We have ordered our electric vehicle, so we haven't used the charger yet. It comes in a compact carrying case, making it easy to transport anywhere. It seems very sturdily made. If you're fortunate enough to have a laundry area in your garage, you might find a convenient 240V socket available for use.
After reading the instructions, I found it simple to operate. Once we receive our new vehicle, I plan to update the review to reflect our experience with the charger. I have high hopes for its functionality over time. After doing some research it seems to be good value for money.

Easy to install and fairly easy to program. Works with 2006 Subaru Trailseeker.
The kit contains one 26' charging cord with a NEMA 10-30 plug on one side and SAE J1772 socket on the other, and a zippered storage bag.
NEMA 10-30 is the old 3-prong style dryer outlet. Newer dryer outlets use a NEMA 14-30 4-prong outlet (it now has a dedicated grounding wire). There are adapters to convert between new and old. Always check your local electrical code first to see what is permissible. The better solution is to just get a charging cord with the correct plug.
The charging cable has a rather simple interface. There is a single, small display that shows selectable values, charging status, timer status, etc. There are two green LEDs. The first indicates that the charging cable has power. The second indicates that the charging cable is charging the vehicle. Above the two LEDs is a single button. The button performs two functions: setting the charging amperage and setting the time delay. When the charging cable is plugged into the dryer outlet and BEFORE connecting to the vehicle, pressing the button changes the amperage. Once the cable is plugged into the vehicle, pressing the button only changes the timer. In both cases, once the correct value is displayed on the display, the value is auto-selected after a couple of seconds of not pressing the button.
This cord was tested with a 2006 Subaru Trailseeker. This does require one of the adapters (the smaller one) that comes with the vehicle. The vehicle's AC charge was set to 24A. The charge cord was set to 24A and then plugged into the vehicle. A time delay was then set on the charge cable. Once set, the timer counts down from the set time to zero. As expected, the vehicle was not charging until the charge cable timer reached zero.
NOTES:
- if the charging cable is unplugged from the vehicle, the timer is reset to off and the button is again used to select amperage. When the cable is returned to the vehicle, the timer will have to be set again.
- while a lot of charging accessories, including the adapters, have lock mechanisms on them such that they cannot be unplugged when the vehicle is locked, this charging cable has a simple tab-lever to keep it in place. Depressing the lever releases the cable regardless of vehicle state. The cable operates off a dryer outlet. It's unlikely to see use away from home where you might worry about someone stealing your paid charge. So, this is more FYI.

Charging Q4
We used to have laundry in our garage, so we had an unused 30 amp plug after we remodeled and moved the dryer inside. We have this running at 24 amps, charging our Q4 without issue for the past week. Pumping out 5kw, takes about an hour per 10% charge.
