UPDATE: I ordered a replacement and will update my review when I've received the new items.
My order came with the box already opened, slightly sticky, and with some clear signs of use. It came missing a battery, and the one battery that did come in the box won't charge in the connection hub, so I can't test the sound quality while I wait for a replacement. The build feels a little plasticy for the price, and the headphone cups seem a little small coming from the HyperX Cloud II Wireless, but otherwise are light weight and seem to be comfortable in the brief time I wore them.

High tech smooth sound headphones
What an amazing set of headphones designed for the ultimate sound experience while gaming. Although this can be used in any situation where you need headphones, it's best used when gaming. There is an intricate multi step process to adapt the headphones to you specifically when you first use them and set them up. They change your whole experience when listening through the system they are attached through and really bring it to life. They are set up to find exactly where your intaking your sound in your ear and send the noise right to it. I got the blue color and absolutely love it and they are so soft and comfortable if you need to wear them for hours, there are no issues. Easy to adjust and compatible with gaming systems. They are wireless come with a piece that connects to your system and therefore give you more features. The mouthpiece can even be pushed back into the headphones so it's not noticeable if you don't need it. There are backup batteries for the unit and it wasn't complicated to set up at all. They are pricey but definitely worth the price tag.

Top quality headphones with ANC and sound. Very comfortable.
This is most certainly the most expensive set of headphones I've ever gotten.
The quality, construction, sound, feel, features are all there and I think worth the price of entry.
Really comfortable to wear for long gaming or just listening sessions, and it comes with a seconds battery that's charging in the base while you use the one in the headphones, so you just have to swap the battery if its low. In my experience though they last a long time.
One thing I'd mention is that updating them is a must. After updating the firmware from what they came with I can do I think everything from the headphones that I could do from the base station.
Range is awesome on these, I can go across the house with them and not lose the signal.
Overall, I'd say if you have the need and the funds they are a good buy.

Excellent sound and build quality — minor connectivity quirk on one laptop
I’ve been using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni on my Windows PC for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best headsets I’ve owned. The sound quality is outstanding — crisp highs, punchy bass, and excellent positional audio that makes a real difference in competitive games. Build quality feels premium too, with a comfortable fit I can wear for hours without fatigue.
Performance-wise, it’s been rock solid on my main PC. Wireless range is great, latency is a non-issue, and the mic quality is clear on calls and voice chat.
My only complaint is a connectivity hiccup on one of my Lenovo laptops — every so often it loses connection and requires a reboot to get it working again. It’s not a dealbreaker, but worth noting if you plan to hop between multiple devices.
Overall, if you’re looking for a premium wireless headset with great audio and reliable performance, this one delivers. Just be aware of possible connectivity quirks depending on your setup. It is one of the more expensive options, but it’s very worth it. The extra battery and the long battery life give it pretty much infinite battery life. Very pleased with the headset.

Excellent and Versatile Gaming Headset
Having used various gaming headsets of different quality and varying price points, this is, in my experience, the finest that I have used personally. I originally purchased the Audeze Maxwell headphones and used them extensively for gaming; however, my alternate use for them for music did not pan out, because for me, there wasn't much of a point in using wireless headsets for music with a high quality wireless codec if they are so heavy in practice.
These have replaced the Maxwells for gaming use for me, and I haven't' missed a thing. There is so much to like about these. Not only do they have a long lasting battery and are light and comfortable, but they include a second battery that charges in the control box. I believe you have approximately 8 seconds when switching batteries before the headset powers off, but once you pop off the magnetic door and remove the depleted battery, it's a fairly quick process to switch.
These are not going to replace other headphones that I have for music for me, although they do sound good. I connect the control box to a PS5, but for those connecting to a PC, that might be useful for that purpose. The headset has a retractable microphone that disables when retracted. The microphone also has a red light that displays when the mute button in pressed, which is a nice touch. The microphone works very well, and the side tone is a drastic improvement from the Maxwells, which was noisy when audio wasn't playing constantly.
I don't use the control box much, but it is possible to change presets and adjust EQ on there. It looks really cool though! What I love is the fact that the headset can also pair to my phone simultaneously, which. opens up a variety of possibilities. You can take calls while gaming seamlessly, which I've done on my iPhone while playing the PS5. Even nicer, is that when they are paired, you can change all parameters for the headphones in the Arctis app. You can adjust the noise cancellation (which is good, not Bose/Sony good, but good for gaming), sidetone, microphone, etc. in there. PLUS, one of the greatest features of these is that they have so many pre-built EQ settings for most every game you will want to play. And, these can all be adjusted on the fly from the app.
Although these are fairly expensive, in my opinion they are worth the cost for those who enjoy gaming. They are extremely versatile and full featured, plus they are comfortable and sound great! What's not to like?

