Did Not Work as a Mouse Supplement

I thought this would be a good replacement for my mouse for going through training slides at work and maybe scrolling through web pages. However, it did not work well for those applications. It was cumbersome, and it really didn't work for me. It gave me no enjoyment to use it. The mouse was so much better. I can’t recommend this product. Another reviewer mentioned “flashcards,” so maybe this has a particular application that it excels.

Other than not being a product I would use. It does look good. It has a nice charging case, and it comes with a USB-C cable. So, its finish quality is good. It is good size to take with you. It is not priced too high at the time of this review, so if you use "Flashcards" maybe it is a good choice.

Laggy

When it works, it’s great. First the finger well and feels natural to use. Problem is that after about 15 minutes of using it, it starts to lag. I have to press the button several times to get the card to flip. That turns it from a time saver into a hassle.

Cracked after 2 weeks

Love that it comes pre-programmed and worked super well at first. Had connection issues starting first week where buttons just stopped responding. Not often an issue, but annoying when it does happen.

But now super bummed bc there’s already a crack in the face after only 2 weeks

Want to love it but….

IOS only

The Stouchi remote works well for Anki. To my preference, the numbers 1 and 2 would be lower, as they are the ones I use the most. Device has a small delay with input.

I was able to pair the device easily to my IOS devices, but no luck with my computer (Lenovo ThinkBook) - my computer is not compatible with all remotes for Anki that I have bought yet, I have been using a USB/Wireless number keypad as a remote for now.

I would say that the ring does not hold its charge for long. If I use it one night, it will definitely need plug in charging the next day.

Overall good product for IOS users.

Works well and easy to use…

I’ve been using this Anki remote for a while now, and it’s made studying much more comfortable. Being able to review cards without staying at my keyboard is a huge plus, especially during long study sessions.

The Bluetooth pairing was quick, and it reconnects automatically without any issues.

The battery life is excellent, and the charging case gives plenty of extra power, so I rarely have to think about recharging.

The ring is lightweight and comfortable to wear for extended periods.

The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes a little time to get used to the button layout, and switching between devices requires repairing.

Once you’re familiar with it, though, it works reliably and makes studying much more convenient.

Overall, it’s a worthwhile accessory.

Great for Anki!

I really appreciate how much this little remote speeds up working inside Anki and going from slide to slide. Using this is so much more efficient that being forced to keep my fingers on my keyboard in an uncomfortable position while memorizing different cards for projects I am working on. When this arrived it was very easy to set up and put to use. One thing to note is that I think one of the cards that was in the box was supposed to go with a Stouchi TikTok ring instead of this Anki ring. At first that made me think that this ring could also be used to scroll TikTok because the card tells you to read the manual and has a QR code that goes to a video showing how to use the ring with TikTok. This ring does not work with TikTok but they do make a ring for that too if that is what you want!

I like the look and feel of this ring in my hand and it's a breeze to navigate Anki using the 4 buttons on the Anki ring. For the listed price this is heaven sent and allows me to relax while intaking so much information!

Ring will snap

I really liked using this for doing my anki. I liked how it was automatically connected to the anki button options. I received the ring in April and have been using it since. I recently was using it and the ring ended up snapping while I was using it.

Snapped

A Proper Review for Med Students

I typically don't write reviews, but the Vine reviews were so stupid that I felt a need to step in for future buyers. Here's what you need to know before buying:

There's 4 tiny buttons with ONLY 6 functions (that you cannot change):

* Button 1 = "1", Button 2 = "2", Button O = "Space", Button 4 = "4"

* Hold Button 2 to Pair

* Double-Click Button 1 = "Ctrl+Z"

(You need to pair and unpair when switching devices. Yes, it sucks, but it only takes like 3 seconds to do).

That's it. It doesn't do anything else. There isn't much else to say about functionality other than it doesn't lag and the buttons obviously work like buttons.

Note that despite what they advertise, you may need to remap the keys or the play with the settings.

- Samsung Galaxy users will need to unbind Ctrl+Z from the home shortcut

- Mac users need to enable Spacebar (or enter) also answers card.

[Build Quality]

It's cheaply made. Think Walmart electronics but even cheaper.

