Was fine for a few days, and then color went bad.
I was surprised by how good the color and white balance were out of the box. Zero changing settings and the color was very accurate. After a few days I noticed a problem. The color was only accurate in the middle of the images. Look at my included image example, the outside portions of the image are more magenta and are seemingly lacking yellow color. The middle portion of the image shows the yellow/orange of the toy and you can see the color change as you move away from the center of the image.
It was not like this at all when it arrived and I was very happy with the camera. I can only recommend this camera if you don't care about the color coming from it, and are okay with the color changing after using it.
Also the threads of the lens get damaged by the screw that hold it on because the screw goes directly into the threads.

SVPRO 16MP USB manual focus camera
I bought this SVPRO 16MP camera a couple of weeks ago to replace the 8MP camera on my fiber laser, mainly because I wasn’t happy with the focus quality on the old one. This one is a big improvement. The image is sharp across the whole work area, and it makes positioning and alignment much more accurate. The focus, iris, and zoom rings all move smoothly with no crunch or binding. I’m using it strictly for machine‑vision on a laser, and for that purpose it works exactly the way I need it to.

Sharp High Quality Zoom & Detail. Rewarding Images With 5 Star Detail & Clarity.
WOW! This camera completely surprised me — the zoom clarity and detail are AMAZING.
I’m definitely not a techie, so I was a little intimidated at first. But after wasting money on too many products to find the right one in this affordable range, I kept ending up with “zoom” cameras that promised everything and delivered blurry disappointment, this SVPRO 16MP is the solution with features that actually lives up to its promises, and even delivered more than expected.
Setup for me was simply plugging it into my PC and downloading using one of their recommended free software apps.
The real optical zoom is the star here. This is NOT one of those fake phone-style digital zooms where the image turns into mashed potatoes the second you enlarge it. Once you dial in the manual zoom and focus correctly, the detail is seriously impressive — I found myself zooming in on random things across the street just because I could!
The camera itself feels compact, solid, and well made with a sturdy metal housing. Image quality is incredibly sharp for monitoring, detailed project work, hobby use, workshop setups, microscope-style closeups, pet monitoring, and security footage where you actually want to see details during playback instead of blurry mystery blobs.
That said, this is definitely NOT your average plug-and-play family webcam. It feels more like a compact surveillance or hobbyist camera. You manually adjust the zoom, focus, and aperture yourself, and even small movements require readjustment. At first it felt a little fiddly, but once I got the hang of it, it honestly became pretty fun — assuming you have at least a tiny bit of patience and a slight perfectionist streak.
Despite “webcam” being in the title, I personally wouldn’t use this for casual selfies or family Zoom calls. This camera is built for detailed imaging, monitoring, projects, and situations where true optical zoom matters.
For me, it completely solved the problem of grainy footage and pixelated closeups. No subscription fees, no fake zoom gimmicks — just impressively detailed images once everything is properly adjusted. I’m officially a huge fan. Easy 5 stars from me.
