Sunnydaze Quilted Double Hammock with Pillow

Unprofessional and unfinished stitching, cheap

I had another colorway of this hammock before and loved it, but it was old and needed replacing. Went for the fall colors this time and the quality is absolutely terrible. I am a beginner sewist and can make better quality stitches than this. The pillow was unfinished/uncut with a handfull of strings hanging from it (literally a handfull and knotted all together) and the hammock is a lot cheaper feeling than my first one. For the price this is unacceptable

Not high quality

Not a high quality hammock. The material is like a child’s sleeping bag and the pillow is basically a sham no stuffing. The ropes aren’t coated in anything waterproof, it’s like craft yarn. This is not a 2 person hammock and it will not support 400 lbs. Didn’t even finish hooking it up before deciding it’s cheap and going back. By the way there’s no caribeaner clips so unless you’re replacing a hammock (I was attempting to) it doesn’t come with all the hardware necessary

Not a quality product

I would not recommend this hammock for purchase. The colors faded. The blue color in the hammock has now turned purple. It looks awful. The material is also very slick making it hard to get into the hammock. I wish it could be returned.

Sun turns this pink. Do not buy unless you like Pink.

Broke on the first day of use.👎

My hammock broke on the first day it was put up. I sat in it once for about 30 minutes and then later in the evening my daughter and I were in it for about 10 minutes and the chain snapped. It has a 450 pound weight limit and the 2 of us combined was 310 lbs so we were well under the limit. We ended up being dropped on the hard concrete below. Not fun. So all total it lasted for 40 minutes of use on it's first day up.

Warranty

Got end of April got on today and noticed ropes were unraveling. What was your warranty on this? I kept out of weather when not using.

Not durable - rips after a season of light use

Has only lasted 2 summers with careful modest use. Ripping at the seams first time bringing it out for the season. Has been stored indoors when not in use.

Nice product with a few minor suggestions

Overall, I am pleased with the purchase of my hammock. The quality is very good and it will be used a lot this summer. There was one minor issue - the button holes for the pillow are not large enough to accommodate the buttons - I used a knife to enlarge the button holes, and now the buttons work fine - if the buttons were load bearing, I most likely would have returned the hammock, but since they are not, my hack will work. Additionally, the chains are a little shorter than my hammock stand, so I needed to purchase a couple of S chain adaptors so that I could connect to my existing chains - again, no big deal, but recommend adding a S link to the box. I look forward to endless hours laying on the hammock with my wife.

It’s very comfortable I love the look

Its very nice could have used better instructions on how far and tall to mount the Poles since it didnt come with a stand.

It’s very light how do you keep the wind from flipping it a million times when I’m not on it prob going to break just from being hung up.

The strings are coming untied already they should have been singed or glued together in my opinion.

Ripping after 2 days of use

I’m disappointed in this product. It’s almost $100 (you have to buy the stand separate) and started ripping on the second day of being used. I bought this as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom and she sent me a pic 2 days after using it showing the ripping around the circular rings. My mom is a pretty petite woman so she does not exceed the weight limit. Frustrating for the price I paid :/

Nice, but flawed.

Very nice and roomy. 4 stars as it came with two rust spots on the material. Right in the middle. Good other than that.

AMAZING hammock with beautiful details!

I am in love with this hammock! It is super easy to set up in walks right into place. You can also usually adjust it to make it higher. The material is pretty good, but I wouldn’t leave it out in the rain. I think that it has a great value for your money money considering the price of other hammocks. It is very light, but it holds a great amount of weight. Another detail that I love is that you can button the pillow to the hammock so that it doesn’t fall off. Overall, it is great quality and a beautiful hammock.😊❤️

Completely tore after 4 months

It was great for the 4 months it was up until it completely tore with a 40lb child and 170 lb adult on it.

Colorful Well-made Hammock

I love the bright colors of this hammock. It has a nice pillow that is attached with sturdy buttons. The material is holding up nicely in the rain and the sunshine. It has side straps to secure it to the base. I am loving it.

Not super durable!

