It’s alright but not worth more than $200

Very uncomfortable there is a big piece of plastic that sticks out in both ear cups. Sound quality isn’t bad it’s highly customizable but not friendly to people who don’t know about gigahertzs and stuff. It’s more for audio junkies who know about this stuff.

Not compatible with xbox

The wireless connection is NOT compatible with the 2 newest xbox's so you must use a wired connection to play. And when it does wirelessly connect to xbox you can't use it for an xbox party?!?! I use my headset while moving around my room so they need to be wireless. My previous headset was 30$ and worked wirelessly with xbox and overall worked better than this until they got stepped on and snapped.

There is also a loud static noise constantly, even when playing. They aren't very comfortable either. These are pathetic and a huge dissapointment for their price (even half off). They definitely aren't worth the price, I wouldn't even pay 50$ for them. I'm buying another turtle beach and returning this piece of trash.

Everyone who marketed these as wireless and compatible with xbox without a clear disclaimer should be in jail for false advertisement.

A 3-Year Honest Review

As a user of this headset for 3 years, this is my genuine review. I am not an audiophile, but I use this headset for gaming, music and work calls. It's quite a pricey headset, so I think people should know what they could potentially get themselves into.

Overview [6/10]:

Physical Build [Headset]: ❤️❤️❤️🩶🩶

Sound Audio: ❤️❤️❤️❤️🩶

Microphone: ❤️❤️❤️🩶🩶

Physical Build [DAC]: ❤️❤️❤️❤️🩶

Wireless/Bluetooth: ❤️❤️❤️🩶🩶

Software: ❤️🩶🩶🩶🩶

**Physical Build:**

I will preface this by saying I've never dropped this headset but I live in a humid country.

The metal part of the headset is extremely sturdy and has never felt like it'd break on me. I've sometimes stretched it out to fix the headband and never felt like it'd snap.

The swivel of the earpads is great and is one of my favorite features physically. The buttons are easy to find on the headset, and it's very easy to figure out controls. Love having the volume controls and the mute button right at my fingertips rather than having to play around with various settings elsewhere.

Within the first 6 months of owning this headset, I had to replace the ear cups and the band.

The band would constantly lose grip where the holes are, and would cause the headset to drop onto my head.

The earcups started to tear, and peel off, so they became uncomfortable to wear.

I replaced both the band and the earcups with WC HeadbandZ Silicone Headband and the WC Freeze Hybrid Fabric Cooling Gel Earpads. This has made a massive improvement in the way I view the headset's physical build. But these are third party parts. (Additionally, my boyfriend also had the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wired and had to also replace his so this was not a unique experience)

In addition to this, you can push the microphone in and bring it back out to use it, but my microphone caught on something inside the headset and physically tore the microphone covering. So I no longer push the microphone inside the headset because it's such a hassle to pull it out, and I also worry it'll break even more.

The mute button has slowly gotten a bit slack. Sometimes it gets stuck and the mic will mute/unmute itself several times until I play with the button.

Occasionally, the headset will completely turn off for a few seconds, then come back on. And there are times when it makes a loud screeching sound and I have to pull the battery to turn it off, then reconnect it.

Battery Life: Is pretty good. I'm at my PC for 15 Hours a day on average and the battery will last me 2 days. I've still got both of the original batteries, and we're going on 3 years now. Still lasting 1.5-2 days on average. No complaints there.

Aside from these things, I don't really have much more to say on the Physical Build Quality.

**Sound Audio & Microphone:**

The sound is pretty good on these, but I always have the volume maxed out to 100%. If I lower it at all, it feels like everything is really low. I used to keep them at around 50% early on, but it's like the audio started getting lower and lower. I've checked if this is a Windows issue or a problem with settings, but haven't had any luck seeing if that could be the case. But at 100%, everything is nice and clear. I don't use the software, so I can't adjust between Call Audio and other Audio. So I do have to make sure everything is adjusted accordingly in various apps. Additionally, this definitely blocks out outside noise. I do not hear anything externally once these are on which is amazing for me.