Great sound, pricey.. but worth it.
These things are awesome. I’d been shopping around for a new headset for a while, and SteelSeries was already at the top of my list. I was originally looking at the Arctis 7P. I’d owned a pair of SteelSeries years ago and really liked them, but when it was time to upgrade I went with the Astro A50s. They were solid, just didn’t quite hit the mark for me, so I ended up back on the hunt.
Anyway, these are seriously impressive. My favorite feature is being able to mix audio from multiple devices at once. A game, a call, and a video can all play together without having to pause anything. The sound is full, the mic is clear, and swapping batteries instead of waiting to charge is way more convenient than I expected. They stay comfortable even during long sessions too. The software can be a little finicky and the price is steep, but the headset itself is excellent.

Best versatility and very good sound!
The best most versatile headset that I’ve come across, deep bass, clear highs, and easily swappable battery system.
The headset is also very comfortable and has good battery life.
Microphone quality is very good and has tremendously good Noise Cancellation.
Ear cups are easily replaceable with anything you choose, I even changed mine to the Stealthz velour which is perfect. 😍
And best of all it works with every device!

Great product terrible warranty program
SteelSeries products are the best,
Most durable and longest lasting, I’ve tried other but was always disappointed. My only issue is that they force you to buy an extended warranty at time of sale and it cannot be added when you get enough money or simply forgot or thought I will add it later, well there is no later!!! A terrible policy! A policy that makes me think twice before I get another one of their products. I’ve owned four other headsets from SteelSeries and never had an issue but the idea of not being able to buy a warranty afterwards seems like bad customer service and a really bad policy, please add a warranty at checkout or else. Although I’ve never needed a warranty/RMA it’s still peace of mind knowing you’re protected!

Good Headset, Quiet on Xbox for Some Reason
I like this headset very much, apart from problems on Xbox, and it is a good upgrade from my older Astro A50 headset. The headset is adjustable (ear cuff height and strap band) so it accommodates my big head unlike previous SteelSeries headsets. The noise cancellation is not the same quality as a Sony headset, but it does make a difference. Don't expect it to completely mute your environment.
For some reason, the audio level is much lower on the Xbox that it is on PC or Bluetooth. When I max out the volume using my computer or phone, the volume is very loud and is at a level that makes me want to lower the volume. On Xbox, the max volume has about 60% to 75% of the audio range.
It feels like you have to use the app in order to boost the volume on the Xbox. It doesn't feel intentional by the manufacturer since the other platforms work well for volume, but I don't know why Xbox has this issue. The app is only available on PC. I made a boosted flat CUSTOM preset in order to resolve my Xbox volume, and it definitely increases the volume to levels where I need to lower it from max. Butt you end up with a bunch of peaks per the picture.
But by doing this, you will lose out on all the game specific presets offered by the app if that matters to you.
Be careful doing this through, because if you connect it back to a computer with this preset you might blow up (i.e. explode your ears).
Other than that, I'd recommend it. But if your a person that really plays their headset loud, cares about EQ settings, and you're mainly going to be on Xbox, maybe consider another headset unless this gets fixed. PC and Bluetooth you'll be fine. I don't know about PlayStation.
(Note: The 2.4GHz band and Bluetooth band have different EQ settings, so boosting Xbox will not automatically boost Bluetooth.)

High-End Sound and Loaded With Features
These are a very impressive headset overall and definitely feel like they sit in the premium category. Right out of the box, the presentation, build quality, and overall design all feel high end. The midnight blue color is a nice change from the typical black gaming headset and gives it a bit more style without being over the top.
The sound quality is where these really stand out. Whether gaming, watching videos, or listening to music, everything sounds very crisp and detailed. The wireless connection was solid, and being able to mix 2.4GHz with Bluetooth is a really nice feature, especially if you want to stay connected to your phone while gaming. The noise cancelling also works better than expected and helps you stay locked in. The mic quality is very good as well and came through clearly. Comfort-wise, these are good overall, though with a headset this feature-packed and built out, they do feel a bit more substantial than a basic gaming headset.
The biggest hesitation is really the price. These are absolutely a premium headset, and they perform like one, but you are definitely paying for all the features. If you are someone who will use the multi-platform compatibility, Bluetooth mixing, ANC, and higher-end sound, they make a lot more sense. If you just want a basic headset for casual gaming, they may be more than you need. Overall, though, this is a very well-made, high-performing headset that feels built for someone who wants one headset that can do just about everything.