This hammock did not last long, I only have had it two seasons. I live in Vermont so our summer season is short. (4 months) The hammock goes inside for the winter. It is out for summer. It faded after one season, and here on the second season is got many rips and then completely tore off. I wouldn’t recommend buying this unless you want to keep repurchase it often

Nice and comfortable, reasonable price, quick shipping time

seems like a good value, very comforable, love the little extra pillow for the head rest! The photo is actually the bottom (the wind spun it around just as I took the photo lol) butwife and daughter says its very nice!

Good for the price but expect only a couple summers use

Nice hammock for the price but don't expect the hammock to last more than a few summers. We bought ours in summer of 23 and brought it in for the winter, did the same last summer, brought it out yesterday and after one day out there were two stress rips on either side of the hammock by the ropes in the middle. Probably doesn't help that there was a teenager using it like a swing and not like a hammock, so I guess I can't totally blame the hammock or the manufacturer. Until that point it was pristine. The fabric doesn't fade terribly and the ropes holding the hammock have done quite well. So if you use it as you should you might expect a longer life out of the product.

good hammock for Anymaka stand

Good hammock. The wood stretcher bars do not look like they'll break - more sturdy than a previous reviewer's photos. Good value for the money. This works well in my Anymaka portable hammock stand.

Ripped within 60 days

I have owned a lot of hammocks & enjoy them very much. Loved the color of this one and was very comfortable. However, I have only had it since the beginning of May and today 7/1/24 it ripped while I was just laying on it. I weigh 180 lbs, so should more than hold me without any issues. I'm the only one who lays on it and don't jump around on it. I get in and out very easily. So for this to rip within just 60 days of having it is terrible. I have never had a hammock do this to me.

Soft comfortable hammock

High quality, soft quilted comfortable hammock made with durable materials. Pillow attaches with buttons so will not fall off or get lost, but easy to remove of you do not wish to use it. Only thing I would add is buttons on the reverse side in order for the hammock could be used as solid blue or stripped.

Shoddy stitching

I tried buttoning the pillow on but ended up breaking the button. After putting on my reading glasses I realized the button hole was too small!

Otherwise colors are bright and it is attractive. I hope my wife likes it even with the broken button.

Flippin' Awesome, super slick.

The video illustrates what appears to be a hammock stand failure. This hammock is high quality and very soft. However it's also VERY SLIPPERY and hard to get in and out of. I WILL NOT leave this beautiful liability in my yard for guests to use, it's for advanced hammocking enthusiasts only!

Product needs a small improvement

In general it is a nice hammock. But here are the issues I found:

(1) the way the strings are tied, the center six strings carry the load, while the remaining strings on the left and right are lose. That makes the hammock inconvenient. You need to spend the time to loosen the center and /or tighten the edges. This should come adjusted from the factory.

2) as a result, the stress on the center string support is excessive and the fabric started tearing. I only had it since June 16, so barely 3 weeks (and it is not even used every single day).

Other than that I would have given it 5-stars.

Nice when new but not durable

I found this hammock comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the pillow is soft but I think it is enough for its use. However I am afraid it is not going to be very durable. The holes for the cords are starting to show signs of distress after just a few weeks (see picture), and getting on and off it results in not so reassuring sounds of fabric tearing ... Also I am not sure what UV resistant treatment they supposedly benefit from, but most of the color is gone (expect under the pillow, see picture). I will look somewhere else when it fails.

Serious quality issues

In less than 3 months with fewer than 20 uses the fabric has started ripping near the center grommets on both ends. We have never came close to the 450lb capacity as listed on the product description. I would consider this product and this seller a bust.

Bear tested, mother approved

Apparently is supports the full weight of a mama bear. Suffered muddy paw prints and a couple tears in the fabric when she fell off. But overall quite impressed with the hammocks durability.

Beautiful Vibrant Color

Over all the product is great for the price. 1st time buying a hammock online & 1st cloth one too. Did a lot of searching & review reading. The cloth, color, design & size were great. Little disappointed in the pillow stuffing (looks like they ran out) and some of the rope (looks more like yarn) was frayed and ends already unraveling. Put a little extra work into it, by heating/melting rope ends better, and adding heat shrink for best result. Happen to have lots of Dacron so un-hemmed the end seam and added my own. Can't speak to durability, just put into service. But the design, color and stitching look wonderful & it is very comfortable. Might consider putting a scotch-guard on it, we'll see. Overall, happy with it, at this price point.