Microphone, I've never heard any complaints about the microphone. My voice comes out crisp, and it's quite clear when I'm not using the microphone. On Bluetooth, this is different but that's to be expected. Not as clear, but still audible. The feedback from using the microphone could use a bit of work. And the noise cancellation isn't that good. You can still clearly hear all my background noise, typing, fiddling around, if not using additional software to block out background noise.

**Physical Build [DAC]:**

The DAC itself is pretty good. Even the system is decent. It tends to disconnect and shut off from time to time, then boots back up which is pretty annoying mid-calls. Not really much to say about it but I feel like it's faulty. I don't have proof of this, but I feel confident that a lot of the issues I have with my headset is because of the connection issue to the DAC. Also the wireless range, but I'll speak more on that in the Wireless/Bluetooth section.

Of note: You cannot replace the DAC from the manufacturer. You can buy one second-hand, but no other way to replace it.

**Wireless/Bluetooth:**

The Wireless works great aside from the disconnect issues that I mentioned under the previous part. At least once every 2 days it will disconnect at the DAC or the headset itself, and then require rebooting. But this has made me never want to go back to a non-Wireless headset. The range is not as great as advertised. But I'm not sure if that's because we have concrete walls, or because of the DAC itself. Sometimes I'll go into the next room, not even 10 feet, and the headset will disconnect. It's really annoying because I bought these to be able to use them at a distance from my PC. They're advertised for 30 - 50 feet, so I assumed I'd at least be able to hit that 30 feet. But that's not the case.

The bluetooth does a bit better on range, and I assume that's because it's not reliant on the DAC itself. Where the Bluetooth fails for me is in the audio, and the mute button does not work. I've connected to my devices using Bluetooth then I have to mute in the apps, rather than on the headset itself. It shows red like if it's muted, but unfortunately I've learnt the hard way, that does not mean it's muted.

**Software:**

This is the worst part of the experience of these headphones for me. I'm sure you've by now seen plenty of reviews that show that the Software is really not that great. I can attest to this. I've had to completely uninstall the software to even have any functional use of the headset across various applications.

Why? Because it'll change the input/output for everything. Even after I've set it all up to make sure the inputs and outputs are right, after one reset, it's all back to defaults. Then if I install a new software, the "default" for that software never gets accepted. It's a whole other setup. It's just not simple plug and play the way I'd like. So I keep the software uninstalled for my sanity.

==============================

ENDING AND TL;DR:

Overall, this headset is a mixed bag that I'd have a hard time recommending at full price. The sound quality and battery life are genuinely impressive, and once I swapped out the stock earpads and headband for third-party replacements, the comfort improved dramatically. If you're looking for a wireless headset that sounds great and lasts all day, the bones are there.

But for a premium-priced headset, the list of frustrations is hard to ignore... degrading build quality, unreliable wireless range, a DAC that randomly disconnects, and software so problematic I had to uninstall it entirely just to use the headset normally. The fact that you can't even replace the DAC through the manufacturer makes it worse.

If you can find it on a significant sale, and you're willing to invest in third-party accessories and go without the software, it can still be a decent experience. But at full price, I'd encourage you to look at the competition before committing. Three years in, I'm not sure I'd buy it again. I'm definitely looking for a replacement. These are great, just not at the price they're listed at.

Gaming Headset for Audiophiles

I’ve been around audio gear for 20 years, and these are easily the best I've ever owned. They aren't just 'gaming' headphones—they’re legit audiophile quality.

Infinite Battery: The dual-battery hot-swap is genius. One stays in the base station, one in the headset. You literally never have to plug these in.

Sound Quality: Insanely clear and gets plenty loud without distortion. The soundstage is wide and detailed enough for critical listening or high-stakes gaming.

The GameDAC Gen 2 base station is perfect. Tweak EQ or swap from PC to console right from the desk without tabbing out.

If you’re tired of compromising on sound, just buy them. They’re worth every cent

Absolutely worth the money

After using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, I can confidently say the consensus online is spot on—everyone was right. These are genuinely top-tier gaming headphones.

The sound quality is excellent right out of the box: clear footsteps, strong positional audio, clean mids, and punchy but controlled bass. The DAC is a game-changer and makes dialing in EQ profiles incredibly easy. Wireless performance is rock solid with no noticeable latency, and the dual-device setup (gaming + Bluetooth) works flawlessly. Comfort overall is very good, build quality feels premium, and the mic is far better than what you’d expect from a wireless headset.

