No magnet

Nice tape measure but didn’t come with a magnet so defeats the whole purpose of buying and ordering a magnetic tape measure. Still a nice measuring tape but yeah

Magnetic peice.

Love the tape itself but the magnetic peice to it fell off twice. I lost it the second time.

Magnet ripped off first use

I have to double glue the magnet on, I forgot to this time,now its useless to me.

Go to for quality and accuracy, if you have smaller hands could be uncomfortable otherwise solid feel in the hand can be a joy to use on a daily basis. SUPER strong magnet, can pull over a steel chair with ease. Just make sure to tighten belt clip screw occasionally.

Quality tape. Long standout. Strong magnet.

Quality tape. Much stronger magnet that my Klein and milwaukee. Unfortunately the lack of measurements on the flip side and likewise a hook that would support underside measuring forces me to keep those widely inferior tapes around.

The stand out is also pretty incredible. I can get about 9 with the Klein, 11 with the milwaukee, and consistently 13 with the Stanley. You really don't think a long standout would be useful but you might be surprised how much more fluid your projects or job can go if you don't have to readjust to take your measurements.

Did I mention the magnet was very strong?