Amazing Sound Quality
As someone who works from home and listens to music, I was bummed when my old Steelseries headset started dying. It was one of the few that actually fit me correctly as a girl, but was also appropriate for gaming and listening to high-quality music. When I saw the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni was an upgraded version of my current headset, I decided to give it a try and hoped that I wouldn't be disappointed with a wireless headset.
So far, I have to say that I am truly in love! The music from this headset is amazing, and the software takes listening to music and playing a game to the next level. Everything sound-wise is just marvelous. While getting it set up was easy, it did take some time to configure it with the software. While this wasn't a huge deal, it was the best way to get the best quality music, and the noise-canceling worked. It took close to an hour of tweaking to get everything the way I wanted, but the music is just truly amazing, and I love not being tethered to a wire now to enjoy high-quality music.
I will admit, though, it was very expensive, and I nearly choked when my husband told me how much we spent on it. While it was worth it, I may have waited until a sale if I wasn't needing one right now. With its lightweight design and overall look though, I am extremely happy!

Excellent Headset for Work, Dictation, and Sound Quality
This is an excellent headset. One of the biggest things for me is how much these headphones have helped with speech to text. I use them for work, and they have made it so much easier to express my thoughts without having to type everything out. That alone has made them one of the most useful and valuable pieces of gear I have picked up in a long time. The dictation has been flawless, the microphone quality is very good, and I also like the charging design. The base holds and charges the extra battery, so when one battery gets low, you can just swap it out and keep going.
I work with some of the best audio equipment in the world, including high-end studio monitors and headphones for audio production. So when I say the sound quality is good when listening to music, I am not saying that lightly. I listen to everything with a flat EQ response. These headphones are not the loudest headphones I have used, but the comfort and listening quality are excellent. The headphones are also adjustable, and I can wear them all day without any issue or ear fatigue.
Overall, this headset does so much more than a standard pair of headphones, and I doubt you will find a better pair at this price point that does this much.

The best wireless gaming headphones I own
I love these headphones. I'd say they're the best gaming headphones - wireless or wired - that I own. And I have a good-sized collection of headphones of all kinds. Not only are they great for gaming, but I'd put them up there with some of the best prosumer audio headphones I've tried. The sound is awesome. You can hear the faintest footsteps creeping up behind you or become immersed in the world of a racing or flying game. Music is excellent, too. Bass sounds have bounce to them. They're not just a dull thump as with other sets. In fact, when listening to songs I've heard for decades, I was very pleased to hear instrument detail I'd never heard before on wireless headphones. The charging is super easy and I love the "hot swap" batteries. Perfect for when you're in the middle of group missions. And all of that great audio comes with comfort for your ears. The pads and band fit beautifully on my head. I can't say enough good things about these headphones. Even though they're pricier than many, the quality sound, the comfort, and the convenience of multi-sources make these headphones a better value than sets costing much more.

Top Notch Quality that renders a wide performance spectrum
I’ve had an opportunity to try this out for a couple weeks now. I’m keeping this as my dedicated workstation & gaming headset (only when I game with my son). I consider myself an audiophile and my comparison is based on my experience from various brands for both open & closed back, over the ear options. I’ve sampled everything from my kid’s colorful LED gaming headset to my main go to, a higher end open back Fiio. Following are my thoughts broken down.
Initial Impression: Overall I am pleased. I feel the primary use case for this is the work place vs gaming, because this has a general flat sound profile, i.e., the sound is near neutral and less is emphasized. The best way I can explain it is, think of it like speakers from a solo higher end TV vs one using separate HiFi components. These are less effective at reproducing a wider range, which you might find at a higher end theatre. For gaming these could be a dulled, however it’s perfect for a work Zoom call or extended use because it’s much more manageable for longer periods. Note, it has customizable functions to make it brighter. Overall sound is nice, however less capable of rendering deeper base from explosions and or higher tones like cymbals, so for gaming & and high energy movies they’re less impactful, yet still capable.
Design & Function: This a sleek set up that evokes a quiet luxury vibe. Materials are on the higher end. Quality is evident in the finish, feel, & long term comfort. These functions better for work IMO because buttons like the mute are easily reached and even the mic boom is reachable and retractable. The wireless connectivity is stable and works as far as 50 feet and at multiple level in our house/home office. It’s about as good as Apple Pro Earbuds. Let’s conclude this section by saying it performs very well and resides on the higher end.
Value: I think these are priced right. In fact, given its’ refinement, customizability & general usability it garners very high marks.
Recommendation: If you’re looking for a very cable, multi-use headset that’s comfortable for extended use these might be a good option. What's good for some isn't good for others. For those interested in high intensity, brighter options it’s ok. For me these are my new go to general use headset