The only real downside is the ear cups. They’re just a bit shallow, so if you have larger ears, they may lightly touch the drivers. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable during longer sessions. The good news is this is easily solved with aftermarket ear pads, which completely fixes the issue.

All things considered, this headset absolutely lives up to its reputation. Expensive, yes—but if you’re looking for one of the best wireless gaming headsets available, this is it.

Fatal manufacturing flaw causes units to slice off microphone modules. SteelSeries refuses support.

There is a critical defect in the manufacturing of these units. There is one, or more, razor sharp jagged edges inside of the microphone compartments on the headset units rubbing directly against the microphone cable. Why? Nobody knows. What is true is that with these headsets, as manufactured, it becomes a matter of when (not if) the unit will shred its own microphone cable on extension. One morning I picked up my headset and extended the microphone as usual only to see a clean *slice* through the entire cable.

This is a fatal defect in the manufacturing process that damages the product after a consumer has purchased it. Despite this seemingly being a known issue to SteelSeries, support has apparently been instructed to refuse support when it happens in lieu of seeking to profit off of the affected customers. The support individual on the ticket initially offered up a solution but then immediately pivoted to a sales pitch as soon as the cause was described. The Xbox 360 Red Ring fiasco should remind anyone how attempts to profit off of a manufacturing defect have been judged in the legal system.

For a $400 product, telling someone "buy another one" after a manufacturer-created problem destroys the headset is straight unacceptable.

The battery lasts forever and they sound professional

Best headset I’ve ever purchased, with the right audio settings it sounds awesome, there light and they don’t give me headaches these are what I wanted. They also stay charged for so long, mine stay on for over 12 hours, this is my favorite headset

J

JD

Be careful with the battery

The sound quality is great. The comfort of the headphones are great. My only complaint is that the battery should only fit into the charging dock one way. Second day of owning the headphones first time swapping the batteries I screwed up and inserted the battery in backwards. Now it's stuck in there and won't come out. The writing on the battery is too small to make out anything identifiable. Definitely a design flaw they should address in the future.

I think I got ripped off

This was not for sale in the American market!

The day after i paid a fortune for it the price dropped over $100.

I feel so ripped off.

I had always wanted a steel series headset.

If thats you, then trust me and do a hard pass.

They suck

Their ear pads suck.

Their customer service sucks.

And their appellations suck.

They just suck at every aspect.

1 everything is written in Chinese

2 the price dropped a $100 the next day

3 the ear cups allow the speakers to hurt me because it’s too tight.

Its sole redeeming feature is the headband.

That’s it.

There’s nothing other that’s special about it.

Smh seriously trash

You would think spending the extra money you would " get what you paid for " but of course not. The base station doesnt work at all. It keeps going back when i try to connect the headphones1 battery doesn't charge. There are scratches on the base station. The connection doesn't work properly on pc . You can't even sync it to your phone. Utterly useless garbage. I am so heated

maurader

Charging station will not connect to battery

I thought the headphones were pretty nice. Sounded pretty good. Didnt test chat or anything. I opened it up and connected it, went to put battery in the charging dock and it would not hold the battery in. It just keeps on ejecting it. Thought maybe it was the battery so i tried the battery in the headphones, same thing. So needless to say i will be returning, not replacing. I have dug deeper into the reviews here, and clearly this things are overpriced 💩. Guess ill just go back to the standard headsets that have to be replaced yearly because of cheap plastics. Better to loose a 100 than 400.

Very Positive First Impressions

I've only had these for about two days, but I wanted to write up some quick first impressions. The long and short of it is: good headphones with some minor, addressable comfort concerns.

Cons:

- As I just mentioned, the real primary negative to these headphones in my experience was the comfort of wearing them for long periods. Some users have trouble with the protruding bit of ANC housing on the inside of the cups. My ears are fairly flat to my skull, so I didn't notice this issue at all. However, the material the ear cushions are made of, a sort of pleather material, does retain heat like an oven. After an hour or two, my ears were very warm and it got uncomfortable to continue wearing them. Using the headphones while cleaning up around the house was like wearing a sauna suit specifically on my ears. Fortunately, there are aftermarket replacement ear cushions that address both of these issues with larger pads made from more breathable fabric. It's doesn't feel great immediately swapping pieces off of $400 tech, but at least the problem can be solved. I bought a pair from Wicked Cushions and first impressions of those are great, but I've barely had a chance to really test them.

