Title: Arrived damaged—cracked frame right out of the box!
I was looking forward to using this LED light, but as soon as I opened the package, I noticed a visible crack along the outer rim/bezel of the casing.
The build quality control is completely non-existent. A crack like this compromises the structural integrity and completely ruins any hope of weather resistance or protection against moisture and dust getting inside the unit. It looks like cheap, brittle plastic that broke before it even reached my hands.
Extremely disappointed with this purchase. Save yourself the hassle of having to process a return and look for a reliable alternative instead. Absolutely do not buy!

My next light set up will be a strobe, but I’ll always keep these in my Dive bag
I gave them five stars, just for the price, I’ve used other lights that are better, but I needed something and short-term, they last a long time, I would rate them higher if the distance they would broadcast would be further, 5+ feet , but they work well,

Leaks and no longer works
I bought 2. One leaked and no longer works after 10 dives. No dives were deeper than 100 feet.
Save your money. Don't buy
I did actually buy the insurance because I saw many people had the same issue.

good value!
worked well for video and stills. easy maintenance, lightweight, gave my housing just a tad of positive buoyancy. Could be a little brighter, but for that price, very cost effective. Great shots on a night dive!

Beware of cheap build for the mount
Light provides ok light underwater. Hard to tell if sufficient for diving due to water clarity and lack of macro lens for GoPro.
Lower rating due to the cheap design for the cold shoe adapter. After 5 dives it broke off after flipping into the water holding my camera rig against my body. I’m no pro photographer, but slightly bummed when not having a light to capture images. Thankfully my captain found the light floating.
Buy a metal cold shoe adapter like one from Hsu. Suptig has horrible customer service. They won’t reply to my messages. Will update ranking if they replace. Ultimately I would look for slightly brighter for filming. Was using an Orca dive torch, which is too bright for photos, but great for just looking.

Horrible light! Do your research! Better lights out there.
The brightness on the light is excellent, and overall seemed like a decent dive light, but come to find out that wasn’t the case. It doesn’t keep charge, stopped working after a week completely. Also when it was working the on/off button was a pain to use ever time, and sometimes it wouldn’t even work. I highly recommend you do not buy this product. Cheaply made. But what can you expect from a $35 light.

Big bright easy to use
3 brightness levels and 1 flashing mode. There is a mount at the bottom and comes with an attachment for a camera hotshoe or traditional tripods. The mount at the top is also good for the actual GoPro unlike other lights that need a camera housing. Haven't tried it underwater yet. Feels pretty sturdy.

it leaked after 3 time dives.
This is my 2nd purchased. Unfortunately both lights didn't survive very well after few times dive. This 2nd purchase is even worse. I only went 12meter dive for a night dive last night and about 20 minutes the light started acting up the light kept turning off by itself bit the indicator light still on but I could not even turning it off. so I left it until turned off by itself. I like this light because it's so handy, I wish it has waterproof housing because I don't think this light is a waterproof. Needs to return it.

This little light o’mine…
For the price and speed of delivery, the quality of light is amazing. It is bright…I will have to diffuse the light with a napkin in some instances…but it’s a compliment. I only wish it was made of a heavier or stronger grade of plastic.

Great for underwater lighing when available light is low.
Not the brightest lights available, but at this price, the lights are very worthwhile. I have use them at depths up to 50' where available light is lost. Colors are enhanced and focus improved. Paired with GoPros, these are a wonderful addition. Based on performance of the first one I purchased, I added a second one to the dive bag!

If you’re close enough for it to illuminate- the spread isn’t quite enough
As with any underwater light- none are really bright enough. If you have clear water- and sunshine above- you’re probably better off going without a light in the 30-60ft range. The light functioned fine for the few dives that I took it on. And- I would often forget to remove my red filter when i was using the light. So- here are two images where you can clearly see the spread of the illumination from about 2-3ft, and the associated red color difference from my GoPRo’s red filter. It’s possible that I had the light tilted in a bit- so, perhaps the back of that beautiful trigger fish (or is that a file fish?) could have been better illuminated. The light will reach a few feet. Anything beyond that- and it’s not useful for daytime photos. Anyway- it didn’t leak on me (yet) and was otherwise easy to use and mount. It’’s quite a bit larger than a GoPro itself- so, you’ll notice the additional drag. I used it to look around under shelves and in caves- but my handheld dive light was much more useful. Overall- probably a wasted purchase for me. Maybe useful for macro.

