Bright easy to read face

What a great clock! For having smaller overall dimensions, it’s very bright and easy to read- I can read the face from across the room. I like the way it spells out the month, day, and date and spells out the day of the week as well. A lot of information constantly displayed in a clear bright manner. Definitely would buy again.

Very helpful for someone who has Dementia

Bought this clock/calendar for my Mom who has dementia. It was super easy to set up and it has been very helpful. She can clearly see the date, day, time and weather.

Don't waste your time or money

The plug in part keeps coming apart. Not sure why it's built in 2 pieces. This makes my second one. Nice vlo v k , ill made plug in

We got this clock for my dad who is elderly and can't remember what day it is. I am very impressed at how easy it is to set up. I actually just plugged it in and it already had the correct time. I was very impressed. The instructions are easy to read, and if I ever need to change anything that is easy also. I highly recommend this product.

Very helpful and easy to read

This clock is very clear and easy to read, especially for seniors. The large display showing the day, date, and time helps avoid confusion. Simple to set up and works great. Highly recommended.

A lot of i formation

I love this clock. I gives so much information. It helps my elderly mother from being confused. The adaptive light is nice so it's not so bright at night.

No front alarm button for canceling alarm.

This clock would be greatly improved if they put a turn off alarm button on the front. Since they did not include the kickstand we were forced to hang it on the wall. Our loved one can’t operate it when it goes off

Perfect in every way. It’s good for anyone actually.

Mom loves it and she hates everything 😂 I will order one for myself also. It somehow cheers me up looking at it. Also tells you what the weather is like.

PERFECT!

I purchased this clock to replace one that died on me the other day. This new clock was delivered yesterday morning. Setting it up was easy. It is smaller than the one I previously had, but was half the price. It looks very nice. The one that I previously had, I only had for not quite 2 years! This one is easy to read. Has all the same information as the more expensive one. Needless to say, only time will tell (no pun intended) how this one survives. I will keep my fingers crossed. Thank you.

Large and clear for Memory care and elementary age

Got it for my elder to always know if it is am or pm with visuals. Then I got one for my kinder French immersion class because I could use the time, day, and date in French (among other languages!

Great for seniors suffering memory loss.

Nice that it dims at 7pm and goes full bright again at 7am

Pretty nice display I like the fact that it dims at 7pm and goes full bright again at 7am. The font is smooth the numbers are nicely rounted. Config menu was easy to navigate. Purchased for an elderly who was not tracking day-of-week well and this helped her a great deal.

Great clock for people with dementia, Alzheimer's or vision problems

My mom has difficulty recalling what month/day of week/time of day (morning, afternoon, evening, night) due to advancing dementia. She also has advanced AMD, so her vision is limited and has difficulty reading black on white. I purchased this clock as it had the features I needed to make my mom's life a bit easier. The clock (see pictures) I programmed to be in a multi-color format (day blue, month/day/year in a red/orange and, although the time is in black/white, the font is large enough for her to discern the time. I think the color banners I just mentioned above/below help too. The clock is very easy to set up, the menu buttons are on the back (see pic). I like that it has a daylight savings time setting, so it automatically changes (it can be disabled). The clock has an alarm feature, but this is too advanced for my mom, so I have not used it, but it seems straightforward enough for someone who can. It also has a slot for an SD card so it can function as a digital photo frame. I've not used this feature. All functions and features are clearly explained/outlined in the guide included with the clock. The clock has helped and I like the clock so much that I purchased two more (total of three) and have one in the kitchen, living room and her bedroom. The photos in my review are in sequence - the box before opening all the way through the clock on the top of her microwave. It has a peg stand (see pic) and while it does the job, I've noticed that when she struggles with the microwave door, she has a tendency to knock it over, so I had to move it. Under normal conditions - setting on a shelf, etc. the stand is no issue. I'd recommend the clock for any person who has vision or other challenges with day/date/time of day. As an aside, it also has a small weather indicator to the right of the time, but it is too small for my mom to see. Two enhancements I'd like 1) the ability to make the weather indicator larger and 2) a more robust stand. The clock including the frame measures (metric conversions are appx.) 7.75 inches (19.7cm) (H) x 5.5 inches (14cm) (L), the screens diagonal measurement is 6.5 inches (16.5cm), and the screen itself measures 5.75 (14.6cm) (H) x 3.25 (8.25cm) (L). Where H=height and L=length. I hope this review helps - and if you are a caregiver, please remember to take time to recharge by taking some time for yourself.

Nice Clock -would buy another .