-Magnetic side panels hiding the battery and USB-C port have me concerned about longevity. While I'm glad the side panels aren't held on by cheap plastic clips that would inevitably break, the extremely sleek magnetic panels do feel a bit more form over function. The magnets inside the panels are just strong enough to hold the panels to the headset, and I haven't had them fall off yet, but I am worried about that happening after months or years of removing them to swap the battery.

-The noise cancellation isn't absolute, but it's good enough to minimize white noise like fans or air conditioning. This wasn't really what I came to these headphones for. I am not particularly bothered by room noise. In fact, I do like a certain amount of situational awareness, and total noise cancellation makes me uneasy in the same way blindfolding myself with a VR headset does. This does a good enough job to obfuscate irritating noises like my neighbor's fender rattling bass or the humming fan of my refrigerator without making me feel like a home invader finally has a chance to get the drop on me.

Pros:

-There's a lot I love here. Firstly and most importantly, these sound great. I'm not an audio expert at all, but I am a video production professional and have worked closely with audio engineers and have some idea on the differences between high and low quality sounding headphones and sound systems. These are likely to satisfy anybody but the most demanding audiophiles out there.

-They just work. I'm so sick of buying some expensive piece of tech and having to read a thousand Reddit posts just to figure out how to make the item work with my particular setup. These are about as plug and play as expensive gear gets in 2024. I opened the box, plugged the base station into a USB port, turned on the headphones, set the audio output to the headphones on my PC, and that was all I needed to do to make them work. The base station gets its power via the USB, so you don't even need to plug it into an electrical outlet. There's obviously driver updates and free software that you can download to manually set equalizers and fiddle with settings (which I do think works well and suggest downloading), but all you absolutely need is a PC with a USB port and ears.

-Two batteries with one always charging in the base station. This is ingenious. Seriously, whoever on the SteelSeries team who suggested this, give them a raise, a company car, and a nice corner office with a good view. It's such a simple idea that solves the number one inconvenience with rechargeable gear. As long as you place the spare battery in the base station, you'll always be ready to go.

-Simultaneously connect the headset to your PC or console and a Bluetooth device. I love to play video games and listen to podcasts. With these, I can play a game on PC (or console) and hear that audio on these headphones, while they're also connected to my phone playing a podcast at the same time. One of the primary reasons I have always preferred a nice sound system to nice headphones is that a sound system lets me indulge my broken, millennial attention span. With these headphones, now I can split my attention between multiple stimuli while also shutting out the rest of the world.

-Not gamer aesthetic. This is more of a general shoutout to SteelSeries. Thank you for having options for those of us who don't want to die of embarrassment when we catch our reflection in the monitor. No gaudy, distracting RGB LEDs adorning every surface, no ridiculous cat ears mounted at the top. Just black headphones that go on your head and don't call more attention to themselves than the media they're playing.

-The design is simple and functional. The mic coils inside the headphones when you do not need it. The buttons and nobs are all slightly raised so you can sense from feel what controls you're touching while wearing them. Like I mentioned above, these do not distract from the media they're playing. They're a tool to make your experience more enjoyable and otherwise be as undetectable as possible. It's a design direction that I find deeply appealing because it respects both the media it is playing and its users. Even the SteelSeries logo that is printed on the sides of the headset is barely visible without close inspection. I really cannot stress enough how much I appreciate what SteelSeries does in this regard. I have an old wired pair of headphones from SteelSeries as well, and they've only just been replaced by these.

Skeptic proved wrong!

After trying a couple different recommended headsets this product actually does what it says it does! Definitely recommend. Also having two batteries available it perfect for those non-stop gaming sessions!

They will change your life.

I've been gaming for over 8 years with different headsets, but these here changed my life. It's like hearing for the 1st time. I love them.