Some of the best gaming wireless headphones currently on the market…
I consider myself an audiophile when it comes to speakers and headphones. I’m usually in the market for top-tier consumer grade product, so when I found this over-ear headphone by Steel Series, I had to give them a go! I’ve been using these for about a week now, and these are my thoughts…
Sound Quality
These headphones are very high-end, and well the price speaks for itself. Lots of bass, but not too overwhelming on your ears. There are even some custom presets in the app that allow you to customize what you are hearing.
Build Quality/Feel
They feel very good on my ears. I’d say the ear pads are a bit too “sticky” if that’s the correct description, because I’m worried that they’d possibly rip easier then other brands that I’ve had (or even the Arctis 5 I believe I owned in the past felt less sticky). I’m not necessarily saying they are fragile, but it’s definitely one you’d like to keep in a case just to be sure. The extension mechanism is smooth, and the head strap feels great on my head.
Buttons
This is probably my biggest pet-peeve of these headphones. I’ve finally gotten used to them now, but originally when first using them, I could not for the life of me figure out how to turn the headphones off… Every time I tried, it would try to reconnect with my phone or computer, not do what it’s supposed to do. I’d say it’s a bit ambiguous at first, so make sure to play around with it for a while. I do like the mute button and the volume scroller, those feel tactile and nice! There is also a Bluetooth button which baffles me, but for all I know I had them on backwards, haha…
Connectivity
These headphones are some of the best wireless headphones I’ve used. I love being able to simultaneously be on my phone and computer and hear sound from both. Most headphones on the market right now don’t really allow for that. I own the Status Pro X earbuds, and they essentially switch between, but not simultaneous listening.
Comfort
These headphones can get a little hot on the ears due to the ear up material as I stated above. I can wear them for quite a while though with little to no issues.
ANC/Transparency Mode
Like most non-Apple products, this is the one area that almost hits the mark but lacks what the AirPod pros excel at. Even at full setting for the ANC mode, I can still audibly hear someone in the room with me with no sound on. That doesn’t bother me as much as when using transparency mode and them not fully capturing the spectrum I need when responding to someone in the house. I really think most brands struggle with this, but I have to give them credit; they still are setting an extremely high bar. The fact that they include these options anyways is outstanding.
The DAC
As many know from using Steel Series headphones in the past, the DAC experience is always stellar. They definitely stepped their game up with this new model. It feels extremely premium and top of the line. It allows you to change almost everything that the computer app allows you to change. Everything you need for the most part is a couple clicks away. Just remember to use the little button to go backwards on the bottom right of the display.
The App
I downloaded the app on both Mac and PC, and I have to say, the PC version is a lot better for these headphones… I don’t have any control over them on Mac which is disappointing. I really like the layout on the pc version though. It gives you the ability to change EQ curves to your hearts content, change the way your microphone functions, and even sets up your headphones with sonar to be able to run multiple audio sources at once and control them individually (haven’t tried it yet, but looks promising!)
Overall, the Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro Omni are some of the best gaming headphones I’ve used. They have great build quality and feel, sound amazing, have a lot of functionality, and are wireless beasts!!

