Lags a lot, no free cloud storage. Can’t combine all four for discount on storage. Cheap does the bare minimum I would say. Black and white for night mode. Discrete, cord long enough to hid if needed. Easy to adjust but only manually. So you’ll need to put it exactly where you need it. Set up was a breeze. Video quality seems adequate so far. Would not buy again. Mostly due to storage.

I have two other Tapo cameras. I thought I'd try this smaller one as it could sit in my window. Well it will sit there, but it doesn't work. I attempted to set this up for just over an hour and gave up. It's supposed to be easy to ADD A DEVICE when I already have two Tapo cameras on the app. This smaller one would not connect to the internet, therefore is useless. I honestly wasn't happy when I received a BLACK cord as I ordered a WHITE camera. That alone almost made me return it, but I really hoped this tiny one would work. Sadly, it would not. You can at least see the size comparison in the photos I took before I boxed it back up to return it. /// Additional note: This cheap $16 camera didn't work, but I got a similar small size for a more expensive cost of $35 for ONE and it did work. Just wanted you to know it wasn't user error. Either this cheap one is a piece of junk or I got a reject.

Tapo C110 Review
The Tapo C110 is a compact plug-in security camera that delivers surprisingly clear video for its size. The image quality during the day is crisp, and while the night mode works, it can be a little inconsistent at times.
The setup gave me a bit of trouble at first—mostly due to connectivity issues that were frustrating since I’m not the most tech-savvy person. But once I got it figured out, everything worked smoothly. I was able to connect it to my home network and access all the features without any more problems.
I like that it has a decent cord length and includes a privacy mode, which is great when you don’t want the camera active. It also lets you record video and take photos using a microSD card, which is convenient. The only downside is that removing the microSD card can be a little tricky if you want to transfer footage to your computer.
Overall, it’s a reliable little camera for everyday monitoring. There’s also an optional cloud subscription, but it’s not required to use the main features—which is nice.

I'm very impressed with the image clarity; it's a vast improvement over my previous TENVISTY cameras. However, the camera cannot move or adjust its angle, which is the only real drawback.

I've had several cameras from different brands, and without a doubt, Tp-link delivers what it promises with the Tapo and Kasa cameras.
It has the option to record images on a micro SD card, which allows you to view the recordings.
The audio quality is excellent, the video is relative for the price, but for me it's very good. I have 13 cameras to monitor my dogs, in addition to other devices from Tapo and Kasa.
Connecting to the app is very fast, and camera configuration is intuitive.
It can be set up with your Google Home or Alexa account very easily. I found setting it up with Apple Home a bit complicated, so I didn't integrate it. There are many steps that must be repeated with each device.

These cameras are an amazing buy! I have 8 right now, quality is great, better then my $60 Reolink cams. They say inside but I have put them outside under overhands etc. Highly reccomend them, they work with 3rd party NVRs like BlueIris. But the Taco app is nice. I am running them in a no cloud environment using Blueiris. I have a mini PC connected to my 75" Tv via hdmi. The cams in the red boxes are the Tape cams.

Hello, this camera has impressed me for several reasons. The first is its price, which is quite affordable. Its features in the app are very interesting and convenient for managing the security of your home or even your business. However, I was shocked by the accessories, mainly its charger, which feels very outdated for these times. I mean, we are in the 21st century, in the year 2025, and they are still using a plug; that is unforgivable. I was also disappointed with the quality of the materials, as the plastic feels very fragile. I could also hear the audio through its speaker, which is very deficient.
In comparison to Kasa cameras, I would say these are far superior.

Using a 3D printed mounting bracket, this is a wonderful monitor camera for our P1S 3D printer. The cord is quite long, so I didn't need an extension. Resolution is good and the delay is only about 1 second.

Paid for 4 cameras but only 3 work. Can’t get the 4th camera to connect at all. Followed troubleshooting guide, reset, no luck. Tapo customer service I can’t get ahold of, so feeling scammed a bit.

These cameras were very easy to set up (less than 2 minutes each). There are a lot of nice features; record at certain times, record only people, record all motion, and you can select specific times for each. The SD card took about 1 minute to update and it will loop the recording. Hardware is included for mounting but I didn't use it. The cameras have an alarm, notifications for your settings, and audio. I didn't notice much of a difference between the 2k and 1080p resolution, but you can still zoom in on the picture and see relatively well.