Great light for the value
I took this on my night dive in Hawaii with the giant manta rays. It was a good light for the videos I took. It provides about 10 ft of good lighting. It obviously couldn't be used as a dive light. Great buy!

Waterproof but weak for shooting video even in shallows
It seems quite misleading the the actual lumen rating is not provided. I would really like to know the actual output of this light in Lumen so I can buy a more effective one. The performs as described and works under water but the lighting was hardly better than using my gopro without a light at 10' below the waterline.
The light seems weak and not suitable for shooting quality video.
I also notice the seller dodged questions regarding the lumen rating.

Very bright and intuitive dive light!
This dive light is very easy to use. We did not have any problems with water intrusion during our dives. I appreciated the different light brightness settings, the ability to recharge the light, and the GoPro and cold-shoe mounting options.
We even used the light on a very dark night in the Maldives to illuminate the ocean underneath our villa. Hopefully the photos demonstrate just how bright this light is.

Very happy with the light
A continuous fill light is a game-changer for underwater photography. This cheap little thing did more to improve the quality of my pictures than anything else. I've attached a couple of pictures from a from a recent dive in Bonaire lit by this product and I am very happy with the result. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it would sometimes start blinking - no big deal though, just turned it off and back on. The battery lasts a long time too. For the price, this is an incredible bargain.

This is a good F***ing light!
Survived 110ft (almost passed my MOD)
I would recommend a rig that has a "cold seat" mount
I found a good Aluminum mount on here, make sure you rinse it after a saltwater dive or the salt will eat the aluminum lol
The rig is small form factor, you can find it on here. Both the rig and light are small enough to fit into BC pocket and you can assemble when you get down.

DID NOT LEAK OR FAIL IN 6 DAY / 19 DIVES !!!!
OK folks here it is... I read all reviews had big concerns about leaks, failure, ease of removing / replacing screw plug for charging port in a $39 undewater light. ALL AREAS EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS during and after 19 dives in 6 days (charging 1 - 2 times daily) max depth 120ft, avg 60-80ft.
Lights worked good at close range in Caribbean clear water of Roatan Honduras... 3-4ft maximum distance! Used with GoPro to fill in natural lite. During night Dive, lights (2) light up an area 30x30ft with no hot spots. Best used for close movie/photo work to 4ft away.
Replacing screw plug/seal to charging port tricky but can be mastered with several attempts. You must get smooth fit of seal without bulges for waterproof seal.
Full recharge of light takes several hours, however found on "High" setting you get about 2.5hr full light usage, so plan you filming accordingly.
No leakes, no fails. Got good value for $$s. Just remember, you can't have too much light with underwater pictures even in clearest waters.
EXCELLANT STARTER LIGHTS.

They're Bright!
They work well with my rigged GoPro handle and really help with underwater pictures.
Charging is a big kludgy - you have to unscrew a cover to charge them, but I can't think of a better way to seal them while being depth rated.
Bonus points for they REALLY come in handy when the power goes off at night! :-D

Works every time
I bought this light to use with my GoPro for scuba diving. I have had it to 104' 3 different times with no leaks or sticking switch. It has been to 95' no less than 5 times. And I have taken it to 75 feet at least 10 times. I have not had a minutes trouble with this light. This coming weekend it will probably flood and the button stick since I gave such a good review, but seriously, I have been extremely impressed. I use it in low viz with great results. It is a good fill light. When it is much over 10-15' at depth I loose video quality. Down to 30' and under 15' away it makes it look like daylight. The image of my computer is 104'. The Gorilla was at 95' and about 10' away.