Amazing for Competitive FPS and Music
Hello the new Nova Pro Omni is easily one of the best headsets I've used. I have had the Nova pro wireless since it's been release, and when I heard about the Omni I wanted to try them out. Comparing it to the pro wireless it sounds better, and with the right EQ I would say it sounds almost perfect.
I play a lot of FPS games like R6 and Valorant and when using the headset for these games I would say it is perfect. the sound detail is amazing and listening for footsteps is clean and not overwhelming. Whenever everyone is using there Util or Ultimate at the same time I can hear exactly where they are in my surroundings. With all that noise I can still hear the enemies footsteps.
I love listening to music a lot and I would say this headset can handle music really well. When listening to music you can hear every instrument the bass hits hard and the voice is also clear. I am a person that loves heavy hitting bass in my music and it can handle that.
The Comfort is honestly perfect. I can wear it for hours and not get tired of them. it feels light and the earpads feel amazing. I would say that since the earpads are leatherette and your room is hot you will sweat but not as bad as the old Nova pro wireless.
The mic is way better than the Pro Wireless but not as great as like a Astro a 50. the swappable batteries have always been amazing. The Bluetooth is great and you can also EQ it.
I don't really have many bad things to say about this headset. If you are looking for a great wireless headset I think this is it. If you are wanting to upgrade from your Pro wireless after having it for a long time I think you should if you have the money. I believe that this headset could be top 5 maybe top 3 wireless headsets cause of all the features it has and the amazing sound quality.
I wrote this review for the people that play Competitive FPS and Love listening to music.

Amazing!!
My partner is a total tech nerd so I had him try these out for a week to give me extra notes on things a less-knowledgable person like myself might not have noticed 🥰
The noise canceling and transparency modes are both great! The microphone is flush with the side of the headphones when not in use and easily slides out when needed. It provides great audio quality! Audio is crisp and clear, sounding like everything is right next to you whether on a phone call, listening to music, or playing games. I love the color and they are very comfortable to wear for hours on end. My partner is a big fan of all the features it has. We both love that it has an extra battery so you can always have 1 in use and another one charging/ready to go.
It uses 2.5gigahertz technology (which is like bluetooth but has better quality and no delay; it technically requires line of sight with the blackbox but was able to still work from the other side of the home through 3 walls). Using it with a computer requires you to install a software that pops up when you plug into the computer, and then you can adjust audio levels more in-depth. The app even has EQs made by fellow users that you can try out or use yourself! There’s a knob on the headphones that you spin to adjust the volume, AND if you push that knob in it allows you to select 1 of your multiple audio sources in use to adjust the each volume individually! I may not be explaining everything with perfect accuracy since my knowledge of tech is pretty standard, so just know it has a ton of cool features!
We struggled with figured out how to turn the headphone off initially LOL 😆 Holding the power button sets it into pairing mode, and THEN you hold the bluetooth button to turn the headphones off. At least I’m pretty sure that’s how you do it 😅 I’ll have to re-read through the instructions eventually and catch all the things I’ve missed or misunderstood haha
The only annoying thing is that the blackbox asks if you want to use the EU max volume limiting setting every time you turn the thing on. It would be better if it only asked you once at the start :)

I would not purchase this simply because the earmuffs are plastic. So the headset sticks to your head.. the older models use like a fabric material for the earmuffs. This is definitely not worth $400. I should return it.