Easy to set up and provides an impressive picture for the price. I actually have mine currently set up on back porch despite it being an indoor camera. I picked some video that shows how well it does switching back and forth between night vision and normal. Motion sensing lights make it dark/light/dark/light. It blows the blink mini I have out to some distant planet where vision sucks (they probably have really great olfactory senses tho). I would highly recommend this and once I get my outdoor one I will use this one to spy on my cats. That one trouble maker who's constantly getting I to things is going to have a live scared out of her when I tell her I see her and to knock it off. 😈

Really nice indoor security camera! Easy to install and set-up! Really easy to use with the app, and the camera "live" video can be accessed from anywhere, as long as you have a data or WiFi connection. Perfect for watching pets or monitoring children and babies rooms, as well as a security camera! It has great passive infrared and can "see in the dark". You can listen to what's happening, you can talk through the microphone and you can take pictures and video too!

So far I don't have anything bad to say about it. Works great, takes good videos. I film myself coming in with groceries and whatnot. Very nice picture. Filmed a couple hours on it one time to test it out and the SD card. Perfect. Easy to erase. Have the Tapo service. Can't think of anything bad about it. Only had it a little while. Great product so far!

I own two Tapo cams now. I use them all the time. I now live in a motel, 6 month lease, and it's not the best area. So I bought this one on a different one so they can cover my butt when I leave for shopping or work or whatever. Very easy to set up. Very easy to use the software app. The video quality is excellent and not choppy. But the audio recording and the two-way feature have something for the company to work on. You can understand some of what someone says in the room when it's recording, but that isn't good quality at all. That's my only gripe. After a little research into these type of devices, I find that in most cases, excellent audio doesn't come and tell your head a $90 or above product. And I mean that I seem to hear that about all brand product. I'm not saying that I don't like this product because I do. I very much do. If I was able to get a bigger place, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a couple more of these. They are very small and easy to tuck away.
I love the feature that it has for storing the videos, both on a media card and cloud storage. The cloud storage comes with a 30-day trial after which you will have to pay for a month subscription. If you're using these for real security reasons, I would highly recommend to go ahead and get your 30-day subscription that will support multiple items at once. You won't need to have to get a subscription for each one. That way if the place does get robbed, I can only assume that they would snag these cams thinking they would take the evidence with them. The cloud storage stops that. After testing a lot of times what the label is like when I walk into my room as it is secured until my phone receives the alert, sending a photo of the visitor to my phone immediately. Well immediately meeting within 10 seconds sometimes 15 seconds. Well that's good enough for me.
I also like the fact that it has the option to activate an alarm as well as motion detection recording. It sounds like the standard alarm clock on your phone. The volume is about the same as a decent phone turned all the way up for alarm. It does in fact echo out into the Hall with my door closed.

I finally caught the nasty teenagers leaving messes in the hallway. The day I set it up!! This far exceeded the expectations I had for this item based on the price I paid.
The only downside is that in order to access cloud storage or most features, you need to subscribe to the company’s premium service. However there is a 30 day free trial which is good enough for me.

It is like 2 seconds delayed but other than that I would say it’s pretty good! Night vision is WAYY better than I expected and it also gives you notifications if it detects movement. I don’t think it could be outside but I’m not 100% sure. 10/10 buy

When I go to church or run an errand, I’m able to check on my dogs to make sure the puppy is being nice to the older one. Also, I was able to catch my aunt stealing from my room. After that, it hasn’t happened again & she was confronted. Thank you for this camera! It happened at night so I was able to clearly see what she took. This camera is amazing in both daytime & night.

The picture quality is great. It’s clear and definitive. There is a talk back option. The only down side is if there is too much noise it cancels out the sound and you can’t hear- which is fine really because I just need to see. It has a cloud feature you need to decide if it’s worth it to pay for. So far so good. I’ve had it a month. You can add other cameras to it and label them. I like it. Recommended if you need something quick.

I've been using this camera for a couple of weeks and so far it has done exactly what I needed it to do. I wanted something I could put in my apartment to keep an eye on the place when I'm out of town, and it looks out the window the rest of the time. The picture quality is good enough for what it is, especially when it's bright. The mounting option is also pretty nice, I can hang it from the ceiling pretty easily, though the power cable leaves something to be desired. It is a standard barrel plug and it is pretty long, but I do wish that it was USB or even power over ethernet.
Setup through the app was super easy, though some of the settings are a little fiddly. There are two options for "disabling" sound, but only one actually disables the microphone on the camera. I was initially a little disappointed because I thought I'd be completely tied to the tapo app to manage the camera, but after a conversation with their support team I found out that the camera supports ONVIF, so I can connect it to my NAS to record to a hard drive instead of just the SD card or tapo cloud, and also set up more specific rules and tracking.
It isn't super robust, so I wouldn't put it anywhere it might experience the elements, but for an indoor camera, this was a pretty good value.