Good Illumination, but Will Leak Sooner or Later
These are nice bright lights, but they also need to be considered as disposable items – for two reasons:
1. The battery is non-replaceable. It is a 2600 mAh 18650 cell that is soldered in place and inaccessible unless the entire unit is disassembled.
2. The on-off switch WILL LEAK. 100% certainty. Just a matter of time. It is a single O-ring seal on an exceedingly small diameter shaft connected to the on/off push-button. It, too, is inaccessible and non-maintainable.
I mostly use this on my underwater DSLR as a focus light. Sometimes I use it for stand-alone illumination, sometimes in combination with a strobe. It provides a wide-angle soft light that doesn’t produce a hot-spot in the image. Most of my images are fairly near, only about 3 feet away or closer.
My Suptig light worked fine for a while, and I only use it for underwater inspections in fairly shallow water. It failed at 18 feet underwater because of a water leak into the housing. I disassembled the unit to verify that the cause was, in fact, the on/off switch O-ring seal. See pictures.
The electronics and LEDs still worked after I dried them, probably because I was diving in fresh water, but there is no point in reassembling the unit since the O-ring switch seal is no longer viable nor repairable.
Other than the switch seal, these are nicely made units with good components. Improving the switch seal would be a desirable modification. Being able to also change the battery quickly would be even better.
I will probably buy another one, but as mentioned above, it will be considered as a consumable item for billing purposes. They simply cannot be critically relied upon to be the only camera illumination option available on any dive outing.

Wanna know why it leaks?
This product is an example of what happens when you marry an incompetent engineer with a shady marketeer, and give them access to surplus capacity of a cheap Chinese factory.
There is NO WAY this light will survive past 10 meters (on a regular basis). How can they print "50 meters" with a straight face?
Others have complained that the light goes off in the middle of the dive. This is a result of the pressure differential (in/out) while submerged. At the surface the pressure inside and outside the housing will be the same. As you descend the pressure on the outside increases and depresses and holds the button, turning the light off. And, you won't be able to turn it back on until you resurface. This is why all "real" dive lights use a rotating switch.
Or, maybe it went off because it flooded and shorted the circuit... more on that next.
If pressure on the push button was the only flaw with the design, they could have simply used a stronger spring to overcome the outer pressure... but that's not the only problem. This thing is destine to leak. The highr outside pressure (up to 5 bar) wants to equalize with the lower inside pressure (1 bar) and there are 4 points of entry.
1. Front lens. silicone seal, very likely to hold to 50 meters.
2. Charge port cover. silicone seal, very likely to hold to 50 meters, if attention is given while replacing and tightening. I would recommend using some sort of lubricant.
3. Switch button. loose o-ring (not compressed around shaft or in housing) very likely to leak in less than 50 meters. Probably will leak in anything over 3 meters, over multiple dives.
4. Thin film over the LED holes. Unknown resistance to pressure because it is glued in place, probably will hold to 50 meters. But, that completely depends on the saturation/coverage of the glue.
I will reassemble the case without the internals and pressure test it for leaks to see if I can identify the weakest point. My money is on the switch button o-ring.
The main board is designed for 96 LEDs and the battery is an 18650 - 2500mAh

Light is ok - battery and build are terrible
While the light is ok.
The build quality is terrible.
As can be seen in the photo, the attachment screws ripped through the plastic body and detached itself. Luckily I had tethered the light to myself so that if it did break off, as it did, I would not loose it.
Also, the charger compartment door is slotted. Meaning you need a coin, key, or flat head screw to access the charge port. Slotted doors are so 1970. Its 2019. The door should be thumb-screw type.
Battery life could be better as well. With medium to minimal use during a dive ( say a total of 15 minutes usage), the battery barely lasts 3 dives. Which is just ok as I do 3 dives a day and can recharge in the hotel. But for live-aboard or camp divers, 3 dives per charge would soon become monotonous.

5/5 light, 0/5 attachment!
This is a great light, its bright. I used it on a night nive, and as a large flood light it was great. With clear cozumel night waters is range was probably 20m of good light. As a point light not god, ut thats not what I bought it for.
The light is 5 stars, and only used it 1 time (see below) so far with with no water infiltration. My dives lasted between about 35-55 minutes, and the light did not loose power. It had on my longest dive 2 light dot indicators.
The BAD... THE ATTACHMENT... is rated in my opinion **0/5** stars. The screw plate has to 3/8 inch screws thin maybe 1-2 thick into plastic. The light is heavy and ripped the metal atacbment plate out of the plastic. So sadly I was unable tonuse forn the rest of my 9 dives including a cenotes dive.
The overall design for the piece is flawed. It needs to be rethought and better components utilized tonsupport the weight if the light. The picture shows me in Mexico trying to hold it together with glue..lol.