Bad battery

Bought this pre owned headset and came with a old/used battery. As you can see in the pic it has corrosion on it and will not charge. Everything else works like it should. The block receiver looked brand new still sealed like it was never used but headset looked used like described

B

Probably the best headset I've ever owned

There were a couple things that drew me in to get this headset.

1) the fact that I can have it hooked up to my computer and xbox at the same time and switch freely between the two

2) the headset uses USB C connections I feel all headsets should make this push just better for connection performance and overall better coding and data transfer.

3) has removable batteries that can be swapped out when the one ur using is going dead. Comes with 2 batteries in the package so great for non stop gaming

When I got this headset I had been hem hawing cause of the price tag but glad I pulled the trigger on this headset best I've ever owned by far.

The battery lasted several days before I had to switch the battery out.when switching it out you twist the metal plate on the ear cup to free the magnets and tip and slides right off seamlessly. Then you can easily take the battery out and switch it with the main control dock pop it in and put the plate back on.

My friends all say it has a great mic and crystal clear reception on there end I can clap on the other side of the mic and it cancels it out. It also does not pick up other chatter/noise in the room which is a huge plus for me

The sound quality I loved when gaming and mixing music with game and party was easily able to find my perfect balance and the music and game play sounded very crisp and clear

Now I had a couple complaints

1) the price tag for sure was a huge problem 350$ retail was a bit steep but like I said worth every penny when finally using it

2) understanding how to control your settings. This was a lil hurdle cause so many options to mess with the mic but very intuitive after trying it a few times

3)when connected to discord on pc it made weird coding issue noises a couple times when I using to my party mates but figured out the issue and been a charm since

Marcus

Mute button going bananas

Any slight inconvenience and the mute button is going crazy as well as bluetooth not functioning as it should. I submitted this for a RMA in January after being unable to contact the 3rd party ARF for months. This issue started 35 days within having the product. I went through back n forth doing everything I can as a consumer.before finally being told they will RMA it. Video proof and troubleshooting steps done multiple times. $300+ paperweight. Should have bought direct from steelseries smh

So comfortable

Being an online gamer for over fifteen years i've been through several headsets. I have to say that these Steel Series pros are some of the most comfortable i've ever worn. I've used all of them Corsair, Turtle Beach, Bose Razer. And for as much as the Steel Series, do not match up in sound quality to the Bose. I have to say they are one of the best sound quality I've ever seen. They are a little on the expensive side, However, when considering, i'm wearing them for 7 or 8 hours a day worth every cent. The noise-canceling works fantastically and the AI mic background noise reduction is also great. People hear me speak and not everything else that's going on around me.

Steel series support is terrible

Had the headphones since April and honestly I love them. Best headphones that I owned and don’t really have any complaints. The reason I bought the headphones was because it came with 2 batteries. 1 of the batteries stopped working. Battery is in perfect condition, no scratches, dents, battery expansion, drops or water damage. Tried ordering replacement batteries, happily to pay for it myself, from steel series website but it’s been out of stock for months. They contacted the company about 2 weeks ago and still heard nothing back. I contacted steel series support myself, same day, and still no answer back. It’s sad that I have to make this review just to get support.

The best gaming headset on the market right now!

If you want the best of the best, with active noise cancellation, omni directional noise detection, comfort, and HI-FI sound. This is your only option! Amazing headphones and the fact that they're wireless is the cherry on top. The extra battery that they provide is fantastic because as soon as your headset is dying, simply swap that battery out and you're ready to keep on gaming!

Jayden

Very nice, and comfortable headset.

I love the dual Bluetooth and wireless connectivity, and its game DAC. The active noise cancellation isn't as good the like the airpods but its decent enough to block out the fan noise in the background. In all i'ts a very nice, and comfortable headset.

One Headset To Rule Them All!

I was looking for a great headset to use on my PS5 and XSX since both of my headset were on the way out. I came across the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox since it can be used with both at the same time. Things just got better from there. Active Noise Canceling for when things get loud around you. Two hot swappable batteries with a charger in the DAC for the extra battery. Bluetooth (something that was a must for me) so you can take calls, listen to music or use the Discord app from your phone all while still having the game audio! I also picked up a pair of Wicked Cushions ear pads for some extra comfort and to add a personal touch that kinda matches my matching PS5 and XSX Scuf controllers. For my use case, this headset is the best! Would recommend it to anyone with a similar use case.

