Poor Quality

This item has been replaced more than once because after about 30 days the blue color lights fade to no light at all. the switch still works but the lights do not display. I have two other units that this happened to after the 30 day return window closed. So now I am stuck with non-working units. Do not purchase.

The blue lights in the switches don't last long.

This product works well and is a solid build, but the blue lights don't last long. I use switches 1 and 2 100% of the time since I plugged it up on July 2nd and in 3 weeks the light in switch 1 has dimmed down to 2% and the light in switch 2 has dimmed down to 20 to 25% the rest of the lights are 100% strong because they're rarely used. I want a second unit, but I may try another brand because I like the blue light switches. The blue lights are important, otherwise I could buy a cheaper version with no lights. If they fix this and it last I would revise my 3 star to a 5 star.

The lights fail rapidly.

I like the mechanical characteristics of the unit but every one has dead lights. It is sad because I paid extra for lighted switches and on all four of these I have, most of the lights have failed. It is not designed to last.

Looks cool, works great

Bought for my home studio to individually power my devices from my desk.

I’ll update this review if anything goes wrong.

***update*** about 6 months in the blue lights behind the switches stopped working.

I have two units. Overall they do what they are supposed to do. They are very lightweight and sadly my blue indicator lights are already failing after just 6 weeks, despite turning them off when not in use. I probably wouldn’t buy them again and spend a little more for something else.

Lights no longer work for some ports.

It's hard to tell in the picture but the lights for ports 1,4, & 5 no longer illuminate. It seems as though the LEDs just burnt out. It was just port 5 to begin with, but each one is failing after it. The unit still functions otherwise. At this point I can't recommend this unit, as the lights are an integral feature, and the entire reason I picked this one specifically.

Update 1-11-23 All lights now completely burnt out. Otherwise unit working well. I plan to remove the led circuit and LEDs and replace them with my own. Could be over voltage to LEDs, could be poor quality LEDs.

Not worth it. Too many design issues.

Rack ears not aligned to the front. Plastic feet need to be removed. Cord not detachable. Screws on the bottom should be countersunk.

This made my setup look great

Product came with only one rack mount ear, it’s useless like that

I was intending to use this product for power distribution to my equipment in my rack case.

But with only one ear mount bracket that’s impossible to do. Either send me the other one ASAP or I’m returning this thing.

It’s also very cheaply made, I’m starting to feel un confident about using it at all.

Working as expected from last 3month now

Easy to use , nice things is all switch with small led so looks nice on my rack

Beware, every single picture shows that you can plug your own c13 computer power cord into the unit. That is false, the unit comes with a hard-wired power cord. The description does say it has a 4ft power cord, but jokes on me for thinking it was a 4ft long c13 power cord that I could switch out for a longer cord as needed. As of now I'm stuck with this debating what I'm going to do with it, need more than 4ft so it seems like I threw away $50.
