I knew it would be plastic but it’s even cheaper plastic than I thought it would be! You can hear the cheapness when it rattles or you tap it. I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal but this is worse than anticipated

Broke after using maybe 10 times.

I needed a tape measure to keep in my purse and the cutesie ones were flimsy and not very long. This tape measure is 10 feet long so if you are like me measure furniture, paintings, light fixtures, etc while you are shopping this is perfect, sturdy and small.

I guess maybe I should have read the description better. I thought it was the metal 1/2 inch wide tape measure. I needed a new one for work but this is half the size of my old one. It’s plastic, really tiny and not what I needed. I pulled it out and it bent already so probably just throw in my junk drawer.

Liked it until it broke! Obviously poorly made.

I was glad to find this tape is smaller than I thought. It was hard to tell from descriptions and photos. It is just what I wanted.
I am posting some photos showing it compared to my Stanley 16' Powerlock, and each of those tapes in my hand (I wear a size Large Glove) so you can get a sense of the relative size.
The tape is quite narrow, not nearly as stable as its larger cousins, and feels delicate. So it isn't something I would use for work. I don't think Stanley could have made it much more robust without a trade off for its small size. I bought it to keep in my bike pannier for when I am shopping and need to measure something (I use my bike whenever I can for errands.)

I love having this little tap measurer. It’s handy when needing to know the measurements of something under 10’. Easily fits into my pocket.

Everyone should have one of these. Just stop taking mine.
