Incredible Upgrade from the Arctis 9X
I’ve only just started using them (first day of purchase) but I can already say these are probably the best headphones I’ve ever owned. I owned the Arctis 9X Wireless for Xbox before these, after nearly 5 years and 2000+ hours put into them they still held up in terms of sound quality, mic quality, durability, and comfort. The Nova 7Xs are just as comfortable in fact even more so with the adjustable band and strap length, and they’re almost 40 grams lighter than the 9X which makes it feel like I’m not even wearing anything. The biggest difference has to be sound quality, I’ve paired it up with the Dolby atmos custom frequency ranges and playing Batman Arkham Knight feels like I’m literally standing in Gotham. The 3d dynamic sound range can easily distinguish between ambient air sounds, rainfall on the different surfaces and even on the cowl which I couldn’t notice before. The combat sounds insane and every punch feels real, I can even feel the Batmobile rocket booster vibrate my head with the bass on these things. The battery usually isn’t an issue for me anyway since I have a habit of charging frequently. The noise cancellation works great, and with the companion app (yes you can connect to your Xbox and phone simultaneously) you can easily adjust your mic sidetone and output volume. The app does have over 300+ presets for most modern games not as fine tuned as Dolby atmos but I’m sure it gets the job done. Unbelievable, and just another testament to the quality of SteelSeries products. I will be a customer for life lmao

1/5 arrived dirty and or scuffed and not functioning.
Product arrived used, mind you it was purchased brand new. On top of it all…it never could even connect to the Xbox wirelessly... Waiting on a return shipping label, be weary.

Bought new, recieved broken used??
I purchased this product NEW and went back to verify i wasnt mistaken. This was to replace my first Gen Arctis 7 that isnt charging properly anymore. The first thing I noticed was the product seal sticker seemed tampered with. I opened the box and found a headset with a ear cup completely snapped off. I thought it may have been a manufacturing defect until I also saw the discoloration and fade on the inside of the headband. This is gross. I just paid full price for a broken, used headset. I really like Steelseries as a company but you have to get this kind of stuff fixed. It was very dishearting to get a product in this condition delivered to my house.

Easy Xbox series X volume settings from your phone
(Xbox series x) well worth the money. the sound quality and comfort is amazing. main reason I got this headset was because I have tried countless pairs ranging from different prices and brands. Was looking for a headset that worked well with hunt Showdown and NOVA 7X is excellent for the game Custom presets in the app made for the game you're playing makes it easy and volume limiter can be changed and you don't have to have a computer to do so
