models, but I will really say this fits the Oled like a glove… the battery life is excellent the lights are a plus, the hand grip is nice too, the directional pad to replace the dots are nice…. Check my photos, the rapid turbo gives my buttons a longer life span on the games where u have you continuously hit buttons……

Works Perfectly
Been using this for only 2 weeks and I love it so far. I took this on a 8 hour road trip and it was perfect for playing in the car. I also use it while playing in bed at night. No complaints so far.

No more wobbly controls! Perfect product!
Exactly what I needed! I had separate grip controllers connected to my switch for years. Two individual grips that slid on either side of the screen. Unfortunately after years of playing, they were no longer locking in place securely. They'd move back and forth, causing lost connection constantly. I tried to put on the original controllers, but the problem still persisted. I had hoped this product would solve the problem, and I'm am so thankful it did! It fits snug and secure. No more wobbly controls, and lost connections. I couldn't be more thrilled with this product. It was easy enough to connect to my OLED switch, and for the price, it has exceeded my expectations. I was very worried it wouldn't work, because my original grips wouldn't connect at all due to the issue I was having. But this product works perfectly!

Great For Big Hands
I’m pretty new to the Switch world, and while I love the games and the Switch itself, the normal joycons are crazy tiny to me. I tried adding some grip but that didn’t really work out, and I was sick of losing because my hands Spidered over the controller lol
All that being said, this controller is great and 100% well worth the price. Feels great, responsive and works for bigger hands.

The Spican Switch Controller is a fantastic upgrade for anyone who prefers a more comfortable handheld gaming experience. The full-size ergonomic design makes it much easier to hold compared to the standard Joy-Cons, especially during long gaming sessions. The buttons are responsive, the joysticks feel smooth, and the RGB lighting adds a cool touch.
Connectivity was seamless, and the battery life is impressive. The turbo and programmable button features are a great bonus for customization. If you’re looking for a high-quality, wireless pro-style controller for your Switch or Switch OLED, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!

BEWARE, I purchased this product on December 20th 2024 and writing this review January 28th, 2025. I am not one to write product reviews but I thought that this was important. I Play Smash Bros using this device and there are ghost button presses that randomly press buttons while you are playing. Because of this it has become unplayable while using this device.

Better Than Joy-Cons
The JC200 wireless gamepad isn't perfect, but it's a definite step up for the Nintendo Switch.
What I Like
+ Better than Joy-Cons. The most obvious improvement over stock (and probably the reason you're here to begin with) is that the Switch becomes much easier to hold with adult hands, which for me, makes it possible to play in handheld mode for more than 10 minutes at a time without my hands hating me.
+ Handheld or tabletop or docked. Because it's wireless, it's possible to use the JC200 even when the Switch is not nested into it.
+ Smooth controls. All buttons are responsive and easy to reach. The Hall Effect joysticks feel good; although I can't tell a difference between them and analog joysticks in good condition, hopefully they'll live up to the hype of increased durability versus the latter.
+ Cool lighting effects. I would have been perfectly happy without any lights, but I will concede that the gamepad looks really good with the LEDs on, and they do not distract during gameplay.
+ The Switch locks into place. Some competitor gamepads rely solely on friction to keep the Switch in place. The JC200 has two locks on the back, one on each side.
What I Don't Like
- Blocks some USB accessories. I have some gaming earbuds that use a USB-C dongle that is wider than the housing of a charging cable. Thanks to the thick plastic ledge at the bottom, I can't connect the dongle when the Switch is in the gamepad.
- Noisy haptics. Even at the lower of the two settings, the haptic motors buzz as much as they vibrate. Some buzzing is to be expected, of course, but it's louder than some third-party pro controllers I have. Luckily, vibration can be disabled altogether if this bothers you too much.
- Not so cool-looking with the lights off. The vibrant colours of the gamepad in the marketing renders are pretty close to real-life, but they depend on the LEDs being on. With them turned off, the gamepad looks dull in a way that screams, "third-party accessory."
Despite its drawbacks, this is a pretty good gamepad that offers a vast improvement in ergonomics, and therefore usability of the Nintendo Switch. However, if looks are important to you, I'd recommend the versions of the JC200 in plain black or white, which only have light rings around the joysticks.

Awesome gaming controllers
I love using it compared to my other controllers. The price is a little too high for my liking but compared to similar controllers is way better because of the quality. I like that I can charge the controller separately so it doesn’t drain my switch battery faster. It includes a charging cable that splits into two so I charge them both at the same time. Battery life is super long too. I often find myself having to charge my actual switch more than the controllers. Connecting to ,y switch was super easy as well. After the first time it automatically connects on its own now. The colors are so so pretty! The joy sticks are the best so far from all my controllers. Its way easier to maneuver the joy sticks and feel much sturdier than others. It was hard at first to slide in the switch but after using it a few days became easier. The whole controller feels great quality and better build than any I’ve tried. It also feels like my switch is much more secure than using just the hori pro pad controllers. Over all this has become my favorite controller to use and recommend it for handheld gaming.

I thought about returning it
The main reason I bought this controller is because I thought its main purpose was to extend my battery. After ordering it I seen what it was for and asked for a return . I didn’t make it to the post office and said screw it and busted it open . Hooked it up easy as can be (almost as easy as the switch controllers themselves) and the feeling and experience it brought to my handheld gameplay has just been excelled tremendously. It feels great . The vibrations are smooth and you can fully customize the color scheme and plug in additional inputs with the touch of a button ? Easy . After using this I can’t believe switch hasn’t made something like this themselves . I feel like if you own a switch you should never play it any other way . If you’re on the fence about this I would just get it . This is just my personal opinion but I’m even more excited to play my switch every day just because of how amazing it feels/looks. The fact that I started to return this and ended up keeping it shows this is the item I didn’t even know that I needed lmao

Nice controller
This is an excellent controller to have for an Nintendo Switch. I have the OLED version and this works flawlessly. The lights are an added bonus and really aren’t as big of a distraction as I thought they were going to be. Pairing it is very simple, there’s actually a video on the listing on how to pair it. It feels nice in the hand. It has added buttons that you can customize their features or use. It comes with a charger that has two ends, one for charging your console and the other for charging the controller simultaneously, which I love!
I love how this controller locks in so well. My original Switch controllers want to slide out even though they are locked in and with this I don’t have that issue. I’m beyond happy with this controller and all of its features. The price is very very much worth it. This would make a great gift. I would definitely buy again.
If anything changes I will update my review but at this moment in time I highly recommend this product.

No amiibo support
It's a nice little controller, but it has no amiibo support.
It is important to read through the instructions as this controller has a lot of features, such as turbo mode and app support. It has multiple lighting modes, and has two locks on the back to keep your switch in place. The grips are comfortable to hold as long as your hands are big enough. Small kids might have trouble reaching everything. Regardless of the lack of amiibo support, which is why I didn't rate it 5 stars, I do prefer this setup over the regular joy-con controllers when I have the switch disconnected from the dock.
