I love the machine however it did not come with the manual. Very disappointing because it would have came in handy.

First of all, don’t worry about the dust in the photo—I cleaned it right after taking the gig!
This has been an excellent purchase and has taken my live performances to the next level. I honestly can’t imagine doing a show without it anymore; it feels like something is missing when I don’t bring it with me.
I’m still only using a small fraction of what this unit can do, and I know it will take me a long time to learn all of its features. I use it exclusively for vocals, since I’m a singer, and it sounds amazing. My audiences love the effects, and they’ve added a lot to my performances.
Be prepared to spend some time learning and exploring all of its features, because there is definitely a learning curve. However, if you’re patient, it’s incredibly rewarding. I absolutely love it and would buy it again without hesitation.

This must be my 7th unit from the brand ...still to this day unrivalled vocal effects pedal... literally the best on the market .. it is permanent part of my mic set up as a lead vocalist . .. the harmonies and vocal capabilities are unmatched...it will take some getting used to there are lots of parameters...but still unrivaled

I bought this fantastic Vocal Processor and Looper.. their top of the line... over $700 .... and after 18 months of light studio use it won't power on, and the only thing TC Helicon (Music Tribe) can tell me is that they have no idea how long it will take to get parts.. they are relocating their parts warehouse ..and they wont send a replacement unit. Makes one wonder why I bought premium gear from TC Helicon.... it's now a $700+ pile of scrap metal....

Update Feb 14, 2018 - I was contacted by phone from a HQ Representative regarding the repeated troubles I was having with my VL3x. They immediately sent me brand new and updated console to replace it. I was able to get back to gigging this past month. So it seems that they were having problems with it but had begun to correct it. So I am updating my review to reflect that point. Also from what I understand TC Helicon is no more but have been taken over by another company. I hope they will continue to improve on this console.
I purchased my VL3x about six months ago. I spent 3 months putting the backing tracks together and programming Vox fx ques. I gigged with it three times in four weeks. It has spent the rest of the time going back and forth between me and the warranty repair shop. Blank screens, failure to boot up, something else to do with level meter that Max's out on it's own. I've had to cancel all of the gigs that I had agreed to do, all the way up to March of next year while I retool my act. In theory the VL3x a fantastic idea and I hope someone does it right but TC Helicon did not. I can not recommend this product to anyone.

Failed out of the box. Common issue according to my web research on product/model related problems.. Very disappointed with absence of support from TC Helicon or their contract web based customer service. Returning the unit. Features sound very promising but "broken" is its defining quality. Video shows flashing boot fail screen. Normal boot screen takes you to the last accessed effects patch. Buyer beware.
