switch location

It's inconvenient because the device-switching switch is located on the bottom.

Overall, I'm happy with my new mouse :) Lots of details below...

Overall, I'm quite happy with my new mouse. :)

I made sure to include a detailed video showing the unboxing, as well as how it looks once it's set up.

The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is mentioned in the video... Immediately after opening my "new" mouse, I noticed there seems to be... not necessarily scuffs or scratches or anything permanent like that... but just like... I guess the oils from our hands (?) all over the mouse. Like, it looked like someone else had handled the mouse (at minimum) or possibly full on used the mouse for a short while before it was shipped to me as a "new item." It came in a labeled box with a charging cord and an instruction booklet thing; the mouse itself was even wrapped up in bubble wrap? But once I pulled it out of the bubble wrap pouch, I could see all the little "person" marks all over it. Like it was used and then not wiped down or something? As I said in the video, it's not like my own hand isn't going to be on it all the time... so as long as the mouse works properly and is comfortable to use, then it's not something I would bother going through the return/replacement process for. But when you open your new electronic toy, you expect it to be sleek and shiny and NEW (assuming you bought it new, which I obviously did).

Aside from that though? The buttons all seem to work well, the scroll wheel is smooth enough while still giving enough physical feedback that you can tell when you've scrolled "one click" or whatever. The description (and multiple reviews) mentioned that the buttons were very quiet (and they are!) which made me, personally, a little hesitant bc I like auditory feedback from my mouse & keyboard. I use a mechanical keyboard SPECIFICALLY FOR the clicky noises lol So I was a little concerned that I might not like a mouse where I don't hear the clicks... HOWEVER :) the buttons DO make a quiet clicking noise AND (more importantly, I've come to realize) even if the click *noise* itself isn't super loud/noticeable, the *feeling* of clicking the button is still obvious enough. I like knowing that I've fully clicked the mouse button or knowing that if I double-clicked too fast and the 2 clicks didn't actually happen (I basically just held the button down instead of lifting my finger enough for the 2nd click), I can FEEL that that happened. So for any one who likes physical feedback from your computer mouse - it's not as loud or as "hard" of a click as more traditional mice, but there is definitely still enough sound and click feeling to satisfy that need (for me, anyway).

Size-wise? It's not much bigger than a traditional mouse. if that helps anyone who is trying to figure out just how big this mouse is before buying it lol).

There are a couple extra buttons to work with, which I like. The button just below the wheel controls DPI. So, realistically, once you have your mouse speed set to what you like, you probably won't really need to mess with this button again? But it is nice being able to so easily get that aspect set up the way I want it to be set up. Aside from that, there are 2 buttons just above the thumb-groove that, by default, control the "go back 1 page/1 selection" and "go forward 1 page/1 selection" which I really like and find to be very convenient.

There is an LED light strip around the base of the mouse and you can flip through the options for how you want the colors set up by clicking the wheel and the top "thumb" button at the same time. You get choices of: 1) having the colors cycle through by "breathing/fading" through all the colors while they kind of spin around the base of the mouse, 2) having all the colors cycle through by "blinking" from one color to the next (where the entire light strip is one single color and then quickly blinks to the next, going through all the colors over and over again), 3) you can set it to just stay on one single color of your choice, or 4) you can choose to leave the colors off. I love the "breathing/fading while spinning around the light strip" option. It's very soothing.

I bought this mouse bc I just recently started a new job (data entry) where I am on the computer FAR MORE OFTEN than I used to be, each day. I'm only a month or so into the job and I started noticing that my wrist and elbow were hurting/almost a "lightning jolt" that would randomly happen where it would shoot from my wrist to the "funny bone" part of my elbow. I looked it up and found that normal mice force the hand to be in a position that stresses the nerve running from hand/wrist to elbow. Normal use of a mouse wouldn't cause discomfort, but extensive use (especially sudden extensive use) often results in that pain. MANY sources recommended a vertical mouse (or a trackball mouse... but I don't like not moving my hand around on the mouse pad. It feels strange to me lol) so I'm giving it a shot!

I've used the mouse for a few days now and I have definitely noticed WAY less pain, if not to say no pain at all! So I'm very happy about that. Changing from using a regular mouse to this new hand position was a small bit of adjustment, but I quickly got used to it.

(Obviously, this review is not intended to offer any kind of medical advice. If you are having issues, you should talk to your own doctor. Using this mouse instead of a regular one was a very positive change for me to make, in my situation.)

Happy thumb

Just using my mouse for the first time today. I chose it for the vertical design and the thumb support. I have arthritis in my thumbs. First, it is a good size. It is not huge like some I have tried. The height of the thumb rest and the ridges on the thumb rest really do allow my thumb to *rest*, perfectly in line with my wrist and forearm. AND it is *LIGHT*. Moving the mouse from side to side is effortless with only a slight movement of my wrist.

Did not improve my wrist pain. But mouse work smooth without problem

I use tecknet mose product all the time, and got this ergonomic for the reason to reduce me and my wife wrist pain. The mouse function well, but the design did not reduce my wrist pain Perhaps this mouse did not solve my wrist problem. I will try touch pad or track ball mouse

Work mouse

Works great. The back button is just inconvenient. Though I’m happy I bought it. I use it for work. Though my hands are small the size is a little bit big in my hand.

Color, sound, size and battery details

I love this mouse! I was looking for an ergonomic mouse to replace my Adesso because the zoom wheel wasn't working properly. I was looking for a nice aesthetic off white mouse to match my new office decor. I browsed for a few days but it was hard to tell what color everything was. I finally decided on this one mostly based on price. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived! The color is perfect and exactly what I was looking for! It's a matte slightly off-white color, maybe eggshell? I included pictures of the color on a bright white piece of paper for reference. The size is perfect for me, I have small hands so if you have larger hands it might be too small for you. One thing I really love is that it's not super "clicky". My Adesso mouse was kinda loud but I never realized it until I got this one and it's super quiet! I love the way it feels in my hand. It uses 1 AA battery (not included) compared to the 2 AAA that my Adesso used. I ended up ordering a 2nd one in black for my home office at an even better price. Super easy to use!
