Good until it’s not

After three months the glue just leaks out of the tip. I e cleaned the tip as recommended but no good. Just wasting glue.

Buyers beware!

I bought this twice thinking the first one was defective. Nope. It took in three glue sticks without anything coming out of the nozzle.

Don’t buy! Terrible product.

Do not buy!!! This thing is garbage. As soon as it starts to heat up, the glue just pours out of the nozzle the whole time it’s on. It makes a huge mess and simply isn’t usable.

Great and Easy to use!

Works great! The only issue I had was that it is can be hard to put back on the holder - especially one handed. It was still super easy to use - just look at my duck with a frog hat :)

Not made to last

It was great until it wasn’t. I’m a professional artist and crafter so it saw lots of use and good care. Unfortunately after less than a year it’s started leaking glue uncontrollably, making it unusable. So annoying to see products that are made to be disposable.

I don’t recommend it!!

My experience is bad. The cable turns it on and heats well, but when placing the silicone it does not come out where it should come out. I tried many times and nothing. I don't recommend it.

2nd one. Not so good

Had one of these before and it worked fantastic! Bought this exact same one again, and worked great for a little while, now even after being plugged in for a while, it's gotten harder to pump the glue out. Noticed today it looks like the glue is coming out of the seams.

I don’t give many reviews, but this one deserves some stars. I decided to do a mirror bead craft with an old cheap glue gun. I was tethered to the wall the whole time not realizing my cheap gun and cheap glue sticks were not going to hold. The beads have fallen off one by one each day. Fun.

So, I invested in this surebonder cordless gun. It has been a lifesaver. One by one I am gluing each bead back on and I could hang a bowling ball from them they are so tight. I did invest in the heavy hitter, gorilla glue sticks this time and make sure to get the full-size sticks for this gun. Worth it!

Portable, Quick, Light

Replaced my ancient glue gun with this versatile update. Love the cordless freedom, quick heat up and stand for wait times. My Halloween makes were a breeze.

Wastes to much glue!

I'm just so disappointed, I bought this glue gun because it's cordless and or corded. I really liked that option. I gave it a really good chance to love it but... It drips a lot and used a lot of glue sticks for waste. In 2 days I must have gone through 6+ glue sticks and probably could have finished my projects with one or two. When using the gun after heating up once you squeeze the trigger the glue just starts oozing out none stop even when you just barely pull the trigger and let go real fast. It just keeps coming out in full stream. Also it leaves streamers everywhere!! I guess the only positive I got is being cordless. It heats up well. I'm returning it!

Perfect for heavy duty Projects

I used this glue gun to attach my bulletin board backgrounds and banners directly onto the cement block walls of my classroom, and it worked like a charm! I was worried nothing would stick to the textured surface, but this glue held everything securely in place without damaging the wall. It heated up quickly, applied smoothly, and gave me enough working time to adjust my pieces before setting. Definitely a must-have for any teacher setting up a room with stubborn cement walls. Highly recommend!

I got burned by defective gun

Doesn’t work!! I’m so mad because I needed this for a poly-foam crown mouling. It’s eaten 3 glue sticks but no glue comes out of the tip! The gun is hot, charged and on and still nothing. It’s been over an hour. I’m not wasting anymore glue sticks on this thing because right now, a glue stick is worth more than this whole gun!!

Very good. I bought the wrong one though, I was supposed to buy the smaller one with the more precise nozzle bcoz I use it for eternal roses. So I recommend it for everything else except if ur making ribbon roses bcoz u need something more precise, so get the smaller one.

Great product, lots of glue waste

I love this glue gun. It’s cordless, heats up quickly, handles big glue jobs. The amount of waste it produces when not in use is significant, but otherwise I like it.

Wastes your glue

Update- reached out to the company off their website. I emailed and explained my situation and sent a video of the gun leaking. They were very quick to say that was a defect and sent me another gun free of charge. Excellent customer service. Which is very much appreciated these days. Now just for the customer service alone I would highly recommend.

Changed my review to 5 stars.

I wanted to love this heat gun because it’s cordless and can be hands free but it literally leaks and just wastes my glue. I didn’t use it write away and now I can’t return it. I would look at other glue gun options.

Great customer service

I bought this for my classroom but every time it was plugged in dripped alot. It was dripping a lot of glue as I was holding it without pushing trigger. I contacted manufacturer and they responded right away and are shipping a new one.

Not a good product

The glue gun is not as described at all it's very cheaply made very hard to get it off the stand if you're a Crafter you know that you have to be able to move faster the blue gun and this one does not allow you to do that the glue Catcher And the round circle in the front you can see the rubber came already lifted up very poorly made. They glue stick will not feed down the gun without being pushed either with your finger or another glue stick. It also claims that it comes with four mounting screws which there is nothing in the package. For a crafter I would not recommend this for someone that just wants a hot glue gun to use every now and then this possibly might work. My suggestion is do not buy this item because it doesn't work and it is definitely not as described.

Perfect for crafting

Absolutely love the convenience this glue gun offers. It's heavy duty yet still versatile enough to be convenient. I originally used this to put some cardboard cutout #s together and I'm so glad I didn't have to have the cord attached.

Charging Connection Loose

I was excited to purchase this cordless glue gun to use at school, but after unboxing and preparing to charge it, I was very disappointed. You can see in the video that either the male or female connection is so loose, I had to hold it together to get the charging light to turn on. Now, I’ll have to take the trouble to return it and order a different brand. Hopefully, I can get a different cordless glue gun before it’s too late. I looked for a way to contact the Surebonder company, but there is no contact information.

Got clogged after one use

I was excited to use this as the gun was cord free, i bought the mini and the full size. The mini is working fine but the full size soon as i had to put another glue stick in it got clogged. Same as some other reviews. Im past the return window and cant return it now. I think the green area that pushed the stick needs to be redesigned as it is silicone and thats where the glue stick is getting clogged. Update: I was able to get another replacement from the manufacturer, i will see if that one works better.

Excellent glue gun I ever purchased

This is my best glue gun I have ever purchased for my craft and house hold use. I wanted a cable free and this was the perfect one. It holds a great time after a charge. Easy to use. I bought separately the glue sticks. I dint see any dripping issues. It gets quickly charged and ready to use. I am very happy with this product and I recommend this.

It drips out my glue sticks like crazy.

I don't like that my glue sticks are being wasted because it drips non stop and the sticks get expensive. I buy the long ones and it will go through it in about 30 minutes.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I bought this glue gun on Sept 2020 and was very happy with it. But now it is a NON-STOP DRIPPING mess! I am losing too much glue sticks because of this. I use it daily because I create and sell many products. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT ANYMORE!