The ultimate headset choice for gamers. You won't be disappointed!
I am a lucky user of several SteelSeries products, so when the Arctis Nova Pro Omni headset was available, I jumped on it. They come in three colors, but I like the graphite the best, so that's what I got. I have been using my Arctis GameBuds for a while, so switching back to a headset wasn't as hard as I expected. With its multi-platform hub, OmniPlay, ANC, and 24-bit/96kHz audio, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is the ultimate headset for PC, Xbox, and PS5 gamers, so it was a simple choice. What I like about the Arctis Nova Pro Omni is that it is not positioned as an absolute luxury flagship but at a lower price, making it more attainable for many users and potentially a more practical headset for most gamers.
It also has the brand-new retractable boom microphone with onboard AI noise rejection, which SteelSeries refers to as ClearCast Pro, that is supposed to have a more studio-like sound. After some tests using the mic, it is absolutely an improvement over previous versions, but I am not sure you could consider it studio-quality compared to more professional mic options. But it's much better for sure. Although the retractable mic is great, if you plan to use the included foam cover, you will have to put it on, remove it each time, and store it somewhere.
The selling point of this headset is that you can connect up to 4 sources simultaneously via USB 1, USB 2, or USB 3, plus Bluetooth and line-in. With the ports on the back, it works with PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. It even has aux inputs on the back for connecting an analog device and a 3.5-millimeter output. What else could you ask for! Of course, you don't have to use all that, but it is nice that it's there, and this has been a big asking point for gamers. If you want to have multiple connections going at once, it's extremely convenient.
The familiar sport fabric suspension strap, soft over-ear cups, removable magnetic speaker plates, and clean, simple aesthetic remain the same as in previous versions. The adjustable strap can be used to increase or adjust the clamp force. This is perfect for adjusting the noise isolation and a stronger seal.
The cup covers are removable, so all you have to do is put your finger in there and kind of pop it off. It's magnetic. Underneath the speaker plate is a USB-C port for charging only, so that you are not limited to using only the GameHub for battery charging or firmware updates.
Just like the Nova Pro Wireless, the Nova Pro Omni uses plastic for its build, with easy-to-reach controls, and the same swappable battery found in other SteelSeries headsets.
As for the comfort, they are very similar to the Nova lineup. The big improvement here is that the pads are larger. The pads are wrapped in vegan leather and are slightly deeper and plushier than those on the Nova Pro Wireless. The headset does feel absolutely incredible when you wear it. These pads are comfortable because they are thicker and very soft. That, the suspension strap, and the lower weight make this headset much easier to wear than other brands.
Also, it uses the same pad-mounting mechanism as the Nova Pro Wireless and the Nova Elite, so you have aftermarket pad options right away if you want to switch to a more breathable one. But note that switching to another pad will reduce active noise cancellation performance to some extent.
Active noise cancellation should be on every gaming headset, especially premium headsets like this, and the Nova Pro Omni uses the same 4-mic hybrid ANC system as the Elite. The ANC in this headset does a great job of filtering out noise from fans, PC fans, keyboards, and other ambient sounds that could reduce the overall audio experience.
Looking at the side of the deck, you also have an ejectable Lithium-ion battery that uses the hot-swap battery system. The battery life is up to 30 hours per charge with 2.4GHz and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) off, or 50 hours with Bluetooth and ANC off, or 19 hours with 2.4G+BT and ANC on, and a 15-minute USB-C fast charge for up to 4 hours of play. By the way, it comes with two batteries, and you can easily buy replacements online.
Final thoughts: I just touched on all of the important aspects of this headset because this review would be way too long. Unfortunately, at $399.99 USD, the Nova Pro Omni remains undeniably expensive and may be out of reach for many users. But the Nova Pro Omni brings value to the headset options without compromising quality or performance and is possibly the more practical choice for many gamers. With the GameHub, active noise cancellation, app, and improved microphone, the SteelSeries Nova Pro Omni is a solid choice.

fantastic headset, dramatic improvement over the arctis nova pro wireless
in my photos, this new arctis nova pro omni is the blue set, and my older arctis nova pro wireless is the white set.
tldr: this is a fantastic headset.
the sound, user experience and software support are all dramatically better than my pro. i've not owned the elite so i can't compare to that. the omni retails for about US$100 more than the pro but $200 less than the elite. i'm told that the main differences to the elite are the plastic vs metal build, and different drivers.
sound - immediately, without tuning the EQ, this was a headset i can use to listen to music. fantastic bass, broad soundstage, crisp highs. it sounded even better (to me) after tuning bass and trebles up little. in contrast, my pro, even with heavy tuning and driving bass all the way, does not compare to the default flat profile of the omni, and its stereo separation was noticeably worse.
ANC - significantly improved over the pro. does a great job eliminating consistent drones, but does not react to transient noises (like people speaking) nearly as well as my sony XM5's
comfort - the new ear cups are bigger and deeper. more comfortable, probably help with the bass response. although i don't love pleather, these were very comfortable to wear for extended periods. they warmed up quickly but did not get unbearably hot.
user experience - finally i can tell if i turned ANC and transparency modes on or off - there's a voice in the headset telling you when modes change. fewer arcane beeps and boops to decipher.
microphone - also improved. the physical microphone is so much easier to pull out, retract and reposition than on the pro. sounds better to my ears as well, though i did tweak the EQ . bright LED tells you if you muted your mic that's visible in the corner of your eye
battery - basically infinite. you have 2 batteries you can swap in and out like the pro, and the headset will automatically reconnect to the last devices. its as good a hotswap system you can come up with - OTHER than the fact you really need to take the headset off, pry off a panel to replace the battery. the batteries are common lithium ion batteries used for a number of cameras, so you can get cheap extras and chargers as well. each battery will last you more than 24hrs of gaming on a 2.4G connection!
connectivity - A++++. you can simultaneously connect bluetooth and 2.4G wireless to the headset. and you can simultaneously connect 4 devices to the hub. the only downside with the ps5 console integration in my opinion is that you have to navigate to system settings if you want to leave the dongle plugged in while driving audio to your HDMI output. its either that, or manually unplug the dongle if you want to play audio on main speakers.