Didn’t go straight to correct time when first plugged in. After reading directions, it was alittle time consuming. I’m a senior myself .lol.. After set up - my 95 yr. Old Mother loves it .

Great buy

I purchased this for the fact I am getting to the age I am getting forgetful. The display is large and is easy to read, adjustable brightnessand has 12 different alarm capability. Does come in several sizes and it is very well made.

Perfect for Mt Mother In Law

This really helped my mother in law in her nursing home. She loves sports so we wrote down the sports schedules with day and time and this helped her find what she wanted to watch!

I bought it for Mom, but it's helping me

My mom lives independently in a senior center. Six days of the week run the same, but on Sunday, the big meal in the dining room is at noon. Because of this, Mom worries about whether today is Sunday. When I visited, she asked me almost hourly what day it was. This clock (about the size of an iPad), solved that. She stopped asking completely. It helped her, it helped me. It's hard to believe what a big difference such a small change can make.

Highly recommend for older people

My dad has 2 clocks. He's had one for years that he likes, but we got him this one to help remember what day it is and on days that it's dark all day, he can see if it's day or night if he takes a nap in the middle of the day.

When he's had to go to the hospital and has trouble remembering where he is at night, we brought his 2 clocks and told him to look around the room and if his clocks are there, he will know he's where he's supposed to be, it helped so much because the combination of the 2 clocks is unique to him, so there wouldn't be any confusion for him.

Not good

After a day or so of working it would blank out or sometimes the time was incorrect. I’d unplug then plug back and then correct time would come on. Now, it doesn’t work at all no matter what you do.

Dead as a door nail

Lasted 22 months. Ordered a replacement only to find out the original power adapter was the failure point. Loved it while it worked and many visitors complimented the day, date, and time display.

Good Investment

PROS: 1) Plug in and the correct day & time of day are already set. Only needed to change the hour for daylight savings. 2) Didn’t need to reference directions for changing the hour; controls are intuitive. 3) Already preset AM (bright) and PM (dim) back lighting (7am/7pm). 4) Very lightweight. Was able to hang using just one velcro Command Tab. Overall, this clock is almost ‘plug-n-play’ out of the box. I would feel confident giving it to an elderly family member. CONS: Ordered white but the cord & USB block is black. Personally, I prefer they match. Where ours is installed, I was able to hide the cord and tape it down so you can’t see it. But if hung on an exposed wall, that cord would have stood out. Again, personal pref’. OVERALL, this clock is almost ‘plug-n-play’ right out of the box and I would not hesitate giving it to an elderly relative.

Easy to read

The background is black (it looks blue in photo) . Very happy with easy read day or night . We’ve only had a 3 weeks but very happy so far .

Great clock: Bad plug

The clock is beautiful. The letters are bright and crisp . So far, it has kept accurate time. Unfortunately, the prong on the plug is broken off in the wall. Not very safe when dealing with A patient who has Alzheimer's.. Would like to continue to use the product, but unfortunately, It has a defective plug. The bad thing is, I can't return it returned it because I purchased it 6 weeks ago. I'm now outside of the return Window.

88 year old Memory Loss

Perfect for my 88 year old Grandmother. She’s healthy but can be forgetful, this helps remind her what day it is which has been a game-changer for her. It was very easy to set up and you can see the text from across the room despite its small size.

My only complaint, it’s very expensive for something that is essentially an alarm clock. I bought two, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. I hope they hold up well. $36 is a lot of money for a basic clock but worth it if it truly helps her.

Upside Down or inside out? (solved)

We loved this clock! Until this morning when we woke up it was inverted, at first we thought one of our kids played a joke on us and turned it upside down, but it is not upside down. I see someone else said the same think in here, so this is not isolated. I bought this in March and this is November, so the window to return it is gone and the link to contact seller is gone, so not sure whom to ask for assistance.

Almost perfect

With one little change this could be perfect. I think this was super easy to program. The buttons on the back are set up similarly to a fire stick remote. You can program the entire thing without looking at the buttons. I thought the screen would be larger. It’s probably about 5”. I would say the screen with the frame is 7”. I would have loved the alarm function if there were a contrasting colored button on the front to cancel the alarm. As it is, you have to press a well camouflaged button on the back; and although it says “any key”, in reality it is any key but the top one which turns off the clock. Also, with the only way to cancel the alarm being on the back of the device, it’s not really feasible to mount it to the wall if you plan on using the alarm. I’m either going to see how we do without the alarm or I’ll paint one of the buttons so he’ll know where to press.
