Smooth surface: no grip

Edit: kep and ordered grip material to help with the smooth finish that make it easy to slip from your hands. I looked up the material from my broken mouse and it was defined as; ABS plastic with a matte, textured, or rubberized finish. The finish helps with grip.

Comfortable, ergonomic, and long battery life

It looks nice and fits very well in your hand. It works perfectly and has an on/off switch to save battery. It also comes with a charging cable, but the battery lasts a long time. It connects through USB. At first it feels a bit different if you’re not used to this type of mouse, but once you adjust, it’s very comfortable and helps prevent pain if you work long hours on the computer.

Perfect for me

I love it. Connecting to my computer was really easy and I found my wrist doesn’t hurt like it used to. The color is like in picture.

The perfect mouse to combat carpal tunnel!

Great mouse! Long battery life, comfortable, and light. I really like that the charging port is in the front and not on the bottom like some apple mouses so that you can still use it while charging.

The charging light changes when it's fully charged which is also helpful.

Check the Measurements and Size Specs Closely!

I have a previous version of the TECKNET Ergonomic Mouse in black. It still works great after three years of near daily use but, for purely aesthetic reasons, I wanted a white mouse. I purchased this one hoping it would be close to a 1:1 match for my current mouse. Unfortunately, I didn't pay much attention to the specs and measurements—that was definitely a mistake.

The new mouse is much taller, longer, and narrower than the original. I think I probably have average sized hands for an adult woman, but this mouse is way too big for my hand. It's not just uncomfortable, it's almost impossible to grip and use effectively.

Quality seems on par with my original mouse, packaging was fine, etc. etc., but I'll be returning this one.

Expensive for 6 months of use

It stopped working after 6 months. Before that it was a good mouse.

Interesting Design Might Be Good For Larger Hands

This mouse is designed to be ergonomic. It does move the hand into a more natural position, which is more vertical than horizontal. This is good.

It is important to understand that it may not at first feel natural to a user who has been using the more traditionally-shaped mouse for many years. But it will keep the carpel tunnel area of the wrist open and properly aligned with the forearm bone arrangement. This is key.

The downside of it is that my hand is of medium size (when fitting a glove). As such, I found the 'depth' of the mouse to be made for larger hands.

As a person gets older, he or she may experience a shake to the hand or fingers, such as when experiencing what is called 'essential tremor'. I found mine exacerbated by attempting to press the left mouse button, which in this case requires a squeezing between thumb and forefinger. This 'squeezing' motion is not natural from more traditional mouse usage, and must become an acquired taste. (Will it become a big contrast to hand and finger motion when using the keyboard?)

Perhaps it will get better with more use. Time will tell.

I also found that the operating system does not see a name for this device during the recognition of it when plugged in and being configured. Obviously a bit of an overlooked detail in the design of the USB receiver.

The mouse has a built-in battery system, and is supplied with a good cable to charge it. Battery life is not yet known, but might become an issue if it runs down during use and must be recharged before continuing. Don't know if there is a warning light.

Also, it has very poor instruction manual. There is supposed to be a way to change the DPI, but I could not figure how to do so.

UPDATE:

The seller did contact me and was very nice about it. Was also willing to take my feedback, and to provide missing information. That was helpful. It remains to be seen if they will create a proper user document, and/or create a new size design for the device itself, such as models for small, medium and large hands.

Great rechargable cordless mouse

I have been using corded mice because I hate changing the batteries on a cordless mouse (the old days!). But I have a new setup and a cordless mouse would be better. So I saw this rechargeable mouse and thought I'd try it.

I hate a clicky mouse and keyboard. This mouse is nice and quiet. I've been using it for 2 months and have had no issues. I use it at the office, with a Dell laptop (Windows). I turn it off when I leave for the day (most days), and I plug it in to charge if I'll be out a few days or on the weekends.

I find the size to be perfect, I am an average-sized woman. Told my dad to get one!

Super cute mouse

I am a purple lover, so I get everything I can in purple. When I saw this mouse I had to have it! It was a seamless connection, and it has been so smooth to work with. I really like this mouse. I haven't had any issues.

Stopped working after a year.

I purchased this mouse in April of 2023 as a second option for work. I could leave one at work and one at home essentially. I fell in love with it. It became my preferred mouse and I ended up using it regardless of my original intentions. It has overall been a great mouse.

Unfortunately I have docked 2 stars for longevity. One of the reasons I purchased this mouse was for the Bluetooth capability. My work laptop only has two available USB ports so I needed to find a way to free up one of those ports. I have had this mouse for just over a year and today it has decided it no longer wants to work. I changed the battery in it 2 days ago so when the mouse stopped working I initially thought maybe the battery I got from a family member was not a good one. I grabbed a battery from the supply closet at work to test this with. Still will not work. I’ve tried both the Bluetooth and usb. Nothing works.