- The buttons have some serious play with them and wiggles badly. It also rattles like crazy with any vibration.

- The charging case is extremely thin and noticeably hollow. If it drops, you're going to have a new hole in your case.

[Dealbreaker]

The ring is one size fit all. In other words, it fits FAT fingers ONLY. If you have small or normal sized fingers, you'll need to improvise.

[Summary]

Is it worth $30? No, lol. However, the market sucks right now and options are limited. If you want a Anki Ring without any bells or whistles, this is it.

Great Results Come From Great Products

I’ve been using this product for a while and honestly, I didn’t expect it to make a huge difference. It has helped me speed through my flashcards. It has also helped me stay focused since get distracted easily. It somewhat acts like a fidget for me.

As for the product, the buttons are awkward at first but easy to pick up on it and use. It’s small and lightweight so it’s easy to carry around. I study throughout the day and battery life is good.

My only complain is that I wish you could pair it to multiple devices instead of having to unpair from the original device and pair it to the new. Other than that, I think this is a great product for flashcards, especially Anki.

Small and functional

Really easy to use, it doesn’t disconect by itself… so, you don’t have to sync everytime.

Great for Long Study Hours Without Wrist Pain

I spend hours reviewing digital flashcards every day, and this ring really helps my wrists. I used to get sore from all the repetitive clicking, but now I can just tap lightly while lying on the couch. The connection is smooth and instant, and I haven’t had to mess with any settings. It stays charged way longer than I expected, and I can toss the small case into my backpack without worrying about it turning on by accident.

Studying Feels Way Easier Now

This little ring has changed how I go through flashcards. It pairs up instantly with my laptop, and I can tap through my Anki deck while pacing around my room. I don’t have to keep reaching for the keyboard, which actually makes me study longer without even noticing it. It feels pretty natural, like I’m just thinking and flipping cards with my mind. The battery’s been holding up great so far too.

Perfect for Study Break Walks

I like pacing when I study, and this ring fits that habit perfectly. I can move around, keep my rhythm, and still control my flashcards. No need for a keyboard, no weird software setups. Pair it once and it’s ready every time. The ring feels light, and I forget I’m wearing it after a few minutes. I really enjoy the freedom it gives — no sitting hunched over, no constant trackpad tapping. The case is small, simple, and charges fast. It’s one of those study tools that quietly makes your routine smoother without you realizing it.

Works great, but not as useful to me as keyboard/phone screen

I'm 72 years old, and like using Anki to be my mind busy as well as learn new things. I'm a big history and geography buff, so testing myself with Anki is fun and educational. Plus, I can challenge myself on topics I don't know anything about, such as art. I use it on my desktop Mac as well as my iPhone.

The Stouchi Remote for Anki works great right out of the box. Just pair it with your devise and use it to a navigate the Anki interface. The battery lasts as long as I want to sit through a session, and the case recharges the remote. That's a lot of studying before needing to recharge.

The only technical negative that I found is that the Stouchi remote for Anki is that it can only pair with one devise at a time. So if I want to use it with my desktop after studying on my phone, re-pairing is required.

So with that glowing review, why only three stars? I've been using Anki for a couple of years, and have been using the Stouchi remote for a week. I've used the remote somewhere around 6-8 hours over that time. To *me*, using the mouse on the desktop version or the phone screen on the mobile version is more intuitive and easier than using the Stouchi Remote. At first, I was really slow, having to get used to which button does what. Then it took a while for muscle memory to develop to not have to think about where to move my thumb. This took maybe an hour or less. After that, it was easy. But I still find the mouse or phone screen works better for *me*, and don't see the need to purchase the remote.

For someone used to texting on their phone a lot, or someone who doesn't use a desktop computer and mouse, I can see where it might be handy. Maybe it's an age thing. I don't know anyone else who uses Anki to let them try it to get another opinion.

In summary, this devise does exactly what it is advertised to do, and seems well built and should last as long as the battery continues to be chargeable, and might be perfect for someone else. But this isn't something that I would use instead of a mouse or phone screen, so isn't a useful product for me.

No longer useful

Unfortunately this is an older model and there is no manual or instructions for its use. The QR code directs you to their website where the model is not shown. I searched the internet and nothing. I have an apple and an android and could not use it
