TACTACAM Defend Cellular Security Camera

These cameras send false alerts all day every day- even on low sensitivity and nothing moves.

The image quality is fair, and the solar option works well, but these cameras send false alerts all day, every day. When I look at the alerts, there's nothing there. No people, no movement. It just sends the picture. It happens even when the camera is set to low sensitivity. The only way to stop all the notifications is to turn the camera off.

Couldn’t handle Winter in Missouri

Can’t handle the cold weather? Temps dipped to around 0 this week and my camera has gone offline. Now the weather is warming back up but still the camera is offline. Did the cold snap kill my expensive camera?

Beware of the subscription costs they charge as well. Even with the top tier $175/year plan, I get charged if I want to download a video clip of detected motion. The plan includes “unlimited live viewing”, but if you aren’t watching when the motion occurs, what you really want is to download the clip. Downloading is NOT part of the top tier subscription.

Way cool! Security a must.

Wow! This is awesome! I can't wait to put this on my house when the weather gets better. This is a cellular/App run camera! I will update my review once installed. So far I am impressed. Uses AA batteries but I bought the rechargeable battery pack along with it. So excited.

Impressed with this camera

I am very happy with my purchase. I was looking for an easy and reliable security camera to watch the front of my house. This camera was easy to set up and even easier to install. I'll be buying a few more for my cabin, too.

Excellent camera, great quality, no wifi or power needed

Switching all my security cameras to these. Best part is when you lose power or wifi, you cameras are still working because they use cellular service. A+! Got 3 and will be adding more!