Rey L. Tech dude

Great product but…

Eat cups are too shallow there is a noice cancelling bump that will rub against your ear. Had to buy after market ear cups. Also there’s a good reason the battery is hot swapable. Because it doesn’t last long. I swear I use these for work and I go through battery’s like tic tacs. S

Stay aware of this headset

Let's start with the product review itself and then with my personal experience,

- First of all, the Noise Cancellation feature is nice, it makes you feel you are in a spaceship and you can enable/disable it from the console or the headset.

- The packaging is outstanding, at least, you are paying for it since it is a product over 300USD.

- The software allows you to configure for pretty much any game which is excellent, for example, in FPS you can adjust the bass to hear the steps.

- Battery system is just great, you don't need to think about charging or stopping using the headset because it ran out of battery.

Let's start with the main issues/problems that I have found.

- Price: Keep in mind the price is more than 300USD, which is a value that duplicates the current value for any good quality headset in the market like HyperX, Corsair, Logitech, but if you want to pay for them (like me) you would expect quality and comfort, sadly, I was not able to find those 2 features in the headset.

- Quality: I can't say the quality is bad, nevertheless, the headset has a MAJOR problem that can't justify the quality being good at all, when I am playing the headset just deconfigure and change the headset configuration in windows which causes it to stop hearing anything, the only solution that I have found has been turning off and turning on again or going to the Sonar software and pick the headset from the device list which is a big problem because if you play online games if you are in the middle of a round, you are lost.

Note: using cable didn't fix this problem, it is a driver issue.

- Comfort: when you have the headset in your hand you can feel they are premium, (again, you are paying for that) but the main problem is when you wear it the headset put a lot of pressure on your head which is a problem for big head people like me. Even if you release the tightened system a little bit it doesn't solve the problem and another MAJOR issue that is not acceptable is there is a piece in the ear cup which I think is being used for ANC (I don't know exactly) but the main problem is that small piece of hell since you have a lot of pressure in your head, that piece bothers you in your ear causing red ear and pain at the end of a long session of using the headset, that's something that I have never felt even in 20 USD headset in the past, it is just unacceptable how uncomfy they are. (check the images to have a better reference)

- RMA and support: Of course, once I bought the headset and I registered in the Steel Series platform and downloaded the software which is very helpful, but once I reported all these issues, especially the #2 because you can tolerate the uncomfy thing but I can't accept the problem with the audio that is broken when playing, and the answer that I received was, we can't ship to your country...

331.83 USD to the trash.

Glad I had another hyperx headset that I use for my consoles that now I have to use for my PC because

this headset is pure trash.

Conclusion:

Buy them only if you can find them for less than 200 USD, this is just overpriced.

Buy them only in you live in the USA, so in case you need an RMA at least they can respond to your product.

Buy them only if you have a small head.

In all other cases, please don't include this product in your cart, go for other better options. You can find gaming headsets for half the money you pay for this one or even better sound quality,

Samuel

The most convenient yet stylish headset for those gaming and working from home

Hi all (READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY),

Below is my one-week review with the product. I will edit it after a 3 month period.

To start, I have lots of experience with headphones. I have had Beats Studios, Airpods Max, Turtle Beachs, Bose 700s, multiple Razer headsets, and even other Steelseries products like the Arctis 6. None of these compare to these for a few reasons I will go into below. I use headphones for gaming but also I work from home as a software engineer, so I am on the computer a LOT and in lots of zoom meetings.

!!! Disclaimer !!!: These are the "Xbox" version of these. That means, on your multi-system adapter/DAC, one cord can go into a PC/PlayStation and one can go into an Xbox. **If you plan to use this for a PC and PlayStation, please go buy the non-Xbox version. That said, if you plan to ever use this with an Xbox, you will need this version. You CAN use the Xbox slot for a PC, but it will show up as an "Xbox Controller" and will have more limited functionality.

Okay, back to the reasons.

1. Ease of use. I opened these up, plugged the multi-system DAC into my PC, turned on the headset and was ready to go. I had a few onboarding steps: Download Steelseries GG, update drivers, restart device (a few times?), but since then they have works FLAWLESSLY.