I do find this quite disappointing. I like how it fits in my hands. Some of the others you find in stores or online are too small and make my hand cramp. The one I switched from to use this one I have had for a least 8 years. I purchased it when I purchased my personal laptop in 2018 so I am considerably disappointed that I barely got a years worth of use, and not even consistent use at that as I only used it when I wasn’t working from home since I had a corded mouse for my home office.

I’m on the fence about purchasing a new one. I really try to get products that are going to last awhile and not have to be replaced consistently. Yes it lasted a year and for some that’s ok but comparing it to my personal laptop mouse, it just doesn’t hold up to the standards that’s been set.

Lasted less than 2 years

I’ve been using this mouse on and off for less than two years. Today, the left click stopped functioning correctly. Only works when using additional force to push the button down. Mouse was cheap, but expect more out of an item that is only used a few times a week. Better quality options out there for longevity.

So far, this mouse is my go to!

I've been using a trackball mouse for awhile now but wanted some thing more traditional with better ergonomics for my hand. So far, I don't see myself going back to the trackball mouse any time soon. The soft texture for your thumb feels great and the silent clicks were satisfying. Works great on PC and Macs. Can't say much about the battery life just yet as I just started using it, but worked great right out of the box!

Silent Click

Just got it in not too long ago and it seems to be working pretty well it does have much more of a silent click than most mice do. Time will tell but it seems like it's a good quality mouse.

Right Handed Mouse

Can only use this mouse with my right hand as the “Back-Button” is too easily clicked when it’s not wanted. I wasn’t expecting the mouse to have these buttons and they are well waisted on me. I always thought I had normal sized hands, but obviously I’m a big fingered, clumsy lefty, who doesn’t play games.

After using this mouse for a couple of months the annoying buttons now seem to be overly sensitive which has me looking around for another mouse to purchase. Very disappointed. Windows 10 won't let me disable those buttons.

Got a Newer Model & is Much Quieter

I've been using the FR2008 (Right) for about 1.5 years. It's been especially quiet, but recently developed issues scrolling pages.

The replacement TJ2204 was recently sent to correct the issues and I'm very impressed.

The new model is Quieter, Lighter, and Scrolls with no issues whatsoever.

The only small issue is that the new USB is quite rigid and hard to insert/remove. Otherwise, very excited about having a new, quieter mouse.

Straight Up

They changed it! DPI button doesn't work, too many click fails

The old model was good, they changed it for the worse. This would be a great mouse if the DPI switch worked and if I didn't have to click five times to select something. It may be it's defective or just a bad re-design. This my second TECKNET mouse. The first one was fine and lasted a year and a half. I expected the same model but it's different than what is pictured. Unlike the older pictured model, there's no LED or other indicator when you press the DPI selector. There's nothing in the instructions other than an illustration pointing out the location of the DPI button. As far as I can tell you can't change the DPI because the button doesn't seem to do anything. The dealbreaker, I don't know what the deal is with the misfiring clicks. You shouldn't have to click three to five times just to select something. I changed the settings to no avail. It's a shame because I was looking for a reliable simple quiet clicking wireless mouse with forward/backward side buttons. The old model lasted a year and a half and I would have been fine with another of it, but this one's going back and I'm going to have to try something else.

PERFECT Mouse but issues with scroll wheel

Mouse is PERFECT but the scroll wheel started acting up after 3 months. When trying to scroll up and down it would be choppy, sometimes partially scrolling up when trying to scroll down and vice versa.

Other than that it was perfect. Quiet clicks, comfortable fit, 3 DPI speed adjustments, fwd & back buttons, and good battery life.

They offer a warranty. Will change to 5 stars if they actually follow through with a replacement

Best wireless mouse

I been using this this mouse from last couple of days and it’s working on multiple devices.

It feels remarkably well-built and should be comfortable enough to last a full work day without any soreness.

Excellent build quality, compatible on both Mac and windows.

Mouse is somewhat small for my large hands

I like this mouse especially I have carpal tunnel on my right hand. Its ergonomic and scrolling is faster. I don’t have to worry about getting a new battery every time the power gets low. However, its small for my large hand so its sometimes uncomfortable.

Very good product, occasional mishaps

I do really enjoy this product. It connected to my laptop easily and works very well. The only reason it’s 4 stars (more like 4.5 in my book) is because sometimes when I’m highlighting something it’ll stop itself halfway through. A minor, occasional annoyance but not that big of a deal to me

My son loves the side buttons...

I got this for my son since he lost the USB connector things to his wireless mouse. He wanted one with a scrolling wheel so I quickly picked this one since the design looks sleek and you don't need to open a slot to place the USB connector thingy. To my surprise, he was so glad that there were two buttons on the side of the mouse in addition to the scrolling wheel and button on top. He learned from his friend how to assign these buttons as shortcuts in the Fortnite game! So this is a small but pleasant surprise.
