Tascam
Edenrage of the equator
New out the box the unit was defective, gave a “codec 30 error, power unit off”. Tascam warranty covered parts but not labor after 90 days. Poor move by tascam to not stand by its manufacturing problems or its customers. Do not buy!

This is great mixer, but also a stand alone recorder. As pictured, I run my signal(s) through the M24 into the DP32SD. The M24 has some good onboard efxs. The Neutral Earth- Current Volts & Ohms “album” on you tube was recorded using the M24 into the DP32SD. However, two songs (Blue Leech & Neolithic Traveler) we’re both recorded on the M24 alone. Give a listen, both recorders provided excellent sound. The DP32SD is a true portastudio which allows cut and paste, & mastering to name a few features. Happy with my TASCAM purchases.

I'm beyond stoked and completely satisfied with my purchase, This Tasscam 24 is amazing, with the built-in audio interface, compressor, preamps, and equalizers you're basically buying three or four different pieces of equipment in one. I was blown away by the analog sound quality when I ran my guitar and vocals through channels one and two for the first time. The one knob compressor sounds amazing, you just dial it into your taste, the equalizers with sweeping mid-band range is awesome. I have no doubt my band and I are going to be able to produce a studio quality sounding album off of this board.