2. Wireless. These aren't just your typical wireless. I have had no connection issues. I can walk to the other side of the house, as long as I don't have too many walls between me and my computer these things still work, even then there was just some static. The quality is great as well.

3. Battery. This is HUGE. There is a battery in the headset that you can remove and swap with the one CHARGING IN THE DAC. Yes, you heard me, just swap the battery when you need and boom, full charge. You'll never need the direct connection outside of updates to the firmware. This really is fantastic and easy to use.

4. Microphone. I don't personally use the microphone, but the quality compared to most other headset mics I have used it up there. Some have asked me if you can use the mic while it is in the headset still. I'd say yes, but it will be lower volume and less clear, but I tested it and it would still work (and frankly was still better than like HyperX headset microphones that I've had.

5. Connection. I have only used the DAC connection which is really really good as I said in the wireless review. That said, I will be trying to Bluetooth to test that seamlessness they inspire there. I would LOVE if I could get phone notifications while also gaming or in work calls without interrupting those I'm talking to our my gaming experience too much (while of course also me still being alerted).

6. Look. These look great. They look professional enough that I can wear them on work calls. I would maybe thing twice if it was a client meeting, but other than that, I'd feel comfortable in these all day.

7. Comfort. This is only a one-week review, but I will say they are quite comfortable. The airpods max and arctis 6 are notable uncomfortable to me, the first being too heavy and the second putting too much pressure on parts of my head that I get a headache. That said, no problem with these so far. I like the ear cups actually, they're soft and feel premium (as they should for this price point). I know I've seen people complain online, but I've had no issues with these. If I do, you'll see an update right below here.

Overall: Great connectivity and ease of use while looking nice enough for me to not be embarrassed because they're "gaming" all while being comfortable with good audio. This is a very high price point. If you really are a gamer and want a very intuitive product while avoiding crazy RGBs and your headsets looking too "gaming", and you can afford these, then absolutely.

That said, this is not just money you're spending on this headset but it's money you could put elsewhere. Audio is important, but you could get a perfectly good headset for less and still not miss out on the gaming experience. These are absolutely a 'premium' product and thus the price point might not really align perfectly. That said, these are my favorite headphones to-date and I am very happy with my purchase, so you might be too.

Hurts ears after 15min of use

I wanted to like these headphones, but there is a hard object that juts out in the center of each earpiece that pushes against my ear and hurts after only 15min of use. I've tried adjusting the position of the cups around my ears, but that middle piece always presses against my ear.

Noise cancellation was adequate, but nothing to celebrate.

Sound quality was just fine.

Ultimately, I chose to return these.

Best Headphone that I've ever owned.

Excellent quality, good noise cancelling, very comfortables and not heavy, long battery with replacement. I use them for my job and gaming. Good Mic. I little bit expensive but they worth it.

Great for Gaming and Work

While some might be a bit skeptical about spending over $300 on a "gaming" headset, I say that with all the features that its packed with justifies this purchase. I use these on a daily basis both for home/gaming use and at work for Team meetings. The sound quality of these headphones are very good, and with its DAC, allow you to make EQ adjustments to make it sound how you want it to be. Battery life is another of one its perks from use, I'm able to get around 2-3 days on just a single charged with some changes done to its auto-off setting. Being able to connect to both a PC via 2.4GHz and to a phone over bluetooth is also a nice touch. The only downsides to this headset that I have found was the leatherette earcups making my ears sweat quite a bit, and the ANC mics within the earcup that can end up being an annoyance to some with wider ears.

Misanthrope

has this item incorrectly listed. Needs to be taken down until fixed.

I ordered the nova pro wireless for Xbox. Received it the next day. After setting it up I noticed it wasn't working with the Xbox series X. Contacted support for return explained they sent the incorrect model. A report was made on the listing, I was told the item was incorrectly picked. I was asked to return the item to Kohl's and a new headset would be sent out, (I was guaranteed I'd get the correct product). Well, two days later (today) I received the replacement. The replacement is not the correct model that is listed on the website. Buy this anywhere else, just not here you'll regret it. Make sure they don't send a label expecting the customer to pay for shipping or a schedule a ups pickup.
